Chapter 1: New Classmate

It was another morning at UA High. Class 1-A members were starting to wake up early, ready to start the school day. With Bakugou and Kirishima on breakfast for the whole class, they all say at the breakfast tables, idly chatting and goofing around as they waited for their meals to be ready. Bakugou could be heard screaming at Kirishima for either being slow or just for any other reason, which Kirishima had grown accustomed to as for being his best friend. Once their breakfast was ready and brought to the table, they all dug in and ate, thanking Bakugou and Kirishima for the meal. Soon after, they all headed to their classroom together, all wondering what was going to happen today.

"What do you guys think Mr. Aizawa has in store for us today?" Ashido asked with a skip in her step.

"I hope we're doing a fighting exercise. I'm tired of doing a bunch of homework assignments." Kirishima said.

"Oh please. I actually appreciate the paperwork. All the stuff he makes us do, it's always so hard core and almost deadly." Hagakure whined.

"But we're heros in training. That's the point." Kirishima argued.

"Whatever it is we're doing, I just hope it's not too much. I'm kinda tired." Kaminari jumped in.

"And who's fault was it for you staying up so freaking late?" Jirou joked. Kaminari gave her a look.

"Hey, don't you dare start! I had to stay up 'cause everyone just had to use me as phone charger again. If you guys keep this up, I'm gonna start charging you guys for this." He said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever Jamming-yay." Jirou continued. Kaminari growled at her angrily as she chuckle at her own joke.

"Let us all hurry to class everyone. We can save the chit chat for later." Iida said, swinging his arms to the entrance of UA. They all made their way to their classroom and took their seats. Aizawa hadn't come yet so they all continued to chat about random things, from school work to their daily lives. Soon enough, Aizawa came through the door and everyone grew quiet for class.

"Alright guys, listen up." He said. "Before we start class today, I've got some news: we have a new classmate that will be joining us today." Everyone gasped in intrigue as they all started audibly asking rhetorical question with each other.

"Wow, for real? Who is it?" Sero wondered.

"I hope it's another girl. We need some more in this class." Ashido commented.

"I wonder what kind of Quirk she has. I hope it's good for sparring." Kirishima said.

"Whoever the hell it is, I don't care. I'll just beat them like I do with all you losers." Bakugou said.

"Kaachan, don't be so mean. Why don't you see how powerful this person is first?" Midoriya said.

"Shut up, ya damn nerd! I said I don't care!" Bakugou yelled. Midoriya jerked back and quickly started apologizing to Bakugou.

"Alright, settle down already." Aizawa said. Everyone got quiet and turned their attention back to him. "If you guys wanna meet her, get into your gym clothes and meet me outside near the wooded area." Everyone gave him an even more intrigued look. "Just do it. You'll find out later. Get dressed." With that, Mr. Aizawa slumped his way out the classroom door. The others eventually got up and headed down to the locker rooms to get dressed, with each group still wondering who their new classmate was. The girls were all excited about the fact that they were getting a new girl classmate while the boys were interested in who she was, with Kaminari and Mineta automatically thinking pervy thoughts. When they were all dressed, they all made their way to the wooded area and looking for Mr. Aizawa. Eventually, they found him, chatting with another person but he turned his attention to them when they came close.

"So, Class 1-A," He said, turning his body aside and gesturing to the girl next to him. "This is Tera Chikyū, your new classmate." Everyone looked over at the girl, Tera. She had slick black hair in a form of a sidecut bob on her left side that reached to her neck. She was dressed in the UA gym outfit, but she didn't have any shoes or socks on, leaving her feet bare. The one notable feature she had was she had an eye patch on her left eye.

"Hello, Chikyū-san!" Iida, being the first one to greet her. "We welcome you to our class. I'm Tenya Iida." Tera took a look at Iida, up and down before giving him a simple nod.

"You guys can call me Tera. I don't mind." She said in a soft yet clear voice. Everyone looked at each for a second before they all said hello to her and introduce themselves to her.

"So, Mr. Aizawa, why did we get called out here?" Uraraka asked.

"Well, I did say you guys were going to meet her." Aizawa replied.

"Yeah, but why did you drag us all the way out here?" Kaminari asked. A small smirk appeared on Aizawa face, surprising everyone.

