"Mooooon.." Sun echos inside of their headspace. "W-we really shouldn't be here.."

He ignores Sun, prying open the vent to the area next to their Daycare. They haven't explored the Plex in it's entirety quite yet, and Moon was curious.

"..Mmmh, what are you worried about? I'm just doing routine security patrols.. noooothing out of line, nono.." Moon grins as the vent creaks. He pulls against the vent, attached to the wall his right hand is dug into, meters above the ground.

A screw snaps and pops, one more to go.

Sun whines. "Y-you're breaking company property!"

"I can fit through with the bottom half bent. It's not like anyone will notice.." He scoffs.

This vent was being particularly difficult. A little more secure than the others. Looks like whoever was putting this one in actually did their job properly for once.

Moon heaves, but with only the wall to support him, it's somewhat difficult to use all of his strength given the lack of leverage. He pulls despite the aching in his hands.

Pop. Two pops. One for the screw, and another for one of his fingers.

"..F̶̥̔ü̴͉c̶̾͜k̷̾͜." Moon winces.

"W-what did you do? W-wha-" Sun cuts himself off as Moon raises up his hand to inspect it. His index finger is bent the wrong way. He growls while observing it, twisting his hand to view the damage entirely.

Sun's eyes would widen if he had a physical form currently.

"I-I.. M-Moon! Nonono n-not.. not good, no not good at all! I.. I don't want to put in a report, oh gosh.. oh.. they.. they're going to have to repair it! Moon, wh-" Sun is cut off.

"Be quiet." His voice raises inside their headspace, Sun reserves himself from panic. "We.. we can ask Bonnie for help.. maybe.. It.. will be okay. We don't have to request a repair."

Sun sighs. "..O-okay.. just.. be more careful, please.. O-oh.. it's going to hurt when I'm out, oh no.. d-does it hurt you, Moon? Are you okay..?" Sun's worry shifts.

"It's fine."

Moon crawls under and through the vent, making sure to avoid any contact with his left index finger.

Moon sneaks through the vents, a vague goal in mind. A turn he previously didn't make here, a drop he missed there. Eventually, he ended up at an exiting vent overseeing a room they hadn't explored before.

Moon peers through the shuttered vent, crimson red eyes reflecting off the gleaming metal in front of him just as it was encompassing around him as he snuck through the surprisingly clean, glossy vents.

Moon studies the room, the first thing catching his eyes being an orange and white striped lighthouse. There was a slide wrapping around it, with a walkway into the wall leading to a door. The room was dark, just as the rest of the Plex was at night, but the lighthouse held its purpose and glowed across the room with a dim, warm yellow light.

Moon pushed open the vent, flexibly stretching a foot in front of him and pressing against the bottom of the vent until it popped open with ease. Luckily this one wasn't as well put in as the previous one.

As he slithered down and onto the wall, it seemed the vent would correspond with the rest of the room. Neglected.

The cut-out clouds to his left were dirty and neglected. There were cardboard boxes and a few ladders scattered around the room like it was still being constructed. Half of the other cut-outs were barely painted or maintained; the waves missing some teal blue paint, the foam being only outlined.

The boat below him being attacked by tentacles charmed him as he crawled lower to the ground, and to his left, there stood a giant statue. A red fox. Bipedal. He had a purple trenchcoat on which Moon approved of, brown pants cut off at one leg which was replaced with a peg. Looking to the face, its mouth was full of golden teeth. The eye seemed to share this pirate-esque theme, it being covered with an eyepatch, the eyepatch being adorned with a cute little star on it.

Moon crawled to the floor, flipping his feet over himself as he planted them to the ground from the spider-like position he was climbing down it at. He scanned the room, stopping in his tracks upon discovering a sign. 'Kid's Cove'. The giant sign hung over the area, right above a gate they had yet to look down upon. A sun was illustrated to the right of the red word 'Kid's', while a crescent moon floated to the left of the blue 'Cove'. Clamshells and starfish littered around the design. They both couldn't help but ponder the parallels this new area made with them.

Moon unpaused and passed silly little cut-out barrels instead of real ones making his way to the tower before the gate to his right caught his eye.

It was painted with the same Sun and Moon symbol their main gate had. He froze in his tracks, observing the familiar entrance. He was going to make his way to the balcony floor overlooking the area, but a new goal arose suddenly.

Why was their gate here?

Moon used all nine intact fingers, lifting the large door upwards with protesting creaks. He ducked under, and it closed behind him.

It was completely dark now, and if he didn't have night-vision, he'd be blind.

It was cozy. A large area with an appropriately sized stage in front of him was sheltered by purple curtains, white outlined stars littering the fabric. Small colorful mats were strewn about the place, beanbags in front of the stage like movie-theater seats. The room hadn't yet forgotten the pirate theme the entire place seemed to fashion. Waves aligned the walls below painted murals and posters depicting a pirate-like crew of the main cast and their adventures on the high seas. It was spectacular, especially the pirate ship crashing in the waves as Freddy looked outwards across the vast blue and Bonnie manned the sails, sword in hand. Chica held a map, directing the vessel next to the familiar Fox that stood out front in statue form, steering the ship.

Moon's eyes glowed, if only he could see the bright color that complemented the room right now.

Sun was freaking out, not out of panic, but excitement.

"Moon! T-this area! O-oh gosh, the kids would love it! We could put on plays for them, a-and! Oh it's sosososo pretty, we have to get it cleaned up! We.." Sun slows.

"Where are we?" Remembering their themes also littering the place, especially given the sign advertising the area.

"Mmmmh, that's what I'm trying to figure out. Calm down." Moon groaned.

He walked to the left, a broken-down elevator under construction with yellow and electric-blue tape cutting it off from use. Luckily there were stairs, leading upwards.

Moon stepped up, three or so steps at a time, ducking under the doorway as he emerged above the room they were just in.

Stepping over the warning tape, he observes the area he found himself in. Exiting the stairwell next to the elevator, he exits the dim red lobby room, skulking through the large opening into another area. As Moon stood under the lobby room exit, in front laid large rubber toy blocks, similar to those in the Daycare, as well as some boxes that were definitely the exact same. A giant screen hung against the wall, curtains on each side. An actual movie theater it seemed, and he'd bet another finger that if he went a little further, there'd be dozens of chairs given how high the room seemed to extend.

