I don't know if anyone is still reading OUAT in Wonderland fanfiction. I don't know if I have any Knalice shippers here, but if I do this is for you! Please feel free to leave a review!

I love Knalice. To me, they make so much more sense. Maybe it was just the chemistry between the actors. Whatever it was...Will/Knave and Alice are THE ship y'all. This will be a series of mostly unrelated one shots.

Enjoy with the knowledge that this is obviously not all canon and might be slightly AU.

Please Review :)

"We've been through here already!" Alice plopped down on the ground, defeated.

"I believe you're right," Will agreed.

Alice took a deep breath and let it out. Will sat down beside her.

"What if-"

"What if what?" Will asked anxiously.

"What if he's really gone? When we came back to Wonderland I was so sure. I was so confident that I could feel him here..."

"Don't talk like that."

"I'm afraid it's true. I'm not sure of anything anymore."

Will took her hand in his, the way he had many times before, "We'll keep looking until we find proof either way."

Alice was no longer sure what she wanted. Teaming up with Will again had made a lot of things change for her. It wasn't anything automatic. It was a slow change. Something she had only just begun to notice. The way he moved, fought, laughed at her, protected her...

Her heart was beginning to feel torn. That night Alice shivered into her cloak beside the fire. Movement flashed beside her and she opened her eyes to see Knave stoking the flames. He leaned himself back up against a tree and reached out to touch Alice's hand.

"Alice? Come over here,"

She sat up, "What is it?"

"Your lips are blue. You're quite literally freezing,"

I'm all right." she insisted before laying back down.

"Stubborn girl," he muttered under his breath.

He reached out and snaked an arm around her middle dragging her closer to him.

"What are you doing?" she asked frantically.

"I'm gonna get you warm whether you like it or not," he said as he pulled her back against his chest.

The truth was, she was afraid she would like it. It had been weeks, months even since she and Will returned to Wonderland together. All that time looking for her lost love. Even as she knew that she couldn't help but begin to fall for the Knave of Hearts all over again. Before she met Cyrus, she and Will were close. Very close. There were times...times she thought she might be falling.

Things were just too difficult back then. Not like they were easy these days, either. But here, in the night as she shivered and he held her against his body everything seemed so black and white.

It was anything but.

"There," he whispered against her ear, "Isn't that better?"

The sensation of his hot breath sent even more chills down her spine, and caused a heat to flicker in her belly. Will wrapped himself around her and smelled the scent of her hair. He could feel like curves of her body. He wanted to feel more and he hated himself for it. His mind flashed to a time when she was almost his, but he was too much of a coward to do anything about it.

A great girl like you won't be alone for long...

He'd actually said that to her one of the last times he saw her. Now, she had Cyrus. Whom they had been trying to find for what seemed like forever. Every night camped out under the stars with Alice, his best friend. Could be worse, he supposed. Was it just his imagination or was she pressing against him? Just the thought stirred arousal within him. He was a man, after all.

"Alice?" he whispered into her ear again.

She turned in his arms so they were face to face. Suddenly, Will became very aware of her. From this angle he could see the tops of her breasts as they were pressed against him. Her delicate lips slightly parted, and her doe eyes searching his. They'd never lead on, never discussed these feelings, but in the night things just fell out of control.

Will let a strand of her hair slips between his fingers. Alice reached over to stroke his cheek.

"Will,"

He wanted to kiss her. He wanted to feel her body, to please her, but he was more afraid of her regretting anything they did. So, instead he summoned all his strength and guided her head down onto his chest, and moved his hand from her hip.

"Go to sleep, Alice." he almost begged.

And soon, her breathing evened out and he knew she was resting. No sleep came for Knave that night as he wrestled with emotions that terrified him more than anything he'd encountered in Wonderland.