"Well, today we're going to focus on hand-to-hand combat, which means you're not allowed to use your Quirks during this exercise." He said. Everyone either gasped or groaned at that. "Since we are doing this and we now have a new class member, who excells at this type of combat, I thought this would be perfect for you guys to get to know her." Everyone was surprised at this.

"Seriously? We just met her and she's ok with us fighting her?" Sero wondered aloud.

"I'm not sure I want to fight the mademoiselle. She's too pure for me to lay a scratch on her." Aoyama said.

"A fight already? And without using our Quirks? Interesting." Yaoyorozu said.

"If she excells at hand-to-hand combat, this could be a perfect way to learn." Midoriya said.

"This would perfect for me if I wasn't so hesitant on hurting her." Ojiro commented. Suddenly, Bakugou push the people in front of him away and stepped up.

"Alright you wimps! If you guys are too scared to hit a girl, I'll be the first one to do it!" He yelled out.

"Dude, don't be such jerk. We just met her." Kirishima said.

"So what? I'll beat her to a pulp!" Bakugou replied as he stomped up to her. Mr. Aizawa sighed but nodded at Tera. She nodded back and turned to Bakugou.

"Remember Bakugou, you're not allowed to use your Quirk for this fight. This is strictly hand-to-hand only." Aizawa said.

"I don't need to use it." Bakugou growled as he stretched his arms.

"Alright, then you may begin." He said. He stepped back from the two and walked over to the front of the class as they watched. Bakugou stretched a little more while Tera just stared and waited.

"Waiting for me to make the first move, huh?" Bakugou said. "Tch, fine, I'll show you!" He then ran up and was about to lead with his normal right hook but before he could even land the hit, Tera dodged and grabbed his wrist and with a grand lift, she slung him over to the other side. Everyone gasped in awe at what happened.

"Whoa, that was cool!" Ashido said.

"She predicted his attack. Amazing." Shoji said.

"She seems pretty strong as well to be able to send him that far." Todoroki commented. Midoriya watched in awe while at the same time trying to see if he could learn her move set in case he got the chance to fight her. Bakugou growled as he stood up and dusted himself.

"Cute trick. Let's see if you can dodge this next one." He said. He started to run at her again, this time, taking a jump and was about to deliver a kick, but again, Tera dodged this. When Bakugou landed, he quickly took his free leg and whirled around to do another kick, but this time Tera dodged again by ducking and then spin kicked Bakugou's leg, making him fall to the ground.

"She did it again! She's so awesome!" Hakagure cheered.

"Very flexible. That's a good sign." Mineta commented.

"Get your head out of the gutter, Mineta. That's gross." Sero said. Bakugou growled again as he quickly stood back up.

"Quit joking around and just hit me already!" He shouted. Before he could even react, Tera quickly grabbed him, turned him around and held him in a tight hold while hold her hand over his mouth. Bakugou struggled a lot to try to get out of her tight grip but every time he reached for her or something, she either moved or tightened her grip.

"You are pretty skilled Bakugou, but the fact that you haven't been able to lay one finger on me shows how much you still have to learn." She said. "Your Quirk makes you exceptional at hand-to-hand but it still needs work." Bakugou then grabbed her by the legs in order for her to slip and maybe break her grip but even when she fell, she still didn't release him.

"Nice try, but I've seen that before." She chuckled. Bakugou continued to struggle before she suddenly let him go. He quickly turned around, ready to deliver a punch but Aizawa's scarf wrapped around his fist.

"Alright, that's enough for you." He said. "The others need their turn too." Bakugou growled but obeyed. When he went back to the group, Sero, Kirishima and Kaminari all immediately started to tease him, making him even more angry. One by one, the rest of Class 1-A all took their turn to try to beat Tera but almost each one that tried weren't able to even lay a hand on her with only a couple of them able to land a few hits. Midoriya kept watching, still trying to decipher her move set. There were some moves that she would do constantly and he noticed she stayed close to the ground as much as possible, barely ever doing any attacks in the air. He thought if he fights her, that might be the best strategy. He suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder coming from Uraraka.

"So what you thinking?" She whispered. "She's really good, right?" They turned back to the fight, which was between Tera and Sero now. He was amazed at how Sero was actually able to land a few hits on Tera, but they weren't as much as Tera was landing. Still, Sero was holding his own very well compared to others.

"Well, I've noticed that she sticks to ground attacks." Midoriya whispered to Uraraka. "It's probably why Sero is landing a few hits as he's focusing more on air attacks." Uraraka nodded.