For now, he simply slowly walked forward, briefly observing the carpeted stairway lined with matching red neon on its sides leading upwards. He'd explore that for later, as of now, Sun was harping him to look further into the theater, despite how hesitant he was before they found this new area.

Moon stops in his tracks as a booming announcer voice plays over the speakers the second they step into the theater.

"Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Fazbear Theater! Now enjoy the comedy stylings of: Staffbot!"

As Moon recovered from the voice filling the room, he looks over to left, the bot he failed to notice standing motionless on its wheels, almost lifeless. Moon hums and resumes walking forward to explore the room.

He was wrong, there weren't chairs, but benches. Not a disappointment, but he would've preferred beanbag chairs. Above the room resided stars, dimly showering the room in light. Whatever color they were, he couldn't see. Given how bright his night-vision had become, he disabled it, his eyes flicking to a snow-white hue.

Red and blue stars, all the colors of the rainbow finally revealed themselves to him. Blue patterned floor, switching from purple to pink in some places. It was overwhelming almost. Seeing color as rarely as he did, not through Sun's eyes was still a little jarring, but never unwelcome.

If he could see himself, his eyes would be twinkling. It was magical.

A smile crept upon his usually somber expression, listening to Sun ramble on about how wonderful he thought the area to be. He didn't disagree.

They took in the room for a few minutes more, walking around it, Moon making sure he vividly remembers the route he took to get here.

A pirate-themed play area below, and a movie theater above. Both have a semblance to their own themes here and there. Magical.

Moon finally turned and made his way to the stairs he once passed, wanting to see what was on and beyond the balcony above them. He turned the corner, brushing his hand against the railing, wincing briefly as his left index made contact before retracting his hand. He stepped up and between the crimson red neon which complimented his eyes just earlier as they were still red in night mode.

Finally up the stairs, Moon pauses to observe his left and right, deciding which way to go. On the far left, there was a vaguely lit poster, similar to the mural they saw down in Kid's Cove. It didn't look all too interesting, and leaning farther forward revealed the balcony once above them was simply another viewing area.

To the right, stood a small gate and concessions booth. They walked forward to discover more.

Trash cans, soda machines, and popcorn dispensers. There was a display cabinet where candy might be, and a counter to which food machinery resided behind. His head tilted inquisitively once noticing the large sign resting against the left wall.

Fazbear Theater was written on a large scroll in an upside-down U shape. Clouds connected above it, with a sun in the middle. On each side of the scroll, there rested their uncanny faces painted in gold. The one on the left was smiling, similar to Sun. The one on the right frowned, similar to Moon.

Moon grimaced at the sign, conflicted over their theme being used so eerily. He didn't necessarily like it, but Sun was more appreciative of the art. Maybe they actually would have reach beyond the Daycare.

Moon focused yet again on the gate, checkerboarded at the bottom as it transitioned into gray, then a dark blue for the top half, being complimented with yellow stars.

He was gentle prying open the gate, curious as to what was on the other side.

Nine fingers under, he lifted, and slid under before rising to his full height, bumping into something as the gate slammed shut behind him.

Someone.

"Ow, fuck, man." The guard landed on his butt, flashlight rolling behind him as he braced his arms to prevent hurting himself further.

Moon looked down, head turned to observe the security guard collecting himself before noticing the animatronic towering above him.

"Shit, Moon.." He looked up briefly, gathering his flashlight before making his way up to his feet once more.

Moon leaned forward an inch or two. "Language, Kai."

Kai scoffed. "Oh, right. Forgot you two were a stickler for the rules. Speaking of, why are you snooping around in.. wherever that is."

Moon hums as he towers above the security guard. "Mmh, patrols."

"Uh-huh.. And I don't think Sun had a broken finger yesterday." Kai points his flashlight like a laser pointer towards Moon's left index finger.

Moon growls, gripping his right hand around the flashlight, and switching the button off with his thumb.

"H-hey!" Kai yanks his hand back, the flashlight leaving his grip and staying within Moon's.

"Lights off." Moon drops the flashlight to the ground, it finally popping open and batteries spilling out.

Kai regains his composure. "..Oooookay, Moon. That's enough." He backs up and walks to the ticket counter on the side wall, reaching in before flicking at something.

Moon has already made two steps toward him before reaching a hand in his direction, inches away from Kai's arm.

The lights flick on above them as Kai switches the light switch off, and then back on, overriding the automatic night-time shutoff. He turns to face the animatronic that he left a couple of feet away from him.

Inches away from his eyes, is Sun's hand, frozen in time, right before grabbing at him.

"..Jesus.." Kai ducks under and away from the transformation which took place in less than a second as Sun's rays adjust and he recomposes, retracting his arm from the motion he was pleading with Moon to cease.

Sun suddenly swivels his head in Kai's direction. "O-oh.. Kai, f-friend.. I'm.. sososo sorry, I tried to stop him! I- I don't think he meant any harm, he.. just wanted to be out longer is all, yesyes.."

Sun reserves himself, backing away from Kai as he crosses his arms. "..Yeah, sure. I'm sure that's what he intended. Definitely wasn't going to hurt me." Kai walks over to pick up the flashlight and reassemble it.

Sun whines as Moon sulks in their headspace. He watches Kai assemble the flashlight before focusing his attention to him once more.

"Anyways, since Moon wants to be horrible as usual, wanna tell me what happened to your finger?" Kai pockets the flashlight, adjusting his dark hair to uncover his eyes as he looks up towards the robot.

"..Uh.. w-we were.. just exploring.. that's all, friend." Sun fidgets without touching his index finger. Kai walks towards him and reaches for it. Sun doesn't have a chance to pull away before he grabs it.

Sun winces and stumbles backwards, grabbing at his wrist as pain shoots through his body and into his CPU. "K-Kai! That.. that hurts.." he pouts.

"Yeah, I'm sure it does dude. Have you put in a repair request yet?"

Sun freezes, his face painted with worry.

"O-oh.. nonono, we.. we have it handled, yesyes.. It will be all okay, promise! We're going to get help from Bonnie! He'll help us get fixed right up!" Sun nervously explains hoping Kai wont request a repair for him.

Kai hums. "Mhm, okay. As long as it gets fixed. I won't call in any mechanics. But.. Sun, dude, they know what they're doing. You can't keep avoiding it forever. They're not hurting you intentionally, I'm sure."

