Caught Between a Rabbit, a Dragon, and The Greatest To Ever Do It
Izuku very much enjoyed living. Dare he say, he LOVED living. In fact, Izuku was only twenty-two years old, and he had already accomplished so much through his education. He was one of the few youngest graduates from I-Island ever, but he held the honor of being the highest scoring and highest held grades ever at said institution.
Izuku loved life very much. He was young, extremely good-looking, intelligent, tall, muscular and lean, charismatic, and most of all he was just a kind individual. Even if these were remarks Izuku had gotten used to hearing from random strangers, from his friends, from his classmates and even from teachers back in his college days, and now even at his new workplace. Izuku definitely could say he enjoyed his life up till now, even with the very rough way it had started.
"Zuky!"
Now, Izuku was very much afraid of death. Especially if said death was being rammed into him at a two ton weight differential.
Izuku felt the air leave his lungs almost immediately as his large form was made minuscule by the sheer size of a reptile that dwelled only in imagination and fairytale.
Dragon's were always depicted as evil, greedy, viciously large, violent, and rough.
As for this dragon that was purring loudly like a cat would, smiling largely, and humming gently as Izuku laid in between the beast's bosom. Izuku felt an overwhelmingly tingle filled warmth as he felt the dragon's chest vibrate alongside their purring.
"Ryuko. If you're gonna make so much noise you can fuck off and go back home."
Izuku felt the powerful dragon's grasp falter as the larger than life creature grumbled angrily.
"B-But I haven't seen him in months!" Ryuko complained.
"Maybe next time they request help in America you tell them to piss off then." Rumi countered.
Izuku felt as the dragon woman gently set him down on the ground with a huff.
"You're no fair Rumi. You get to see him every single day." The dragon hissed slightly. "You try saying no to that billionaire stupid red and gold robot alongside his band of goons."
Said rabbit woman rolled her eyes as she gave Izuku a harsh pat on his back, which in turn made Izuku choke on his own saliva.
"Anyways you giant lizard. Please turn back into you, you're causing a scene."
Izuku adjusted the tie he was wearing nervously as he looked around and noticed a lot of eyes were looking in their direction, as well as a few flashes from cameras that were littered about in the crowd.
At the moment, Izuku, Ryuko, and Rumi were out in the city and were on their way to a restaurant that the trio usually frequented every Friday. But with Ryuko having been busy in a whole other country, these dinners came to a halt momentarily.
So of course when Rumi and Izuku reached a bend in the road and saw Ryuko standing near their destination. It came to none of their surprise the woman locked eyes with them and quickly rushed Izuku with a terrifying vigor. Her quirk instantly activated due to her excitement alone of seeing him.
Interestingly, being in such a public place, and with minimal effort on Ryuko's and Rumi's disguises when out as civilians. It was a usual sight to see the both of them with a crowd that would call to them and sometimes rarely would follow.
Izuku chuckled nervously as Ryuko grumbled to herself slightly before dropping her dragon form entirely.
"Izuku, how can you let Rumi talk so rudely to me?" She sighed. "As my mate, you have to defend me just as I would defend you any second of my life."
Izuku nervously chuckled as he shook his head. "Ryu-Ryu we are not mates."
Ryuko loudly groaned as she shook her head. "We have been over this. When I want something as part of my hoard, it's MINE."
Rumi crossed her arms annoyingly as she looked at the two; Izuku lightly scratched his head as his cheeks burned red.
"Ryu, I am not part of y-your hoard. You can't just claim ownership of me." He said a bit firmer.
Ryuko grumbled stubbornly. "The sooner you accept it. The easier it will be when you come and live with me."
Izuku sighed gently, though he could not help but smile. "Ryuko, that's called kidnapping since I would not go voluntarily."
"Umm, no, don't use my full name, thank you." Ryuko scolded as she shrugged her shoulders fixing the dress she was wearing. "Anywho, forced living, forced to love me and cuddle with me, maybe a bit of something more inbetween, kind of sounds like a sweet deal." She grinned sharply.
Izuku shook his head and before he could say more Rumi huffed loudly.
"Fuck you two, I'm starving and have been waiting to eat here. We are going."
Izuku yelped slightly as felt the short but powerful woman grab his hair and tug it in her direction.
