Chapter 4 everybody! REVIEW and VOTE on the POLL in my profile page! Also, I have an update on the poll! Currently, May is winning on the poll by twice as much as the second most, Serena. I am also only counting most of the reviews for Serena or May as one, since it's obvious from the time gap that they are from the same person. Hope you guys enjoy!
Responses to Reviews:
DGJabberwocky- Personally, I never liked the idea of a harem. I'm sorry but I can guarantee that this story won't be a harem. To me, it's way too unrealistic and it's extremely hard to pull it off.
Akeno himejima 11- It won't be so don't worry.
Enjoy!
"Ready, buddy?" Ash asked Greninja, who nodded and turned towards Blastoise. Ash closed his eyes, standing still. A few seconds passed and nothing occurred. Suddenly, a large wall of water appeared around both Greninja and Ash, covering the two of them.
"Holy shit.." Dawn muttered, amazed at what she was seeing.
"Yep. That's Ash-Greninja for you." Serena replied. Even after seeing the two of them complete the transformation so often, she was still fascinated by it.
Brock laughed in amazement, seeing such an incredible sight in front of him.
Eventually, the water disappeared around both of them. Greninja appeared in his new form, with the bright blue Shuriken on his back and a red spike covering his head and stretching across it.
Gary took the opportunity to try and catch Ash and Greninja off guard.
"Blastoise, hit him with Hydro Pump!" Gary yelled out the first order, confident that his best Pokémon would defeat Greninja.
"Greninja, double team." Ash ordered the simple command.
Copies of Greninja appeared across the battlefield. Blastoise aimed a Hydro Pump from his two cannons, the two steams of water hitting two Greninja's. Unfortunately for Gary, the two Greninja's it hit were both copies.
"Water Shuriken."
"Rapid Spin to deflect it!" Gary countered.
Greninja formed a small water shuriken from its hands before throwing it towards the opposing Pokémon. At the last second, Blastoise was able to retreat in its shell and spin quickly. The shuriken made contact with the shell, exploding upon impact.
Gary smirked cockily as Blastoise appeared from his shell, unscathed due to rapid spin. However, Blastoise was hit suddenly by Greninja, who slashed across his body and faced Blastoise once again.
Gary's face revealed how confused he was, due to Greninja attacked without being ordered to. Blastoise grunted in pain, continuing to stand. Gary cursed silently, gritting his teeth once he realized what occurred. Ash had explained that he was able to communicate with Greninja silently in this new form. Ash most likely told Greninja to use Night Slash once Blastoise got out of his shell. Smart.
"Blastoise, use Ice Beam!"
Blastoise fired a long stream of ice from his mouth, heading towards Greninja quickly. Surprisingly, Ash didn't issue a command, watching as the Ice Beam got closer and closer. Finally, Ash issued a simple command.
"Take it."
His command made the spectators open their mouths in confusion and doubt. However, they were amazed as they saw Greninja cross his arms, taking the brunt of the Ice Beam. After a few seconds of the Ice Beam, Greninja ripped his arms forward, cutting off the ice move completely.
Greninja stood crouched now, appearing completely fine from the attack.
"What the hell?! How?" Gary questioned out loud. Ash merely laughed, Greninja remaining crouched in a ready position.
"Gary, please. Greninja is one of my strongest Pokémon. I mean, you were the one who said you saw him at the Tournament. You should know what he's capable of." Ash said before issuing a command to Greninja.
"Greninja, use smoke screen."
"Shit, stay on guard Blastoise. He's coming!" Gary said, panicking seeping through his voice.
A black cloud of smoke appeared, blinding both trainers and Blastoise. Blastoise began to turn around, attempting to locate Greninja.
"Bombard him with Night Slash and Cut." Ash ordered, knowing that Blastoise was almost defenseless in the cloud of smoke.
"Watch out Blastoise!"
Greninja appeared around Blastoise, slashing his body with Night Slash and Cut. Blastoise roared in pain, swinging blindly and firing off water type moves such as Hydro Pump to hit Greninja. Greninja was too quick, however, striking Blastoise and moving out of his sight before hitting him again only a second later.
