It is a very busy day at the hotel shops and no one wastes a second to enjoy this time. Shops are busy, people are shopping and Kruller is reading.

The Last Six is the name of the book Kruller is reading. It about a man named Eric and five other men have to figure out who murdered 14 people before they're taken out as well.

Kruller really wants to finish the book by the end of the week so he speed reads.

"Come on come on come on..." Kruller thought. He wanted to read as much as possible before his break ends.

Eric and Roger stumbled upon a body that looked like it wasn't dead for long. Noises were heard from bushes behind them and the duo gasped in horror. Kruller shivered in suspense wondering what is about to happen. The noises got even worse and louder. A figure seemed to be watching Eric and Roger. It pounced with a knife in its hand and left a screa-

The next page disappeared. Kruller looked with confusion at the sight and turned the page. Just like the last one, this page was also blank. "NO. NO. NO. NO. NO!" Kruller thought panicking. He flipped through the rest of the book. The rest of the pages were completely blank.

Who could've done this?!? Kruller thought both confused and angered. There was absolutely no reason for the author to just end a book mid page without an answer to anything. Did Eric survive? Did Eric solve the mystery? Did I waste my time?!? Kruller thought.

A couple of passers had seen Kruller's mental breakdown and formed a small crowd. They began to wonder why he was so emotional over a book. Sure the plot was good, but this is a little dramatic.

"Um, sir?" A Hammer asked. "Is everything Alright?"

"No sir. Everyone go please!" Kruller cried. The crowd left but it had also drawn the attention of one certain ghost: Chambrea.

"Kruller, you must tell me what's wrong." Chambrea said softly.

Kruller pulled out the book and revealed that there were no more pages with words. He whimpered. "They're... gone. :(" He showed Chambrea the book even closer.

"Well, I feel awful about this and I hope that we can- wait a minute." Chambrea said curiously. She ripped the blank pages out of the book.

"No!" Kruller yelled. "I was going to check if the ink wasn't used correctly!"

"You can still look, but look!" Chambrea showed the pages to Kruller.

The blank pages was office paper taped to the spine of the book and small bits of the actual pages were still stuck on the spine.

"Someone tore out the pages Kruller! This wasn't the author, it was someone here!" Chambrea shouted.

A menace of this hotel had ripped off the pages of The Last Six and tried to get away with it by taping new pages back on the book.

A confused Kruller just stared in shock at the sight. He was a nice guy, so no one has reason to commit this crime.

"What if it is an accident?" Kruller asked. "I mean, I never hurt anyone, so no one would want to get revenge on me for anything."

"Oh yeah, someone just accidentally tore half of the book and accidentally taped new sheets back on." Chambrea rolled her eyes. "What if YOU did something wrong to someone?"

Kruller gasped in horror. He hated that Chambrea had said something like that, but what if she was right? If Kruller had done something bad then he would be known as the Mean Guy. Sure a nickname like Cowardly Kruller was bad, Mean Guy would be worse.

"I j-just don't wanna become the mean guy." Kruller sobbed. "Or sensitive guy, I'm crying so bad right now."

Chambrea rolled her eyes again, but she was willing to help Kruller without helping him.

"Okay, I want to help you but I can't. I'm working right now, but if you should start somewhere, go behind the hotel. The missing pages could be in the recycling bins back there." Chambrea floated away and out of sight.

Kruller sighed. There were so many recycling bins behind the hotel and it would take the rest of the day to find the pages, but Kruller would go nevertheless. He needed to find the pages no matter what. Or at least until he could buy another copy.

Kruller approached the many bins that were in front of him. He stared jaw dropped. They weren't the small bins that you could carry with an arm, these bad boys were tall, wide and messy.

Kruller was about to start digging through the recycling but that's when he saw another ghost. A partner that might be willing to help him. A wave of hope filled Kruller. The ghost turned around, for he sensed Kruller's gaze on him.

A new wave of feelings filled Kruller: disappointment. The ghost that is here is no other than Clem the hotel's mechanic. He isn't exactly the most helpful guy in these kind of situations.

"Oh, Kruller!" Clem smiled. "Ah was just goin' about mah day an dumpster diving'. Me an mah guys are havin' a paper airplane contest."

Kruller wasn't surprised. Clem was always doing the most questionable things such as playing with his rubber duckies, helping the triplets with pranks and even once put on a onesie on a dare.

"What does dumpster diving have to do with a paper airplane contest?" Kruller asked blankly.

Clem looked at Kruller as if he had said the world's stupidest sentence. "Well if you must ask, Ah want mah plane to have all types of stuff on it to make it go fastah, but what are you doin' here?

Kruller wasn't about to tell what was going on. Clem would just slow things down, but Kruller didn't want to hurt his feelings by not saying anything.

"I had a book that had half of their pages ripped off and now I want to find them and continue the story." Kruller explained. "Did you see any pages in the bins?"