Ryuko could not help but chuckle as she followed behind the two, Izuku whining and hissing as they made their way to the front entrance.
Interestingly enough, Izuku had known Ryuko way longer than he had known Rumi. In fact, she had been his first real friend when he was first growing up. Having been quirkless his whole life, it always perplexed him how such a gifted woman with such an amazing quirk would want to be his friend. Let alone his friend when he was thirteen at the time.
The two had been inseparable at first, Izuku's mother Inko, and Ryuko's mother becoming mutual friends due to the two's beautiful friendship. Though it was a friendship that was still ongoing and now stronger than ever, it did not mean it was all happiness and sunshine for the two.
The two had a history, a sticky yet beautiful one. And Ryuko had stuck by his side the entire time. One would have thought the two were even destined for one another, but Izuku being, well, him. All the signs were obvious to others, but were not obvious to him at all.
A story for another time.
At any rate, as Izuku, Rumi and Ryuko were led to a very secluded but luxurious table set aside specifically for them. Izuku could not help but still feel that subtle guilt he always felt as they were immediately seated compared to the usual long line that was out front.
Rumi was quick to notice the green haired
man's sheepish hunch as they sat down.
"Dude seriously? We are just getting seated." She sighed.
Izuku chuckled nervously as he laid a hand against his head.
"I-I just always feel bad that there's always a long line to wait out front." Izuku sighed. "And we instantly g-get seated."
"Wellllll, that comes with us being heroes and having eaten here for so long!" Ryuko cheered slightly. "Plus, I'll gladly take this small privilege for having put my life on the line so many times." She grimaced slightly.
"I'm not a hero a-actually." Izuku meekly continued.
Rumi groaned as she kicked her legs over the top of the table. "Izuku, though you may not be a hero in the "conventional manner", you are still a hero in every other way." She grunted.
Izuku's face flushed slightly. "C-Come on guys…"
Ryuko laid a comforting hand against the mans large hand and smiled. "It is my duty as your owner to forever hype you up and speak nothing but the truth to you." She then threw her hands up in an animated manner. "It's like the shiny emeralds I keep in my hoard! You're exactly like that!"
Izuku chuckled nervously as he felt the warmth of her hand subside.
"You're weird dude." Rumi chuckled slightly as an overly portly man made their way to the table.
"Welcome to Greasy's!" The man exclaimed excitedly. "Good to see you three are finally back!"
Izuku smiled. "Hey Tim. Good to see business is still just as good."
The larger than life man chortled loudly.
"Bah! I have you three to thank for it!" The man smiled genuinely. "With the number 5 and 9 hero eating here constantly it definitely turned some heads!" Tim then gave Izuku dreamy eyes. "Not to mention this eye candy over here."
Izuku sighed with a red faces and a laugh. "Tim you know Sasu is not going to like you flirting with me."
Tim's laugh filled the restaurant once more as he slapped his stomach. "Bah! He'll come around eventually!"
"I'm never one to care, but since it's you Tim. How are you and the little man?" Rumi questioned.
Tim smiled happily as he looked over to another crowded table that held a rather short but extremely good looking man.
"We are as happy as could be. We are celebrating our ten year anniversary. We are having a family / friend dinner l in a few months however..." Tim's eyes then glowedd brightly. "Which you three are invited to!"
"We'd be honored to go." Ryuko was quick to answer with a smile of her own.
Which in turn earned the portly man a couple of nods from the other two patrons.
Tim smiled. "Glad to hear it. Now!" He said whilst pulling out a notepad. "What can I get you three?"
Rumi snorted loudly. "Is that even a question? You know damn well what we are here for."
Tim sighed, shaking his head endearingly. "I should really bar you three from coming here, you know. Every time you three come around I run out of product."
"Blame that on that bottomless pit and the dragon." Rumi continued.
This earned a chuckle from all three of them before Tim wrote in the notepad.
"So that's one 50 states of America for the table. Consisting of cheeseburgers, steaks, fries, chicken, pork, deep fried everything, and blah blah you know the drill I don't have time to name everything." Tim said as he closed the notepad.
"Now that you three are back I'm sure to see a pickup in business so to that, I extend my gratitude." Tim said with a bow. "The food will be right out!"
