"Little is known about the mysterious group known as the executives, but one of the more notable ones is the shield of humanity. Who is known as the strongest awaken, is also known for his good heart. Though many theorise that there is an executive with power that is many times stronger."-Mr. Louis(former instructor of the awakened mandatory legal classes: awakened and non awakened interactions)
Chapter 3: old friends, new circumstances
Momonga was currently in his private office planning out his next move. While he knew he was in the real world, there was very little information at his disposal. While he did hope to gather his comrades, there were some factors he had to consider before he could start gathering them. For one momonga had very little info about his friends whereabouts. Momonga believed he could perhaps remember the location of three or four guild members, actual residence, but there was only one that he knew information was still valid, as the rest hadn't responded to Momonga's was furthered complicated when momonga had learned that the internet was currently unavailable. And while momonga could teleport to places he had been before, it seemed that the mere knowledge of a place was not enough, and momonga had to either been there before, or had some divination magic to see the place.
So now momonga was using nazzarick's interworld to observatory (as it seemed to bypass the limit of travelling through the portal) viewing to go see herohero's place. And though it was quite interesting to see the streets of his hometown from a birds eye view, the drab architecture quickly bored momonga. That was until a quick procession of the police officers rarely seen in the slums, moved about and seemed to be forcing everyone to stay in the various buildings.
Taking an interest momonga lowered the invisible sensory organ, and casted a sublimary Divination magic, which allowed the sound to be transmitted as well.
A loudspeaker from one of the police cruisers called out on to the streets
"Level 4 martial law will be enacted in 30 mins, please stay inside, anyone found out of their home after the time has expired, will be shot on sight…. Level 4 martial law will…" it seemed to keep repeating. This information had been interesting to momonga as he had learned of the 5 levels of martial law back in elementary school, level one was the implementation of a curfew, and was usually enacted when crime rates went up, level two, had a curfew and spot checks by the police, level three was that only travel between work was permitted and the police would escort everyone to work in huge transits of people, meanwhile level four, which momonga had never experienced before simply had everyone stay home, followed by level five which had everyone moved to holding shelters.
Level 4 was the most interesting, as level five was much more common (usually before a war, it would be used as an excuse to get everyone in big groups, and send them to fight), but level four not only limited ability to work, which would piss off the corporation they worked for, but it also required more police to enforce, so it was not a popular option for the arecology to give up their own security force, all to contain those in the slums.
Well anyways, that would mean that herohero would still be at his home so momonga would not have to wait to find him. It was after about an hour of searching that momonga was able to find the apartment building that herohero lived in. Upon examining the buzzer list, momonga was able to determine the particular apartment
herohero was in.
Yuudai Hiro was currently quite tired, he had spent a little too much time gaming last night, which meant he didn't quite get enough sleep before work, then after trudging himself to work Hiro was finally ready to do work, then five minutes before his ten minutes breakfast break, when a sudden level four martial law announcement meant he had to immediately leave work (of course the supervisor made sure to have everyone clock out) and return home. This was on top of the fact that some managers decided to start handing out paper work for people to do at home, so as to "graciously" keep them entertained. It was as Hiro busted through his door, and began to strip the protective wear off, that he immediately rushed to his decontamination chamber, then flopped onto his bed, allowing the sweet release of sleep to try to return to him.
It was after an hour of tossing and turning that Hiro was finally confident that his body would allow him to rest, then a knock came at his door. Knowing that it may be an officer for a complustionary inspection, Hiro dragged himself out of bed to begin the opening procedure to allow his apartment to be searched. He began to type the entry commands, but it was as he had finished typing that he had finally realised that the person at his door was not a police officer, but a hulking mass in a dark cloak. It was as Hiro whispered "Oh,shit" to himself, that the giant of a man bent down to make it into the entryway. Hiro quickly rushed over to his kitchen table and grabbed one of his knives and brandished it at the intruder as it reached up to grab its hood.
Momonga had entered Hiro's apartment, and as he began to get ready to enter conversation with Hiro, Momonga had seen that Hiro had already had a knife. This caused Momonga to chuckle to himself, as he removed his cloak. Momonga gazed at Hiro with his flaming eyes, "there is no need to be concerned. It is Momonga."
Hiro gazed at the giant skeleton, who did feel reminiscent of his guildmaster's avatar. And while it had claimed to be his former guildmaster, Hiro never remembered momonga being the overly creative type, but upon thinking about it momonga would be one of the few people who could even attempt to bring their game character, what with him being someone who has some semblance of disposable income, as well as holding Yggdrasil close to his heart. That however did not answer the question of why the guildmaster was here. As far as Hiro knew the guildmaster had been claiming that he needed to work this morning, and the sudden lockdown certainly wouldn't have given momonga the time to put the costume on and get to Hiro's apartment.
