The camera fades from black to reveal a beach as it pans down to reveal an unconscious gengar lying on a beach who is heard groaning as he gets up while rubbing his head.
"My head…, what is going on," the gengar said to himself before looking around to notice the beach was deserted and then looked right to notice there was also an unconscious clefable lying on the beach, the gengar slowly walked up to the clefable, taking a close look at it as it was heard groaning, waking up to look up at the gengar.
"A gengar?" the clefable said in confusion.
"What do you mean gengar, wait how are you talking?" the gengar asked.
"How are you talking?" the clefable asked back, the duo soon looked at themselves before looking at the ocean, to notice their reflections, making the duo scream.
"What happened, why am I a gengar?" the gengar asked himself.
"And why am I a clefairy?" the clefable asked herself.
"What the fuck happened, I was sailing with my wife, and then lightning struck the boat, and then I woke up here on this beach as a gengar" the gengar said, putting his hands on his head in a panic, the clefable turned to look at him.
"Wait, the same thing happened to me, Drake, is that you?" the clefable said to the gengar, who upon hearing the name Drake made him turn to face her.
"Olivia?" the gengar now named Drake asked the clefable.
"Yeah it's me, Drake," the clefable now named Olivia said with a smile, as the duo soon ran up to each other and embraced in a hug.
"Why are we like this, do you think it might have been something to do with that lightning strike?" Olivia asked Drake who was looking around.
"I don't know, but we should scout the island, I can see smoke coming from the distance, there might be others" Drake replied, pointing at the smoke in the distance.
"Are you sure it's gonna be safe, we don't even know what's on this island" Olivia asked with concern.
"Olivia, we're not gonna get anywhere if we don't look around for supplies, you trust me don't you?" Drake said.
"Well, we only just recently got married and wanted big changes in the future starting with you, and this is not what I was expecting, becoming pokemon and waking up on a beach," Olivia said.
"Then let's start the marriage by exploring together," Drake said, putting his hands on Olivia's hands before walking off into the forest with Olivia following close behind.
Drake & Olivia wander through the forest while holding hands as a stick was heard snapping behind the duo, making them freeze with wide eyes before growling was heard, the duo slowly turn around to face a bush, as glowing red eyes appear from it, before a lycanroc steps out from it, growling at the duo while circling them.
"Stay behind me Olivia," Drake said, protecting her from the lycanroc as he notices a stick on the floor, attempting to reach for it as the lycanroc barks, before pouncing Drake, the duo falling to the floor while Olivia backs up from them as Drake attempts to push the lycanroc away as it attempts to bite him, soon managing to bite Drake on the arm, making him scream in pain as the lycanroc attempts to bite Drake again but was blasted by electricity as the trio would notice a raichu was there sparkling electricity, the lycanroc charges at the raichu but was blasted again towards a tree, getting impaled by a stump, making the lycanroc howl in pain before dying as the raichu and Olivia make their way towards Drake who was holding his bleeding arm.
"Drake, are you okay?" Olivia asked.
"I got bit by a fucking lycanroc, what do you think?" Drake snapped sarcastically as the raichu makes his way toward the duo and looks at the bite mark on Drake's arm.
"We have to get him to the camp, come with me, it's not safe out here," the raichu said before he and Olivia help Drake up to get to the camp.
The trio would later arrive at a camp filled with pokemon as they enter a tent where a chansey was tending to other pokemon as patients.
"Nurse, brought in another rescue, his arm was bitten by a lycanroc" the raichu said as he and Olivia lie Drake down on a bed as the chansey walks up to him to look at his bite wound.
"That's really bad, i'll tend to his wounds as soon as possible" the chansey said before walking off as Olivia grabs her hand to stop her.
"He'll be okay right?" Olivia asked the chansey with concern.
"Don't worry, he'll be in the best hands possible" the chansey replied as Olivia lets go of the chansey before walking off.
Olivia was later sitting down on a log looking upset as the raichu walks up to her holding two cups of coffee and sat down next to her.
"Sorry about your friend, I wish I got there sooner, I did make you a coffee to hopefully cheer you up," the raichu said.
"Thank you" Olivia said, taking a sip of the coffee, loving the taste of it.
"You're not from around here you, no pokemon here would be foolish enough to go out into the woods without much training, but we have had a lot of those in the past few years" the raichu said.
"Yeah, me and my newlywed husband woke up here, and we…" Olivia paused, realizing that if she told this raichu she and her husband were humans, they could lose the trust of the others.
"We were sailing together as our first date after the wedding, then lightning struck our boat, we were knocked off it, and woke up on this island," Olivia said, leaving out the part of them being humans.
"I see, and are you planning to leave the island?" the raichu asked.
"Yes, but not straight away, maybe just stick around for a bit, get to know the locals a bit better" Olivia replied.
"Well, here's a start for you, my name's Tony, I'm one of the rescue team members here, I just started last week, and my training went well, you and your husband have been my first official rescue really" the raichu now named Tony said.
"This training, what exactly is it?" Olivia asked.
"Well there's lots of training, you have to practice very well, one screw-up could ruin you, like this," Tony replied while pointing at his hip, which Olivia would notice there was a massive stab wound on it.
"How did that happen?" Olivia asked.
The camera cuts to Tony in a high ropes course during a rainstorm.
"I was doing the high ropes course, practicing it out for fun, then I slipped" Tony narrated as he swung on the high ropes before slipping on a piece of wet wood, and fell off, grabbing hold of one of the wooden platforms, snapping it off as he fell, hitting the floor with a thud as the wooden part that Tony snapped off, fell towards Tony, stabbing him in the hip as Tony screamed in pain.
The camera cuts back to Tony & Olivia at the camp.
"The nurse said I was lucky to survive, if that wood went deeper, I would have lost the ability to walk," Tony said.
"Why would you go out on a high ropes course in a rainstorm in the first place?" Olivia asked.
"It was one of the difficult challenges set by the camp, I thought I could make it, but I was wrong," Tony replied.
"Maybe you shouldn't push yourself a bit too much, take it easy on your body," Olivia said.
"I guess you're right, you should probably go and see how your husband is doing," Tony said as Olivia nodded before getting up to make her way to Drake.
The clefairy patches up Drake's arm just as Olivia enters the tent.
"There you go, all better now," the clefairy said with a smile.
"Thanks, nurse, well I suppose we better start working on a way to get off this rock," Drake said while getting up.
"Hold on Drake, let's stick around for a while longer, I want to see something," Olivia said.
"What kind of something…?" Drake asked with concern as he raised his eyebrow.
