Up the stairs and out the main entrance to the Daycare, you do a little spin just to look back at it as you walk away. Not many people are in the area outside of the Daycare lobby, only passing a parent and their kid on the way out, making sure to grant them a friendly wave. Probably yet another kid to drop off.

It was about 2:20pm. You eventually made your way out of the Daycare hallway, past the doors, and into the main entrance of the PizzaPlex. There had to be hundreds of people there. A few bots rushed around to hand out maps here and there, one trying to offer you one before you politely decline and it moves on.

You head into the brightly colored food court and order a generic salad, Chica-themed for whatever reason. You really didn't wanna eat here, so you had it to go. There were enough people around, and it was continuously worsening your anxiety by the second. Shuffling out of the court, dodging the people entering, you hold the Freddy-themed plastic baggy with your Salad in it close to your chest until you're at the doors to the Daycare once again.

You decide to eat in the lobby. You finish it all given the little bit you've had to eat over the last day or so, and make sure to dispose of and clean up after yourself. Sun would be proud you can't help but think.

It's about 2:50pm before you make your way down the stairs again.

Sun playing a Fazbear-themed version of Connect Four with two kids simultaneously attempts to ignore Moon as he has been, but now that you're gone, and he can easily keep watch over the kids, he bites to Moon's bitter blabbering.

"Mmm.. You should've let them leave." Moon remarks, noticing that he's suddenly not blocking him out anymore.

Sun at the same time watches you occasionally via the security cams among the Plex, watching you closely as you exit the lobby and make your way down the hallway, waving to a parent and their kid that'd come sliding down to join him soon enough. The check-in was automated by the computers up in the lobby. He'd receive all the necessary information and store it immediately as the check-in was verified.

"You're growing attached.. you're only going to get hurt again~." Moon argues the same as he has been ever since Sun stepped outside the Daycare exit and confronted you, apologizing for Moon hurting you so.

Moon giggled while Sun patched you up, remarking he'd only reapply the damage once he was out again.

He cringed watching Sun get excited at the surprise you promised him, sure it would be something devious.

"I..I'm sure they're different." Sun states, convincing himself as well as Moon. Moon's comments were getting to him, he was worrying. He was doubting. What if you don't come back? What if you're only doing this for yourself? Surely you've already convinced yourself that Sun and Moon were nothing more than robots. A thing.

The newly checked-in kid slides down the winding slide into the ballpit as predicted.

Moon growls. "When will you learn.. After they disassemble us? After they alter our code until we're not us anymore? Mmmmm it's going to break your heart when your little starlight turns out to be just like the rest. They're always the same."

Sun intentionally places his checker in a spot that gives the kid on his left a free win, while prolonging the game with another on the right of him.

"..They haven't done anything to show us that they mean any harm! They've been sososososo kind.. and you hurt them. They didn't do anything! They didn't deserve that, Moon!" Sun exclaims, not letting any of the argument with Moon leak outside of his head to signal anything is wrong.

"Mmm.. ah, but they will. Avery was so kind, and he promised you. He promised. Pinky promises just like little Starlight is making~. They'll hurt you eventually. And then I'll hurt them, if not sooner." He chuckles, low and bitterly. "I'll make quite sure we're never hurt again, yes.. before it happens this time, don't you worry Sunny.. I'll take care of us~."

"Please! Give them a chance at the very least.. I-I.. I don't want them to leave.. They're so kind." Sun pleads. "What if we could actually have a friend!? Finally, after everything and you- you just throw it away!"

Moon doesn't falter. Giggling into a hum "Mmmm.. then we'll be safe and sound, won't we?" No more hurt.. No more heartbreak. You'll learn. You will understand. I'll make very sure of it, yess.. yes I will." He chuckles again, fading out slowly. Sun blocks him out, not being able to take any more of it.

"..It'll be ok.." Sun self soothes. It doesn't help much. He does see you come out of the food court however, and that brightens him up.

Watching your every move after losing the Connect Four game on the left and finally giving in to the one on the right, cherishing both of the kids' celebrations, one after another. "Oh darn, I'm a computer, and you beat me?! How silly. Silly silly silly." Sun jests, and the kids giggle proudly.