"Yeah, I noticed that too." She said. "But still, it does seem like she's somehow predicting our moves." Midoriya watched some more, acknowledging that Uraraka was right about that. No matter who she fought, somehow Tera was able to accurately predict people's attacks and counter them incredibly. He was extremely intrigued by this. Soon after, Tera brought Sero down to the ground very hard. Both of them were panting heavily and they both had slight bruises.

"Alright, that's enough." Aizawa said. "Midoriya, you're up next." Midoriya nodded and made he way other. Tera took a few deep breaths before she walked over to Sero and held out her hand.

"You were good, Sero. Nice job." She said with a small smile. Sero grinned as he took her hand and Tera helped him up.

"Thanks. You really are amazing." He said. Tera nodded and thanked him before he left to join the crowd. When Midoriya walked up to her, Tera's eyebrows raised in slight surprise.

"I've heard a lot about you, Midoriya." She said. "I hope you bring me a challenge." Midoriya let out a breath and got into his stance.

"I just hope I can learn from you, Chikyū-san." He said. He then started running and made a jump to do a spinning kick. He knew Tera would duck to dodge and since he was already off the ground, she couldn't knock him down like she did with Bakugou. He also made sure to move his leg away quickly in case she tried to grab it. He was right as that's exactly what she did. When he landed, he wasted no time and did his next attack. He decided to try and make a grab for her but she dodged again, going to his side, ready for a punch. Instead, Midoriya caught himself with his hand and whirled around for a spinning kick. He could tell he caught her off guard but she was able to dodge him before she got to hit him.

"Huh, not bad." She commented. "You've been watching." Before Midoriya could react, she suddenly elbowed him in his ribs. Midoriya stumbled and groaned but dodged as she kicked, which he saw his chance. He noticed she was slightly off the ground and he saw the opening. He grabbed one of her arms, brought her close enough so she wouldn't escape and punched her in the stomach with his free hand, sending her to the ground. She groaned loudly and coughed hard. Midoriya gasped when he saw her spit some blood.

"Oh no, are you alright?" He said, quickly running up to her. Before he could offer his help, she grabbed his wrist, twisted it, and before he knew it, he found himself wrapped up in her legs on the ground in a tight hold.

"Just fine." She said. "You on the other hand, don't be so nice next time. If this were a real fight, the villains would be done with you and who knows what could happen." Midoriya struggled in her grasp before Aizawa came over and ended it.

"Alright, I think that's about everyone. Good job all of you, but this clearly shows you guys need some serious help with your combat. If you guys rely too much on your Quirks and a situation happens where you can't use it, you'll have to learn how to handle yourselves when that happens. Got it?" Aizawa said.

"Yes Sir, Mr. Aizawa." The whole class said.

"Good. Now get changed and head on back to class and if any of you need to see the nurse, go ahead. Tera, come with me. We've still got a few things to take care of." With that, Aizawa and Tera both headed back to UA while Class 1-A headed to the locker rooms to change back. All the way there, everyone was talking about Tera and wondering aloud about her, even when they went to get changed.

"Chikyū-san is very strong. Her fighting was very impressive." Tokoyami said as he changed out of his gym clothes.

"For real. I could barely land a hit on her. It was so tempting to use my Quirk. I bet you I would've beat her like that." Kaminari said.

"Speaking of that, I really do wonder what her Quirk is." Kirishima said.

"Maybe she's super smart or something. That's probably how she was able to predict our moves." Ojiro said.

"I doubt that. She was knowledgeable in her fighting but it wasn't perfect. There were times she messed up or missed attacks." Todoroki jumped in.

"Do you guys think it has something to do with the fact that she was barefoot? I found it weird she wasn't wearing any shoes." Sero said.

"Maybe." Midoriya said. "I don't know if you guys noticed, but she really made an effort to keep her feet on the ground. She hardly did aerial attacks and even when she did, they weren't that high off the ground."

"So you think it has something to do with that?" Shoji asked.

"I'm still not sure. I'm just thinking out loud here." Midoriya replied.

"Well, she's going to be in our class. Maybe we can ask her later." Iida said. "Now, hurry up and get dressed. We need to get to class."

The school day finally ended and everyone made their way back to the dorms. Yaoyorozu and Todoroki decided to go to the stores to get some food for dinner while the others all decided to hang out in the common area. Kaminari, Kirishima, and Bakugou played video games while the others sat around, chatting or watching.