Eventually, the cloud of smoke cleared naturally. When it did, Greninja jumped away from Blastoise untouched. In front of him, Blastoise was bruised heavily, panting in exhaustion and pain. "Damn, he's doing some real damage on Blastoise. Greninja looks like it hasn't even broken as sweat." Gary thought, analyzing the situation.
"End it Greninja. Water Pulse into Shadow Sneak!" Ash yelled.
"Counter with Hyper Beam, overpower it!" Gary commanded his starter Pokémon.
Greninja sent out a Water Pulse, which headed towards Blastoise. After Greninja sent out his attack, Blastoise fired a powerful Hyper Beam from his mouth. The two attacks collided, creating a large explosion. Neither attack overpowered the other. Serena, Dawn, and Brock gasped in surprise, seeing an average move like Water Pulse be able to stop a Hyper Beam.
Gary cursed, knowing how screwed he was. The Pokémon Researcher had been betting on the possibility of the Hyper Beam overpowering the Water Pulse and hitting Greninja. Unfortunately, it didn't do anything near that. Now, Blastoise had to recharge before he could move again or attack.
Blastoise was defenseless as Greninja appeared out of nowhere behind the Kanto Pokémon. It struck past Blastoise using Shadow Sneak, landing several feet away from him while facing the opposite direction.
It was quiet for a few seconds, no one moving until Blastoise groaned loudly, before face planting onto the grass. Greninja stood straight, walking back towards Ash and bowing to Gary in respect.
"Blastoise is unable to continue. The winner is Ash!" Brock said, with Serena and Dawn clapping and complimenting Ash.
"You did great, thank you my friend." Ash told Greninja, patting him on his shoulder. Greninja nodded, smiling slightly.
Gary returned Blastoise, thanking him before. The group reconvened, speaking excitedly about the battle. Serena and Dawn made comments about how fascinated they were, while Ash responded to them. Gary looked over Greninja, checking over his physical aspects. This continued for about thirty seconds until they heard a girl's voice.
"Impressive, Ash. I heard you missed me on TV." A brown-haired girl said, walking towards the group. Ash's jaw dropped, seeing who the girl speaking was.
"Hi May, it's been so long!" Dawn said, with the rest of the group greeting her as they saw her approach the group.
She looked absolutely stunning, Ash thought as he admired her appearance. The Pokemon Coordinator had her Hoenn outfit on, consisting of a red and black shirt, with tight black gym shorts that hugged her legs tightly, showing them off. Like Dawn, her body had developed over the years. She had an hourglass figure, with her breasts having grown to an impressive size, along with her backside now being more complete.
Simply put, May's beautiful appearance definitely made almost every guy drool. May looked at Ash, smiling brightly as she approached him first.
"I was beginning to think you wouldn't show up." Ash replied, hugging the brunette tightly. May returned the hug, rested her head against the taller boy's chest. During their hug, May also took the time to admire Ash. The boy she once knew was now a young man. He looked better looking then he had when they previously saw each other in Sinnoh. The boy had grown a few inches and was more built than he previously was.
The two held their hug for maybe a little too long, earning a few questioning looks from the group. The two separated, smiling at each other. May then greeted everyone with a wave, before returning her attention to Ash.
"So, I saw the Princess of Hoenn won the Grand Festival this year."
"Funny, I heard that my favorite trainer won the Kalos League this year as well." May responded, looking up at the taller boy.
The two peered into each other's eyes, sharing a moment before they were interrupted by a forceful cough. It stemmed from Serena, who wore a fake smile on her face as she held her hand out to May.
"I don't think we've met before. I'm Serena. I traveled with Ash through Kalos." Serena said kindly. While she was jealous of the two of them sharing a moment, she didn't just interrupt them because of her jealousy. Well, mostly not. The Pokemon Performer generally had an interest in meeting May and getting to know her. She had heard a lot of good things about her from Ash and Brock when they spoke briefly.
"You're Serena?" May said disbelievingly, before continuing. "I've heard so much about you from Ash. You're so pretty also!" May complimented the blonde.
"Thank you but I wish I looked like you. Seriously, you look even better in person than you do on TV" Serena replied, getting along with May quickly. Serena and May both had the feeling that they would become close friends.
