The group gasped in shock at what Ash said. Ash simply rolled his eyes at their over dramatic reaction, before attempting to step around Gary.

Gary stepped sideways, once again blocking Ash from the front door. Ash groaned, not willing to forcefully remove his friend from his path.

"Ash, we can't let you go out there! It's too dangerous!" May exclaimed to the trainer.

"Besides, it's three Legendary Pokémon. What are you going to do against it, Ash?" Gary asked, not confident in Ash's ability to defeat Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. It was understandable, considering they were Legendary for a reason.

"Listen, I'm going-" Ash started before he was interrupted.

"Just think first, Ash. Before you run in there and get yourself hurt." Brock said

"If I can-"

It was Serena this time who interrupted Ash. "Ash, we all care about you. Can't you just listen to us?"

"I swear to fu-"

"Let the Professionals handle it." Dawn interrupted again, crossing her arms in a determined manner.

"Holy shit, can you let Ash talk?! Damn!" Shauna shouted, making everyone jump up frighteningly.

The brunette had barely spoken the entire morning, up until she just yelled. Her outburst completely scared the group. Serena was shocked as well, considering Shauna rarely shouted or lost her temper. The group muttered apologies, embarrassed after realizing that they were being completely unfair to Ash.

"Thank you, Shauna. Seriously, you guys are suffocating! If I can explain my plan, then this would be a lot easier! So, for the love of Arceus, can I please speak?" Ash said, glaring at the group with the exception of Shauna.

The group all nodded embarrassed, letting Ash continue. Ash released a deep breath, with his eyes closed before opening them as he spoke.

"I'm going to get my strongest Pokémon at Professor Oak's Lab. No matter what you guys do or say, you won't be able to stop me from going to Viridian City. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself, especially with my strongest Pokemon. Now, please move Gary." Ash told the group, motioning Gary to move away from the door.

The group reluctantly accepted that Ash wasn't wrong. They couldn't stop him forcefully. However, Gary didn't accept this.

"Nope. We're not going to let you get hurt." Gary shook his head, refusing to budge.

"Pikachu!" Ash called, waiting a few seconds as he and the group looked around. Eventually, Pikachu ran into the room, jumping onto Ash's shoulder.

"If Gary doesn't move away from the door in five seconds, I want you to give him the biggest shock you can, buddy."

Gary's face grew pale, realizing why Ash had called Pikachu over. The group was shocked as well, seeing Pikachu nod at the order. Pikachu began to crackle with electricity, his tail absorbing electricity as he charged up his attack. After three seconds, Gary had come to his senses and realized that his actions weren't worth the risk.

"Alright alright!" Gary yelled, yielding to Ash as he moved out of the way. Immediately, Ash forced his way through the front door, the entire group following Ash out of the house.

"Talonflame, take me to Professor Oak's Lab up ahead." Ash told the Kalos Pokémon, who screeched in agreement.

The group watched as Ash took off, flying on top of his Pokémon to Professor Oak's. Attempting to keep up, they jogged in the same direction. Meanwhile, Max was still sleeping peacefully at the Ketchum Residence.

"Yeah, I just need him, Professor. If you can get his pokeball, that would be great thank you." Ash told the elder in front of him. Professor Oak reluctantly nodded before disappearing into one of his rooms. After a minute, Oak had returned with a pokeball.

Before handing it to Ash, Professor Oak had a few words to share.

"I know I can't stop you from going there. However, I only ask one thing. Be careful and don't be too rash." Oak said sternly, his voice carrying concern. Ash agreed, taking the pokeball from him and shaking the older man's hand.

"I will. Thank you, Professor." Ash said before exiting the Laboratory. Ash walked outside, all six of his most powerful Pokemon on his belt, or on his shoulder. It was once Ash had exited the building that the group arrived, panting tiredly from the run.

"We're… going with you." Clemont gasped out, attempting to get his breathing under control.

"Not gonna happen. No offense, but your Pokemon aren't strong enough to deal with this. I'm sorry, but it's too dangerous."

"That's BS Ash and you know it! Let us come with you!" Serena pleaded, anger seeping through her voice due to the stubborn nature of Ash.

Ash took off his belt, holding five Pokeballs. The trainer then held it up in one hand, showing it in front of the group.

"The only reason that I am going is because I have my STRONGEST six Pokemon with me. I also know that they're capable of handling Entei, Suicune, and Raikou. Don't follow me."

"Well, can we at least see who you brought?" Gary asked his former rival. Ash sighed, knowing that he was wasting time by the second. He complied, regardless, thinking that it would be the last thing he would have to do before leaving to Viridian City.