Clem scratched his head for a few seconds before answering. "Ah've been divin' all day an ah never saw any pages. Sorry to disappoint."

The apology ment something to Kruller, but it wasn't much. There was a lot of disappointment Kruller felt. These bins were the one place that the pages could be and they weren't. Kruller started to take off.

"Wait!" Clem called out. "Ah saw Gloria with tons of papers an Ah think she might have dem!"

Hope filled Kruller now that there might be another place that the pages could be. He needed to hurry to the Dance Hall to see if the pages are there.

"Thank you Clem, thank you!" Kruller ran off.

"Whoa!" A ghost cried. Kruller had rocketed past her to the elevator without even saying sorry. The ghost knew this behavior was out of character for Kruller, but she ignored the incident.

Meanwhile, Dj Phantasmagoria (or Gloria) was cleaning up the mess she left on the dance floor from the party of last night. She was minding her own business thinking nothing crazy could happen soon.

Unfortunately for Gloria, Kruller sped down the hall and reached the dance floor entrance, but the doors were locked. He tried his hardest to pull the doors open before the missing pages were gone forever.

Gloria heard the noises of the doors trying to be opened, so she floated to the doors and opened them.

The second Gloria opened the doors Kruller went flying because he had been pulling so hard on these doors. Gloria watched in shock as Kruller fell to the ground and accidentally broke a record and some lights.

"Kruller, how desperate are you to get in my main room? Wait! I swear it was the triplets!" Gloria frantically stammered.

Kruller paused at getting up. "Wait you know about my problem? That's great! Now I just need to go to them and retrieve my pages!" Kruller stormed towards the elevator and was about to hit button eleven.

"No! I just blamed the triplets for something I thought that you are mad about. I mean, you are getting a little aggressive and I don't even know what this is about." Gloria inquired.

"Did you see some pages from a book around?" Kruller asked. "Clem told me he saw you with some papers."

Gloria looked confused. "You listened to the ghost that once thought that mermaids existed?" She began to laugh very hard. "I only provide epic beats and neato lights. The hotel does everything else. Plus, I'm so busy working that there's no time for me to rip pages out of a book and tape new ones back on."

Kruller sighed. There were no more places that he could check-

Wait what did Gloria say?

"How did you know that someone taped new papers back on?!?" Kruller pointed at Gloria.

She began to sweat and finally cried, "Okay, Kruller it wasn't me but I was blackmailed to keep quiet about it! Fishook said he'd show an embarrassing video of me to everyone!" Gloria frantically explained.

Kruller had now lost all hope. The Spectral Catch is an enormous floor and it would take more time to find the pages there than the recycling bins. Captain Fishook has tons of secret hiding places for just about anything, but the real question is, what did Kruller do to Fishook that would make him this mad to rip the pages out of The Last Six? Kruller had to know.

"Well thank you Gloria, I will make my way to The Spectral Catch and retrieve the pages and finish my book. Goodbye!" Kruller strutted to the elevator. Gloria just stood in place watching this happen. "Oh and also I forgot something!" Kruller went back to Gloria and pulled her wig down, Gloria responded by screaming in shock. "You know I'm insecure about this!"

"It's kinda what you get for attempting to lie about this!" Kruller called. He ran back down the hallway leaving Gloria still in shock. "What an as-". The elevator started to go down to The Spectral Catch.

In The Spectral Catch, Captain Fishook, a ghost shark, sat at the bar waiting for his drink. Fishook had a reason to drink unlike other times. He had won wrestling Johnny Deepend the most athletic ghost in the hotel. This is real reason to get a drink.

The bartender noticed that Fishook was in an amazing mood and wanted to see why. He was always a happy lad, but never this happy. "Oi, Cap'n." Fishook looked up. "I've never seen you in such a happy mood. What's the occasion?"

Fishook was happy that the bartender asked. "We'll mate, me and that guy Johnny got into a wee scuffle. I won." Fishook smiled his giant pointy teeth.

The bartender tried not to be intimidated and said, "Congrats boy," he pulled out a small glass and poured a drink into it. He passed Fishook's glass and kept his own glass.

"A toast to your latest victory Cap'n!" Both of them raised their glasses proudly and proceeded to take a sip.

Kruller unexpectedly crashed into the room, startling the two ghosts in front of him. He looked madder than the time Fishook gave Kruller cologne that secretly reeked of rotted fish.

"Where. Are. They?!?" Kruller fumed. This had to be it. Gloria said it herself that she was blackmailed into the situation, but this is where the journey ends. Fishook will give up the pages and Kruller will finish The Last Six.

"Okay, Kruller why did you just bust in here like there's free doughnuts that were made by Soufflé?" Fishook asked.

"I feel insulted that you are trying to lie your way out of this shark!" Kruller growled. "You must know where the pages are!" Kruller pointed at Fishook's face. "Show me the pages, or I'll have to whip out my water gun so you can meet your second death!"