"What are you girls doing? You guys might as well kiss already judging from how you're talking about each other.." Gary muttered, though his comment didn't go unheard.
The two girls growled at him, with Gary backing up with his hands raised. Brock, Ash, and Dawn just chucked at this, not willing to interfere with the beatdown Gary could possibly receive. Having been distracted from May's entrance, Ash then realized who had accompanied her.
"Oh, hey Max! How are you doing buddy?"
Max looked almost exactly the same as he did in Hoenn. The only difference was the boy had grown a few inches but was still significantly shorter than Ash. However, he was only a few inches shorter than May now, who just had a head above the young trainer now.
"Great Ash. Except for when I didn't hear my name brought up in your speech! Max said angrily, pointing a finger towards the trainer.
The whole group made an "Oooo" sound with the exception of Ash, hearing how the boy had been excluded from the trainer's speech.
"Sorry, Max. I should have thanked you as well. How about to make up for it, we battle tomorrow?"
Max's face brightened immediately, agreeing to the proposal without a second thought.
The group continued to chat until Ash was called into Oak's Research Lab, following Gary inside the lab. The group stayed behind, returning back to Ash's house to relax and talk. Ash had recommended this, since he knew he would most likely be at the lab for a while.
Ash and Gary walked inside the lab, walking through the building and past assistants until they reached the large room that Professor Oak was in. It was a white room filled with desks, computers, and a few machines that Ash didn't have the slightest idea what they were used for.
"Oh, hello Ash. It's good to see you, my boy!" Professor Oak said, shaking hands respectfully with Ash.
"Likewise, Professor. I assume you wanted to take a look at Greninja?"
"I did, if that's alright with you. That Greninja of yours is truly special. I believe that he may be your strongest Pokémon. Would you agree?"
Ash did not have the time to respond, since Gary began speaking.
"Tell me about it. That Greninja just whooped my ass in less than five minutes. I've never seen anything like it." Gary said, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Language, Gary." Oak scolded his grandson, who muttered a quiet apology.
Ash released Greninja once again from his ball, letting Professor Oak take pictures and analyze his appearance. This continued on for a few minutes before the Researcher began to ask Ash some more questions.
"Gary had already told me some of the basic details, such as that this form isn't mega evolution. What is it then? Gary mentioned something called the Bond Phenomenon."
"Well, I was told in Kalos by a few people including Professor Sycamore that we were able to achieve this form due to our bond. Our bond is extremely close and trusting towards each other. The only Pokemon who I'm closer with is Pikachu." Ash explained, with Pikachu pumping his small fist in the air in celebration.
"Pika!"
"Hmmm, I see. I also heard that you experience the pain that Greninja feels. Can you explain this in detail?" Professor Oak asked once again, now holding a small notebook and a pen to take notes.
"I'll try my best, Professor. Once we undergo the transformation, it feels like our body is one. It's hard to explain, but I'm able to see flashes of what Greninja is seeing. I'm able to feel what he's feeling better than seeing. I can feel his basic emotions such as anger or his determination. As for the pain, I can definitely feel that one. Due to the bond, we both share the pain that is inflicted on him. While his form is enhanced and he becomes stronger, it's also a danger to me if Greninja receives too much pain. There's only been once where I was seriously hurt from it."
Professor Oak and Gary both wrote down notes furiously for a minute after Ash finished. The two then looked up, continuing to study Greninja. Greninja appeared slight uncomfortable at the attention but remained still. After a couple more minutes, Professor Oak spoke.
"Thank you, Ash. This was extremely helpful. All the other Professors and researchers around the world have been wanting to know about Greninja and his form. I'm sorry to pester you with this, but is it ok if Greninja stays here until tomorrow morning? I would still like to run a few tests on him to get to know it better."
"It's up to Greninja. Is that ok buddy?" Ash asked, standing in front of Greninja. The water type Pokemon stood as tall as Ash, looking towards the ground in thought. Eventually it looked back at Ash and nodded.
