Luz Noceda and The Slytherin Father

Luz Noceda discovers that her father wasn't her father and her real father is an actual wizard. After Camila tells Luz the true identity of her father, not too long after the reveal Luz receives a letter from Hogwarts that tells her that she will be attending Hogwarts School of Magic. After she receives this letter, she sends another letter to the school asking them if they know his name; Severus Snape.

On June 15, on Thursday at 3:45 P.M. a small family in a small town was not having a delightful summer. The Noceda household, home of both; Camila Noceda and Luz Noceda were having a screaming match of the century. On this day, Luz decided to go to the library of Gavefield to read and have some quiet time to herself. After leaving the library, Luz finally meets a group of friends that would understand her 'weirdness' better than anyone else. After their encounter, Luz walked home hoping that this would be a good day. But, she thought wrong. Once she returned home, she found her mother's diary on the kitchen counter and read it. After reading a few pages connected to the time of her birth, Luz discovers some shocking news about her father. Camila walks into the kitchen and sees Luz reading her diary and at the same time, Luz confronts her mother about what she read.

"I can't believe you lied to me! How could you?!" Luz screams in anger at her mother with tears coming down her eyes. She slams her bare fist onto the table counter in pure rage.

"Don't yell at me, young lady!" Camila also had tears in her eyes. "I lied to you to protect you!"

"Protect me?! All of this time, me raving about magic-making everyone think that I was insane to believe that magic was protecting me?! I started to feel as if they were right, that I was the crazy one! Instead of telling me the truth about everything you just," Luz groans in anger, "You just believe that is protecting me?!"

Camila then asks in anger, "Tell me, what should have I told you, hmmm? Tell you- -" Luz then interrupts her mother.

"That the man who raised, the man who taught me to help others is the right thing to do, the same man who read to me every night before I went to bed wasn't even my real father?!" Camila puts her hands over her mouth figuring out how far into the diary Luz has gotten through, "And that isn't even the worst part, my real father is not only alive but also is a- - -"

Camila then interrupts her. "Don't say it, Luz."

Luz then says, "That my father is an actual wizard! The same wizard who does magic in the hundreds of books that I read. The same books that I'm 'obsessed' over are the type of wizard. The wave-the-wand-and-magic-comes-wizard? Yes, that's him." Luz then asks as she begins to breathe heavily, "Why? Why didn't you tell me the truth? Why did you lie to me for twelve years of my life? Were you so ashamed of me, just like dad?" Luz adds a lot of venom around the word 'dad' which made Camila cry even more.

Camila wipes her tears from her face as she says, "I will never be ashamed of you, you're my daughter. I never told you the truth because you couldn't handle the truth about your father and me. After- - After he told me the truth about him, I asked him to marry me, and he said yes. We were going to be a family, but then, he did something despicable that caused me to lose ties with him. The man who raised you acted more of a father than that man ever could. He cared about this family, and even after I told him the truth, he still loved me. And he loved you as if you were his daughter. Yes I admit that I lied to you, but I didn't want you to find out who you're father was, so you wouldn't think that since he did awful things that means that you're like him. Please, Mija, I was only trying to protect you."

Luz wipes away the tears from her face and asks, "Then who is he? What did he do that was so bad that you all ties with my real father?"

Camila wipes away the tears on her face as well and answers, "What he did, i-i-it's something that I can't talk about. As for who he is. . ." Camila walks over to Luz and kneels on her right leg and looks at her daughter in her eyes and says, "Luz there is a reason why I never told you about you're, he lives in a far different world from you, and, I. Even if you know his name, he won't," Camila sighs in possible defeat. "He never wrote back to me in the last- - -"

PECK!

PECK!

PECK!

Both Camila and Luz hears the sound of pecking from somewhere and were immediately confused at the sudden sound of pecking. They turned their heads around the kitchen and allowed their eyes to wander around, hoping to find the cause of the sound. Luz's eyes stop almost immediately when she sees an owl with a scroll around its neck standing on the kitchen window sill. Luz looks confused at the owl and walks over to the window. Camila turns her head and sees the owl and gasps in shock. Luz opens the window and takes the scroll from the neck. Luz then says to the owl in a happy-ish tone, "Thank you." With that, the owl flies away. Luz then turns her attention to the scroll and unrolls it to see the writing on the scroll. She then begins to read what is written on the scroll, "Dear Ms. Noceda, we are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to be the first American Witch to attend Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Witchcraft. . ."
