Hey guys, I'm back with another story, I hope you enjoy it, please check out the end of the chapter for update information!

The Greengrass family, one of the ancient families of the wizarding world, this family, alongside the Malfoy, Black, Potter, Bones, and other families that are already extinct are considered "the founders".

Thousands of years ago, wizards used to live in tribes and they never acted friendly with people outside their own blood, they were constantly at war with each other until a worse enemy appeared.

It was an army of vampires, werewolves, giants, and other dangerous creatures, so, in the end, the tribes had to ally with each other to defeat this enemy, and they managed to do it.

They realized that they were stronger together, they still got their families but they didn't fight against each other like they used to be they had conflicts but it was between the leaders, that never lead to a war thanks to the intervention from the other leaders, they formed an alliance and then created what it's known today as the "Magical Britain".

The founders managed to keep themselves wealthy even after hundreds of years, the descendants of these families were always in top positions in many areas, the government, quidditch players, Auror forces, Unspeakables, and many more.

Thanks to their connections they managed to get wealthier and wealthier, but, things have changed since the last century, movements of extremist wizards with extremist ideas had made the heads of the important families take some stupid decisions.

The Malfoys, for example, lost half of their fortune when they supported Grindelwald, after his defeat, nobody wanted to do business with the Malfoys, they were on the verge of ruin, they had to work a lot to get other people to work with them once again.

It seems like it's hard for them to learn from the mistakes of the past, another necromancer came, Lord Voldemort, thanks to his ridiculous and unrealistic promises, many fell into the trap to finance his project.

And now that he has been defeated all his supporters are in trouble, The Malfoys went into bankruptcy, they didn't learn from the mistakes of the past, and then there it was a family that was also on the verge of bankruptcy; The Greengrass family.

The Greengrass family sadly had to support Voldemort's movement thanks to the head of the family, who was a faithful believer of Voldemort's ideas, he thought that by supporting him, his wealth will increase once he won, and at the same time, he was going to help to make the wizarding world glorious once again.

Sadly for him, a young man, a boy managed to defeat the most powerful wizard in the last fifty years, that boy managed to destroy all his plans, and now it seems like the Greengrass family was doomed to have the same end as the Malfoys.

Dressed in a white comfy sleeping dress, a long-haired, blonde girl is in her room in front of a mirror brushing her long hair thinking about everything that happened to her family lately, luckily they managed to not get into trouble with the government as their father managed to say that Voldemort was taking their money in exchange for their lives.

But still, the blonde girl wasn't satisfied and not because she shared the same ideas as Voldemort, no, quite the contrary she hated the wizard, after the Christmas break, they had been forced to stay in their home where Voldemort and his trustable people used to land here many times and do as they pleased.

Luckily she and her sister managed to convince the dark lord that they believed in the movement, they were lucky, their whole family managed to survive but the cost was pretty high, Voldemort sucked all their wealth, her parents were seriously thinking of selling their home and the girl couldn't do another thing than blaming her father.

The blonde girl gritted her teeth as she thought about her father, he was the one responsible that they were in this situation, she had been prepared her whole life to take the lead of their family and now that she was in age it turns out that there is nothing for her to manage, suddenly, she was hugged from behind by another younger woman but this one has brown hair, but their eyes have the same color: blue.

- What are you thinking Daphne? – The brown-haired girl startled the blonde but her surprise didn't last long, the blonde looked back at the brown-haired girl and smiled.

- Astoria… - Daphne looked back at her younger sister.

Many things and even people made Daphne feel indifferent, her younger sister wasn't one, to be honest, her younger sister was the only reason why she hadn't given up yet and run away with the person she loves.

- Don't lie to me… I know that expression of yours, you always have it when things are troubling you – Astoria placed her hands on her sister's hips.

Daphne, a usual serious and calm girl always feels weak around her cheerful sister, she doesn't know how she manages to do it, but she's always cheerful and happy, doesn't matter the situation in which they are, she doesn't seem to mind the troubles, she's such a free spirit.

Daphne smiled at her younger sister before she touched one of her cheeks, Astoria was a little surprised by this movement but she smiled and even rubbed her cheeks on her sister's hand.

