The arcobalenos still sitting in the kitchen were startled as well when they heard the loud bang from Lals landing and her strong curse words.

Reborn had already been on his feet, gun in hand and Colonello almost out of the room when Yuni spoke up "All is well. Lal is just surprised. Just sit down again they will be here soon" she said, still giddy from the excitement of finally being able to meet Violet.

The adult arcobalenos just exchanged glances, maybe there was more to it than they had thought.

Lal in the meantime still tried to understand what was going on. Her first thought was that an intruder had come in but it didn't make sense, she truly only looked away for a few seconds.

She tried to calm her mind and Yunis' words flooded her brain and she concentrated on the flames in front of her. It really was Skull. She didn't understand how but this truly was Skull. Flames could not lie.

Violet herself was still trembling, way too nervous and the pants she had worn before had fallen down, only leaving her with the now way too oversized T-shirt from Colonello. While before it had fitted passably it now reached her knees.

"In the bag wasn't by chance underwear? I don't really want to go down without a bra." her voice was barely loud enough to make out, too afraid of Lal's reaction. Her vocal cords had morphed back as well, finally being rid of the high pitched, screeching voice.

Lal was still staring but her hands automatically lifted, the underwear presented towards Violet.

Violet tapsed towards her and meekly took it from Lal and quickly hushed back in the bathroom to put it on.

She tried to tame her wild red hair a bit, when she looked in the mirror, naturally not succeeding because of her having inherited her fathers uncontrollable curls. No hair product she had ever gotten had achieved any results and brushing it now would give her some kind of an afro instead of a presentable hairstyle.

Lal herself was still staring at the woman, not really able to figure out what happened and an incoherent noise escaped her mouth.

Violet just faltered "Maybe this was a bad idea. I.. I should change back, right? We.. we can just forget this, right?" she stuttered out and finally broke Lal out of her static state.

"No. In no way will I shoulder this alone but… How?"she gritted out and deeply wished for any kind of alcohol or for the world to make sense again.

How had she never noticed? How did it even make sense that Skull who had been over two meters turned into this tiny barely passing 1,50m and frail girl. Where had Skull even hid all of this hair? Or the boobs? The curves? Nothing made sense!

"It's a passed down talent in my family from my fathers mother… I just… I… are you sure we really can't forget this ever happened?" almost hopeful she said, fidgeting with the curls that fell over her eye.

"No way in hell." Lal stated firmly, slowly collecting herself but not letting Skull out of her sight and still grounding herself with the feel of his flames.

"I… will go down first to make sure they don't shoot you and… alcohol I need alcohol and a camera… definitely a camera."

The reason Yuni had chosen Lal was not just because of her being a woman but for the former rain's ability to compose herself that quickly. Being a highly skilled soldier in combat situations did result in a formidable adaptability and not letting her lose her control in stressful situations.

Shocking her that heavily had never ever happened before but nevertheless she was able to remain calm in a sense and have her mind working to a degree.

"I will drag you down if you don't come in a maximum of two minutes." she said, still looking at Skull's new appearance while strutting out of the room, quickly arriving in the kitchen.

"Yuni." she gritted out.

The sky just smiled brightly "Stunning, right?"

Lal just breathed out harshly and quickly made her way to the alcohol cabinet, pulling out the first bottle she found and taking a huge sip, emptying one quarter straight away, not even bothering with a glass.

"Lal?" Colonello gingerly addressed her.

"Don't mind me, I'm still trying to not have a breakdown." she pressed out and earned quite a few raised eyebrows.

"Don't shoot. It is Skull I swear. just focus on hi…. Skulls flames." she quickly stopped before she could say his. This wouldn't do anymore. Trying to get over that she quickly took another sip.

"It can't be that bad, can it?" Fon asked, wondering what made the normally so collected Lal act out like this.

Verde didn't say anything, pointedly fixing his glasses and giving her a harsh look.

"Oh you have no clue. None at all. I don't even blame Skull for stressing the whole time. It's just… don't shoot. Literally just feel hi… Skulls flames, okay?"

Reborn just proceeded to nurse his espresso but focused on the door, already searching for skulls flames. Not that they were hard to find.

He didn't really get what the fuss was about but he would follow her advice. Normally lal wouldn't stress about something so much so he concluded that she would have her reasons. No matter how stupid they might be.

Colonello tilted his chair back, wobbling on it and distributed his attention between this highly on edge fiancee and the door, feeling for Skulls flames as well.

Everyone did follow Lals advice even though they did wonder why she suddenly took out her phone.

"Blackmail." was her short answer and started to film when she could feel Skulls flame slowly edging closer.

