"Though she was an outsider she could be considered beautiful and strong"

"For she stood at a frightening height of six feet and 2 inches in her late youth"

"She stood about two more inches taller into adulthood, her shoulder blades in

perfect alignment made her intimidating, with piercing blue eyes in almond shape form and cupid bow, full shaped lips"

"Her long ravenous hair fell far below her waist and her high cheek bones glowed in the blistering sun, she was like a goddess amongst mortals to some and to others she was revered as a demoness, how few were those who saw her as one of them"

"She had a slight upturned button nose and soft arched angled eyebrows; she was called the raven hair lioness for both her beauty and strength with an intense appearance that many loved and many feared"

It was a late night on the island of Themysciria and the young princess Diana was asleep in her bed. So comfortable, so safe, and so beautiful was the young princess that even the prince of the Gargarean tribe longed for her hand in marriage. Though he longed for her, she did not return his feelings. Young princess Diana's heart would soon belong to a young kryptonian man. The alignment of the stars was shifting as the young princess lay in her bed and the moon and sun were coming into the same alignment and as the princess lay deep in her sleep, she had a dream. Dream sequence: Diana was lost in a sunny land where pine trees stood tall above the land. There were no clouds in the sky and as she looked around Diana noticed an eerie silence fell upon her. This came to realization when she saw nothing and no one in sight. The silence grew more intense as she saw a black wolf approaching her.

When the wolf was only two feet away it began to growl and bare its teeth. Diana reached out her hand and as she did the wolf stopped growling and ran back into the woods surrounding Diana's trail. Diana awoke in a sweat and felt a heat rise in her chest as she heaved for breath. The handmaids came running in along with Diana's mother who looked at her daughter with concern. "Diana, why were you screaming?!" Queen Hippolyta asked in a commanding tone. "I... I was screaming?" The princess asked confusedly. "Yes, you woke everyone" Hippolyta told her. "I didn't mean to...I didn't even know I was screaming, I'm sorry" Diana told them, still slightly out of breath

Hippolyta stood there for a minute pondering until finally she heaved a sigh of desperation. The world was changing in some way and whether it was for better or worse was up for debate. "Never mind then, everyone back to bed, all of you, we have much to discuss, and Diana I want to speak with you in the morning first thing before your lessons and training" Hippolyta told her a stern and solemn tone. "Yes mother" the princess nodded. With that everyone went back to bed. Meanwhile, in Metropolis a young man with a red cape flowing behind was flying in the skies as though he were patrolling the area when suddenly he heard a scream.

Quickly the young Superman flew to the rescue to find a young woman being robbed by a gang of mutant looking creatures. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" The woman shrieked. "Not till Ya give us your last dollar you whiny bitch!" one of the gang members said as his ugly face sneered at her. "Excuse me gentlemen but I am going to have to ask you to release the lady" a voice came from behind them. They all turned and there stood the man of steel himself. "Who the fuck are you?!" the leader spat at him. "That'll be obvious right after this." At that the man of steel took a swing at him while being careful not to blow his head to neutrons. Superman took the gang down and they were taken into custody by the police 15 minutes after.

As they were being taken into custody Superman saw the lady standing there alone still shaken up both by questioning and the whole incident. It was clear to him that it would take a long time to recover from this and that it may be a while before she ever walked alone at night again, though he understood that for obvious reasons. "Miss... are you alright" Superman asked being cautious with her knowing what she had experienced was very traumatic. "No...no I'-I'm Sc-scared" The woman managed to make out still in shock over what happened. "Is there anything I can do?" Superman asked being careful not to frighten the woman more than she already was.

One of the police officers came over. "Is everything alright?" He asked looking at Superman with suspicion. "I just want to go home...I've called my husband so don't even bother offering me anything!" She spat at the officer in anger. Superman could easily see that she was angry. The officer put up his arms and backed away, he was not going to deal with this tonight. The woman's husband showed up and took her home. Then the police questioned Superman. "Look all I did was show up and take down mutant madness that's it" Superman told them. "Are you sure that's all?" One of the officers questioned with suspicion in his tone.

"What does that mean?" Superman asked slightly defensively "You have super hearing, why didn't you come sooner?" The officer questioned. Superman looked up at him abruptly. The question was out of nowhere and made no sense. Superman had been flying all night over the city and was trying to help as many as he could. "I got here as soon as I could...I was...was helping everyone in need...I tried to get her but-" before Superman could finish the officer interrupted him. "So, you were flying over the-but then you had to...you know what Superman put your hands behind your back you're under arrest for proper questioning." The officer took out his cuffs.

Superman looked up in shock and was unsure of what to say. "What? You can't arrest me, I'm Superman" Superman tried to defend himself. "Let's go buddy, hands behind your back now!" The officer commanded him. Superman, not wanting to argue further, put his hands behind his back and the police proceeded to cuff him. The people all around them stood in shock. Superman was taken into custody to have continued questioning. There they asked him a series of questions, repeating all the questions they had asked him prior to getting to the police department and about his super senses and how they didn't lead him towards the crime scene sooner. "Look I've answered all your questions and given you all the information I have, what else do you want from me?" Superman asked in an irritable manner.

At that time, another officer came in to defend Superman. "Leave him alone" he told them sternly. "Superman may not be new, but he is still learning, all right, give him break!" The officer spoke in a firm tone to his fellow officers. At that the officers, questioning the man of steel, let him go. Angered Clark flew back to his apartment. What had he done to deserve that? He always protected the city and always followed protocol. It didn't make any sense. Meanwhile back on Themysicria Queen Hippolyta was assisting some of the women to help an amazon deliver her baby. "Keep pushing Elena, you are almost there, this baby is ready to come" the Queen encouraged. The amazon kept panting and screaming in agony. As this was happening princess Diana came to them and saw inside what was happening.

