Violet was chewing on her breakfast when she could hear a familiar tapping on the window. She excitedly jumped up, not bothered by the guarded reaction of her roommates and hurriedly opened the window to let the six owls in that had been carrying a huge package.

The witch hastily cleared space on the counter for them to land on and filled a few bowls with water to set in front of them. She also got a few stripes of bacon for them.

"Your post gets delivered by owls?" Colonnello spoke out.

Violet, already occupying herself with opening the package nodded "Yeah it's great. You don't even have to put an address down, just telling them for whom it is is enough"

This earned her a few raised eyebrows but she ignored them in favour of opening the humongous package.

From the amount of stuff in it, it was clear that it wasn't solely from Ginny. Several pies and especially a big treacle tart were lifted out of it and set on a free surface, definitely from Molly.

She was more than happy for this alone, Molly's cooking and baking skills were still superior and with the use of charms they wouldn't go bad. She fondly remembered how the Weasleys Matriarch had kept her feed over the long summers with the food packages she had gotten while at the Dursleys.

Several small trinkets and various drawings from the children in the Weasley families were included and all of them signed to make it easier to differentiate. She smiled at that especially when she found one of Teddys youngest children.

A box full of basic necessity potions was in it that clearly screamed Hermione. While Violet was able to brew potions with the correct instructions and no dungeon bat looming over her shoulder, she still didn't like it much and Hermione was most of the time happy to fill up her stockpile for her.

Quite a big assortment of wizarding sweets were in it as well, she set the bag aside but took out one item "Viper? You want a chocolate frog?"

Before the miser could even answer, Violet had already thrown her the small package "Don't forget to catch it, yeah?"

"I already have it, what are y…" Viper stopped talking as soon as she opened it and the frog leaped out, jumping straight into their still open mouth.

Violet had to snort at that, just sliding a few more on the table before turning back to the package.

Next were several books; Magic for Muggles, the newest version of the British magic Law and Lunas new book on magical creatures were for example under it. She just grabbed all of them and placed them in the middle of the table, near Verde. "Just ask me if something isn't clear… you should probably start with the introduction guide though…" Verde, who before had been completely focused on a chocolate frog himself, in hope of finding out how they were able to jump and if they were sentient, just placed it on the table to open the book immediately.

She could see several grabby hands for the other books but didn't really mind. She had even found the Quibbler in the box and while she would definitely read it herself, most books were definitely for the Arcobalenos and not her. To her absolute amusement she could even find several of the glasses that Luna always carried around.

Another box was in the package and this time she was sure that it was solely for her afterall giving an assortment of wizarding prank items to a muggle wasn't a good idea, she set it aside but stumbled across another one with branding of Weasleys Wizarding Wheezes only this time there was a small note on it 'she's under a pet friendly stasis charm. For Yuni'.

The carebook next to it answered her question "Yuni hun? You've got a present."

The little sky immediately jumped up from her chair where she had been reading the quibbler and hurriedly cleaning the chocolate remains of her "I wanna call it Mochi!"

"You have a pet for her?" Reborn spoke up who had the Arithmancy book in front of him.

"Yes, don't worry pygmy puffs are more similar to a stuffed toy than anything just that you have to feed them."

She lifted the stasis and handed the small cage to Yuni who immediately opened it and proceeded to coo at the small purple ball of fluff.

The pygmy puff made a small squeaky noise before licking over Yunis' thumb.

The sky uttered a quick thank you before completely focusing on petting her willing new pet.

Violet smiled at that before opening a wrapped bundle and stilling for a few seconds. Inside of it was a brand new quality pair of leather pants and a pair of goggles and gloves. All of them visibly quidditch gear.

She almost let it fall down in her rushed attempt at rummaging in the package.

Her fingers found a hard wrapped thing and she hastily pulled it out and ripped the wrapping off.

Ginny had gotten her a broom! Not just a broom, the newest one. A professional racing broom that had already replaced all of the former once in professional quidditch games. All Violet could do was hold it in her hands and stared adoringly at it, caresing the polished wood.

Lal who had at one point looked up furrowed her eyebrows "Violet if you're that in love with brooms then we have one in the cupboard. No need for your friends to send you one."

"No, this isn't the same! This is the Lightningstrike 740! Not an ordinary broom Lal. It's blasphemous to even think of comparing them. This is the greatest work anyone in the whole wild world has ever done! It comes with integrated grip strength charms and wind protection as well as its charmed unbreakable. Not even flames or lightning can destroy it!" she exclaimed incredulously.

Colonnello paused at that "So you… actually fly with brooms?"

"Yeah!"

She had already grabbed the pants and hurriedly shivered into them "I haven't really flown in decades!"

The gloves for extra grip strength and the goggles were hurriedly put on as well and she was already halfway out of the door when the arcobalenos followed her.

Violet placed the broom on the ground, fastened the gloves one last time and grinned while carefully mouthing "Up!"

The broom shot in her hand and she sat on it before carefully pushing off the ground. Still staying at a snail's pace. She had to figure out how good and fast the reaction to her manoeuvring was before she could really test out the speed. Losing control at the maximum speed of the lightningstrike 740 would be fatal and she didn't have any medi witches to cater to her and therefore she had to make sure.

