For once, Moon's expression is shocked for a split second before he turns away from you. You're kinda making a bad habit out of saying bold things then immediately flustering yourself afterwards. You're shocked too, but you compose yourself and sit up in concern.
"..Moon..?"
His fans only whir louder at your voice. He's standing up, back turned to you and unresponsive. You rest your neck from looking up at him and shrink to reserve yourself as you sit criss-cross.
"..S-sorry.. I.. Moon..I just want you to know I don't favor Sun over you.. o-or vice versa - of course.."
Silence.
"..Are you okay? I.. I'm sorry for teasing you like that.." You finally notice him relax his body and detense from standing straight upwards before a low hum resonates in his chest before speaking.
"..Bad joke.. cruel."
You look back up to him and reach out to pull his baggy starred pants. "..Just.. come sit down, Moony. Please?"
He turns and glares at you, white eyes studying your face and it's pink hue. Turning back around, he crosses his arms and sits right where he is.
You guess you can accept the compromise. You sit up once more and inch closer to him before making yourself comfortable at his right side, close to the wall.
He's looking anywhere but you. It's abnormal, and you don't like the feeling it gives you. "..Moon.. it.. wasn't a joke. I.. like.. you both." You slowly lean into his side, hands still in your lap as you apply pressure slowly and gently until you can rest against his side.
"..I'm not doing anything else here besides caring about you. I promise."
Moon reverberates a low growl to your dismay.
"..Okay.. okay. I'll.. give you some space, Moon. You don't have to talk until you're ready." You push away from his side and position your leg to begin sitting up before his hand grabs your knee.
His surprisingly lukewarm palm makes contact with your skin through the tear in your jeans. It stops you from moving entirely, and you look up at him inquisitively.
Moon's gaze is still away from you, but his hand is on your knee - not allowing you to get up. "..Moon?" You let out a breath of air sharply from your nose when he's still reserved as ever despite his hand.
"..You need to talk to me Moon, alright? Do you want me to leave?"
His grip on your knee tightens, before turning his head further away from you.
"..No."
The deep crackle of his voice box lingers a while after the word is spoken. You relax and sit back down, pulling your knees up to your chest this time before resting your chin on them, Moon's hand now resting in his lap as the left supports his faceplate against it's palm.
You sit for a minute thinking, neither of you moving - frozen regardless of if he was actually cold. He wasn't right now, despite his fans best efforts to cool him down.
You look over cautiously to him, noticing his hand that was once on your knee resting along his criss-crossed legs. You reach over for it slowly, tilting to the left keening into him while he stares off away from you - unaware.
The second you make contact he flinches, but only an inch or two. You pull away as well regarding the gesture, observing his reaction, only hearing a low growl rise up out of his chest.
"..Can I hold your hand, Moon?" You study his half-visible face.
Moon only groans incoherently. You repeat yourself, asking for a verbal answer.
He doesn't give you one, but he does grab your hand lightly at the fingertips, his own fingers dwarfing yours. The first three are able to cover all four of yours with ease. You adjust your hand to further the grip while his contradictory growl lowers.
You lean into his side once more, this time, he actually looks down at you. Your flushed face and worried eyes process through his mind before turning away again, yet joining his other hand to encompass your own.
"..You're blushing." He points out, facing forwards, seemingly observing some of the kids' drawings on the wall.
You smile faintly despite your best efforts not to. "Uh.. well.. duh.. I.. I just asked you if you wanted a kiss.. and now you're acting really distant yet holding my hand after suppressing a.. a growl? I'm.. just really confused, Moon."
He hums lowly. "..Me too."
"..Just come back over to the beanbag, ok?" You lift yourself forward and waddle back to the purple beanbag, his hand still in yours as he crouches down following. You sit at the very edge before gesturing for him to sit next to you. He does, but refuses eye contact with you the entire time.
You lean into him, adjusting your hand to fit as well into his as possible. His fans are soothing white noise, regulating his temperature to be somehow absurdly comfortable. You melt into him.
Minutes pass before the low crackling returns a second for Moon speaks. "..I'm afraid."
You hum. "Of what?"
"..It will hurt worse if we lose you."
His words fester and begin to sting in your chest. You sit up before turning to face him.
"..Moon.. I don't ever plan to leave you. Either of you. I.. I'll fight to be here with you two, and even if I wasn't in a year-long contract, there's no place I'd rather be than with you two."
He finally turns to look at you, engaging in eye contact for just a second before you look down.
"..This weekend has been.. really.. something.. I.. I really, really, like you two. I will do everything in my power to make sure we're never separated. I promise."
His eyes bore into your soul - and you can feel the burning. A low growl rises once more before settling a few seconds later. Crackling begins.
"..Star..light.. you're too.. too good. Too sweet.. too sweet.. We don't deserve you. I certainly do not." A groan exits him before leaning over and resting his head on top of yours.
You squeeze his hand. "..You don't. You deserve better.. but.. I will always try my best to be here for you both. They'll have to pry my dead corpse away from you both if they try."
Static warbles out from his voice box directly in front of you positioned in his chest as he rests his head on top of yours. His fans whir their hardest as you rub his hand gently, nails tracing soft lines up and down his palm.
"..I wanna help you feel better, Moony. I'm here."
A purr-like trill just barely vibrates his frame, and before you have time to adore the sound, he's pushing you to the wall right of him.