As the man seemingly waddled away, Izuku could not help but look around the extremely well decorated restaurant and the finely dressed patrons all around them. Even being on a secluded side of the establishment, it was still easy to see how popular and how many people were sitting down eating away.
"It still blows me away that Tim managed to make this all happen here. Not to mention this is not even fancy food over in the United States." Ryuko giggled. "Shoot, I was able to get a hamburger just at every corner. Hell, even some places had deep fried foods as a main part of the menu!"
Izuku chuckled himself. "One can admire the drive an American would have to make money; but Tim's luckily one of the good ones and does what he does mainly for the love of it."
"Who cares if it's for the money or cause he loves to do it, that man can make some good ass food." Rumi added.
"Which!" Izuku said with sudden awe. "His quirk does wonders to help along in the kitchen." He sighed.
Ryuko couldn't help but chuckle lovingly as Izuku seemingly muttered to himself. Rumi grinned slightly before looking away and leaning against her seat.
As the three officially grew comfortable and eased themselves for the usual thirty minute long wait for the first five states to be delivered to them, Ryuko's teeth grew sharp as she looked over at Izuku with an annoyed look.
"Hey. What's this I hear about you making female friends over at your new job?" She growled slightly.
Izuku looked at Rumi in betrayal as the tan woman snickered menacingly.
"Just catching up with her and let it slip, sorry champ." Rumi giggled.
Izuku gulped. "W-Well I got invited for some drinks with the new coworkers at a bar. Y-You actually know them too!"
"You know I hate sharing. Rumi is the only exception to this rule." Ryuko's growl did not falter as her eyes grew sharp. "I'll be watching you and them closely."
Rumi snorted. "Girl you're something else. You aren't dating the guy, neither am I."
Ryuko's angered appearances dropped as she giggled cutely. "Don't act like you wouldn't want to!"
"Pfff. He wishes." Rumi continued with a grin of her own.
"I just love teasing him, I mean look at how red and sweaty he looks!" Ryuko licked her lips. "God it gets me so hot!"
Izuku's face went completely white as he became a stuttering mess. "R-R-Ryu stop!"
Rumi chortled loudly. "I'll admit it is a sight to see though."
Before the conversation could go further Tim returned to the table with five large plates stuffed to the brim with food.
"Here you three go! I'll have the next five states in thirty!" He stated as the plates were seemingly slammed on their table in a dramatic manner.
Izuku was quick to deflect the conversation to anything else and felt the gods had blessed him with this distraction.
"T-Thanks Tim!" He stuttered.
Tim winked in his direction. "Anything to help a troubled friend."
"Well I'm not waiting for you two. I'm grabbing whatever I can before that whale over there eats it all."
"I knew I noticed your thighs and stomach looked larger." Ryuko countered. "Could have sworn that states thirty-four and forty-three had been served with what you have hanging there."
Izuku sighed though laughed endearingly. It was going to be another long fifty states, and frankly he knew he would enjoy every second of it with these two with him.
"You know, it still amazes me you three are literally the only ones who can complete the full fifty."
Rumi burped loudly as she flicked a final piece of the bone from a rib onto the table.
"Well when you have a bunch of no names eating here Sasu, it's no surprise the three biggest names in Japan can easily finish this up."
Sasu sighed. "I don't know why my husband keeps letting you three in here." Though he smiled. "However, it's always lively and good seeing you three around."
Ryuko groaned slightly as she rubbed her stomach. "Izu~ My stomach hurts can you come and rub it for me please?"
Izuku sighed with a flushed face. "Ryuko we both know I'm not going to do that. Not after what you did that one time."
Ryuko groaned before sitting herself back up straight on her chair.
"I accidentally scratched you for the hundredth time and moaned loudly. You would think you would forgive me."
Izuku blushed before shaking his head and looking away as a sudden voice caught his attention.
"Izuku, hey! I knew that green tuft of hair was you!"
All four of them looked over to witness none other than Sorashi making her way over to them. Accompanying her was an individual that was very well known in the hero world. Izuku could barely contain himself as Sorashi walked over with the mysterious individual in tow.
"Usagiyama, good seeing you again. As well as you Tatsuma, what's it been, a year?." Sorashi said with a genuine smile. Her eyes then changed shape to that of Jupiter.
Ryuko gave the young woman a tooth filled grin. "It really has been that long huh?" She answered.