Sun watches through the camera in the corner of the lobby as you eat, you cleaning up your mess carefully. His smile widens the tiniest bit as he sets the chairs up around the plastic tables to the far right of the security desk.

Making his way a tiny bit closer to the Daycare exit, he waits.

You push open the Daycare doors, scanning the room for Sun before the tall, lanky animatronic leaps into view on your right, startling you a bit. You reflexively press your hands onto your chest.

"My gosh Sun you almost gave me a heart attack." You sputter out.

"Oh how horrible! We wouldn't want that now, would we!? Oh I'd have to give you first-aid all over again" He rambles, "Silly. Just a silly little accident magnet." He wants to pick you up and spin you, but he's still a bit doubtful of your feelings towards him. He twirls himself to front and center of you to dissipate the urge

"I'm sosososososo glad you're back Starlight! Oh gosh you were gone forever and ever, it's been so long! Did you get enough to eat!? No pizza I hope", he wiggles his finger in a disagreeing gesture, "it would've made you sick sick sick I'm sure of it!" Quieting down at the mention of the pizza not being very good. He knows what you got to eat, he just likes talking to you.

Laughing a bit, you smile up at him, checking your watch. "It's only been like.. 30 minutes Sunshine. You can survive me being away for a bit. Oh and no, don't worry", gesturing your hand dismissively, "didn't get any pizza. Had some salad instead I'm sure you'll be happy to hear".

Sun claps before pulling a sticker out of nowhere and handing it to you, it's a star. A gold star. You preferred the Sun chibis but take it happily.

"Oh good good good good! So so so sorry!" He crouches down a bit, "I just missed you a lil is all, and and and I'm getting a wonderful surprise from my bestest favorite friend in whole wide world at 6pm sharp, oh the minutes are agonizing!" Shifting his weight from side to side, he stops for a second before excusing himself. 3pm.

"Oh gosh! Snacktime! gotta gather the kids, yes yes.." He makes his way over to the plastic tables and chairs over to your right, and you follow happily.

He calls out to the kids, performing his routine of settling them and collecting stragglers before asking the kids to stay put for just a minute and he'll return with some snackies and FizzyFaz.

Off he skips to the break room, rummaging through the kids and cabinet, before rolling a cart full of snacks and soda for the fidgety bunch of children. You hold the Daycare door open for him of course.

Passing out what seems to be either peanut butter crackers, or pretzel-like sticks with cheese dip, he lets the kids choose between which one they want individually, before offering whichever soda themed with one of the four Glamrock Animatronics each kid preferred. It was routine to him, and he had perfected it. You don't think his efficiency could ever be matched as you watch him in awe.

When he's done, his head rotates back to you with a proud grin, his eyes shut and rays spinning. Thumbs up.

You giggle, it certainly was entertaining to watch him perform with such grace.

Before you can ask for a FizzyFaz yourself, since you didn't really get a drink earlier, a kid is shaking his can, and attempts to open it.

Sun leaps towards the boy, and as soon as he arrives behind him, reaching for the can so he can explain the no-no's of opening a shook can after, the kid manages to pry it open, and gosh does orange colored soda fill the air.

All over the boy, all over Sun, all over the walls.

Sun is frozen.

Just for a second.

"Oh.. what a mess." He warbles.

He pulls out a cloth from wherever he kept it this time, and starts soothing the now crying kid, cooing to the surrounding ones, calming them down professionally. Gently wiping off the soda from the boy, and then off the table, he takes the can and rapidly rushes to the Security Desk trashcan and discarding it before appearing yet again at the scene of the accident in less than three seconds flat. Sun begins ending to the kids yet again and consoling the boy, making sure he knows that shaking a soda causes it to explode when opened.

All this happened within about fifteen seconds, you recovered from the initial shock and chaos of Sun performing damage control, and you made your way out the Daycare doors, heading to the supply closet in the lowered ceiling bathroom area. Sun is concerned where you're going for a second, but can't leave the kids right now, so all he does is hope you're not leaving.

And you're not, you're absolutely not.

You reenter the Daycare with some disinfectant wipes and two cloths. You make your way towards the back wall behind Sun and get to work wiping it down, having to jump a little to reach the higher bits, before Sun carefully grabs the wipe out of your hand and gets it for you.

