Violet had woken up earlier as normal, her sleep had been plagued by nightmares and she really couldn't try to get back to bed. Not when memories of her childhood and her time in the wizarding world were haunting her.

She was currently standing in front of her wardrobe, fingering the dressing shirt she had gotten from Reborn.

So far she had not once worn his clothes. She had a healthy respect for him even though she would rather cut herself in pieces than ever publicly admitting to it.

He did mean safety.

His normal behaviour was more sadistic than nice but she had always known and had seen that in the end he would protect every last one of the Arcobalenos. Even when Skull had once been in the middle of a rather unsavoury conflict the sun had shown up, immediately getting rid of the threatening parties. Naturally he had been submitted to Reborns scorn afterward and the cloud had been hassled by him for a long period.

Reborn had said he was a good way to vent frustrations.

Sure, it had often been more cruel than anything but Reborn had always stayed with the conviction that only the Arcobalenos themself were permitted to take turns on the cloud. No one else was.

Skull himself had mostly thought it was because of him setting the Arcobalenos in a tough spot, with one of them being that obvious weak and a target but in the end the whole mafia had let off of him, taken back by the fear of the glooming sun over him. Therefore Reborns clothes did mean safety not in a warm way but in a protected way.

Still could Violet really wear it? Sure he gave it to her but she was conflicted.

She wasn't one for much musing though and finally put it on. It was the same as Colonellos clothes, way too big on her and again she didn't really need pants because it looked more like a dress on her than ever resembling a shirt.

She folded the too long sleeves up to her elbow and tried to get her hair under control, not succeeding and leaving it in a messy bun that spilled more hair than kept it in.

Violet quietly made her way downstairs, slowly preparing breakfast. The radio playing music as always. She wasn't as enthusiastic about it as normally but still started to hum and twirl around a bit as she got lost in her work. Familiar work and situations did make the situation easier and while she was definitely nowhere near as confident as Skull was, her normal level returned a bit.

She didn't even notice it when Fon and Reborn had entered the room. Fon had been first and had just silently watched her out of his seat, still not used to her new appearance but glad that their cloud had gotten a bit of her energy and usual routine back. He still wasn't sure how he really felt about all of this but he couldn't keep the slightly more genuine smile of his face, when he watched her twirl around.

While Skulls oddly feminine and still terribly dancing had always been a bit of a weird sight it did look more fitting on Skull now, oddly adorable to be honest. She was still terrible at it but it definitely warmed his heart.

Reborn had arrived not long after, pausing in the door and taking in their clouds activities as well. His face had returned to his poker face but even when the italian had sat down his eyes didn't stray from Skull.

Fon had to grin at that, the sun always had a slight obsession with their cloud, usually it took a more violent turn but everyone who knew Reborn knew about how much of a gentleman and casanova he was. and Skull definitely wore the sun's shirt which would definitely only further the fixation.

Fon personally had to come to terms with the obvious change and the nagging that the cloud had never trusted them enough to tell them herself. Besides the obvious struggle to understand how he had fallen for it and had never found anything out. He had never treated Skull as harshly as some of the others but he knew that Reborn would have never acted that way towards Skull if he had known. He wasn't outright sexist because of his ability to respect and value a strong female fighter but he did take a gentler hand with them and to weak women? He would have never even lifted a finger.

Skull was a weak woman, no matter her flame strength she had never really learned how to fight and was actually pretty terrible at most things.

Sure, she had been annoying but even then Reborn would have dealt with an annoying girl way differently than what he had done to Skull.

The storm was pretty sure that Reborn felt the same towards the whole situation and while they were more than just adaptable, the way their former relationship had been, probably weighs hard on his consciousness. Colonello would probably be the same.

Just that guy stepped inside and he did have to stop their quiet observation "Yeah, you are definitely way cuter as a woman." he said grinning but Fon could see the glint of something else in his eyes.

Skull herself flinched and hurriedly turned around, taking in the inhabitants of the kitchen and again her skin and hair took on a pink tint.

She hurriedly turned back and hastily sprinted towards the coffee machine to serve Reborns espresso. To her confusion Reborn nodded his head at her in response instead of his normal nagging.

She tried to ignore it and finished the breakfast preparations while the rest of the arcos came to the table.

"La.." Reborn stopped himself with a conflicted shadow on his face before pulling his fedora down again.

Colonnello decided to step in again "Kora, is your name even Skull?"

Violet chewed on her piercing again before shaking her head "My actual name is Violet. Skull de Mort was only my stage name before all of this happened."

That did make him laugh "A cloud named Violet? Isn't that too much of a coincidence?"

"You've got no idea… too much of the flower's meaning as well fits too perfectly. My mothers family had the tradition to name the girls after flowers. My mothers name was Lily and my aunts Petunia for example." she uttered, still nervous but not that much of the stuttering mess she had been yesterday, embracing the bit of normalcy.

"Petunia is a terrible name with the symbolism" Lal threw in.

Violet had to laugh at that "It fits her perfectly though."

A few glances were exchanged at that but before they could get into it Verde spoke up "I have several questions about your ability. It seems to be affection by your emotional state, is that correct?"

"Yeah, it's not uncommon to have changes because of feelings, it's even harder to control it if I'm sad for example."

"Why didn't your experience changes before then?"

"You remember the chain I always had on? It worked as a blocker, hindering accidental morphing. For example, getting a shock can immediately turn me back to my natural state. While I don't have to focus on maintaining a transformation it can accidentally snap, the chain was able to stop that from happening… I can show it to you later if you want."

Verde nodded and was already making notes "Can you transform into anything?"

Violet mustered him for a second, a smirk sneaking on her lips and she closed her eyes for a few seconds and furrowing her brows, her face morphing to an exact copy of Verdes own.

To make it even worse she answered in Verde's own voice "What do you think?"

Before anyone could utter any kind of disgust at seeing Verdes head on a female body she had already turned back, while exchanging ner nose and mouth for a beak.

Verde started to furiously put down notes and she morphed back into her natural appearance, way calmer than before.

"You're literally Leon in human form." Colonello said in astonishment.

She had to think about that for a second "I mean… kinda? Not completely. I have my limits… for example I can't get rid of… special scars"

"Special scars?" Verde interrupted.

"I can't really explain the difference but… for example" she pulled part of her shoulder free "this is a simple burn scar" she proceeded to smooth the skin "But other scars like the snake one on my arm would be impossible to affect in that way."

"You have no idea where the difference lies?" "I mean… I know it but… I just can't tell you. I'm sorry."

"Why not?"

"Because it's a secret I have no choice but to keep.. the consequences would be far from nice."

"Someone is forcing you?"

"No, I mean yeah but no not like you think, like…" she stopped herself took a deep breath and proceeded to answer "It's information that isn't supposed to be revealed to outsiders"

"Are you in a cult?" Reborns smooth voice cut through her more than bad explanations.

She vehemently shook her head "No! Can we just let it rest, please? I would prefer if you didn't get your memories erased." she was still rambling and just earned a few alarmed looks.

"I'm just gonna shut up now" she declared and stuffed pancakes in her mouth
