The surprise passenger

Okay I saw my one Taxi story the one that has Latka involved is not doing too well and my other two Taxi stories that have Alex involved is doing better and I am shocked by that so I am putting this one up and only going to do a new chapter once a month for that story, and this one will be updated every week like on Friday's

Alex Reiger was out and about on a typical day in New York City and he was hanging out with the other cabbies just talking cause he didn't feel like going back to the garage cause he wanted to make some more money cause it was a slow day for fares cause everyone was at work and no one needed a ride anywhere at the moment and he was going to head back to the garage to out with his friends and he was going to play cards cause there wasn't anything else to do besides talk to the other cabbies about life at their garage and life in general as well

"Louie I am coming back to the garage cause it's slow out here" Alex says a she radios back to his dispatcher right now

"Drive around for a while longer Reiger there might be business cause I probably guess you only made a couple of bucks" Louie tells him cause Alex was his best booker and he brought in hundreds of dollars a week thousand on a good week and this was not one of his good days this was one of his off days

Alex was going to drive along for a while and just park at random places or he could just drive along and wait for someone to hail a taxi

"I hope business picks up" he says as he gets back in his cab right now cause he was not going to go and gamble cause he gave that up for good and he was not going to turn back now

Once Alex gets back in his cab he heard crying coming from the backseat and he looks back and he sees a baby back there on the seat and it was not happy at all

"It's okay little one" he says as he picks the baby up to hold it cause it was not happy

Alex sees that whoever left the baby there left a bag full of supplies that was needed for the child

"I think you need changed I'll change you and we will see if you are a boy or a girl" he says as he lays the baby down to change it

Alex was gentle with the baby girl and he had her changed in no time

"There we go sweetheart I think I'll feed you cause you must be hungry" he says as he was looking for a bottle and he found one ready to go, so he fed her

"There we go sugar" he says as he feeds the tiny child

Once the baby was fed and changed again Alex puts her up with him and he had to get her a car seat so she was safe until he took her back to the garage

(Garage)

"Hey guys" Alex says as he came in with the baby in her car seat and his fares that he had collected

"Alex where the baby come from?" Elaine asks him

"I found her in my cab someone just abandoned her just like that" Alex says as he was going to hold her cause she started to stir in her car seat a little bit and started to cry

Alex picks her up and he holds her

"Alex where did she get the bruise marks from?" Tony asks him cause he saw the bruises that she had on her backside

Alex realized she was abused and he had to get her checked out like now

"Alex I'll drive you and her to the hospital" Tony tells him

Alex gets in and the group heads for the hospital to get her checked out

(Hospital)

"I know little one I know it hurts" Alex says as he tries to calm the baby down cause she was not happy of where she was being touched at

Alex gets her registered and they head back right away

(Later)

Alex comes out cause he was not allowed back there with her cause deep down he really wanted to be with her, but he couldn't

"Alex it's going to be okay she is getting the best care and once the doctor check her over you can see her again" Elaine tells him

"I just wish I could be there with her holding her, rocking her letting her know it's going to be okay, and she is not going to be going to any orphanages either" Alex says as he looks to where the baby was

Soon the nurse comes out to get Alex cause the baby was not going to stop crying unless he held her in his arms

(Much later)

The baby was released to Alex and he was happy she wasn't seriously injured or had anything really wrong with her either she had to haver certain parts of her body gauzed up cause of the bruises that she had on her body hurt her too bad, and Alex had to be gentle with her for a few days and he could do that with her

"I am taking you home to where you are going to be until I can figure out what I am going to do with you" he says cause he had to weigh all of the opinions here with her and he wanted her to be warm and be safe as well while she recovered from her battle scars that she had

The baby girl cooed up at him as they were leaving the hospital to go back to his place for the time being

"Come on little one let's take you home" Alex says as-he carried her out of the hospital and to the waiting cab