Sun whines. "..But.. I tell them.. it does.. and they don't stop, a-and.. they yell when I protest further! It gets sososo loud.."

Kai sighs. "..They're just doing their jobs, and if it really does hurt, you should probably take it up with management or something. I'm sorry, but really. You can't keep avoiding repairs. It's for the best, you're tough bud, chin up. You can take it." Kai pinches his nose before checking his Fazwatch.

"..Next time I'm putting in the repair for you, alright? Either stop snooping around and getting me called down to check on things across the Plex, or face your fear. I can't keep breaking protocol for you two." Kai releases the watch to cross his arms once more.

Sun isn't looking into Kai's eyes anymore. He doesn't want to. He thought his friend would understand, not threaten him.

Awkward silence before Kai speaks up. "..Aaalright, I'm gonna head back now. Moon has like, four or so hours left in his patrols, don't turn the lights off until I'm out of here, got it? I'd rather not be torn to shreds tonight by your fucked up other half."

Sun finally looks up to meet Kai's eyes, but misses Sun's crushed expression when he's already turned and making his way down the long carpeted balcony. He sulks for a minute, averting his eyes to the ground to ruminate over the situation.

Kai was the closest they had to a friend in forever, and least for Sun. Moon didn't remember their time in the manufacturing plant. It always ends the same way regardless. He really thought Kai would understand. He was usually here during the day, rarely at nights like this one, so besides Bonnie who visited once every few weeks, Freddy less, Kai was the only person who wasn't plagued with causing pain for them, until now.

He'd visit Sun as he cleaned up the already spotless Daycare, talking with him about the rest of the Plex, subliminally giving Moon ideas as where to explore the following night. Sometimes Kai would linger here on his break, Sun even gifted him a few crude drawings to which he accepted with a smile. It was a highlight of their rather mundane days, and Sun was ecstatic to have someone who at the very least would tolerate them. It got so lonely sometimes.

They took every inch of closeness they could get to someone else, and just as always, all those inches were snatched away, meters at a time.

Sun couldn't confide in Kai anymore, he was afraid. He didn't want to be inspected for defects, for 'glitches' that were only him being himself. Any unusual behavior as they interacted with the few people that they would come into contact with would be reported as a malfunction. They were afraid to be themselves. Construction workers building up the final pieces of the Daycare only a few weeks after Sun was activated put in a report of him being overly friendly, clingy, touchy, handsy. He just wanted to help, and it was the first time the Daycare had seemed so alive. He made sure to keep his distance after the scolding he received when they realized it was simply his personality programming, and not something they had to run agonizing diagnostics over.

Maybe Kai was right. They haven't told anyone but him about the abuse, and he just confirmed the same thing the mechanics who would hurt them have been saying this entire time. It was routine, their pain was necessary. Deal with it. This is how things were, nothing was going to change that.

They would focus on the stars in the night sky, not the spaces in-between.

They can only be so careful to not damage themselves, but they can't help when a wire slips or a motor malfunctions. Routine maintenance is mandatory, once every single week. Sometimes they could get by with just answering verbal questions, however with some mechanics, they'd perform their jobs to exact specifications. Invasive, painful specifications.

No matter how much Sun wanted Kai to be their friend, all they could do now was project false happiness upon him, and potentially end up hurt even worse.

Moon was used to being the second choice, he didn't even really try to make friends anymore. Sun hadn't learned this yet, but Moon gave up long ago - he's already seen enough from people to want to have friends. To Moon, it's foolish of Sun to hold such hope after all this time. The risk of being hurt was worse was greater than the scarce chance they'd actually have someone that treated them decently. All that was left now was their purpose - to work.

After they got Bonnie's help to fix their finger that is. At least Bonnie was nice and moderately sympathetic to them. Freddy was just business, and they rarely even saw any other animatronics.

Maybe they can bring it up with Bonnie. Maybe he can help. Others like them have to experience this, right?

Sun dragged himself over to flick off the lights, waiting for Moon to take over so he can rest and collect himself after the agonizing ordeal.

Moon hums one of the pre-programmed lullabies he knows of hand, before catching onto something else. The Daycare Theme. He could hear it, and he unknowingly began humming along.

Rising his gaze up from the floor, he observed the area. Making his way through posters and tables, he arrived at the Daycare lobby, the stairs leading to the bathrooms and employee breakroom below.

They were right next to the Daycare. The Fazbear Theater and Kid's Cove was built in right next to them, just up the stairs and along the same floor the lobby shared. Simply wrapping around the Daycare, you could access both attractions.

This brightened Sun's mood once more as he brushed aside the dread of losing yet another friend and let the excitement of having more areas to entertain the children pour in.

Moon smiled weakly at Sun's enthusiasm before climbing up a wall, and into a vent he'd already unsealed.

Sliding through the vent, Moon climbed down the arcade wall. He composed himself as he rose, proceeding to walk through the neon yellow arches into Bonnie Bowling.

Moon stepped over the few steps descending onto the waxy wood floor, the only light reflecting off of it being dim green and pink stars lining the walls and TV screens above and further down the bowling lanes. Moon watches as a cartoon Bonnie spins a bowling ball on his left index finger. He pulls his own up, observing exposed metal and wiring as it bends backwards out of place. He hums.

Moon walks all the way to the left of the bowling alley, to the food court where Bonnie's small little stage resides. Red, white, and gray checkerboard floor transition from glossy brown as he steps up and into the kitchen-like area.

"Bonnie." Moon calls out, hearing clanking in response from the backrooms of the kitchen.

Thumping as a large purple bunny animatronic peers out through the opening connecting the counters and the backroom. Bonnie lowers his golden outlined star glasses, peering over them rather through the purple-tinted lenses. He smiles.

"Oh! Moooondrop, how're doin' buddy!? Aren't you supposed to be on patrols?" The bunny's voice echos through the bowling alley as he walks to the door and out around the counter, tall ears hitting the top of the doorframe.

He's adorned in purple straps connecting to the same color zebra-patterned pants, one leg cut off halfway down. His wrists are adorned with spiky cuffs, a little further lay shiny shoulder pads. The golden stars on his chest and left cheek sparkle like glitter-glue which Sun always adored.

Moon hums. "Mmmh, well, I'm sure the guards have that covered. Afterall.." Moon raises his hand. "I.. need your help."