Yuni, still giggling and getting ready to see their reaction for the first time in reality "Skull, no going back now" she yelled out and they could hear a shaky breath being taken before Skull appeared in the door frame.

Colonello, still leaning back on his chair, crashed down.

Verde who had adjusted his glasses, completely broke them with his grip.

Fons smile slipped and his jaw dropped.

Viper dropped the money they had been counting and Reborn choked on his coffee, spitting it across the floor.

Yuni just giggelt happily.

None of them had ever any doubt that this was Skull, they had been so focused on his flame, there was not even an ounce of a chance, even if it still didn't make sense.

"No mist flames" Viper pressed out, not even bothering with picking up her money, too busy staring at their cloud.

Skull meanwhile was panicking hard, she was still trembling and her arms were crossed, nails painfully piercing her skin. Her facial features in a state of complete uncertainty and fear clearly present. Her bright emerald eyes, wide and mirroring every emotion she was feeling.

"Surprise?" she muttered, still stuttering and it came out more wobbly than anything.

Yuni did come to her rescue about the unmoving room and carefully pulled her into the chair next to herself and Fon.

Violet could feel the stares and old feelings about being gapped at starting to surface, they weren't nice once.

"Che diavolo?" Reborn cursed out loudly and just him raising his voice like that resulted in Violet violently flinching and that small motion left everyone speechless.

While they had always been violent with Skull, Skull had never really been scared of them. To be honest the cloud had never been scared of anything physical, the only thing that had always affected him immensely was rejection of people he cared about.

She had to get used to violence and abandonment early on, starting with the Dursleys and the wizarding world had way too often turned their scorn on her.

While Violet had gotten used to it she had never been able to get over her fear of rejection from those close to her. She had always given everything to them and while it often turned into anger when they pushed her away and it had been unreasonable, for example with Ron, it was way different when it truly was because of her and her decisions.

Even when Ron had been angry or jealous he had never once thought of her as a freak or rejected her real nature. This here was different.

Fon forced himself to calm down, while his thoughts were still racing a mile a minute he had to pause, this was their cloud, their cloud that was afraid of them. While the situation was more than unusual and he could fault no one for freaking out, his instincts took priority and nothing could be more of a damper to his temper than when one of his own was scared of him.

He carefully breathed out to collect himself a bit more before slowly leaning a bit forward "Skull? Could you maybe explain the situation?" he focused on his wording and manners, acting like he would with a terrified animal.

Violet truly was scared but she always had been more brave than it was good for her. Courage had never been not having any fear but still pushing through it and so she spoke out, stumbling through the sentences but still forming phrases.

"My fathers mothers family was known to have an ability in their blood, not everyone could access it but for those who could they could change their appearance at will" she paused and her hair quickly transformed back to how she had worn it as Skull, before turning back to her natural one.

She could leave it at that but when she had already started, she had to finish it and at least try to explain why she hid it from them.

"When I was eighteen I… had to get away from my life. I had needed a break and my friends and I had come up with Skull who took up stunt riding. When Checkerface appeared two years later he hadn't been inviting me but Skull so I went as him. At the beginning there was no reason for me to disclose who I was and after the curse hit I had lost control of my ability, leaving me with only being able to change minor things and I was stuck in Skulls body. To be honest I hadn't thought I would ever be able to be me again and so I accepted being only him. I mean none of us had any connections at that time and how would I even explain it at that point. I wouldn't have been able to prove anything and well… It has been 40 years. How would I even have breached it?"

Violet stilled, biting on her still attached lip ring and still piercing her skin with her nails, it kept on healing instantly and the skin broke over and over again.

Fon still letting the explanation sink in, absentmindedly reaching for Skulls hand, to pry it off her arm, not liking the thought of his cloud harming herself like that. Skull did flinch a bit at that but Fon just carefully cradled the hand. Finding it a slight distraction to calm his mind when he focused on how tiny and petite it was in contrast to his own.

The air was still more than tense, everyone still trying to make sense of the situation and their cloud. Colonello had at that time gone back to sitting at the table and true to his rainy nature tried to ease the tension.

After another look at Skull he said the first thing that came to his mind "Never thought that you would be this cute though, kora."

A wild known fact is that a metamorphmagus was influenced by emotions and they often didn't blush normally,

Violet still majorly conflicted and on edge definitely wasn't able to control her abilities at this point and it did break the tension when instead of slightly blushing her whole body turned pink and she hastily tried to cover her face, way too embarrassed about it but no matter the new emotional stage she was in, it did break the tension.

She did use her first chance to bolt through, not that anyone complained. Every last of them needed time to think.