- You know me too well Tori – Daphne sighed – I've been thinking about our situation… Our family is at risk of bankruptcy thanks to our idiot father's choices – Daphne sighed.

Astoria was stunned, she hadn't expected her older sister to say something like that, she quickly placed a finger on her sister's lips.

- You don't want our father to hear you, don't you? – Tori said in a low tone.

- Doesn't matter anymore Tori… He can't afford to do anything to us, we're the only ones he can use to stop our family from going broke – Daphne said in a sad tone.

- What do you mean? – Astoria was confused.

- Well… You know sister, we're both beautiful, young, single… - Daphne said sadly as she continued touching her younger sister's face.

Astoria's widened after she realized what her sister meant.

- Are you sure it's over? Come on Daph, you're a genius when it comes to numbers, are you sure that there is no other way to save us? – Astoria was getting worried.

- Well… There's one way, but we need to work together – Daphne gave her little sister her back for a few moments – I'm going to tell father about my plan but… If I fail, we won't have another choice other than running away from here – Daphne's words shocked Tori – I know that you respect our parents… I do too, but I'm not going to let him do whatever he wants with me I won't let him sell me to an old man when there's a better choice – Daphne was getting angry.

Astoria ran towards her older sister quickly to embrace her, she knew what to do when her sister gets angry, hugging her always helps her, and once again, she proved to be right, Daphne relaxed and it seems like her previous anger had disappeared.

- Daph, if it's that good why do you think father will reject it? – Astoria had some trouble understanding her sister's reasoning.

- Because it goes against all his beliefs, you know him… Even if we're almost broke he prefers to die than associate with "those mudbloods" as he calls them – Daphne sighed.

Astoria now understood, but suddenly her eyes widened.

- Sister… Don't tell me that this is about… Our crush? – Astoria blushed after she said this.

Surprisingly, Daphne blushed too, both girls have been raised to believe that they had to focus on their studies and their family, the other things don't matter, things like making friends, having a boyfriend are obstacles.

Actually, Their father had forbidden both girls from having a boyfriend or dating any boy they liked, they were going to get married to a man that their father will choose, Astoria was actually about to marry Draco Malfoy but now that the Malfoy family is broke, there's no point for them to marry.

But everything changed, the moment they saw him in school, and to their surprise, both sisters fell in love with him, they have talked with him a few times and it seems like he never cared that they were from Slytherin, they few times they had interacted with him he has always treat them as a gentleman just like the stories about him told.

- Yes sister… It's about him – Daphne was smiling genuinely, it was a bigger smile than before, she was blushing the whole time – To be honest, I was getting ready to talk with father about that, that's why I was brushing my hair – Astoria nodded.

- Can I go with you? – Asked the younger girl.

Daphne was a little hesitant, there is no doubt that the one who was raised to become the next leader of their family and manage all the stuff was Daphne, but she loved her little sister so much that she wanted to share that responsibility with her, that's why she always taught Astoria everything she had learned in her private lessons about management.

- You really have grown up… I'm so proud of you – Daphne said with a smile before she took her little sister's hands.

The younger woman was smiling and looking at anywhere but Daphne.

Daphne always tried to make sure that her sister wouldn't be exposed to the dangers of the world, she always tried to protect her against the things she fought, but it seems like her younger sister was more courageous than she thought, they saw horrors during the war, they weren't innocent children anymore.

- Yes… You can come with me – Astoria's eyes widened, she nodded furiously – Come on, let's get going… And erase that grin of yours… We need to be serious in this if we want our father to consider our proposal – Astoria quickly changed her expression, it was hard at first but she managed to do it.

Meanwhile, as the sisters walked in the hallway of the Greengrass mansion, an older blonde man, was thoughtful, he was sitting behind a big desk, there were many paintings on the walls, and two bookshelves, the man was drinking whisky but he wasn't drinking from a glass, he was drinking directly from the bottle.

The older man was thinking about everything that happened the last few months, the end of the war, his monetary loss, all the contracts, he was thinking of those times that he didn't live, those ancient times where his family was one of the most powerful amongst the wizarding world.

But most of all, he was cursing all his former friends that got him into this mess, Malfoy, Goyle, Crabbe, all those bastards, he was cursing them and even laughed when he heard that they got life sentences in Azkaban, but most of all, he was cursing Voldemort and Harry Potter, it was kind of strange, he hated both of them equally, they were one side of the same coin for him.