Hippolyta turned to see her daughter standing there and Diana quickly attempted to leave only to feel a hand grasp her should firmly. "What do you need Princess? Do you not see your mother is busy?" One of the midwives questioned the young girl sternly. "I'm sorry, I just...wanted to ask her something...I'll come back later" Diana told her softly. "No Diana, I'm fine what is it?" Hippolyta came out. She was covered in sweat and blood was dripping from her apron. As the midwife went back in the queen handed over her apron to be washed and then turned her attention back to her daughter.

Diana looked at her mother and then at the ground, then back at her mother. "Is it true what they're saying? That there is a Superman in their world?" Diana questioned her mother. Hippolyta narrowed her eyes and then looked at Diana. The young princess was still full of life and far too innocent to see the evils of mankind. "I don't know what you're talking about" Hippolyta turned away to back inside and help the woman deliver her child. "Mother I am not a child any longer!" The young princess protested. Hippolyta turned to glare at her daughter in her stance. "I deserve to know the truth!" Diana continued to glare back at her mother.

Hippolyta heaved a sigh. "Why would you want to know anything about their world? What about it interests you?" The queen asked her daughter. "I just want to know any place but this island, it's so boring and I've already seen every inch of it." The young princess answered. Hippolyta shook her head. "No Diana, I won't have it!" Hippolyta said sternly. "But mother, think of how much good we could do out there and all we could learn from them" Diana protested. "I have said my peace, Diana!" Hippolyta said in a less patient tone.

Diana was still adamant about leaving. "But mother, there is so much more out there" Diana said defiantly. "Diana I am warning you, don't push!" Hippolyta was getting irritated. "We could teach them about us" Diana continued as the queen became more impatient with Diana's protesting. 'Then we could connect, and everything would work and-" Diana was cut off by her mother. "Diana enough!" Hippolyta raised her voice. Diana took a step back shocked at her mother's reaction. "You don't want to connect with the rest of the world or at least see what it's become?" Diana asked her mother, saddened by her reaction.

Everyone else stood around watching the argument take place. "Diana, I don't understand why-" Before Hippolyta could finish Diana cut her off. "No mother your right, you don't understand...I'm going to-" Before the princess could finish a giant beast arose from the sea. The monster towered over the island and began attacking with its tentacles. The Leviathan had arisen from the depths of the ocean. The amazons got into their respective positions with weapons ready in hand. "Diana go inside now!" Queen Hippolyta commanded. "But mother-" Diana began to protest but she felt someone tugging at her arm. It was her teacher trying to take her inside and somewhere safe.

Once they were inside Diana began asking a series of questions as to what the monster was and where it came from. "My princess there is much I wish to tell you but we have no time" Delia, her teacher said. "I'm not going to hide away like some coward" Diana protested. "Do you even know how hard fighting in battle can be princess? You are not ready" Delia said. Once they got to Diana's room Diana grabbed her sword and shield and looked at Delia defiantly. "I'll show you how ready I am, and I will be the judge of whether I am worthy of fighting alongside my sisters!" Diana left the room with pride glowing in her eyes.

As the battle continued in the sea many of the Atlanteans came ashore to assist them. Then out came Diana with her armor on and sword and shield in hand. "Diana no! Go back inside" Hippolyta shouted to her daughter. Diana smirked. "Not this time mother" with that Diana took to the sky and midair lunged at the creature with her sword and hitting nearly all its weak spots. "Diana, quick it's weak to thunder use the rod of Zeus!" An amazon warrior called out to her. Quickly, Diana took out the rod and just as she was about to use it a force shifted the monster and the amazons fighting it into the air. Diana, unsure of what was happening, looked up and saw a man in a blue suit with red cape and boots blasting a red beam towards the monster out of his eyes.

Diana was amazed at this man, who was he? Why was he here? How could he have amazed her when he had only appeared to help them a few minutes ago? Whoever he was he continued fighting down the monster while getting the amazons to safety. One last punch from this Superman and the beast treaded back into the depths of the ocean. The amazons stood on the shoreline of Themysciria as they watched the man land on their island to assure them that the beast was gone.

Superman looked at Diana with a gentle smile. Something about his smile was so mesmerizing and charming. "You're strong" Superman told her. "I know" Diana smiled at him. "Enough!" a commanding voice called out. It was Hippolyta and she was glaring at this Superman. Who was he? Who did he think he was? They were amazons, they had never needed help from a man. "I don't know who you think you are but that was not your battle to be involved with!" Hippolyta glared down at him. "On the contrary your majesty it is my duty to help wherever I am needed" Superman told her. Diana stood there confused by her mother's reaction.

Superman bowed respectfully to the queen but still insisted he was only trying to help. "Mother he is right he just-" Diana was cut off by her mother. "No! This man got involved with matters that did not concern him" Hippolyta announced to all of them. "Mother this is wrong... he was trying to help us he-" Diana, once again was cut off by her mother cutting in. "No! He had no place to intervene, guards arrest him!" Hippolyta commanded them. "Mother no!" Diana cried out. "It's ok" Superman nodded at her. "We will discuss this later" Hippolyta turned to Diana. That evening Superman sat locked in his prison cell while the amazons their queen discussed his fate.
