A/N: Big thank you to BitterSweetTeller for helping me out with this.
It was a rainy night in Middleton. World renowned teen hero Kim Possible was with her boyfriend and sidekick Ron Stoppable. They were walking home from their latest date. "I just love holding your hand, Ron." Kim smiled.
Ron blushed. "Thanks, Kim." Ron added.
"You're so welcome, Ron." Kim added. "You know...I can't wait for our big game next month. You're gonna knock them dead in the field with your mad running skills!"
"Yeah. It's all in the wrist, Kim. Or is it in my legs?" Ron said with a smirk.
Kim giggled at that. Soon, they approached the door to Kim's house. "Wanna come in for awhile? The rents aren't home right now." Kim offered.
"Thanks. But...no thanks, KP. I'm...just gonna head home and get some rest." Ron figured. He was uncontrollably yawning a little. "And I will not wake you up at 3:00 in the morning. I swear." He put a hand up like a boy scout.
"Okay. Sleep tight, Ron." Kim smiled. She gave Ron a kiss on the cheek. They waved goodbye to each other. Kim turned back toward him. She kept smiling at watching him casually walk away.
Then, Kim headed inside her house. She made her way towards the living room. Then, she headed up for her bedroom. That's when she spotted her twin brothers, Jim and Tim, aka the Tweebs, watching something on their laptop. They left the door to their room open. Kim decided to go into their room to see what they're up to. "What are you doing?" Kim casually asked.
"Oh. J...just watching something." Jim smiled. Tim was smiling too.
From the open doorway? Kim quickly glanced around their room. No technology was stolen from her room. Kim was about ready to just shrug away her curiosity.
But...her curiosity for what Jim and Tim are watching won out. Kim walked over to her brothers. She peeked at what they're watching. And...Kim cringed at what she saw. She saw a man being smothered to death with plastic by a deranged killer.
"What is this? Some kind of horror flick?!" Kim asked. She was getting teary eyed.
"No way! This is actually real!" Tim smiled.
"You should have seen this when it was live!" Jim added. Kim's stomach sank. She gulped very nervously when her brothers said that. She was glaring right at Jim and Tim.
"What?! They're livestreaming this all over the web?! People are getting hurt, and you're okay with this?! I can't believe you two!" Kim cried out. She started to storm out of the room.
But...Jim and Tim called out very nervously to her.
"Kim... They're still alive. Yeah. They are. Aren't they?!" Jim and Tim called out in concern. They were on the verge of tears. They were sniffling hard some. Kim kind of slowly turned back to face them. Tears fell from her face. But...she tried hard now to put up a brave face in front of her brothers.
"Fine: I'm listening. Explanation: Now!" Kim told them.
Jim and Tim gulped very nervously. After a bit?
"It's a cat and mouse game. The victims are supposed to fight back!" Jim started. Jim let the recorded livestream resume playback.
"And wow, do they put up a good fight. Until they lose of course." Tim finished.
Kim then witnessed another boy in the backyard being killed with a running water hose. It was too much for her to stomach. She shut the laptop off. She closed her eyes...trying hard to think away the images she just saw. This was much to the growing uncertainty of her brothers.
"Hey!" Both tweebs protested. After a long minute? Kim finally spoke.
"I don't care how you justify watching this: How come anyone hasn't reported this?! Why didn't you tweebs call the cops when this was live?! Why wouldn't at least Wade call the cops on them?!" Kim asked in anger.
"We would have if we could! Trust us!" Jim said.
"They bleeped out the address info before anyone could do anything!" Tim figured.
"And they constantly change the IP." Jim pointed out.
"Yeah! I want to see Wade be that fast. But, he isn't without a good time window." Tim figured.
"We even tried to find the IP ourselves. But, no luck." Jim finished.
Kim sighed in her hand in very mixed feelings. Yeah. B...better for me not to tell the tweebs everything that's off here. These mysterious stalkers are livestreaming real killings! But, I can't tell the tweebs: At least not until they're eighteen, Kim thought to herself.
"So... Are we in trouble?" Jim and Tim couldn't help but wonder.
After a bit? Kim looked up. She shakily shook her head.
