Percy's POV
Hi, my name is Percy Jackson, I'm a half time ADHD high school student and a full time monster fighter, the monsters tend to like me a lot since I am a son of Poseidon. But anyways once I got dressed up then when downstairs to get ready for my mom, Sally's, delicious blue pancakes was when she told me one of the most horrid news in the world.
"Percy, honey, Paul (Or , he's my step-dad as well as my English teacher) had some urgent things to deal with today so you got to walk to school today."
My brow furrowed "Walk?"
"Yes Percy, but there will be a surprise for you at school today." She said, her eyes sparkling as she sat down next to me.
"Mom!" I cried, making the "o" sound as long as possible "Please tell me!"
She shook her head and gave me a mysterious smile. "You will know when you get to school and…" she looked down at her watch "Percy I got to go now, you know the publisher thing, see you after school then!"
-Line break-
Okey. So I'm now already at the school gates and I don't see anything or anyone special. Not cool. I walked through the gates up the stairs, to the lockers, still nothing. Great! I huffed as opened the lock to my locked, the password was, well, obviously not my birthday, too many people knew that. My password for the lock was my awesome gorgeous girlfriend Annabeth Chase's birthday.
"Hey Perce." Said Janice. I flinched at the name because only my bro Jason Grace calls me that. Now, Jason's in Elysium. Janice leaned onto the locked besides mine. "You mind coming with me to see the newest movie tonight, we can choose which one to see once we get there. And by the way, just you and me."
"Janice." I said plainly, well me and Janice were on good terms, that is before she started to be like all the other girls at school because before that, she was kind of nice(I'm saying this in a friend kind of way of course!). She didn't wear a lot of makeup like the other girls did, nor did she wear those clothes that were inappropriate for school "Thanks for the offer but no, I have a girlfriend her name is Annabeth Cha…"
"Yeah yeah, your model girlfriend on Instagram you use to shove away the other idiot girls in our school. I know Percy, I feel you, now since I've already asked you out…"
At that moment I finished packing my things so I shut my locked door shut and said "Bye! See you later in English class Janice." I turned and bumped right into someone.
