I need to tell her how I feel soon, I just need to find the perfect time. The alpaca pulled out his phone to check the time, it was around 6:15. I should tell her after dinner. He walked a little longer until he felt a hand rest on his shoulder. He looked behind him to see a huge wolf towering over him."So, how's your confession coming along, Tem?", the wolf asked teasingly. "I have a feeling I already know the answerrr~" "I'll tell her in time Maxwell, I know I will.", Tem assured as Maxwell went ahead. "You better!" The wolf shot back playfully. The pair continued their walk on the school grounds until they reached the cafeteria. Once they got there, the pair got their separate dinners and sat down together at a table.
"How was your day, Maxwell?" The wolf looked up towards Tem and responded with, "About the same as most days, I wake up and eat, go to classes, go to drama club, and put up with Louis yelling at us for messing up. What about you?" Tem chuckled and took a second to think. "The same as you for the most part.", he replied. "So, how do you feel about the play coming up?", Maxwell asked. "I'm pretty confident I'll do well, I'm still a little nervous about it though, to be honest." Tem answered. "I just hope I don't mess it up…" Maxwell rested his hand once again on Tem's shoulder to comfort him. "Don't worry.", Maxwell calmly reassured. "I know you'll do great." "Thank you." Tem then smiled and hugged Maxwell. "You've always been a brother to me." Maxwell started wagging his tail when he heard those words. "You too, Tem." They released from their embrace and continued their conversation as they ate. It was only until after they finished their food did they realize how late it actually was. Maxwell was the first to speak up. "I suppose we should probably go to our dorms.", he suggested. "Yeah, we really should! See you tomorrow, Maxwell!", Tem said. "You too, Tem!", Maxwell responded. They then went their separate ways to each of their dorms, looking forward to seeing each other again tomorrow.