Moon still towers over him, but both him and Sun look up to Bonnie. He's kind, always so so kind whenever they're together. He's drawn for them in the Daycare when they're lonely, and the once barren corkboard has a few of his drawings on them now.

"Ah, darn, and here I was thinkin' you wanted to bowl. Guess you have a valid excuse now though, huh?" Bonnie chuckles as Moon rolls his eyes.

"Mmmmh.. maybe after we get this fixed, Bon."

Bonnie wraps his arm around Moon's torso as they walk. "Oh gosh, I hope so. It's been far too long! Ah.. Sorry I haven't visited as much, Freddy has us all super busy.. But, you'reabsolutely always welcome here, Sun and you both!"

Moon detenses after the initial shock of someone touching them that didn't result in pain. It was a habit they'd have a hard time breaking.

"Mmmh.. thank you, Bonnie." His smile widens, however not letting Bonnie see.

"Alright, Parts and Service here we come." Bonnie lets go and leads the way. Moon briefly cringes at the thought of the room. Bonnie was here now though, it'll be okay.

The walk there was nice. Dim neon filled the rooms as they passed spectacle after spectacle. The Plex would be magical, if only what beneath the surface wasn't so rotten.

Moon walked slower than usual to allow Bonnie to lead him, ducking under maintenance tunnel beams while they slowly inched towards Parts and Service.

"Aaaand here we are!" Bonnie opens the door before ushering Moon in, taking notice of his slight hesitation and that specific look on his face while he gazed into the room.

The room is dark, and as soon as Moon enters, his eyes swap from white to red. Bonnie follows, lowering his glasses to look above the tinting. He calls out to Moon before he completely disappears from the dim light of the lamps in the tunnels.

"Hey, Moon, I uh, can't really see in here. Do you mind if I turn the lights on? I'ma need to see if I wanna help you."

Moon stops, sighs, and turns. "Yeah, go ahead."

Bonnie gives Moon a weak smile before turning to the light switch and feeling around for it. Down, then up. The lights buzz to life.

Bonnie watches closely as Moon changes to Sun, always savoring the spectacle. He really did admire the bots, he found them interesting on top of his general admiration of them.

Sun perks up a second after the lights switch on, jumping up and towards Bonnie. "Oh! Hi friend! Oh it's sosososo good to see you!"

Sun rushes over before enveloping Bonnie in his arms, spinning him a few times before setting him down. "It's been absolutely forever! Oh, I'm sososo glad you can help, i-if anyone, we're glad it's you!"

Bonnie collects himself with a smile as he recovers from being lifted by the robot in front of him. "Ah, well, yeah, missed ya too Sundrop! Your enthusiasm is.. never lacking."

Bonnie adjusts his glasses before walking over to the spare parts area and sifting through their respective drawers. Sun watches anxiously.

It.. it's taking a while, and Sun picks up on this as Bonnie stands to his full height, closing the drawer. Bonnie turns, and with a slight frown, breaks the bad news.

"I.. guess they just don't have many of your parts in quite yet bud, I'm sorry - b-but" He adds, noticing Sun's eyes widening in dread. "We might have some luck in the basement warehouse. You're not out of luck yet, big guy."

Sun exhales, before a hopeful smile returns to his face. He perks up straight and rests his hands on his hips, careful not to hit the injured finger. "Well! Let's get going!"

Bonnie watches as Sun briefly looks towards the capsule in the back center of the room, before he turns away suddenly in a jolt, picking up speed towards the exit.

In the dark of the Plex, Moon returns.

Bonnie breaks the silence halfway through the journey.

"So, Moondrop, how was the roaming tonight? Find anything interesting?" Bonnie looks back as Moon doesn't answer instantly.

Moon tilts his head. "Hm? What do you mean?"

Bonnie laughs before turning to walk backwards, facing Moon, raising his hands in a wide gesture. "C'mon Moon, I know you love exploring via the vents. Did ya find anything interesting?"

Moon rolls his pinprick white eyes within the pitch-black void they reside in. "Mmh, well.." He looks to Bonnie before deciding whether he should disclose what he did find. "Ugh, mmh.. we found a play theater.. and a regular theater, something about a comedy bot.."

"Ooooo.." Bonnie turns to watch where he's going, still listening curiously. "Is that all?"

"Mmh, no. It.. was themed with a sun and moon - both of the attractions. Kid's Cove, and Fazbear Theater.. Sun.. and I.. were hoping they would include us, as it is right next to the Daycare."

Bonnie expresses his excitement. "Oh! Really!? A movie theater, and a play theater? Kid's Cove I'm guessing?"

"Mhm. Really pirate themed, seemed to have an animatronic it's based on that I haven't seen yet.. a red, pirate fox." Moon loosens up at Bonnie's seemingly genuine interest.

Bonnie looks over his shoulder. "Huh, can't say I've seen an animatronic that looks like that. I do hope it is for ya though bud, that'd be really fun!"

Moon smiles as they finally reach the stairs down to the warehouse, and proceed downwards.

"Alright Moon, gonna turn the lights on now, alrighty?" Bonnie hovers his hand over the lever.

"Mhm."

Bonnie watches the transformation briefly before getting to work sifting through the even more-so cluttered area, definitely not as organized as Parts and Service. They should probably get someone down here to fix that.

Sun fidgets with his nine other fingers. "O-oh gosh, messy messy.. nonono.." His gaze darts around in a light panic, observing how horribly dusty and disorganized the large room is.

Bonnie notices Sun's dismay before walking over to calm him down. "Hey now Sundrop, it's okay. If you want, you can clean up a little if that makes you feel better..? I'll do my best to clean a little too as I search for a spare finger that fits your.. unique endoskeleton."

Sun whines before perking up, he looks to Bonnie for less than a second, darting off as his words process to clean and organize the mess. Bonnie smiles and begins sifting through the parts and pieces littered on the ground in random boxes while Sun darts around the room, already creating a plan in his mind to where everything should go, dragging a trash can over as he points and contemplates clean-up to max efficiency.

It's been not even ten minutes and the room looks better already. Even though it's massive, one portion of it is already neat and tidy while Sun is working on the rest. It's a little unnerving collecting and organizing endoskeletons, even more so when he reaches the far back, finding a mostly intact one, even with an exoskeleton attached.

Sun freezes, staring it down.