"It's amazing it reacts more quickly than I would have believed possible!" she exclaimed and made a small turn.

"Time to really test out this baby!" already sending loving glances at her new broom.

Colonnello snorted "Aren't you already doing that? I kinda expected more than just a hovering witch when you seemed so happy about flying."

A slightly manic smile made its way on her lips, everyone who had known skull as a stuntman was familiar with it, his signature daredevil smirk only this time on Violet's lips "Oh luv. You have no clue after all this baby here only needs 10 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 350."

Before anyone could react she angled her broom upwards and went straight in the sky. Just aiming to achieve the full speed. The charms held perfectly, while she still had to grip the broomstick it wasn't hard to stay on it and even though she could feel wind pressure it didn't impact her too much. She maybe should have put on warmer clothes but she didn't care for it right now, solely focused on the exhilarating feeling of flying at full speed.

But she had to do further tests and if there was one thing she had always loved doing and was confident in then it was the wronski feint and therefore she pulled straight into the dive.

The arcobalenos themself had been left speechless for a second as they saw her ascend into the sky.

"I should have known better, kora. I mean it's not a secret how she drives cars or her motorcycle… I should have known that brooms are no better, kora."

Lal meanwhile was still watching their cloud rise higher at an insane speed "Wait… is she diving?"

"I mean she has quite a bit of distance behind her… I can barely see her so it would make sense to get lower again?"

"She's not stopping."

Reborns hand clutched the brim of his Fedora, not letting the former sky out of his eyes.

Colonnello just focused on her form "Why isn't she stopping, kora?"

True to his words Violet was in a nosedive and heading straight to the ground, they could even make her figure out clearly at this point.

Verde fiddled with his glasses "Even for her cloud flames it would be a scratch to say she could make it out alive if she crashed." he said dryly and all of them watched with bated breath when Violet pulled out at the exact last second, instead flying straight to the wooded area, leaving a huge explosion of dust and dirt in her place, whirled up by the wind pressure.

They could feel their heartbeat stuttering

"This is way worse than her stunt driving, kora!"

Reborn spoke up, barely able to listen over the sound of his heartbeat drumming in his ears "Colonnello dose them with rainflames. Fon you take her. I get the broom."

Fon just hummed as an answer and both of them were already falling into their stances ready to react at the drop of a hat. Colonnello just settled himself and readied his flames to strike out instantly.

While it would have been stupid for anyone else to actively try to get someone off at this speed they were still the best and everything would be better than watching the cloud lose control at this kind of speed.

It actually didn't take long for the cloud to come back and while she was turning her broom around they jumped into action.

Reborn just grabbed the broom and tried to get over the whiplash from the strong force. To his luck the broom immediately lost its speed as soon as the witch was off it.

Fon had meanwhile almost tackled Violet off the broom, skillfully manoeuvring them around, so he was able to take the force off their impact. Still he slithered across the ground with her in a bridal carry, leaving a deep track in the ground.

Violet herself was completely caught off guard, the bright grin on her face quickly turned into confusion as she stared up at Fon's face. "Excuse me?"

"Are you aware how fast you were flying?"

she had the slight feeling he was criticising her, while he stepped back towards the group, still carrying her.

"Max speed."

Reborn gritted out "Tesoro… don't you see the problem with that?"

"No.. not really." she just shook her head, while Fon carefully sat her down, still hovering over her and even though it was pointless, he carefully mustered her for any liaisons. "You always fly like that?"

"Yeah, since I was eleven… I mean ride or die, am I right?"

Lal who had been quiet so far just slapped her hand on her forehead "Did you even hear what you just said?"

The scientist stepped forward, wringing his hands and staring blankly at Violet. "Are you aware what would happen to you if you lose control for even one second at that speed?"

"...splash?"

Verde opened his mouth but no words were coming out in face of their reckless cloud.

"I mean like guys seriously I know what I'm doing and I'm kinda immortal, don't forget that."

"There is no way your cloud flames could heal that. This isn't possible. They can't heal you if you have already died."

"I'm confiscating this. No more flying Tesoro." Reborn spoke out, firmly holding her broom in one hand.

She just raised her eyebrow. "No deal. This is my broom."

"And you are our cloud. Don't think for a second I will let you willingly risk your life."

She actually almost had to laugh at that, the adrenaline from flying still in her veins "You think you can stop me?"

Before Reborn could even answer, she had flicked her wrist, her wand snapping out of the holder and an "accio" with the quick snappy movement did the trick and her broom was back in her hand and she was already up in the air again. Rising up to an untouchable height.

This time she couldn't stop her laughter at Reborns slack jawed expression.

"This means war splendore." he uttered.

She just smirked back, way too high on the feeling of pulling one over Reborn. "You know what, I should really practise my stunts. You know 40 years is a bit long, right luv?"

And with that she started, no longer bothering with her bondmates and fully entranced with the adrenaline of doing way too reckless things, too high in the air with way too much speed.