Ash tossed every Pokeball, one by one from the belt. Six figures emerged, their appearances taking a second to form due to the blinding light. After a second, the group was able to see who Ash had brought with him.

On the far left stood one of Hoenn's starter Pokemon. It was Sceptile, standing tall and proud, looking past the group. Like always, Sceptile was chewing on his twig.

To the right of Sceptile was a fire type Pokemon. It was the fire type starter from Sinnoh, Infernape. Infernape was crouched on all fours, smirking at the group.

The middle Pokemon stood confidently and straight. Greninja, most likely Ash's strongest Pokemon, appeared serious due to the problem at hand in Viridian City.

On the right of Greninja was a Pokemon that the group hadn't seen in a while. While not as praised as the other Pokemon, Snorlax was an absolute powerhouse. The group awed in amazement at seeing the size of the normal type Pokemon.

Finally, the behemoth of Kanto stood on the far right. This time, the group was absolutely amazed at seeing the fire type Pokemon. Ash's Charizard roared loudly, small wisps of fire appearing from his nostrils. The fire on the back of his tail burned brightly. Charizard also appeared slightly bigger than the last time the group saw him. He was an impressive size for a Charizard, and everyone was well aware of how powerful the Pokemon was.

As always, Pikachu stood on Ash's shoulder determinedly. After showing off his team of six, Ash returned the Pokemon with the exception of Charizard. Ash then mounted on top of Charizard, ready to fly to Viridian City. Walking there would take way too long. By flying there, Ash would be able to make it in less than twenty minutes, due to being in the air and Charizard's impressive speed.

"Alright, I'm leaving for Viridian City. Stay here, it's too dangerous." Ash warned the group, before flying off with Charizard and Pikachu. The group stood still, watching as their figure grew smaller as time passed. After a minute of silence, May spoke.

"So… We're following him, right?"

"Yep." The whole group responded casually.

After fifteen minutes, Charizard was soaring above Viridian City. Right away, the trio could see the damage caused by the Legendary Pokemon. The streets were a mess, with cars tossed aside and glass broken everywhere. Several buildings had gaping holes in them, most likely due to the attacks of the dogs. Ash could only see a few people outside in the city, with the majority of them standing outside of their houses or running to take.

While looking throughout the city, Ash was only able to spot one Legendary Pokemon. Entei was still running rampant, setting everything it could ablaze. The roars it made echoed throughout the city, striking fear into the hearts of many.

A Helicopter flew in circles around the city. It was most likely operated by a News Company, such as the one Isa Gomez is employed by. While it was difficult to see due to the distance separating them, Ash was able to spot a cameraman on the side of the open helicopter, along with a young woman who held a microphone. That woman looked to be Isa Gomez, the news reporter the group had seen earlier.

"Alright Charizard, land near Entei but not too close. We have to subdue him, but we can't hurt him too badly. We don't know why they're acting like this." Ash said out loud. Charizard grunted in response, the trio declining as Charizard prepared to land.

"Pika Pi"

"I know, but we outnumber each Legendary by two Pokemon each. You're right though. We do have to watch out for Raikou and Suicune."

Charizard landed onto the stone pavement softly, flapping his wings forcefully to slow their descent. Ash hopped off along with Pikachu, peering through the city. About two hundred yards away, they saw Entei still behaving abnormally.

"Thanks for your help buddy. I'll need you soon though, so be ready." Ash told Charizard, returning him to his Pokeball shortly after. The trainer then releases two more Pokemon. Infernape and Sceptile appeared, remaining quiet to hear their trainer's orders.

"Sceptile and Infernape. I need you guys to go through the entire city. Help people and pokemon who need it. If you find somebody, take them to safety, preferably a hospital if you can. AVOID fighting with the Legendries! They'll only slow you down, and we need to make sure that people are safe. Got it?" Ash questioned, knowing that Sceptile and Infernape would understand their mission.

The two nodded determinedly, before setting off to complete their mission. Ash knew that protecting the others was more important at the moment that stopping the Legendary Pokemon. Isa Gomez did say that there were a number of wounded people in Viridian City. If Ash could help at least a little, he was happy with it.

Ash and Pikachu looked at Entei, seeing the destruction it was causing. Entei roared loudly, his eyes looking very unusual. They were glowing red, his face consumed with rage. After a moment, Entei looked down the street, appearing to see Ash and Pikachu. Suddenly, Entei began sprinting towards the two, baring its teeth.

"Shit.." Ash muttered, seeing the fire type Legendary sprinting towards them and cutting off the distance between them. Pikachu jumped off Ash's shoulder, standing in front of Ash defensively as he crackled with electricity.

