Oliver was busy baking cupcakes while Francois sat in the living room drinking wine and watching the news. The news casters were just getting to reporting about the latest homicides when Allen and Matt kicks open the door arguing again while Kuma followed, Francois never really pays them any attention anymore. But something on the news caught their attention, "Police seem to believe that the Bermuda killers have returned; three years ago, twenty-one people were killed in Tallahassee, Florida. Officials are not certain why the infamous group has come back or if it is truly them, since the killers themselves have never gotten caught."
"Who the fuck are these bastards! Stealing our fucking spotlight and shit!"
"Allen, swear jar" Oliver bounced into the room carrying a jar labeled swears, Al just grumbled and dropped money into the jar.
"What does it matter there's plenty of murders that live in this town, what's a few more?" Matt stated looking bored, but he was still right, most of the killers here were countries rather than humans so what was the problem? It wasn't like the humans could last, either they will eventually get caught, get killed, or quit and die it wasn't like they were countries like them. All of them shrugged it off and went back to doing what they were doing.
A few moments later Oliver was about to walk out the door with a tray full of decorated cupcakes. "Where are you going with those?" Matt nonchalantly asks while keeping his eyes on the brightly colored cupcakes in question. "Across the street to welcome our new neighbors" Matt shrugged and turned to resume watching TV before answering, "they've been here for two weeks"
"I would have done it earlier, but I have been busy" he said smiling with a glint of mischief in his eyes.
"Your gonna kill 'em" Allen butted in returning from taking a shower and getting in clean clothes.
"Now that's just rude, they just moved here I wouldn't do that" and with that Oliver walked out the door and across the street; both Al and Matt looked at it each other knowingly. He's not going to kill them, yet.
He knocked on the door a couple of times before he was faced with two little girls who seemed to have opened the door, at first glance he would have mistaken them for twins.
"Hello sweethearts, is your mum home?" he asked
"Faaaaaaaaye!" the taller of the two-yelled back into the house. While they waited the two girls decided to question their visitor. "What's your name?" one asked; "Oliver Kirkland, what's your poppet?" the taller one answered him first.
"I'm Krissy-Ann and I'm five" she declared while holding up five little fingers as her sister started to speak.
"And I'm Dessi-Lu, I'm four, see!" But she did not give him time to respond to giving him their names "do you like bunnies?"
"Yes"
"I like him, Krissy!"
"Me too" they both smiled at each other then returned their attention back to Oliver. "You have dots just like us" they announced as they pointed to the freckles on their faces.
"Krissy-Ann, Dessi-Lu! What did I tell you about opening the door for strangers?" The new voice proclaimed before appearing at the door behind the girls. "Girls, go play." She started as the girls ran off, "sorry for them, unfortunately they happen to be fearless" she shrugged. Oliver just looked but couldn't help to think that this girl was too young to be the mother of those two little ones from before.
"They were fine, I'm Oliver Kirkland. Are you the little dear's mother?"
"Nice to meet you. I'm their older sister, Faye. I take care of the three of them, anyway moms gone, please come in."
Meanwhile across the street Al was outside working on his bike when he saw Oliver walk in the house 'yup, their dead' "Hey Matt! Where's my twenty bucks!"
Back to Oliver he was playing with the little girls and eating cupcakes that he brought over and was surprised at how many they had eaten. In the time that he was there, Oliver had talked with Faye when the other sister came home from practice. He learned that her name was Miya, she was ten and played basketball. The girl had freckles just like the rest of her sisters, wore glasses with her hair pulled up in a ponytail, she also happened to be friendly. Faye told her to go shower after she had gotten in and grabbed a cupcake or two. Then offhandedly mentioned that he caught them on a good day because the house was normally hectic and a bit of a disaster. Of course, Oliver understood and had invited them over for dinner the next weekend before he left for his home.