He hated Harry Potter because he defeated the dark lord, and thanks to that all the investments that he did for the movement made him get nothing in return, the movement suck all his fortune and he wasn't going to get any penny back, that's why he hated Harry Potter and his kind.

On the other hand, he hated Voldemort due to all the sacrifices he had to make to survive through the war, he believed in the movement, that's why he financed it, but still, that didn't make him feel better, it wasn't just because he had to lend all his fortune to Voldemort, it was because the horror they had to live every time he landed on the Greengrass manor with his trustable followers.

He was still resented and cursed Voldemort, he was hoping that he was being tortured whenever he was right now, he was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't realize that someone had entered inside his office until a certain feminine voice startled him.

- Father – The eldest daughter said as she approached the older man who was thinking about everything that happened the last year.

- Oh… Daphne… Astoria, what are you two doing at this hour, shouldn't you be sleeping? – Asked the older man before he took a sip from his drink.

Daphne quickly took the bottle from him, he sighed.

- What is it, Daphne? Your old man just wants something to drink – The older man sighed.

- Father… There's something important we need to talk about with you – Daphne took her younger sister's hand.

Astoria looked at her older sister before she looked at her father and then she nodded.

- Can't it wait until tomorrow? – The older man wanted to drown his problems in alcohol.

- No father… This is important, this is about our family's future – Daphne said, she was serious all the time – What are you planning to do to save us from bankruptcy? – Asked Daphne no hint of doubts in her voice.

Her father laughed as if there was nothing wrong going on.

- What are you talking about dear? Bankruptcy? We're far from that! – He joked – I must admit that we don't have that much money anymore, but we're not even close to bankruptcy! – The blonde man tried to make them feel safer.

- Stop lying father… I have checked out the books! – Daphne placed her hands on her father's desk.

The older man was surprised by the way her eldest child was acting.

- I have seen the way mom acts lately… Many of our stuff had been disappearing lately, I know that you're selling our antiquities and you're even thinking of selling the house! – Daphne said trying her best to hide her anger before she facepalmed.

The older man didn't know what to say, he has been busted, he looked at the ground before he started to sob, he couldn't hide it anymore, Daphne looked at her younger sister and nodded to her, Astoria ran towards her father and embraced him.

- It's okay father… It's not over yet… Explain him, Daphne! – Astoria tried to make her father feel better.

The older man wiped his tears, and tried to calm himself before he looked at his eldest child, he had a hopeful expression.

- Is that true Daphne? Do you have a plan? Great, this is why you've been raised to take control of this family! – The father was on his knees, he ran towards his eldest child and she continued looking at him seriously.

- Yes… I have a plan, but you will not like it, but I'm afraid that there isn't another choice – Daphne said in a serious tone.

- What do you mean? – Her father was confused.

- A double marriage of course – Daphne said bluntly, she was getting tired of talking metaphorically.

- Double marriage? But there aren't enough wizards for each one of you! – The man was confused.

- Actually… The plan is that... We're going to marry the same man… - Daphne smiled softly as she thought about the man she was about to suggest.

- But… How can that be? – The father was getting more confused with each second that it passed.

- Don't worry about that father… He's the heir of two ancient homes – Daphne's words made her father get surprised.

He was thinking of the possibilities, that didn't sound so bad, gathering all the man's money into his family, he smiled wickedly, his Slytherin side was coming out to light.

- That… Doesn't sound like a bad idea dear – The older man got on his feet and it seems like he has forgotten about his drunkness – But, I've been thinking and I realized that I don't know a wizard with the characteristics that you're describing – Daphne and Astoria knew that this was their chance, no running anymore – Well, tell me his name and we'll see – The man didn't make an effort to hide his wicked smile.

Daphne gulped, she knew that this was a key moment where their future will be decided, she had to tell him.

- Harry Potter – But surprisingly, Astoria was the one who said the name, and she was confident about it.

Their father was stunned, and Daphne was too due to the way her usually shy sister was acting, she looked confident and ready to face everything that will happen, Daphne walked towards her sister and took her hand, both of them were staring at their father before they nodded at him, the man didn't know how to feel.