While Ash knew that Pikachu could handle Entei, there was no point in having Pikachu fight alone. Especially when Ash had more Pokemon to aid him.

"Prepare for battle, Snorlax!"

Snorlax appeared next to Pikachu, standing up rather than his usual sitting position. Snorlax knew that this was an extremely important situation, due to the severity of it. When lives were at stake, Snorlax's usual lazy attitude completely diminished.

Entei didn't stop, jumping in the air and baring its teeth. His mouth and teeth were covered with fire, most likely preparing to use Fire Fang on Snorlax. It was only a few feet away from Snorlax's face when Ash spoke.

"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt to stop him!"

Pikachu jumped in the air, sending out a Thunderbolt towards the airborne Entei. Entei was struck by the bolt of electricity, sending him tumbling through the ground. Entei tumbled through the street until he hit a parked car, stopping him. Immediately after stopping, the Fire Type rose.

Entei looked even more angry then before, his eyes glowing red as he stared down Ash, Pikachu, and Snorlax.

"Pi Pika pi"

"Yeah, I don't have the feeling he wants to be friends right now Pikachu."

"Ok, I don't have any flying types to get there. Does anyone?" Brock said, being the leader of the group since he was the oldest and most mature. At least the most mature when he was being a pervert, chasing around women he found attractive.

Every member of the group said "no", disappointed in themselves for not having a Pokemon that could fly the group. There were two exceptions, being Gary and Shauna.

"I have a Skarmory and Fearow. I suppose Skarmory can take two people while Fearow is big enough to take three."

"Ok, that's good, Gary. There's eight of us though, so we need at least one more Pokemon." Brock advised, looking over the group.

It was Shauna who stepped forward, holding a Pokeball in her hand. "I have a Talonflame. He's big enough to take three. We're going to get there a lot later than Ash though, since it'll be difficult for our Pokemon to deal with all the weight."

"I agree. But we need to go, now. Ash could be getting into some deep shit right now." May commented, getting on top of the Talonflame, with Serena and Dawn following their lead. Gary and Brock got on top of Gary's Skarmory. Finally, Clemont, Shauna, and Misty got on top of Talonflame, who struggled a bit but was capable of carrying three people. It was a slightly bigger than average Talonflame.

The group took flight, heading on their way to Viridian City.

In Talonflame's group, the group seemed to be quiet for the majority of the ride. After about ten minutes, however, Shauna broke the silence by whispering to Clemont. Misty was unable to hear the two speak, since they were whispering to each other. However, she lacked the interest to care about what the two were talking about, since she wasn't close with either one.

"Are you going to tell Serena?" Shauna asked, whispering into Clemont's ear nervously.

Clemont turned his head slightly, confused at the sudden and random question. His mind played back last night, though, suddenly remembering Shauna and Ash kissing on the couch.

"About what?" Clemont questioned, playing dumb to the question.

Shauna bit her lip, debating whether she should bring up the events of the previous night.

"Y-you know… Ash and I kissing…"

Clemont sighed quietly before responding. "Shauna, it's not my place to tell her. I wont tell her, unless she asks me directly. Didn't you know that she liked Ash?"

"Yes, of course I knew-"

"So why would you kiss the guy she's liked for over a year?"

"I was drunk, and I wasn't thinking!" Shauna shouted, breaking Misty out of her thought as the redhead looked weirdly at the two. Shauna blushed at the attention, before whispering once again to Clemont.

"I had too much to drink, and I couldn't control myself. Obviously, Ash is good looking and almost every girl dreams of a guy like him. I've always thought about kissing him, but I swear I've never tried to act on it. Up until last night." Shauna stated, looking down as she was disappointed in herself. Clemont rubbed the back of his head, annoyed at the whole situation between the three.

"Wait… Do you like Ash?" Clemont asked incredulously, his head widened and mouth open. Shauna quickly denied the statement, shaking her head furiously.

"No! I don't, I swear. I was just stupid last night and let myself act on those thoughts that I've had about him. It was a mistake."

"Shauna, you messed up badly. If I was Serena, I would be pissed. You're her best friend. Who kissed the guy she loves."

"I know Clemont. You think I don't know that. I feel like a horrible person."

"I just hope she doesn't find out. It would break her." Clemont responded sadly.

"Well, it would break her even more if she found out I kept it away from her or lied to her about it. I'll tell her soon. I promise. I just need some time." Shauna pleaded. Clemont nodded, the two of them going silent as they came closer to the city by the second.