Izuku vaguely caught the change of her pupils, but his attention remained strictly on the second guest. Who noticed his stare and could not help but grin widely as she fluffed up her hair gently.
"See something you like, big man?" She teased.
Izuku erupted quite literally. His face a vibrant red, his ears just as warm, his face a contorted mess as he felt an immense sweat take over.
The other three women noticed the exchange instantly and a slight annoyance struck all three before Sorashi quickly shook her head with an apologetic look on her face.
"I'm so sorry Kaina! I should have introduced you a bit earlier."
The older woman simply moved a hand in an 'about' manner as she still kept her eyes locked on the bumbling mess of a man.
"Y-Your Lady Na-Nagant!" Izuku suddenly sputtered out as he somewhat controlled himself with complete awe in his very voice.
This raised the brow of both Ryuko and Rumi as they sat straight up and gave the woman a knowing look.
"I knew you looked familiar, but you are part of that underground shit or something. Like that dead looking dude who should quit teaching." Rumi suddenly commented.
Kaina chuckled gently as she looked away from Izuku and to the rabbit hero.
"He really should stop teaching huh?" She continued. "At least he's good at what he does." She shrugged.
Rumi simply rolled her eyes before looking over at Izuku.
Ryuko was the next to speak. "What an honour to meet one the greatest markswomen to ever live." She finished genuinely, admiration in her eyes.
Kaina blushed slightly though took their compliments in stride. "The pleasure is all mine! I know all about you three very well actually." Her eyes gave Izuku a mischievous look. "Especially that one over there."
Izuku sputtered once more.
Kaina gave the woman standing to her side a teasing glance. "You can blame that one over there for that. All that has come out of her mouth is you the last few hours."
"KAINA!" The small woman suddenly exclaimed as her eyes suddenly shifted to a planet that Izuku had no clue about. It looked frozen.
Beautiful laughter filled the restaurant in their little secluded corner as the older woman could barely contain herself.
Perhaps it was the hero's laughter that made Izuku feel at ease…but Izuku suddenly stood up in excitement as he could no longer contain himself.
"I've heard so much about you! Well relatively speaking I have since you're mainly in the shadows just like Aziawa. But just like him you still keep appearance so others know who you are. Not to mention you're quite literally the greatest markswoman to ever live!" Izuku took a deep breath as stars lit in his eyes. "PLEASE MAY I HAVE THE HONOUR OF SEEING YOUR RIFLE!"
Now it was Kaina's chance to blush more deeply as the rather innocent comment filled her body with something she had not felt in years.
"Izuku, how could you ask such a thing!?" Ryuko exclaimed with equal embarrassment.
Sorashi was next to look at the green haired man in shock.
Rumi held it together surprisingly and conveyed no emotion to what he had said. To the unprofessional eye that is. If one were to look to the tips of her white ears one could see the subtle red hue they took at his words.
"W-What?" The man sputtered at the mix reactions of the others.
The table grew silent as all eyes were affixed to the tall man. The womens eyes instantly filled him with an anxiety he knew all too well. It felt just as, if not worse, as the time his thesis was read to a panel of over one hundred distinguished heroes and professors alike.
Surprisingly, Kaina quickly recovered and gave the man the most flirtatious and devious smile she could give and she slowly ran her other hand alongside her arm.
"My rifle huh?" She huskly stated, her eyes growing mischievous as she slowly approached the standing man.
Izuku could only stand still as she slowly circled him, her arm now wrapping around the back of his neck as she brought the man into a subtle embrace. Her face mere inches from his as she looked deep into his.
"I can tell you meant nothing but pure innocent intentions from that comment." She smiled cutely, her eyes glowing. "But you'd have to take me on a date in order to see that." She winked with a final whispery breath.
As Izuku imploded within himself, Kaina quickly laughed loudly as she gently let go of the man, her eyes looking back to Sorashi with a teasing glint.
"You know I see what you like about this guy. Such a lovely shade of red~." She said with a final sigh, her eyes suddenly returning to the other two women who remained seated.
Her eyes widened slightly at the disdainful look from Rumi and jealous look of Ryuko. Her cheeks went red as she felt herself sputter just a bit.
"O-Oh! Wait, how horrible of me! Are one of you his partner?" She nervously chuckled, her eyes looking between the two.