Fishook gave a look that made Kruller calm down just a little. "Okay lad, first of all, where is what? Second, just how big of a deal is this item that you must crash into the bar. Third, my money's on the triplets that took your item."

"I'm sorry shark, but Gloria told me that you blackmailed her into keeping quiet about tearing up pages from my book and taping new ones. Please do not lie!"

An understanding look formed across the Captain's face. He sighed. "Look Kruller, I blackmailed Gloria because I saw the culprit rip your pages. She thought I tore the pages and was going to tell everyone that I ripped your book. You know that everyone thinks I lie all the time, and who do you think they're going to believe?"

Kruller couldn't believe it. Captain Fishook wasn't the page thief, but tons of hope raised into him. Fishook knew who took the pages and could tell Kruller who he was.

"Oh Fishook! I'm so sorry that I snapped at you and crashed your bar!"

The entire bar collapsed just after Kruller said that as if right on cue.

"Or what used to be a bar and now garbage." Kruller mumbled. Cowardly Kruller due to his actions could now actually become Mean Guy and he really didn't want that.

"Oh matey, I really don't mind. I mean, me and the others are always causing this kind of shit, but this is nothing compared to what we've done." Fishook reassured.

Kruller felt better about himself by a lot, but he still wanted an answer: who was the page ripper that caused Kruller and some of the hotel so much damage?

It seemed that the Captain could read Kruller's mind as if it were an open book because he said: "Oh matey, if you really want to know who your culprit was, it's Clem."

Total shock formed on Kruller's face. How could it be Clem? He doesn't even touch a book if it is not a comic book. Still Kruller got his answer, and he's going to get the pages back.

"Thank you Captain! I'm going to retrieve my pages and I'll get you a free item from my shops!" Kruller smiled.

"Oh no need, I'm not fond of those tiny little souvenirs, but thanks!" Fishook waved his fin.

"Okay, see you later with the pages!" Kruller floated off. The bartender just stared at this moment.

"Do you still want me to serve you some liquor Cap'n?" Fishook smiled. "Lovely lad, you saved the bottles! One glass!"

In the Boilerworks, Clem and a couple of his buddies were throwing paper airplanes with all types of junk attached to them.

"Your turn Callie!" Clem called. A goob in overalls threw her plane and passed a line that was made of green tape. Everyone started cheering.

"Ya passed da Line O' Fartha!" Clem cheered. "Ah need to beat ya Callie!" Clem drew back his arm to throw his plane.

Kruller ran out of the elevator and into the main area of the Boilerworks and grabbed Clem's arm before he could throw. Shock filled Clem and he slowly turned around to find Kruller giving him a stern look.

"What did you do to my pages?" Kruller asked both calmly and sternly. Clem could tell he meant serious business.

"Ah swear, ah don't have your pages. Ah just hate word stories." Clem responded. Kruller knew Clem was lying though.

"Fishook told me that you tore the pages of my book and now here I am retrieving what belongs to me."

A ghost tried to continue the paper airplane contest and attempted to throw his plane to the Champion Line, but unfortunately miscalculated his aim and accidentally hit poor Kruller.

When the plane hit Kruller, he noticed there was something off about them. He let go of Clem and picked up the plane. The plane was made of a page from The Last Six.

Realization immediately hit Clem and his buddies that they made a big oopsie. Kruller floated around picking up other planes that were lying around. All of them were made from The Last Six pages.

Clem and his other friends looked at each other in horror. "Now listen Kruller, Ah actually nevah knew dat these pages were from your book. Ah saw da book Lyin' on da table and Ah saw paper in there. Ah'm so sorry Kruller. Ah forgot about da book and dats why Ah didn't tell you that Ah wasn't involved with your book fiasco."

Kruller saw pure apology in Clem's face. How could Kruller not accept the apology? After all, it was nice to let Clem have his fun.

"Okay Clem, I accept your apology, but question: where are the triplets?"

"Oh they're not involved in dis thing. Strange right?" Clem laughed.

Kruller shrugged, "Oh well, that's unusual but may I have the pages back please?" Clem had no choice but to give them back but who said he hated doing that?

"You got da pages an Ah'm gonna take a nap." Clem hooted. Kruller stood there feeling pretty good about himself and how he completed his mission. All peace is restored.

"Oh!" Clem bumped into a large pipe. "Shouldn't do anything," he walked off, but all of a sudden, the pipe burst sending shit everywhere onto Clem and Kruller.

Clem emerged from the pile of poop and laughed the smell off. "Woo! Dat's one stank pile!" Kruller emerged next and the pages of The Last Six were unreadable. They were covered in ghost shit.

"Er- Ah'ma get you a new book." Clem muttered sheepishly while Kruller glared at him.

"Great. Just great." Kruller sighed.

Thank you for reading this story and btw, it took Kruller a long time to wash off the smell of poop. May you give me your ideas for another story?