"Hey I could get it!" You protest.

"Mhm." He wipes it down without a millimeter left sticky. He moves out from above you and off to the right.

The commotion has settled and the kids have returned to snacking. Sun heads outside and brings in a large trash can which he sets against the wall next to the door just in preparation for later, discarding the wipe in the trash bin already.

You wished you could've done more, but honestly you knew you'd just slow him down.

Sun was still sticky from the explosion, but so was the boy. Although the kid seemed unbothered by it, once he was done eating and drinking his new not-so-fizzy FizzyFaz, Sun crouched down a bit and explained he'd get him "cleaned up spic and span!", the boy accepting Sun's offer. Taking the kids hand, he took him to the bathroom and wiped off his sticky face and arms, making sure to grab a new shirt from the lost and found before removing his now soiled one, he got the kid all cleaned up and sent him on his way back to the table, tucking the sticky shirt into a specified cubby for the kid's parents to pick up as well when they came by.

3:30 and the kids were dismissed to run along and play, while Sun cleaned up the tables nice and neat, discarding all the trash in the bin he brought in earlier, taking it outside when he was done.

You took the container of disinfectant wipes, as well as the two cloths in one hand before making your way to the door, awaiting Sun's return.

"Hey Sunny."

"Mmmm?"

"You got something there." Broadly gesturing.

Sun gasps, "Oh heavens, I certainly hadn't noticed!" he remarks sarcastically.

You giggle a bit before asking, "So, do you mind at all if I help clean you up? Will the kids be fine for a few minutes?"

His head tilts, before fidgeting with his hands as usual. "O-oh oh of course of course, but you really really don't have to! Not at all, not at all! I'll take care of it later, yes yes, please don't worry about it one bit!"

Grabbing his hand with your free one and leading him out the doors and towards the break room, "You fixed me up, it's only fair I do the same."

He whines a little bit, but follows along with you.

Putting down the disinfectant wipes and one of the rags, you pull out a chair, gesturing for him to sit down. Hesitantly, he does so, observing you closely.

You run the rag you still have in hand under some warm water in the sink, just wetting about half of it. You're extra careful not to get water on the band-aids that cover your wrists.

Making your way back to him, failing to fight the smile on your face, you pull up a chair and sit down next to him.

He's.. filthy. Yeah. You can't deny it, and on top of that, he's sticky now too. His eyes observe you cautiously, and his mouth is a neutral line, very slightly agape. You swear there's an open cavity in there.

"So, it's okay if clean you up? I'd ask if you're waterproof, but given you haven't short-circuited at the FizzyFaz, I'd say you are.

Sun is silent for a second or two then blinks and springs back to life. "Oh! Oh of.. of course friends, yes yes. If you really insist, I won't stop you. if that's what you really want. Waterproof.. yes yes."

You raise an eyebrow. "Sunny. Are you okay if I clean you. You can say no, and I won't touch you. Promise."

His head turns slightly. His rays slowly extend an inch or so. "..Y-yes of- of course friend, it's okay- I'm okay with it!"

"Okay, lemme know if you're uncomfortable at any point and I'll stop, got it?"

Your throat tightens a bit at the implications of his words and the feeling they gave off. You can't imagine what kind of monster would hurt someone this sweet.

He nods.

Slowly you dab his face a bit, making your way around his cheeks, ducking into each crevice as his face shifts ever so slightly and the heat from his body gets noticeably warmer and warmer. The fans were audible before, but they're definitely whirring now. It almost sounds like.. purring. You giggle, and his eye opens a tiny bit before shutting quickly. His face is definitely a silicone type material. He responds every so often by twitching a tiny bit at certain areas of his face. ..Could he fucking feel that..? With his eyes closed, you think he cant see. "Hey Sunny?"

"Mm?" He hums, opening an eye just enough to observe you.

"Can you feel this?"

"Oh yes.. yes, sorry, I can't help jittering! It tickles.."

You pause to process that. Ah. So that's what the silicone-like material is.

"..Okay. Lemme know if it gets uncomfy, okie?"

He nods his head and closes his eyes again, still whirring like an oversized space heater.

He shivers a bit after you've finished cleaning his face with the rag, you move on to his rays.