"Ugh, why do you always gotta be so good at video games, Bakugou?" Kaminari whined.

"Why don't you try getting good for once, you idiot?" Bakugou replied.

"Maybe you should do the same Bakugou. Especially after how you got owned with the fight against Chikyū-san today." Kirishima said.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY, SPIKEY HAIR?!" Bakugou yelled.

"Calm down, Kaachan. We all ended up losing to Tera. It's no big deal." Midoriya said.

"MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS, DEKU!" Bakugou replied, making Midoriya jump.

"Y'know, I really do wonder where Chikyū-san is. Shouldn't she be here by now?" Hagakure asked.

"Well, Mr. Aizawa did say they had a few more things to do. Maybe they're handling something that has to do with her admission." Jirou said.

"Yeah, that makes sense." Uraraka said.

"I can't wait to officially meet her. She's so awesome." Ashido said with a squeal.

"Yeah, for real. She was a really good fighter and she seems interesting." Sero said.

"Hopefully we'll see her before the day ends." Midoriya added.

"And maybe ask her about her Quirk. I'm really interested to see what it is." Tokoyami said. The spent a couple more minutes just chatting and messing around before the doors opened. They all turned to see Tera walking through with a box in her hand.

"Oh, Chikyū-san!" Midoriya exclaimed. Everyone either waved at her or got up to greet her.

"Hello." She said with a small smile.

"Chikyū-san, sorry, but I just gotta say how awesome you were today." Hagakure said.

"For real! It was so cool to fight you." Ashido added. Tera chuckled and nodded her head.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope you guys didn't take it personally that this is how we ended up meeting." She said.

"Nah, don't worry about it. I think it was a great opportunity for us." Kirishima said. He got a little closer to her and held his hand over the side of his face. "Although I doubt Bakugou would say the same thing." He whispered.

"I'LL KILL YOU THE NEXT TIME WE FIGHT, YOU HEAR ME?!" Bakugou suddenly yelled. Everyone either laughed or tried to calm Bakugou down. Tera shook her head and let out a sigh.

"Well, I should get to my dorm. I need to unpack and settle in." She said.

"Oh, we'll help." Kaminari said.

"Yeah, we'd love to!" Uraraka said.

"No, it's fine, really. I only have a few boxes. It's nothing big." Tera objected.

"Well, at least let us help you get the boxes to your room. It's the least we could do." Sero suggested. Tera thought for a second before she smiled and nodded her head.

"Ok. There's six more of them outside. Careful, some might be heavier than others." She said. With that, Sero, Iida, Tokoyami, Midoriya, and Kirishima all went outside and grabbed the boxes. Sero and Midoriya were able to carry two boxes each while Iida and Kirishima carried the heaviest box together. Tokoyami grabbed the last box himself and followed Tera to her room, which was all the way on the fifth floor in a vacant room right next Ashido. When they got the boxes in, they again offered to help her unpack but she politely declined and thanked them for their help. Before they left to go back to the others, they told her that dinner will be ready soon and they'll call her down when it's time, which she thanked them again. They then went downstairs to join the others again as they continued to wait for their food.

"You guys sure she doesn't want any help?" Uraraka asked.

"No, she insisted on doing it herself so we let her." Midoriya replied.

"Ah, to leave a poor mademoiselle by herself to do work is just so harsh." Aoyama said.

"Dude, she said it herself. I doubt any of us could change her mind." Kirishima said.

"Yeah. Plus, we just met her and if she wants her space, we should respect her wishes." Ashido commented.

"She'll be joining us for dinner so we'll have plenty of time to get to know her then." Tokoyami said.

"Yes. Then we can ask all the questions we want." Mineta said with excitement.

"Don't ask her too many questions though. We don't want to make her uncomfortable." Shoji said. They suddenly heard knocks at the doors, which Iida immediately went to answer. Todoroki and Yaoyorozu finally came back with bags full of groceries. Kirishima and Bakugou then went to grab the bags and headed to the kitchen to make dinner. The others got themselves ready and headed over to the dinning tables. They chatted for a bit as they waited for their food to be ready. Soon enough, the smell of cooked meat, rice and veggies found their way to the dinning room.

"Hey! One of you extras go get the new girl! This is almost ready!" They heard Bakugou yell.

