"As I can see, you two work really hard defending Paris, but also balancing both of your lives which is why I have decided to grant you both a holiday together on a private cruise for a month."

Lila let out an evil smirk after hearing this from her 'snooping spot' near an alley way. If this was true, that Ladybug and Cat Noir were going away for a month, then she could use this to gain something from Hawk Moth.

"Uh. . ." The unknown man stuttered. "Y-yes. Together. But you will be allowed to take four more of your superhero friends with you."

Well this'll make it easy! The evil apprentice pondered.

"The cruise has six bedrooms, all with high-quality locks. You are to be transformed at any time and anywhere on that cruise, with the exception of your bedrooms. Only are you to be in your civilian form in your bedrooms with the door locked. Is that clear?"

Not easy, but there was a way to make them reveal their identities and this, Hawk Moth should know.

Lila's plan was perfect! All nicely organised and well-done. The only problem was how she would contact Hawk Moth.

Thinking about it long and hard, Lila figured that she could take a wild and risky guess that Gabriel Agreste was Hawk Moth. But it all made sense! Gabriel always kept to himself, even from his own son, and was always busy doing something. He was always sketchy, like the time he had asked her to keep Marinette away from Adrien. He had done it under-cover so no one could possibly know anything was even happening between them. There had to be practice behind that!

If she went to the Agreste mansion and asked him personal questions such as if he had another evil identity, he would get defensive and push her away. So if she offered him something first, he would surely agree to let her in on his secret.

But there was always the chance that he wasn't Hawk Moth, which was a risk because she would be letting him know that she has been helping Paris' most wanted villain the entire time. Gabriel would call the cops on her if he knew such a thing.

But Lila had to take this risk. If she was able to go on this trip with Hawk Moth's enemies, she could un-cover thousands of secrets! Then he would give her something to repay her like more power to get back at Marinette. And a bonus if Hawky was Gabriel Agreste, she would get Adrien as well.

Lila would do it and take that chance. She had to.

With a confident inhale, Lila rang the Agreste Mansion doorbell. The 14-year-old girl may have assumed it would be high-tech and bold, but she didn't expect the circular camera to come out of the wall and in her face.

"Who is it?" Nathalie, Gabriel Agreste's assistant, spoke from afar.

"Lila Rossi, I have important news for Gabriel." Lila's head was held high.

There was a moment of hesitation from the robot, but the huge, metal gates welcomed her in shortly after.

Step one: completed.

Lila stepped in the front door. The giant, fancy, expensive front door. Nathalie greeted her with the help of a soundless bodyguard who walked her to Mr. Agreste's office.

After an awkward knock from Nathalie, Gabriel uttered an annoyed welcome. "Come in."

Gabriel had his back turned behind his desk, looking at the portrait of a young, blonde female.

"Sir," The assistant shuffled. "Lila Rossi has come to see you. She says she has…important information for you."

Gabriel turned to face them with an arched brow. "Hm"

Hook, line and sinker!

"Nathalie, you're excused."

"Yes sir." And with a bow, Nathalie disappeared out the door.

"What is it you wanted to talk to me about, Miss Lila?"

"Well, you see, I was just wandering the streets when I came to an alley-way with Paris' two favourite heroes and a mysterious old man. They were speaking about something far beyond exciting."

"And what would that be?"

"Before I tell you that, I need to know one thing." Lila paused for a moment of suspense. "Are you Hawk Moth?"

The older Agreste looked almost gobsmacked. If he thought anyone was to figure out he was the city's most wanted villain, he'd never expected it to be Lila. And what was he to do now? Why did she want to know? If he didn't tell her, he might never find out this 'important information'.

"Why would you think that?"

"That doesn't matter. Just answer the question or you won't hold the information to find out Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities and all their other little secrets."

This got Gabriel thinking. This could be it! This could be the battle where he would finally win! The puzzle piece he was missing this whole time was Lila!

"Yes, I'm Hawk Moth. Now tell me!" If Gabriel were a nine-year-old, he would be jumping up and down giddily as if he's just won a box full of chocolates at the fairgrounds.

"I'm not sure who that mysterious old man was, but Ladybug called him 'Master', and this 'Master' had bought them a fully paid trip on a private, luxury cruise for one month."

"I see. . ."

"So if I could get on that boat with them, I would come back to you with some very interesting news."

"But what would you want in return?"

"Honestly, at first I just wanted to see the look on Ladybug's face when she's lost. So that she feels the pain that I felt. But now that I know you're Gabriel Agreste, it would be great if I could get a date with Adrien."

Gabriel thought about this for a moment. I can't miss this opportunity, but at the cost of my own son being in custody of someone pure evil?! Eh, who cares.

"Deal"