"B-Bonnie!" The name echos throughout the warehouse. Bonnie jolts up, hitting his ears on the drawers above him before turning to the source.

He looks down the room, meeting Sun's eyes in the far back right corner, the only readable expression being shock.

As Bonnie walks towards Sun, he's already arranging the exoskeletons away from whatever he's working on currently. Bonnie's eyes shoot open as he rounds the hanging endoskeletons and finally sees an unobstructed view of whatever got Sun so worked up.

A red fox.

Bonnie's mouth drops. "Oh.."

Sun turns to Bonnie, smiling ear to ear. "B-Bonnie! It's the fox! It's the fox! T-the one from Kid's Cove! Look look, he has the star eyepatch, a-and the hook hand, and peg leg! O-oh gosh, why is he so.. oh poor thing.. nonono, we.. we can fix him up, right..? Right, Bonnie?"

The fox animatronic is missing a leg and its lower jaw, golden teeth visible as they glint in the light. His torso and arms are missing pieces, revealing his endoskeleton beneath. His eye not curtained by the eyepatch is lifeless. He's just sitting there, propped up against the wall, dust filling ever nook and cranny it can reach.

Bonnie sighs. "Oh.. I.. wish we could.. Sun.."

Sun's mood instantly shifts noticing the tone of Bonnie's voice. He turns to him, worry painting his face.

"Sun.. It's.. almost a month before the Plex is scheduled to open. I.. I think if they wanted him up, he would be operational already.. I'm.. sorry, Sun." Bonnie watches Sun with a frown.

Sun sulks, and Bonnie steps forward to reach for his uninjured hand.

He flinches backwards seeing Bonnie about to make contact with him, before recomposing himself, staring into Bonnie's eyes.

"..Sun.. are you alright? That's not your hurt hand, is it?" Bonnie recalls his hand to his chest.

Sun only hums, looking away towards the broken little fox on the floor.

"..Hey.. why.. didn't you put in a repair request?" Bonnie watches Sun closely.

Sun's face scrunches up, before turning further from him.

Bonnie sighs. "I.. I know, bud. It's not very fun when you have to get repairs. But.. you don't have to be afraid, they know what they're doing. It's not going to-" Bonnie is cut off as Sun suddenly turns and interrupts him.

"They don't! It hurts! It hurts! A-and I tell them that! But.. they - they just don't listen! They yell! And.. they.. they threaten.. me.. they tell me I'm being annoying! It's scary, a-and I am afraid.. and.. I don't like it! Nonono.. not.. not good.." Sun slows and quiets as he crouches down, clutching his rays as his fans whir.

Bonnie is in shock, he can only stare.

Seconds pass as Bonnie processes the information.

"..Sun.. what..? They.. hurt you?"

Sun whines. His rays retract.

"..Oh.. Sun.. can I try something really quick? I'm going to need to touch you, but it won't hurt. I promise." Bonnie crouches down to where Sun has lowered himself.

Sun turns, hesitantly looking into Bonnie's eyes. He nods before burying his face in his hands.

Bonnie slowly reaches for Sun's arm, before brushing his paws along it. "..Can you.. feel.. this?"

Sun nods, still reserved into his palms.

Bonnie applies light pressure. "And this?"

Nodding.

Bonnie makes sure the hand he's touching is the uninjured one, before carefully placing one of his fingers onto Sun's pinky finger, his eyes covered by his hands. "..And which finger am I touching right now?"

"..Pinky.." Sun uncovers his face and looks up to Bonnie.

Bonnie's mouth opens in shock, his ears fall slightly. "You.. your senors are.. extremely advanced, Sun. You.. can feel pain."

Sun's eyes widen inquisitively. "W-what..?"

Bonnie stands. "..The rest of us, everyone I know really, we only feel pain if something is vitally wrong with us, and only sensation dealing with pressure as to not hurt someone accidentally. You seem to have sensors throughout your entire body.. I.. wouldn't be surprised if it's almost exactly comparable to.. human skin. I can't exactly feel the texture, but the outer layer covering your exoskeleton does look soft now that I'm really studying it."

Bonnie watches as Sun rises, still reserved, slightly crouched. "..I.. I told them.. they.. wouldn't listen.. they don't.." He whines.

Bonnie opens his arms. "Hey, I promise. I'll talk with Freddy and get him to speak with management. We'll make this known, I promise. You won't ever have to hurt again, bud. Gosh, I'm so sorry."

Sun falls into Bonnie, wrapping around him. His fans and coolant system whirs. If Bonnie could feel temperature, it'd be burning up in the immediate area.

They stay like that for a few minutes. It's something entirely new for Sun. He'd never had a hug before. Never.

Bonnie chuckles. "..Alright bud, wanna get that finger fixed up? I'll do my best to be gentle, I promise. Pretty sure I found the parts earlier."

Sun pulls back, a warm smile across his face as his rays extend from the hug. He nods.

Bonnie sorts through the large box he was looking though earlier once more as Sun sits on the table. behind him. "Aha, strike!"

Sun perks up as Bonnie pulls out a hand that resembles Sun's. "Aaaand there's your new index. Lemme get this disassembled and we'll be ready."

Bonnie heads over to the toolbox behind Sun on the opposite side of the table, pulling out tools, he works at the hand. Sun turns his head a complete 180 and watches.

Bonnie hums. "Glad they have spare parts, but down here is usually for just junk equipment, and you're definitely not junk, Sun, not by a long shot."

Sun smiles. "..Thank you, Bonnie.. you're the kindest friend we've ever had."

Bonnie looks up, worry plastering his face. "Ever? That's.. not good.. You're a very nice robot, Sun, you and Moon.. usually. I do not get why anyone would ever want to upset you. I'm sorry."

Sun's head drops before returning back up to its original position just as fast. "I-it's okay! Now we have you! Yesyes.. I hope we can be best friends forever! Oh.. I'm sososo glad you're going to help us.. it's been so.. bad.. for so long.." His head drops once more.

Bonnie pops off the finger. "..You shouldn't have had to go through that, I hope to make it right, Sun."

Sun hums, noticing the approaching repair.

Bonnie makes his way around the table, stopping in front of Sun.

"..Okay.. I.. don't think I know how to make this not hurt.. I'm so sorry, Sun, I'll try to be quick."

Sun whines.