"Thanks, Greninja. I'll pick you back up tomorrow morning as soon as I can. Great job today. The Professor will take real good care of you." Ash said while patting Greninja's shoulder, before waving goodbye to Professor Oak. Gary and Ash exited the lab, both walking back to Ash's house with the sun now down. It was now nighttime and party lights flashed through the windows at Ash's house. It looked like the celebration party had already started.
8:30 PM.
Ketchum Residence
Ash was the one who opened the front door. Upon entering, it looked like shit had hit the fan! Gary and Ash's mouths opened, their heads moving side to side due to scanning the house. Everyone was dancing, simply talking, or drinking at the tables. While mostly everyone had an alcoholic beverage, there were a few obvious exceptions of people who weren't drinking, such as those who were underage like Max.
Besides, Max was sitting alone on his phone, due to the party being a lot more adultlike rather than for children. 'Poor kid.' Ash thought as he and Gary stepped inside.
Ash also took notice of the large number of people who were there. While everyone from the original group at the Ranch was there, there were quite a lot of new faces.
Cilan and Iris were sitting at the kitchen counter. The two looked completely sober, with Iris explaining something pretty animatedly while Cilas sighed in acceptance. The two also looked pretty close to each other to be considered friends. Iris had her hand on Cilas's with the two sitting very closely.
Tracey, one of Ash's former friends who travelled with him and Misty through the Orange Islands, was attempting to strike a conversation with Misty. Misty appeared very uninterested, looking away at anything and anyone but Tracey. Tracey didn't seem to notice this, however, continuing to talk to the red head.
Serena and Shauna were dancing together in the living room with the music blasting through the house. The two looked like they were having a good time. It was clear they had both been drinking at least a little, due to them constantly giggling and swinging around the room.
Dawn and May were also dancing, but definitely more intoxicated than the others. They were hugging each other and laughing loudly, both struggling to stand straight. It was clear that they had too much to drink.
Meanwhile, Brock was running around the house, throwing away bottles and making sure nothing was destroyed. The oldest of the group looked stressed, watching over the group of teenagers and making sure nobody was going to die. Definitely an exaggeration, but you never know with May and Dawn looking like they would fall flat on their face at any second.
"My mom is going to kill me." Ash whispered. Gary laughed at this before clapping Ash's back.
"Relax man! Didn't your mom say she was staying at a friend's house tonight? That's just because she didn't want to get in the way of this party!"
Ash shrugged, raising his eyebrow at Gary's response. It actually kind of made sense. It was a rarity for Gary to possibly be right about something like this. Everyone knew Gary's common sense had an obsession with leaving him at times when he needed it the most.
The two of them walked into the living room, grabbing their glass and starting to take shots. This continued for a few minutes until a certain brunette approached Ash.
"I didn't realize you were back! I missed you soooo much." May told Ash, her words slurring as she hugged the trainer's arm affectionately.
"Um, missed you too?" The Kalos League winner replied uncomfortably.
"Arceus, you're so lucky…" Gary muttered, jealous of the attention his friend was receiving from the Coordinator.
Brock suddenly appeared in front of the trio, panting heavily in exhaustion. After a few seconds of Brock leaning downwards with his hands on his knees, the gym leader straightened up.
"Why did you guys take so long? I've been running around this whole place trying to keep everyone in check. This house is a mess!"
"Listen, I just got here-"
"Sorry, Brock. Ash is a little busy right now. Come back later?" May said as she was now kissing Ash's cheek slowly. Gary sighed at this, taking another shot while Brock opened his mouth in astonishment. Recognizing that May was a lot more intoxicated than he was, Ash gently pulled the brunette away from his face to the disappointment of her.
"Whatever. We wanted to wait for you to start your celebration party, but I guess things got a little out of control." Brock stated, scanning the room once again.
"Clearly." Ash said, with May drinking a nearby seltzer can she saw on the counter. Brock quickly grabbed the can she was drinking and threw it in the trash can.
"Alright well, since Ash is here now, how about we turn this party up?" Gary asked, not waiting for a response. Ash's former rival walked to a wooden table, picking up a microphone that was connected to Ash's stereo.
"Where the hell did he even get that…" Ash said, with Brock shrugging and May still latched onto Ash. The black haire teenager groaned, knowing this party was about to get a lot more chaotic.
