A/N: Catlovingmermaid here with SpecialK92 with a new story so I hope you all enjoy it.

The peaceful night air was shattered by the sound of horses thundering down the past, a cry feeling the air, "The Princess's been kidnapped, the Princess's been kidnapped."

A figure dressed in a long black cloak fled before the horses, a small bundle held tightly against his chest, he was almost in the clear, he just needed to lose his tail. He ducked down into a dried stream bed, laying down flat as the knights thundered past.

This was it, all he had to do was make the rendevous point and he'll be in the clear. His brother-in-law and sister wouldn't be able to catch him now. He pulled himself out of the ditch, straightening his cloak, and vanishing into the dense forest.

The prearranged location was up ahead, he had been there before multiple times, soon he would have all the power and glory he rightfully deserved. He stepped out into the meadow and looked around, there in the center of the meadow was a stump shaped like a heart, and next to the heart stump was a tall skeleton man who was laying a baby wrapped up in a green blanket down.

"What do you have there Rito?" the dark figure demanded, dropping the pink bundle that he was carrying down next to the green bundle.

"Ed gave the baby to me," Rito said, thumping himself on the chest, "He trusted me to take care of the little guy."

"You mean Lord Zedd? Where did he get a baby?"

"He took him from his Mom and Pop," Rito explained, proudly, "killed them for getting in his way," Rito chuckled, "Rumor has it that they were a King and Queen from a different Kingdom, pretty neat huh Simon."

"Sigmund," the dark figure growled, "My name is Sigmund Gunther."

"Whatever you say, Simon Gutter."

Sigmund's face burned red, "Sigmund! Sigmund!"

"Jeesh, no need to get your cloak all in a twist," Rito grumbled, sticking a bony finger into his mouth, "We're on the same side, You're here for the same reason that I'm here."

Sigmund rolled his eyes up to the sky, why or why was he working with this nitwit, "And what exactly are you doing here, and where did you get that?" he demanded, jabbing a finger at the baby on the stump."

"Like I said, Ed sent me," Rito said.

"And where is Lord Zedd?" Sigmund demanded.

"He went after the Zeo Crystal," Rito insisted, "He's getting ready to free my sis from that dumpster that Zordon put her in."

"What happened anyway? What did Lord Zedd do?"

"Let me take you back," Rito said, flinging an arm around Sigmund, "To this morning in these very woods."

...

The birds let out an alarming screech as they broke through the cover of the forest canopy, underneath, lizard creatures trampled the undergrowth as they spread out.

"Find them," a hissing voice called out, "Don't let them get away."

The Lizard creatures let out hissing noises as they continued to spread out through the forest.

...

King Peter slid carefully into the cave that they had taken shelter in when it had become clear that Queen Isabella could go no further. Their child would soon be born, and there was no guarantee he would be able to protect the child and his mother from the creature that had invaded their kingdom, no doubt to harm their son. He had to do something to keep his wife and child safe from that Mesogog creature.

"Isa..." he called out only to trail off there was a man standing in the middle of the cave, a staff in his hand.

"What are you doing here?" he demanded.

"Please sir," King Peter said, his hand reaching for his sword, "I don't mean any disrespect, there's a lizard creature that is after us, he wants our son."

Zedd chuckled, "He wants your son does he?" he asked striking out lightning-quick, "Then I'll just have to take him for myself."

...

"So, Rito, what is so special about this Zeo Crystal?" Sigmund asked.

"I am glad you asked," Rito replied. "Ed has gained enough magic to release my sister from her dumpster. In case you don't know who she is, her name is Rita Repulsa."

"Why would she be stuck in a trash can?" Sigmund questioned.

"Simon don't you know anything."

"My name is Sigmund!" Sigmund shouted as he slapped Rito. "Didn't you get an education?"

"I only made it up to the third grade," Rito answered with a smile. "I got expelled for breaking the pipes in the bathroom, bringing a snake to school, and putting it in the toilet."

"You said snake," Sigmund interrupted as he raised an eyebrow. "What kind of snake?"

"A cobra," Rito snickered as he leaned up against a tree. "It was show and tell and I brought my cobra. I put in the toilet in the girls bathroom and had them screaming. It was April Fools Day and I wanted to pull a good prank."

"Didn't you learn anything?" Sigmund asked.

"I know my ABD's, 125's, and I know that 1-1 is 3 and 1+1 is 13."

"Zedd was right, you are dumb. Instead of talking about your stupidity, tell me more about this sister of yours," Sigmund requested.

"Zordon of Eltar sealed her away in s dumpster," Rito explained. "Ed, or whatever his name is found out from an old friend how to free her," Rito stated. "To free her we have to strike down Kingdoms and steal all of its magic. But, we are one kingdom short. He hasn't been able to search for the last one because he is having to lay low for a while."

"If it is because he is trying to hide from Zordon, I can help you and Zedd," Sigmund offered. While Sigmund and Rito were exchanging stories, they paid no attention to the two babies.

"We have to find Princess Kimberly!" shouted one of the knights. "We can't let Sigmund get away with her."

"So, the little girl has a name after all," Rito remarked as he watched the little boy stretch out his arm and wrap it around the princess. "Just so you know, the little boy has no name. He was snatched right after he was born."

"I don't know what you plan to do with the little boy, but I am going to use Princess Kimberly for my own evil purposes," Sigmund said. He paused as soon as the babies stopped crying. "Finally, they shut up! I wonder why."

Rito and Sigmund walked over to the stump and were stunned at what they saw. The little boy's left arm was wrapped around the princess's shoulder. She was snuggled into the little boy's side. Her head was resting on the little boy's shoulder and he was resting his head against hers. The princess gave a weak smile she stretched her little arm out and laid it across the little boy's chest.

"There they are!" shouted a knight.

Sigmund and Rito took off running and didn't even bother to pick up the babies from the stump. The knights found the two children sleeping peacefully. Without waking them, the leader of the royal knights lifted them from the stump and walked beside his horse, as he followed the knights back to the castle. When they made their way back to the castle, the leader found there were spots of blood on the green blanket.

"James, is everything okay?" Jan asked her husband as he handed the queen the princess.

"I found this little boy in the forest next to the princess," James explained as he laid the baby down on a table. They unfolded the blanket and found the little boy wasn't wearing any clothes. But, their eyes shifted to the little boy's legs. His legs had been bleeding. His legs were covered in claw marks, which appeared to fresh.

"Do you know where he came from?" Jan asked as she got out the first aid kit.

"I am sure that his parents are bound to be worried."

"The other knights searched and there was no one looking for him," James sighed. "He was just abandoned."

"Who would go off and abandon a newborn baby?" Jan asked as the queen walked over to them.

"If anyone was looking for him, they would have alerted everyone in the kingdom," Queen Caroline informed. "As much as I hate to stay this, this little boy wasn't wanted for some reason."

"Who wouldn't want a precious little boy?" Jan gasped. "He needs a good home and parents who love him."

"Jan, I think you and James should keep him," Queen Caroline encouraged. "You both have been wanting a child for years."

"I love the idea," James smiled in delight. "I would love to call this little boy my own. But, he doesn't have a name."

"I know the perfect name for him," Jan smiled as she looked down at her newly adopted son. "Thomas James Oliver. But, we will call him Tommy."

Author's note from SpecialK92:
So, this is our first chapter. At the last minute I thought it would be interesting to show Rito had been dumb and how he only had only completed a few grades in school.