Momonga gazed into the confused eyes and began to open his mouth, to speak, but then thought about what words he could even say without sounding like a crazy lunatic. It was as he moved his jaw, that Hiro had already moved forward , and began to grab at Momonga's robe.
"Hey, this is pretty good stuff, how does nobody like you get this kind of stuff?"
Momonga deduced that his friend had reasonably concluded Momonga was currently cosplaying, but now he would have to replace his friend's logical delusion with the illogical reality.
"We'll, you see from…. Some strange circumstances have occurred, and it seems.." deciding to rip the proverbial band-aid momonga blurted it out "somehow Yggdrasil has come to the new world and I am stuck in my avatar"
Hiro, just looked at momonga, let the words sink in, and then his face lit up with realisation,
" Is this one of those prank shows, come on, where's the camera?"
Momonga stared intently at his former guild mate as he reiterated the truth of the current circumstances.
" this is not some trick, it seems that I have truly been placed in my avatar's body"
Hiro just looked at his friend and as he began to explain how repeating a joke does not make it funnier, he was interrupted as momonga did something impossible.

Hiro starred as in Momonga's hand a dark blade began to materialise, it gleamed a dark light, as it spread out at the end, and the handle sported a thick silver hand guard. Then his friend in front of him, seemed to hold it in his hand, only to drop it to the ground, with a thud.
When Hiro tried to pick up the weapon which his friend had created out of thin air, and handled like someone would a knife, only for him to struggle as the sword seemed to weigh well beyond the ability of a regular person to lift. Hiro quickly searched his mind, but there was no plausible way, to both create the blade out of thin air, and for someone to lift it with one hand. Hiro tried to push for more information from Momonga.
"Okay, how the hell you do that."
"I have already told you." Momonga stated matter of factly
"But, that's impossible" Hiro seemed to cry out in shock.
After this Hiro seemed to be at a loss for words. Seeing this momonga decided to cut to the objective of his visit.
"Anyways, as I had somehow come to this world, I was hoping that we could perhaps try to gather together…"
This seemed to break Hiro, to the point that all thought processes could not fully comprehend
"How could we join you, man I have work, and a life to take care of."
With this the imposing figure of momonga gazed around the apartment with little in the way of decorations. Though this did not mean that Hiro had a minimal aesthetic, the boxes of nutria-paste, the pile of disposed food tubes. With the entirety of Hiro's life before momonga, he was able to easily discern his friend was more down on his luck than the skeleton once was.
Seeing this momonga pushed his friend, "well nazarick had seemed to have come along with me, sooooo all your needs should be taken care of."
Hiro, looked around and started to laugh, his life truly was pitiful, he gave his all to his bosses, and not even a raise was given back, only demands. If he called and told his boss to go fuck himself like Hiro so desperately dreamed of, then every thing Hiro had would disappear. But now before Hiro was his old friend, promising him a way out. And frankly regardless of the likelihood of it actually being true, it truly did beat his current circumstances. He was actually gonna agree to go live with his old friend, who was now a skeleton, in what was basically the collection of forty men and women's eighth grade syndrome.
It was as Hiro thoughts truly came to a decision that a sharp voiced shrieked out at him
"You dare laugh at the supreme one"

The first instance of being 145-3 was interacted with. After a quantum field generator at [redacted] had malfunctioned, the entire research team was killed except for a junior researcher named [redacted] on a coffee run who claimed that some self proclaimed god spoke to him, and criticised his lack of belief, their conversation seemed to last five minutes, before darkness envelope his vision immediately followed by his return, via the full resuscitation machine that was being worked on nearby. And while such actions would not be actionable it seemed that there was a surge of energy completely independent of the generator's failure.
Twenty years ago (2118)
Several instances of being 145-3 code name Odin, was reported from subjects of the full resuscitation machine. In addition the same energy surge was detected despite the original circumstances not having taken place as the first one.
One hypothesis was proposed by the head researcher [redacted] that Odin was an information based creature, residing in a dimension separate from their own. It was on such that operation bi-frost was proposed.
Using a [redacted] Odin was able to be contained for all of thirteen seconds before the energy reading rapidly spiked and a blinding light was observed before the [redacted] rapidly went into overdrive causing another explosion. Resulting in the death of [redacted] bi-frost personnel.
Upon inspection it seemed one of the safety mechanisms had ceased to exist. It had appeared that the being itself could be contained, however it or other beings like it were able to interact with the device.
Fifthteen years ago (2123)
[redacted] was once again used to trap Odin once again, however due to budget cuts the capture device was connected to the same modules collecting data. Not only was efficient collection of data improved but Odin spiked in power but did not interact, apparently Odin was able to be used as a processor delaying its escape.
Junior researcher [redacted] suggested the use of a large amount of data to delay Odin indefinitely. From henceforth operation [redacted] was set to work in tandem with operation bi-frost.