"..Your finger is modular it looks like. It should just pop right off after I loosen the joint, I'll be quick. Are you ready?" Bonnie's ears drop.

Sun hesitates, but nods quickly after shutting his eyes.

It's seconds, but it feels like minutes at least while Sun squeezes his wrist still while Bonnie unscrews and loosens the finger before popping it off, and popping the new one right in place. tightening the joint once more. His sensors were acting like they were supposed to, he hated it.

Sun's fans whir quieter and quieter as he relaxes and Bonnie rubs his hand gently. Eventually, his eyes open, and the bunny is right there in front of him, consoling.

"..You okay, bud?" Bonnie watches as Sun takes his time.

"Y-yeah.. I.. I'm glad it was you.. sososo very kind.. yes.. T-thank you.." Sun pouts.

Bonnie smiles as his ears perk up. "Anytime. You can always come to me, Sun. Promise."

Bonnie wraps his pinky finger around Suns, smiling.

As Bonnie releases, Sun fidgets with his new finger. Everything is working just right it seems, and he smiles.

He looks over to the decrepit fox animatronic, and Bonnie follows his eyes.

Bonnie hums, then sighs. "..Okay.. if you can find me a manual.. I'll see what we can do. I'm sure there's one around here some-" Bonnie stops mid-sentence as sun leaps up and resumes his organizing, looking for an instruction manual corresponding to the bot as he cleans.

Bonnie just watches for a few minutes, before Sun yells out his name after emptying some filing cabinet drawers near a somewhat neater portion of the room.

Bonnie walks over with a smile. Sun is glowing, his grin wider than Bonnie had ever seen before. "I found it, I found it, I found it!" He shrieks.

Sun hands the large manual to Bonnie. It should be a hardcover book given its thickness. Bonnie reads as Sun looks over his shoulder.

'Foxy the Pirate Fox. - Glamrock Foxy'

Bonnie sighs. "Oookay, guess we're in too deep now. If we get him running, maybe I can convince Freddy to add the finishing touches. It's gonna take a bit, but.. if you really wanna-"

Sun squeezes Bonnie's shoulders. "Oh! YesyesyesyesYES! Please! I would absolutely LOVE a new friend!"

Bonnie giggles, making his way back to the table as Sun follows. "Alright bud, lemme read.."

"Aren't you excited!? Aren't you excited!?" Sun flutters around the Daycare, just before ten when the lights go out, and the majority of construction workers and engineers leave.

Moon hums inside their headspace, trying desperately not to give Sun the satisfaction of seeing him ecstatic. "I.. guess. Yeah, I'm excited."

"I knew it, I knew it!" Sun clasps his face in his hands, he feels like he's going to burst from the energy. "O-okay, so, just head down to the warehouse as soon as the lights go out, okay!? We'll meet Bonnie there, a-and, then we just do the finishing touches, and! O-oh gosh, I can't wait!"

Moon starts to giggle for a second but catches it a moment later. "Mmh.. sure thing, Sun."

Lights off.

There's a thump as Moon drops from the vent above Bonnie, landing directly behind him. Bonnie jumps and turns with a jolt, relaxing his body before realizing it's just Moon. "Fuck!"

"Language."

Bonnie groans. "Okay, but you've gotta stop doing that, Moon." He lets out a quick chuckle before organizing the power cables best his can in the box before lifting and carrying them over to the still somewhat messy animatronic hanging up on the rack.

Moon follows, creeping behind him, hands clasped together behind his back. "Sooooo, everything is.. fine? His AI isn't touched?"

Bonnie turns after dropping the box to the ground. "Yup, his chip is completely intact, it looks like we just needed to repair him physically and soon - charge him. That should be all, hopefully we won't have to deal with any software issues. You were a huge help retrieving the parts from Parts and Service, Moon. Seriously, thank you. I'm glad you could work on this too." He smiles at Moon.

Moon averts his little white eyes as a smile creeps across his face, he turns with a flip of his nightcap, only showing it for a second. "..Mmmmh.. yeah, well.. I am glad."

The dim lamplight shining across the room is enough for Bonnie to do basic organization, preparing for the switch-on, but hooking up the cables and actually turning Foxy on should be done in the light.

Moon studies Foxy - they gave him a new leg, patched up his exoskeleton with plastic pieces, and gave him a new jaw they had to manually 3D print in Parts and Service. Sun had a lot of fun painting the gold teeth, adding some glitter glue to them while he was at it. They sparkled, and not just in direct light now.

Moon hums in his headspace. "..Sun, you should be here, I think."

Sun whines, hoping Moon won't feel left out. "..But.. awh, are you sure? I want you to feel included as well!"

Moon walks towards the main light controls near the stairwell that leads down into the warehouse room. "I'm sure. Good luck."

He switches the light on as the transformation begins, Bonnie makes sure to watch every second of it.. which is just one, given how quick it actually is. Regardless, he likes it when the clothes swap in a flash and the sunrays pop out one by one, in an almost wave-like motion.

As Sun comes to, he skips to where Bonnie is standing.

Bonnie grabs some cables, hooking them up into the back of Foxy. "Oookay, can you go plug this end into the socket? Make sure the power is flipped off though, not ready quite yet, and who knows what'll happen when we actually turn him on."

"O-oh, yesyesyes! Of course!" Sun giggles and giddily hops to Bonnie, grabbing the end cord out of his hand before twirling around him, bouncing to the socket. He makes sure the socket is set to off using the little switch next to it, and plugs the cable in. He half expects the animatronic to jolt to life, but nothing happens.

Sun whines as Bonnie reads through the manual, double, triple, and quadruple checking everything. "Mmmmh, Bonnie! S-sooo, are we gonna turn him on..? Are we? Are we? Are we? A-"

Bonnie reaches the last page. "Yes! Alright, you can flip the switch now bud. B-but this is just a test run, don't expect-"

Sparks fly as the robot hanging between them stiffens. Bonnie jumps backwards to create distance between Foxy and him, unsure what to really expect. Sun runs to join Bonnie, hands fidgeting quickly as his tummy turns and anxiety rises.

A few seconds, and the animatronic relaxes.

Sun squeezes his hands tight, the tightness in his chest refusing to die down.

Sun looks to Bonnie. "Did.. did we do something w-"

The chains clinked together as Foxy jolts once more.