"I'll go get her. Be right back guys. Don't steal my seat." Sero said, getting up from the table. He quickly walked to the elevator and made his way up to the fifth floor. He then made his way to Tera's room and was about to knock on the door but he heard some soft talking. He couldn't make it out at first so he quietly put his ear to the door. It was still muffled but he could hear what she was saying for the most part.

"I'm still not sure about this. UA has already been the target of the League of Villains. Doesn't that put even more of a target on us?" He heard her say. Sero inched himself a little closer to get a better hearing. There was a pause from Tera but he couldn't hear anyone else in the room, which made him assume that she was possible talking to someone on the phone.

"You know I don't care about that. I don't want to put anyone in danger. If he finds out, you know he'll do whatever it takes to get to me, and I do mean whatever it takes!" He heard her say. Sero grew more interested at this, even though it felt wrong for him to eavesdrop on her private conversation. There was a much longer pause before he heard Tera sigh loudly.

"Fine. I trust you. I don't like this situation, but I know that we don't have any other option. I'll do what I can to make the best of it, ok? Thanks again. Goodnight." He then heard sigh again and say something in a whisper that he couldn't hear. Sero wasn't sure what to make of this, but he for some reason felt like he should keep this to himself. He made himself promise that he wouldn't tell anyone else in Class 1-A and he intended to keep it. He took in a quiet deep breath and knocked on Tera's door.

"Hey, Chikyū-san, it's me, Sero. Dinner is ready." There was a short pause and another sigh before he heard footsteps getting closer to him. He quickly stood a bit away from the door so that it didn't look like he was there long. Tera opened the door and nodded at Sero with a small smile.

"Thanks Sero." She said. Sero gave her a grin as he and Tera made their way down to the dinning room. While in the elevator, Sero kept finding himself glancing over to Tera, studying her. He noted that she again wasn't wearing any shoes and her casual outfit let him see how slim she was. She was wearing a tight spaghetti strapped tank top that reached to about her waist. It would've been showing her stomach if it wasn't for the tight yoga leggings she was wearing that covered that up. He also she was pretty... well, built. He found himself blushing as he made himself turn away.

Don't be such a perv. You're not Mineta. He scolded himself.

"Sero, do you mind if I ask you something?" He heard her say. Sero quickly shook his head to come back to his senses and looked at her.

"Oh, sure. Go ahead." He said rather quickly. He hoped she didn't notice that he was blushing or anything. He then saw her look down at his elbows.

"Your Quirk, does it have to do with the shape of your elbows?" She asked. Sero instinctively looked at his elbows and held them up.

"Oh, yeah. My Quirk is tape. I can shoot tape out of my elbows and use to swing around, attack and also use as support." He said. He saw Tera's eyebrows go up in surprise as she looked at his elbows again.

"May I?" She said, gesturing to them.

"Sure, go ahead." He said. He held his elbow out for her to see. She held onto it as she looked at them. Sero found himself gulping and feeling very hot. He looked up at the floor indicator, showing that it was almost to the floor where the dinning room was. Why did it feel like the elevator was going by a lot slower? He looked back down at Tera, who was still inspecting his elbow. He felt her go over the spot where his tape comes out, which made him tense up a little. Tera must've noticed this and looked up at Sero in surprise.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." She said, taking her hands off of him. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Sero quickly shook his head.

"N-no, you're fine! I just didn't expect that." He said. Tera chuckle awkwardly and rubbed her neck. The bell of the elevator finally rang and the doors opened. Sero let Tera go out first and he followed her out and led her to the dinning room. When the made it they're way over, Ashido and Hagakure immediately grabbed Tera and brought her over to the table to sit with them. Tera chuckled as they did this and greeted everyone when she sat down. Sero sat back down in his original seat, which was on the other side of the table from where Tera was sitting.

As they all ate, everyone introduced themselves properly to Tera and they all told her some basic things about themselves and what their Quirks were. Tera was more than interested in all of them and paid attention to each of them when they spoke. She even ended up laughing when Kirishima joked around with Bakugou, even though it made him mad. They soon were able to get all around the table and it led back to her.

"So, Chikyū-san, what about you? Tell us a little about yourself and your Quirk." Iida said. Tera chuckled at that.

"Well, first of all, I told all of you that can call me Tera. I don't mind it at all." She said. Everyone nodded at that. "And, unfortunately, I've been sworn to secrecy by Mr. Aizawa to not tell you what my Quirk is."