Rumi's look instantly dropped as she became as stoic as ever.
With a huff and cross of her arms Rumi shook her head. "No. He could never take all this even if he wanted to." Rumi snickered.
Deep within Kaina felt herself feel a sense of relief before the dragon hero crossed her arms.
"Why yes he is my partner!" Ryuko growled, her cheeks puffing out in the most comical fashion. "Never put your hands on my man again." She said with a small billow of smoke leaving her nostrils.
Kaina felt a pang in her heart for a fleeting moment but quickly went to apologize.
"Tatsuma, I'm deeply sorry I did not know-"
"None of them are my girlfriend…" Izuku suddenly whispered to himself that all four surprisingly picked up on.
Rumi scoffed as Ryuko suddenly gasped loudly and dramatically. Sorashi remained silent as she looked between them with renewed vigor.
"Izu!" Ryuko whined. "She didn't need to know that!" She sighed. "Even so you're still a part of my hoard…"
Izuku chuckled gently, the red blush still present on his face.
"Y-Yes I know after our pack as kids and all…" He chuckled.
At his laughter, Ryuko laughed herself before giving the markswoman an aggressive glare.
"Just know I'm way ahead of you on this 'bracket' from what I've heard. Rumi, if she ever admitted she liked this idiot, then I'd say she's a decent second."
Rumi instantly shot up. "That's it! Y'all are fucking getting on my nerves. Fuck off, I'm heading to the car."
As she began to walk away Ryuko quickly called out to the rabbit hero.
"THE TIPS OF YOUR EARS ARE RED!"
"KISS MY ASS!" She shouted back as she stormed off.
Kaina could only look on in surprise as Izuku erupted into laughter, his head shaking in an endearing fashion.
"Sorry we interrupted Izuku." Sorashi giggled gently as she took Kaina's arm into her own. "Come on you homewrecker, let's go to our table."
Izuku could only nod and smile as he felt his breath hitch in his throat for a moment. Her eyes changed once more to that of a black hole from the looks of it.
"It-It was nice meeting you Kaina!" He nervously said as the woman gave him a smile. "See you at work Sorashi?"
Sorashi could only smile cutely as she nodded with a blush of her own. "Of course."
"Always a pleasure to meet the man who's thesis I've read countless times already. I wonder if you can answer a few questions about it soon enough." Kaina revealed with a wink.
Izuku felt his face explode once more as he looked at her in utter surprise.
"I'm serious by the way. Take me out on a date and I'll show you my rifle." She said lastly with a loud guffaw as Izuku quite literally fell into a seat beside him at her words.
Sorashi could only sigh and laugh all the same as she led the other woman away from the other two.
"You're a fucking asshole."
"Wh- Huh!?" Izuku quickly questioned as he looked over to Ryuko who was already headed for the door with her purse in tow.
Izuku could only watch in awe as he felt an immense sense of dejavu hit him as Ryuko walked out the door without a look back.
"Eeeesshhhh. You poor soul.." Tim suddenly said with a pitiful smile.
Izuku sighed himself as he felt his blush finally quell as he looked to the large man with a desperate look.
"Why are women so…so… yeah." Izuku wondered. "I mean I'm just doing my thing you know?" Izuku said in a rare instance of normalcy.
Tim could only shrug his shoulders before laying a piece of paper on the table.
"I've heard hero women are nightmares to crack. Hence so many pro male heroes date normal people." He chuckled. "That's why I'm gay." He said with a loud chortle and waddled away to attend another table.
Izuku looked at the paper in confusion before his eyes widened.
"They left me with the bill…"
He chuckled to himself as the zeros only grew longer as he looked at the total. With a sigh, Izuku pulled out the appropriate amount of money from his wallet and set it on the table before gathering his things and making his way out the door. He could just make out the silhouette of the two women standing outside as a crowd grew around them. Before Rumi's annoyed shouts could grow any louder, Izuku felt himself smile as he joined them outside.
If only he realized how different school would be within the coming weeks and how drastic his life would change when in the limelight.
Longtime no see huh? Its been two years and alot has changed in my life but that will be for another time.
At any rate it is so amazing continuing this story after so long and I can not wait to continue! A cute update for all hopefully.
As always, I hope you all have a wonderful day, evening, and night! Take care.