"No. You...you're not. But...we got to find out who's doing this. Just please avoid watching this: At least until we find out who it is. If you do this for me? I won't tell on you. F...fair enough, Jim and Tim?" Kim sincerely suggested.
"Well... Okay." Jim solemnly conceded.
"Yeah. W...we won't." Tim solemnly conceded.
They also hated seeing Kim so upset at them.
"Thank you. Well... I'm going to bed. Night Tweebs." Kim more lightly said.
"Good night Kim." Jim and Tim said.
Kim finally headed to her room. She wanted to forget about the whole thing. She got herself ready for bed.
But...as soon as she was in her bed? She decided to investigate the matter for herself instead of just going to sleep. She then pulled out her Kimmunicator. She researched everything about the livestreamed murders through her Kimmunicator. It started in California with the first family all dead. Another family was attacked. But, the fifth family member was missing. Kim then found that the missing girl's body was found at the third family's house. It was where two teenage kids, Jamie and DJ Carr, were kidnapped.
Kim then found out that four more murders were committed via livestream in California. But...in California or not all in California? It was hard to tell. The locations of the families blurred out to Kim. But, that might have really been the teariness in her eyes. Kim couldn't bear to stomach it all.
It wasn't long before she turned off her Kimmunicator. She tried her hardest to think happy thoughts.
Soon? She fell fast asleep.
The next day, Kim was talking with Ron in the school hallway between classes.
"Murdered via livestream?!" Ron asked in horror. "That is just sick and wrong!"
"Tell me about it. Or, better yet...don't. But, I...I still got to tell you." Kim said.
She was shuddering at what she saw last night. Ron was shuddering too.
"Okay." Ron very nervously just said.
"And they haven't found those other guys: Jamie and DJ. I mean...Jim and Tim don't even really know people are actually getting killed, and it should stay that way until they're older. But, why would anyone want to watch a brutal cat and mouse game when they know it's so wrong?!"
"Entertainment, Kim. Why do you think there are Bricks of Fury movies?" Ron was trying to point out.
Kim gave him a somewhat tense glare. Ron gulped nervously.
"Ron...look. I know what you're trying to tell me. But... No." Kim said.
"Umm... Thanks?" Ron awkwardly said. He and Kim faintly smiled at that.
"But, as I was going to say... More people should know that by not doing anything at all, they're as guilty as the killers! At least Wade can help us get them." Kim said.
"Right and right." Ron agreed.
Suddenly, the bell rang.
"Well... I...I better get to class. Later, Ron." Kim figured.
"Yeah. Yeah. Me too." Ron added. Kim quickly kissed Ron on the lips.
Then? Kim was pulling Ron along quickly before he could kiss her back.
They both were headed off towards History.
At History class...
"Alright, listen up people!" Mr. Barkin practically shouted. "Starting today, we have a new student joining us."
Then? He opened the door. A teenage girl came in. She was about Kim's age. She even had red hair and green eyes similar to Kim's. She shakily entered the classroom. Kim looked into her eyes for a bit. And, they both couldn't help but think that they were looking into a mirror.
"State your name Miss." Mr. Barkin said.
"Jamie." the girl shakily whispered.
"SPEAK UP!" Barkin bellowed out.
"Jamie!" She said a little louder.
"Good. Please. Take your seat." Barkin ordered.
Jamie then walked across the room. Some students were looking at her with concern. Some were looking at her with curiosity. But, one was looking at her with bitterness.
"Don't even think about it, freak-o." Bonnie warned. She did not want Jamie to be anywhere near her.
Jamie then looked around for a place to sit. Kim then nervously smiled. She looked at her.
"You could sit next to me. I really don't mind." Kim tried to assure.
Jamie smiled a little. She sat down next to Kim.
"Thank you." Jamie shakily whispered.
"No big." Kim whispered back. Kim then curiously looked at her. "You look familiar. Are you sure I don't know you from somewhere?"
Jamie shook her head rapidly. She put her head down.
"You aren't going to believe me anyway." Jaime muttered nervously under her breath.
Kim very nervously was about to say something.
But...before Kim could say anything? Mr. Barkin started the lesson plan for today.
"Now, let's start our lesson. This week...we'll be learning about the kidnapping, the crimes, and the trial of the infamous Patty Hearst." Barkin said.
