She might not want to admit it, but actually pulling one over Colonnello had brought her way too much entertainment.

She still wasn't mad at any of them but it brought way too much satisfaction to slightly mess with them.

After all, Violet was the daughter to one of the greatest pranksters in existence, goddaughter to another one and the godmother to the son of one. Mischief was in her blood and she couldn't deny it.

Even messing with them in the past as Skull had always been a special kind of fun and this time she could freely use her magic for it.

She started fairly small, vanishing items away from where Verde had left them and letting them appear at later dates in strange places.

It had truly been an amusing sight when Verde had found one of his books in the fridge. It even had a positive effect because the lightning had theorized that he had been lacking sleep and was therefore misplacing his possessions and as a result went to bed for longer and at more regular hours. So while she was pranking him mildly, she got him to live healthier. A win-win in her book.

She might have been a bit mean when she charmed the handles of the cupboard frail so that it instantly broke when Fon tried to open them. She naturally had repaired the damage right away to not make Fon feel bad, but the storm was slightly confused how he had miscalculated his strength that much.

It didn't help when it recurred on occasions. Him apologizing to her for giving her all the extra work, almost made her feel guilty. But she could have been worse, for example locking him in the toilet because of a broken doorknob.

Hexing Reborns ties to portray wrinkles more easily and permanently did have a good reason. After all it was impossible how the sun always presented himself in perfect attire.

For once she wanted to see him as a normal human and his slight irritation with his tie did make him a bit more relatable. She definitely hadn't expected how often he would change them in a day as a result. Sometimes he even forwent it completely.

She hadn't been too mean. After all she had only charmed a few of his ties, not all of them.

While her little pranks didn't really have an impact it was still satisfactory.

None of them even suspected foul play and she could still be a witness to it.

Lad had been next, it had been a bit more complicated but as soon as the former soldier got startled by Colonnello and got a slight jam stain on her top, Violet knew know was the best time to add a powdered potion that actually made stains permanent, at least if you didn't have the counter potion.

Lal had washed the piece of clothing at least five times until she had given up. Violet didn't want her to suffer in the end and therefore told her she might have something that helps.

It only took a minute for the stain to disappear and Lal had been thankful, still not suspecting her.

In a way it was amusing how she could get away with it more easily if everyone was thankful for her help.

After she actively helped Lal to get out of her situation, she had gotten bolder.

One day the hot water had been hexed close when Colonnello had been in the shower, the kitchen sink had been manipulated to actually spray the user and with a minor confundus she had been able to see how Reborn reacted when he had grabbed for salt instead of the sugar.

Next had been to create a few more minor annoyances, like charming one of the stairs to always make a loud sound when you stepped on it.

Violet was definitely aware that most of the pranks were way too minor and no great masterpiece but she definitely wanted to stay undetected and play with it as long as possible.

It was more than just thrilling to get away with everything when you lived in a house full of the most perceptive people in the world.

Currently she was in the living room, a few of the others occupying themself while she amused Yuni with playing around with her appearance. She has just changed her features to those of a rabbit when Viper came down, stepping on the cursed spot "Violet? A word please?"

She stood up "Sure? Where to?"

Viper just motioned her to follow them up to their room.

The miser closed the door "I think you have a spell against eavesdropping?"

Violet nodded, it wasn't unusual for Viper to let others do work they could do themself. After all, if there's no money, then there was no point for the miser to move a finger.

The mist cleared their throat "Mou, I know what you have been up to."

"What do you mean?"

"Reborns ties? Lals stain? The squeaking stairs? You know I have ways to be aware of everything going on in the house." they stated matter of fact.

Violet knew she had been caught but she truly didn't want to give up so easily. So in a slightly moronic way she answered"...I don't know what you're talking about."

"Mou you're still a terribel liar."

Violet had thought if she didn't target Viper directly she might have a chance to get around this. But to no avail. "You want me to stop?"

"Not at all."

"What?" she stilled confused.

"Thanks to you I have quite a vast collection of blackmail."

"Then why are we even speaking about it?"

"Because you are a terrible liar and you will make a mistake at some point or it will get too obvious, and therefore interfere with my money making potential."

"You want… to give me lessons then?"

The mist sighed "No, but I have a deal to propose."

"I'm listening."

"You inform me of your plans, the exact times or you even make the photographs and I will help you with staying undetected."

Violet straightened up. This was definitely a chance she wouldn't get any day "In which way?"

"Mist flames would work wonders in hiding the obvious tampering through magic, believable body doubles and the bonus of being able to hide your treacherous body language."