"-̸̻̀d̶̲͠ŏ̷͚ṅ̵̙'̴̛̟t̵̲͂ ̷̭̈d̸̞̓o̴͇̿n̷̰͂'̸̺͘t̸͙̾ ̵̦́d̵͔̽o̶̖͗n̶̗̽'̷̀ͅt̷̟̎ ̵̨͝d̸̼̾o̷̿ͅn̸̦͊'̸͇̚t̶̘̀ ̷̡̀ḏ̵̈́o̶̗̽ń̴͉'̸̡̔t̵͕͂ ̶̢͝want to turn off, please!"

He's still shaking, limbs jerking in ever direction. Slowly, it stops. Sun and Bonnie simply observe in shock as the animatronic calms. A minute later, he's still twitching, but finally, he opens his eyelid.

Yellow light in the center of his pupil scan the robots in front of him. The star-adorned eyepatch on his right eye flips up, the cavity emitting a thin red glow, similar to Moon's. It shuts after being open for a split-second.

He speaks.

"Ah.. m̸̬̅-̷̨̂m̸̼̃ateys.. where.. am I?" He relaxes limp, occasional twitching still causing convulsions across his frame.

Sun straightens up.

"..H-hey.. Foxy - friend! You're in the warehouse.. a-are you feeling okay?" He steps forward before Bonnie holds out a hand to stop him from approaching too close.

The animatronic groans. "Aye.. well.. as well as I can be after bein' decommissioned.."

Sun's face fills with shock. "Y-you were.. decommissioned? Why? What happened?"

Foxy's head drops, ceasing his study of the two. "I.. did nothing. They simply.. didn't need ol' Foxy the Pirate anymore. Aye, budget cuts or somethin' of the sorts.. replaced me with one of them StaffBots.."

Bonnie's ears drop. He finally speaks. "I'm.. so sorry. We.. we wanna try and fix you up and incorporate you back into the Megaplex.. I hope we can.." He doesn't know what else to say. Bonnie knows the chances are slim, but he can't tell him that.

Sun's rays tuck into his faceplate. "Y-yes! I-I work close to Kid's Cove, a-and the Fazbear Theater! Maybe we could work together, be veryvery good friends, yes!" His rays shoot out hopefully, spinning hesitantly.

Foxy groans. "Thank you, but.. I am not sure that will be the case, nay. I.. am grateful to your efforts though mateys, but don't stick yer necks out for me, hear? You don't want to end up like me."

Sun whines. "I-I'm not going to quit on you! Nonono, we can help! It'll.. it'll be okay, I'm sure of it, friend."

Bonnie steps forward. "Yeah, Foxy, I think Freddy will listen to me. We can help, we want to help. Just work with us, alright bud?" His ears perk up.

Foxy hums. "Arr.. I guess. Jus' get me down from here, I want to see if I can walk - me peg leg feels numb."

Bonnie smiles before stepping around Foxy and adjusting the chains. "Alright, ready? You're gonna have to catch yourself, but I'll guide you down."

"Aye." His legs don't adjust.

He drops, and Bonnie catches him.

Foxy groans. "Ah, so.. that's why I couldn't feel 'em."

Bonnie holds him under his arms, adjusting him to sit upright before moving out from behind him. "Told you I got ya though, bud."

Sun is already front and center, ready to provide help if anything went wrong, luckily, Bonnie had the situation handled. "O-oh, friend. Are you okay!? It didn't hurt, did it?" Sun drops to his knees in front of Foxy.

He chuckles. "Nay, jus'.. can't feel me legs is all."

Bonnie steps up before making his way to the table behind them. "Should be an easy fix with proper technicians. We did our best, but.. we're just robots. We barely know our own anatomy." He retrieves some cables, returning to the scene.

Bonnie slides the fallen chains across the concrete floor out of the way before dropping to his knees to join Sun, at the side of Foxy. "Oookay, now here comes the tricky part. Gotta see if this is a hardware issue, or a software issue. Movement stuff with us can go either way."

Sun perks up. "O-oh! Oh! I know movement, oh me and Moon know sososososo much movement! Very very very flexible, yesyes.." Sun demonstrates his statement by bending backwards, retracting his rays, and squeezing his head in-between his legs, smiling the entire time. "Flexible and athletic, yes!"

Bonnie giggles as Foxy watches in awe. "Arr, they're uppin' their game now I see."

Sun unfolds as he smiles ear to ear, nodding up and down while he pops his rays out one by one.

Bonnie sighs. "Hm, alright. Just take a look around, Sun. Don't change anything. Being inside another robot's head, or really any software you're compatible with is pretty straightforward. But, seriously. Don't change anything."

Sun's eyes widen. "O-oh? I.. I'm going in..?"

Bonnie carefully connects the specified wire to Foxy's exposed motherboard. "Yep, you're the movement expert, aren't ya? You'll be fine. Just follow my instructions, and skim through. You should be able to find code regarding motor function quite easily."

Sun whines. "Oookay.. i-if you're sure.. I trust you.."

Bonnie smiles. "I trust you too bud. This shouldn't hurt, I'm just opening a small panel on the back of your head."

Sun flinches away. "H-how'd you know that was there!?"

Bonnie giggles. "I don't jus' have Foxy's manual."

Foxy watches the altercation between the two, and can't help but smile as much as his face would allow, which isn't much given how crudely he'd been put back together. He's really warming up to his new friends, he's willing to embark on this voyage, no matter how long, or how short.

Sun's humming devolves into a whine. "Ah, o-okay, okay. Just.. be careful.."

Before he knew it, Sun was flooded with more information than he knew what to do with. Bonnie could see it in his eyes, he was freaking out a little. "H-hey, Sun. Just focus on me right now, alright? It's gonna take a bit of getting used to."

Sun isn't responding.

Within an instant, all of a sudden, both of the animatronics next to him go limp and fall to the ground.

Bonnie freezes in shock. "O-oh shit."

The cables had become undone as they fell, luckily Bonnie didn't have to worry about removing them. He did have to worry about whether or not he just killed two of his friends.

Bonnie crawls frantically to Sun. "Sundrop, Sundrop! Bud! C'mon, you're okay!"

He looks back to Foxy, unmoving, before refocusing on Sun. He backs up, grabbing at his face and squeezing. "Fuck!"

Sun's eyes suddenly shoot open, and he jolts upwards. His hand immediately and reflexively shuts the panel behind his head.