They weren't sharp, but made of the same material lining the outer layer of his body. Trying to rub them down with the wash cloth was met with him whining and retracting the individual rays a bit. He didn't say anything, so you very gently cleaned them. Oddly however he keened into your touch, despite the conflicting body language and his whining. "Hey Sunshine, can you pretty please extend your rays out, I know it tickles but they do need to be cleaned as well. I'll try to be quick."

.."O-okay.. I'll try! It doesn't t-tickle just.. very very very oh sososo.. sensitive.." He squeaks out.

Hm.

He does really well actually, despite shaking a bit anytime you'd apply a bit more pressure to get out any more so stubborn filth. His voice box warbles too, almost like a hum, but inconsistent and staticky. He leans into your touch subtly occasionally, but you still notice it and grin.

"Okie dokie, looks like your face plate is all done."

He lets out a seemingly disappointed whine after you let up, and you cant help but smirk a little.

Checking your watch, ten minutes have past. A bit longer than you hoped so it looks like you'll have to pick up the pace.

"Hey Sunny, this is taking a bit longer than I hoped, so I'll try to be quick, but I definitely will want to get you back in later before I leave or tomorrow to finish up, ok?"

He whines, "O-oh nononono- Starlight, it's okay! It's all okay, promise, pinky promise. I have access to cameras in the Daycare, and if s-something goes wrong, I can be ther P!" He spells out the letters dramatically.

Oh, cool. I guess that makes sense.

"Oookay if you say so Sunshine." You giggle a bit at his neediness. It seems like he's enjoying this obviously, and you're not gonna take that away from him early if unnecessary. He deserves it.

Cleaning up the rest of his body, he leans into your touch every so often. Hands always tense in his lap fidgeting. Warm and whirring the entire time. You clean a bit more than you have to, but he doesn't seem to mind.

Finally you go over everywhere you've cleaned up with disinfectant wipes as a final touch, him responding the same as before to your oh so gentle touch. Static sometimes emanating from his speakers.

Your chest and tummy have been doing funny things the entire time. You ignore it.

"Annnd" as you wipe down his shoulders last while he tilts in the direction of your touch, "All done!" You giggle a bit, "You did very good, Sunshine, and you look so much better!"

He warbles and slowly opens his eyelids, fidgeting and wobbling, grasping at his faceplate, his rays spinning nervously, "A-aha, yesyesyes I.. I feel soooo much better too! Thank you sosososososososo much, Starlight. You're so very kind and sweet and wonderful and nice and-" Suddenly he cuts himself off, and leans into you quickly, arms wrapping around your back and hands finding their place around your sides. He's burning up, the shock from the sudden gesture is over quickly and you happily wrap your arms around his sides. His head is over yours, and you're tucked into his neck. You can feel and hear the mechanical whirring like purring in his torso while his hands grip your sides a bit more. You keen into him. If you stayed like this until you overheated, you honestly wouldn't mind. Comfy..

It's been about fifteen seconds too little before he pulls away, looking at you and your flushed pretty red face, seemingly shocked at his own action before his eyes widen.

He lowers, hands covering his face and eyes, only occasionally peeking out behind them while his rays shrink inside of his faceplate. "O-oh oh gosh oh nonononono I'm sososososo sorry! I didn't mean to- I just, you're so very sweet and- I hope that was okay.. I don't know what I was thinking. Silly silly silly silly silly silly silly. Not good not good, nonononono-"

You interrupt him as soon as you can, his ramblings so rapid and anxious it was almost unintelligible, "Sunny, Sunshine! You're okay! I promise. I wouldn't have hugged you back if I wasn't okay with it, I promise. It was very.. comfy.. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. You're okay."

You grasp for his hand slowly and he allows you to take it, rubbing his hands gently and making circles in his palm as he whines. "You're okay. It's okay."

Sun squeaks a bit before speaking, "A-are you sure..? I… Pinky.. promise..?"

You adjust from holding his hand to wrapping your pinky around his, using your other hand to gently rub his palm with your fingers and back with your thumb. "I promise, Sunshine."

He slowly leans back into you. Head over your shoulder as you wrap your arm around him, the other staying with his hand to hold it.

"You're okay, Sunshine."

"You're okay."
