The three chipmunks were fast asleep, in their separate beds. It was midnight, and it was gloomy and dark outside of the windows of their room. The moon was bright, and the stars were showing beautifully.

The older chipmunks, Alvin and Simon - had watched a scary movie before they went to bed. It was a horror movie of some wolves, attacking people in their sleep. Something like that - but the oldest blue-clad chipmunk couldn't care less, he was mature enough to know that it just wasn't real. Just a horror film to entertain people.

But it really did a number on the younger red-clad chipmunk, who feared that wolves would attack them when they were asleep. His older brunette brother reassured him that it won't happen.

But back to the reality, the oldest chipmunk, Simon - was in a deep, nice calm sleep.

That was until he was hearing something - coming from his right side. It sounded like almost sobbing, or harsh breathing. Simon was always a light sleeper, sounds like that is going to wake him up.

He glanced slowly to his right side and saw his younger brother's red bed, but he still didn't know where the sound came from because he couldn't see. His reached to his bedside table and grabbed his blue glasses and quickly put them on. Then he again glanced at where the sobbing sound was coming from and he ended up staring at Alvin's red bed.

Concerned and scared why he was crying, he called. "Alvin?" He whispered softly to his younger brother.

The auburn-haired chipmunk flinched when he heard a voice, but he saw it was just his older brother. "Oh.. Simon - It's just you…" he squeaked, tears evident falling down his temples and reached his pillow.

"Alvin- Alvin what's wrong, bro?" Simon whispered worriedly, as he made himself over to his brother's bed and sat.

Alvin felt more tears at the rim of his eyes, and a few was falling down his cheeks. He then sniffled and sobbed, and whimpered. "W-w- wolves…" he squeaked.

Simon frowned, his brother must've had a nightmare. God, he should've known to not let his brother watch that kind of stuff! Now here he is, literally trembling inside his blankets and crying.

"It's okay." Simon found himself speaking, and reached a hand over to ruffle his younger brother's auburn hair. "Wolves won't come here." No matter if Alvin was the middle child and Theodore was the youngest, he still needed his older brother to be there for him.

"Y-you sure? C-cos I swear I just saw some.." Alvin whispered, pulling his blankets close to him.

Simon smiled sheepishly, "That was just your nightmare hallucinating you." He chuckled quietly. "Wolves won't come here, Alvin. This is exactly the reason why I didn't want us watching a horror film before going to bed. I am really glad Theo didn't end up watching with us, his nervous system would've turned off again. But you saw it, and you can't go to sleep."

Alvin remained quiet throughout what his brother said, and felt like a wimp. But he still felt frightened of the nightmare he had. He swore to himself he would never watch something horror ever before going to bed. The fact in being scared, he didn't want to be alone.

The auburn-haired chipmunk reached up to his older brunette brother's wrist and pulled him close. "Simon.. c-can you please sleep with me?" He asked with his current glossy but sapphire eyes.

Simon felt his heart going warm from that quote. His brother looked so scared, and he literally trusts his older brother to protect him and be with him through anything scary. "Alright." The brunette chipmunk replied. Alvin smiled as Simon went under his covers and lied on to the pillow.
