Wally West was currently recovering from being in the speed force for he wasn't sure how long, since during Crisis, just before the anti matter wave could hit him, the speed force had pulled him into it, since as an entity that existed outside of the space and time, the speed force was one of the few places not affected by the antimatter wave.
He wasn't sure how long he was kept in there before he found himself being turned into a bolt of lightning that struck another version of him, he was assuming it was his counterpart from whatever new world had been created, since even though he couldn't interact with them, Wally had been able to feel when Barry had taken the extra energy into the speed force and when he and the others had entered it. However, that didn't mean that Wally hadn't been able to help them. When the Anti Monitor attacked, Wally had managed to direct the spectre energy towards the Anti Monitor to not only repel him, but also purge the energy from the speed force and maintaining it, since Wally could tell what a negative impact the energy was having on the speed force, so he purged it. Anyways, from the speed force, Wally had been able to watch as Barry and other paragons fought Anti Monitor and his forces at the dawn of time and managed to restore the universe.
Anyways, after Wally took over his counterpart's body, he found he also had his double's memories, which made it a lot easier for him to keep up appearances. Wally had already gone through those memories and found out that in this reality, Cecille was his mom and as such, he'd grown up with Iris and his dad around. He was also an engineering student at Keystone University, along with being a former drag racer, since Wally had quit when he found out he didn't need a car to move a 200 miles per hour and now he could move even faster.
But anyways, Wally had discovered his counterpart had already obtained a connection to the speed force, though Wally wasn't sure why he hadn't just taken over then, but whatever. Anyways, Wally had discovered that since his double had gotten his speed, he'd actually begun working with none other than Felicity Smoak, who in this reality was the founder and CEO of one of the largest tech companies both in the city and on the planet.
He still didn't know how Felicity had discovered his connection to the speed force, but she had quickly decided to help him not only learn how to use his speed, but also help him use it to help people, since one thing that was constant in both realities was that Felicity was a huge comic book nerd.
Anyways, right now, Wally was currently currently running around the track Felicity had ordered be built at their base, which was actually an abandoned auto mechanic shop that Felicity had turned into a base of operations. Running around the track actually helped him focus and clear his head, especially since he'd need to come up with an excuse for Felicity as to why his speed has suddenly increased, since Wally knows that while he is nowhere near as fast as Barry, he really should've enjoyed holding that title while he could, but now his speed had increased significantly beyond what it had been before he'd taken over his double's body. Luckily, he had some time before Felicity showed up from her office to come up with an excuse. What he didn't know was that he wouldn't need to.
Felicity Smoak was currently sitting in her office, trying to figure out how she was going to explain where she was devoting the funds she'd transferred to pay for her and Wally's activities, since honestly, it was a huge price tag and unfortunately, she could not keep the transfers secret for much longer, since somehow, her board had started to notice.
Anyways, she was pulled from her thoughts when she heard someone enter her office.
"Excuse me, but who are you and how did you get in here?" Felicity asked the black man who didn't even have the decency to dress in a suit, since he was wearing jeans, a red shirt and a beige leather jacket.
"I'm the solution to your problems Ms. Smoak." the man said.
"What are you talking about?" Felicity asked right as the man approached her and before she could call security, he placed his hand on her temple and gave her a killer headache and a new set of memories as she remembered the old world. A world where she'd been married to Oliver Queen, though honestly, she didn't feel that attraction to him anymore. Especially since she remembered seeing on the news that he was still with Laurel when they'd been rescued from Lian Yu.
"J'onn." Felicity said as looked at him.
"Welcome back Ms. Smoak." J'onn said.
"Wow, this is a lot to process, considering the fact that my former husband is now in Star City and is dating someone else." Felicity said.
"They also have a daughter together." J'onn said.
"How do you know that?" Felicity asked as her heart broke at that, not because she was sorry that her husband was dating someone else, but her heart sobbed for the daughter she'd had who no longer existed. Still, she knew she'd need to talk to Oliver at some point. But not now.
"Anyways, while I'm here, I thought I'd help you out in another way." J'onn said.
"Like what?" Felicity asked.
"Like providing a cover for what the funds you're no doubt using to fund yours and Mr. West's operations by disguising it as a top secret government contract with the DEO." J'onn said.
"That would be perfect." Felicity said, happy to have a saving grace.