"Huh? Why not?" Midoriya asked. Tera winked at him and held her finger to her mouth.

"You'll find out soon, don't worry." She teased.

"Well, tell us about yourself anyway. We would love to learn more about you." Yaoyorozu said.

"Ok." Tera agreed. "Let's see, my favorite color is blue, my blood type is O, my favorite food would probably be a tie between salmon takiyaki and mushi pan, I like to read, I love music and I love to sing. I can also play the piano and violin."

"Wow. You and I should get together sometime." Jirou exclaimed.

"Yeah. This girl is totes talented. We just did a music performance recently and we would've been lost without her." Kaminari said, pointing at Jirou.

"Shut up already, idiot." Jirou said, her cheeks getting pink from blush.

"Anything else?" Todoroki asked Tera. She nodded in response and held her finger up as she swallowed the bit of rice she just ate.

"Well, this is honestly kinda embarrassing, but..." She chuckle nervously as her face turned pink and she fiddled with her chopsticks. "I use to be in ballet and in a modern dance class when I was little. I can still dance and I sometimes do it on my free time."

"Huh, that explains your impressive flexibility and amazing body." Mineta commented, glancing down at her chest. Hagakure, who was sitting right next to him, quickly slapped him.

"Don't be such perv!" She said.

"You seem very talented, mademoiselle." Aoyama said.

"Yes, very much. Were you originally going to become a hero?" Tokoyami asked.

"No, actually." Tera answered before she took another bite from her rice. "I was going to be a musician and dancer until..." Tera suddenly stopped herself from talking and looked away for a second. Everyone noticed her demeanor changed and she looked a little sad. She shook her head and gave them a small smile.

"Well, that doesn't really matter. After I got my Quirk, that's when I decided to change careers and become a hero." She said.

"Were your parents supportive of this?" Shoji asked. Tera's face again changed but it was only for a second before she smiled and nodded rather quickly before she continued eating.

"Well, I hope we get to be good friends, Tera!" Uraraka said with a big smile.

"Yeah! We're so pumped to have you here!" Kirishima said.

"I agree. I humbly welcome you again to Class 1-A, Tera!" Iida added. Everyone agreed with them and said welcome to Class 1-A at the same time. Tera smiled greatly, thanked them again, and said she was happy to be here.

After their meal, they spent a couple more hours in the common room chatting and having fun while Midoriya and Uraraka washed the dishes and Shoji took out the trash. Soon enough, it was time for everyone to turn in and they all said goodnight to each other and went to their respective rooms. Sero decided to stay for a little bit and read to himself. He kept a small light near his bed on as he read through a new book he just got. It had to do with a little boy finding another boy in a secret place that only he knows about. He decides to keep him a secret because the other boy says if he tells, something bad will happen to him. He always comes to see him though and the two become best friends. He was about half way through the book and it was getting tense with the boy's family getting suspicious about what's going on.

"Man, talk about nail biting." He said to himself. As he continued to read, he soon found his mind wandering and thinking about Tera. He glanced over at his door, knowing that she was right across from him. He thought about everything she said, from the things she likes, to her hobbies, her looks, her body... He suddenly shook his head at that and found himself feeling very hot.

"Crap! Mineta really got to me!" He said to himself. He tried to get back to reading but he kept thinking about Tera. He wondered about how good of a dancer she was and how her singing and instrument skills were. He kinda wanted to see her perform one day. There was one thing he wondered though, something she hadn't told them about. One thing he wondered was why she was still barefoot, even when she changed to her casual clothes. The other thing he wondered was the eye patch she had on her left eye. What could've happened to her? Could it perhaps have to do with what happened before she came to UA? Was she in a nasty fight? Did it have to do with her Quirk? Dozens of questions came to his mind that he groaned in frustration as he marked his book and closed it.

"Forget it." He said. "Might as well try to sleep." He then turned off the light and laid down on the bed. His mind still ran with the questions and thoughts about Tera. Why was he thinking about her so much? He couldn't have gotten attached to her this quickly, right? He turned in his bed at the thought of that. He didn't want to think that right. All he wanted to do was sleep. He closed his eyes, his mind still rampant with the thoughts but forced himself to push them away. Eventually he found himself finally able to fall asleep, Tera still being the last thing he thought of before he did.