"Wouldn't the others recognize mist tampering?"

"In combination with your magic? No. Especially not with my skill set. Even Reborn has problems seeing through my mist. The right dose would be undetectable."

"You would do that for free?" Violet asked incredulously.

"Free? I'm getting more blackmail out of it than I have ever deemed possible. I can even let you go way further than you have gone so far."

Violet considered it but what did she have to lose? Viper already knew about her actions and it was hard to keep it under wraps. At a specific point none of them would believe in coincidences anymore.

Therefore she extended her hand "I do have a bright pink hair dye potion that just screams Colonnello."

She could see the slight smirk on the mist's face when they accepted the handshake "Pleasure to make business with you."

Violet had started her usual morning routine, cooking breakfast, singing with the radio and entertaining the rest of her Muggles. She was giddy though. Naturally masking it with her normal good mood and she had the slight feeling Viper had already used a bit of mist on her because no one commented on it.

Still she had a bit of a problem hiding her excitement but focused on finishing the eggs up. When Colonnellos voice echoed from upstairs "Reborn! Admit this was you! Make it go back! Kora!"

At least she could be sure that it worked now.

Reborn had just raised his eyebrow but hadn't even bothered setting his espresso down.

"Reborn! I'm talking to you! Make it go back!"

The sun still ignored the screaming, instead focused on today's newspaper.

Colonnello burst into the room shortly after, donning neon pink hair and completely outraged.

Reborn had to hide his laughter at the unexpectant appearance "Wanted a makeover? Next time ask me. The colour really doesn't suit your complexion."

Violet had really tried to but she could really not stop her laughter at this point.

Colonnello glared at the sun "I know it was you! I saw Leon walk around my room yesterday! Reverse it!"

"I have no clue what you're talking about."

"Just reverse it!"

"How would I even do that? It wasn't me but so far I don't have any remedies for hair dye"

Violet did watch them argue a bit longer before she stepped towards the rain "I might have a stain remover potion lying around… but it doesn't work on fresh stuff. If you wait a few days we could try getting the colour out?"

Which was a total lie. She had the counter potion that would work immediately but she did want to bask in her success a little longer. She did admit that it would be harsh to let him wear it for forever as magic hair potion usually did but a few more days wouldn't hurt the rain.

Colonnello just stared at her almost in worship "I love you, kora!"

She was still laughing when she heard the gun click. Slightly confused and alarmed she turned around, ready to bolt out of the line. To her surprise the gun was aimed at Colonnello.

Actually she really shouldn't have been surprised. After all Reborn had not once since the reveal ever aimed his gun at her or promised her violence in any way. But ingrained thoughts were hard to ignore.

The hitman said in a deep low voice "Considering cheating on Lal? How about I teach you a lesson in her place?"

"Come on, Reborn. You know how I meant it."

"Too late, after all you even dropped in the ranking. A bit of training should do you good."

Violet had to repair the wall afterwards.

Her next prank had definitely been way more daring. And way more complicated as well. She had used her invisibility cloak and a muffliato but she had actually been able to make her way into Reborns room undetected. She actually was glad that his gun laid next to him on the bed, so she exchanged it for a toy gun. Magic made the transfer seamless and while she had deemed it possible that the hitman would still wake up it worked out. She hurriedly made her way out of the room.

Violet put a finite on the door to erase the sound blocking charm. To be honest she had put a sleeping charm on him to make sure he wouldn't even wake up from the airflow but she still had been nervous. It was Reborn after all!

Okay she might have been overreacting but it was Reborn after all and she had cause to worry unnecessarily.

Leaving Colonnellos door open slightly to levitate the gun under his bed had been way more easier and especially not that stressful.

When she had finally made it into her bed she was still shaking a bit from the excitement.

The Blowout had been way bigger than she had expected. Reborn had found his gun in a record time. Obviously blaming Colonnello and calling him childish for attempting this kind of revenge for the hair prank that he hadn't done.

The two were on it for hours, no one admitting anything. Reborn had declared war at one point and since that second the both of them actually started to prank each other. She was a bit worried she went too far but at the same time it was hilarious to see them battle it out like that. Even better no one ever considered her afterwards and she was able to keep going

She was definitely glad that Viper was helping her, she was sure her wild cackling would have already exposed her otherwise.

It just showed it to her again. It wasn't about the pranks, it was only about the gleeful feeling she got when she pulled one over on them. After all, who could claim that they had been able to pull on over the Arcobalenos and not just once but multiple times? She might have been subtle but it didn't change that fact.