Your eyes finally meet for longer than a few seconds. You can make out his face just barely darkened into a blue blush. You're against the wall, and Moon is creeping forward in a crawl with his hands on either side of you.
Moon's expression is flustered yet determined now, unlike how unreadably reserved he was earlier. He crackles and parts his lips to speak.
"..You.. want to help.. me.. feel better..? Mmm nononono.. Like you are the one that needs to make it up to me.. You're such a silly little problem, Starlight.. Let me solve you."
Moon is staring at you, a smile working it's way across his face as his sharp fangs bare and pseudo-saliva strings across his mouth. Your eyes observe his every move, expecting him to pounce at any second and tear you apart. He just watches, before releasing a sinister giggle.
"..Mmm Starlight, so very malleable. Your face is almost as red as my eyes in the deep dark.."
Crackling fills the air while your head clears the fog to process his words. You hadn't noticed your blush one bit, and with how fast Moon shifted his demeanor, you find it hard to believe until your face begins to burn in response to him running his claws up your arm every so lightly, goosebumps shockwaving as the line is drawn up to your shoulder. You can only look up to him as he towers over you on his knees and hand, still surrounding you completely.
He inches closer and evolves a growl into words.
"..You.. think I'm jealous of Sun? Nonono.. so very silly.. no.. I'm disappointed with how little he got done."
Your heart is pounding, mouth agape and eyes wide as he presses your shoulder into the wall. It doesn't hurt, but his expression suggests other intentions.
Suddenly his fingers grip and wrap around the collar of your shirt, pulling it down over your shoulder as you flinch. Moon swiftly responds with a jolt forward, pinning you against the wall with only his teeth holding your shoulder as you shudder and inhale sharply with a squeak.
You curse yourself for the noise internally as Moon comments on it right on que.
"..Mmm, such.. pretty.. little noises, little star.." He growls out as his canines slide against your skin to the soft spot in-between your neck and shoulder. You shiver as ripples of traitorous electric pleasure creep up your neck foreshadowing the route you expect Moon to take.
It still doesn't prepare you when he adds his tongue to the equation, coordinating with his teeth to tense your body against the wall leaving his left hand open to gently caress your side, dragging up your shirt, incredibly mindful of your bruising and surprisingly producing pleasure rather than pain.
He only releases the skin of your neck under your ear after stretching it outwards with his teeth. Moon adjusts his right hand to drag his claws up the line he just made, enticing another funny noise from you as the saliva lessens the friction and once more you're wracked with goosebumps and electricity.
Moon's words snake up and out his throat as you feel the warmth from his mouth right next to your ear. "..Staaaaaarlight.."
He squeezes the space in-between your neck and shoulder, an audible less than dignified noise escaping you to his delight.
"..Mmm.. Sun knows you'll let yourself suffocate in his mouth, he sees it in your needy little eyes when he has to pull you away."
He withdraws away from your ear and looks into your pretty, stunning eyes - inches away from your face. He chuckles maliciously, the deep growl vibrating your chest.
"..The difference is, little star.."
"..I'll let you."
Blue raspberry. You noticed his soft lips first, but the taste was there with the sensation of touch. He's.. a lot more aggressive than Sun.. his tongue is exploring your mouth, fighting your own to push further. As he growls and grips his fingers into your shoulder, you reach your hands up and slide them against his faceplate. He's absolutely feral and you're conflicted on how to feel about it, but for now the heat and tension building in your tummy entices you to hold him there in your mouth.
Your head is light, your arms are weak as your entire body numbs and burns. Your chest is on fire - the beating of your heart feels like it's draining the breath you're holding with each thump. The softness of his lips and tongue is addicting, and for some reason you're somewhat ashamed of, his claws digging into your shoulder have started to somehow feel good.
You can barely hold your arms to his face anymore. Your head lightens further and if your eyes were open, they'd be filling with dark spots - only the white light of his eyes alerting you to your fading vision. You weren't a hundred percent sure about the addiction of making out with these robots being a stronger urge than the necessity of breathing, but you can say with certainty now, you don't give a shit.
Your arms fall, and your head relaxes backwards. Sticky saliva strings snap and fall down your chin as he pulls away.
The sensation of his tongue and lips has left you and all that's left is your body begging you to breathe - him finally absent from your mouth. You reflexively exhale and promptly gasp for air while your ribs sting with each deep breath. You sink back against the wall as your head and arms slowly regain their strength thanks to the oxygen refilling your lungs.
Your eyes refocus, beginning to work again, and with the little breath you have reserved, you stare into Moon's eyes and struggle to force out intelligible words.
"..Moon.."
He smiles observing your parted lips and eyes begging for him to return. Your arms laying limp at your sides in a pitiful display of helplessness he savors for a few seconds.
"..let.."
He only watches stationary while you attempt to sit up and recall him back.
"..me.."
He chuckles before pushing you back against the wall with minimal effort.
A deep hum followed by crackling lurches out his voice box.
"Sleep well, Starlight."
He slowly inches forward, too slow for your liking. Your arm gains the strength to lift itself upwards, grabbing his faceplate before you connect once more.
You're limp as he catches you a minute later. Your head lightened passed the threshold, your world was spinning and your vision darkened despite the white LEDs burning through your eyelids. You melted into unconsciousness - the last sensations you felt being soft lips and a burning core.