Bonnie stares. "Sun..? A-are you okay?"

Sun focuses on Bonnie.

"Bon.. Y-you.. ah, you said it'd be okay! O-oh.. oh no.." He whines, his eyes focusing on Foxy laying backward on the concrete floor.

Bonnie turns to attend to Foxy now, glad that Sun seems to be okay. "..I-it should've! That wasn't supposed to happen! You didn't change anything, right? O-oh gosh, did Foxy? No.. that's.. a one-way cord. I.. I have no idea what could've caused this, Sun. That was absolutely not supposed to happen!"

Sun is frantically inspecting Foxy, he doesn't know what to do. He's helpless. Why couldn't something just go well, for once? His rays are gyrating, his fans whir as panic sets in. The power cord is still connected, why isn't he on? What did he do!?

Bonnie pulls him back. "..S-Sun! Calm down, please! It's okay, we.. we'll figure it out! It'll.. it'll be-"

Foxy jolts. They both refocus on their friend.

Sun reaches for him. "O-oh, Foxy! A-are you okay!? Oh.. gosh we have no idea what happened, we-"

Foxy extends his hook and swipes across Sun's faceplate. It catches onto him, digging into the silicone-like material, before ripping through as he's flung to the side and into the wall with a loud crash.

They fixed his legs. He's working his way to his feet.

Bonnie freezes as the animatronic steps up to tower over him. "S-Sun!? W-wha.. Foxy, what did you do? W-why!?"

The twitching resumes as Foxy straightens upwards above Bonnie. His jaw bends open, farther than it's supposed to. It snaps, and a hydraulic disconnects from where it was connected. His jaw hangs to the side, still connected, just barely. His golden teeth glitter in the light, every single one of them now.

Foxy's star eyepatch opens, red glows down upon Bonnie. He's frozen beneath him, watching in shock, unable to move out of fear.

Foxy lunges to Bonnie, wrapping his hand around his neck, pinning him to the ground as his hook raises above them both. It swipes as fast as his motors would allow.

It digs into Bonnie's face, to which he feels pain for the first time. Foxy drags the hook to one side, forcing Bonnie's face to lay sideways against the concrete. Foxy digs his knee into Bonnie, releasing his hand around his neck before digging into the back of his head, gripping the covering to his motherboard.

Foxy pulls, and falls.

Sun tackles Foxy, sending them both flying into hanging exoskeletons. Foxy screeches as he's torn from Bonnie.

Bonnie snaps out of it. He watches as fighting ensues, before forcing his body to roll over, drilling his knee to the ground as he pushes up onto his feet. He looks to the clashing for just a second, enough to watch as Sun is thrown across the room, not even a foot in front of him.

Sun is the farthest target. Foxy now Focuses on Bonnie.

He jolts forwards, before being pushed out of the way as Sun barrels back the way he came. He doesn't look again, he just plants one foot at a time into the concrete beneath him.

The ripping that Bonnie hears momentarily comes from Sun clawing into Foxy's abdomen, surgically removing his lower half.

Further crushing and tearing of metal fills the room, before silence finally takes its place.

Bonnie turns, looking behind him.

Sun has stuck his arm straight through Foxy, whose limbs are either torn to shreds or ripped clean off - the entire bottom half of Foxy is missing. His endoskeleton spine sticks out of his mangled torso, wires sparking as his head jerks in protest.

"S-sun.." Bonnie chokes out.

This was a mistake. Sun's head flicks to meet Bonnie's gaze, before Sun turns his torso, his feet shortly following as he steps forward, Foxy still hung above him, impaled by his arm.

Foxy turns his head, what's left of it, to stare at Bonnie, then back to Sun.

"M-Matey.. w̴̧̛̥̲͓̞̱̗͇̼̮͒͌̽͐̍̆-̸̢͈͕̄̄̈́̕͝w̴̧̛̥̲͓̞̱̗͇̼̮͒͌̽͐̍̆-̸̢͈͕̄̄̈́̕͝what.."His voice box crackles as Foxy slowly comes to, recovering from the pure trauma Sun inflicted, forcing himself to resurface.

Bonnie adjusts his leg to turn and back away, slowly.

"Sun.. p-please. Put him down."

Sun on command, reaches his other hand up, and swiftly cuts into Foxy's head, obliterating it.

Foxy falls to the ground, a mess of metal and wires, unrecognizable besides the star eyepatch laying on the ground next to what was once him.

Bonnie feels sick, an unfamiliar emotion on top of all the other ones congesting his head.

He continues slowly stepping backwards towards the staircase, his goal almost in reach if only his legs would lighten a bit.

Each step is agony, he watches as Sun stalks forward, a smile unchanging across his face. His rays gyrate rapidly, flicking in and out, but never fully retreating.

"B̶̡͇͓̟̦̃͋́̀͘͝ͅȏ̸̩̝̼̲͓̀̈́̚͝ṉ̴̪̟̂"

Metallic footsteps and the whirring of fans are the only sounds, both his, and Sun's. He's so close.

A voice suddenly shouts from behind Bonnie.

"What the fuck!?"

Bonnie freezes, eyes not leaving Sun.

"..Get the lights."

Sun adjusts his stare a little above Bonnie, focusing on the security guard standing at the steps leading upwards.

"Ķ̸̛̿̊͑̀͘a̵̡̨̹̹͠i̶͉̟͕̓"

Sun lunges, intending to go straight through Bonnie if he has to.

Bonnie dodges out of the way, and swats at the lights.

Darkness envelopes the room. The only light source being the small lamp on a table in the middle of it all.

Whirring of mechanical parts as a thump vibrates the stairs behind him, he picks himself up, one hand, then one knee at a time, until he's finally on his feet.

The giant animatronic is splayed out along the stairs leading upwards. Kai is against the back wall where the stairwell turns.

Bonnie rushes over.

"..M-Moon.."

Moon adjusts himself off of the stairs, pushing up. He raises his hand to his eyes, staring at the red-tipped claws before retracting them.

He looks forward as Bonnie follows his gaze.

Kai's top paints itself with blood as it drips from the four marks left by Sun, slicing clean through the shirt and into his skin.

Kai is wincing while desperately smearing blood over his Fazwatch.

Moon crawls further up the stairs.

"Kai, w-wait."

He only looks at Moon for a second before the heaving of his chest slows and his eyes shut.
