Darkness.

All the time darkness embraced him.

He didn't wanted that darkness anymore.

It felt uncomfortable.

It felt small.

He didn't wanted to be here anymore.

.

Light.

There was sudden new situation.

He wanted it.

He needed it.

He wanted out of here.

.

His lungs felt different.

It was scaring him.

What was happening?

Why was that happening?!

Make it stop!

Everything was blurry!

Beep, beep, beep.

.

This strange sound frightened him.

Where was warmness?

Why there was so cold in here?!

He wanted back to darkness!

Beep, beep, beep.

.

Something was holding him.

Then, with sudden move, he felt warm.

Warm was by his side.

It felt cozy.

He knew that warmness.

It had scent of his darkness.

He wanted remain by it.

Beep, beep, beep.

.

There was touch by his head.

It was lovely.

Delicate.

Gently.

He needed that touch.

He wanted to stay here.

There was voice.

He wanted to stay by it.

Beep, beep, be--

.

What was that?

Why was that sound so loud?!

Where was warmness?!

Why it was suddenly cold?!

Give him back warm!

.

He felt yet another grip.

But, it wasn't his warm.

He felt it wasn't his warm.

It didn't felt like it.

Give him back warm!

.

He was placed in some strange warmness.

He felt cozy.

Yet, it wasn't familiar.

He felt comfortable.

Yet, it wasn't his.

He felt tired.

His eyes closed.

.

This was supposed to be the best of his life. His wife was about to give him son! He waited impatiently, walking around corridor like on fire. Once in right, once I left. Repeat. Could somebody be so surprised about it? He was about to become father! He bitted his fingers, he looked at those doors, waiting for anything! Waiting for gratulations, waiting for doctor, waiting for great news!

Eventually for his calmness the door opened and he rapidly rushed through them. He saw his beautiful wife, sweat was streaming hers face. She was breathing heavily, smiled at him tiredness. He smiled to her back, tears formed in his eyes. She was his everything. His song. His world. And now she gave her another reason to love her even more. "Hello, love. How is our new mommy feeling?"

Beep, beep, beep.

"Wonderful. When they would bring him? They took him just when everything ended. I didn't saw him yet." She asked, but it was that weakly he was sure no one besides him heard that. He looked around, where his son even was?

"Excuse me? Where is my little boy?" When he saw occasion, asked first upcoming doctor. He done it rather harshly, but he was just worried. Why it took so long?! His wife waited for hers son!

Beep, beep, beep.

"In a minute, sir. You must been warned about his situation, right?"

"We know he would be born without leg. Yet, it didn't gave you right to keep him away from mother!"

"I understand yours distress, even so it's important to check for any other diseases." Doctor immediately turned away, went in way where someone was calling for him. Great, whatever.

He looked at surrounding. There was much of nurses and doctors, despite of it none of them was now helping his wife! It was theirs work to take care of theirs patients, why they didn't now! He walked towards, now worried, woman laying at bed which was now wet from hers sweat. He held hers hand, she at touch tightened grip. "Where is he honey? Is something wrong?"

"Don't worry dear. He would be here in any moment now." He stroked her forehead within his thumb of another hand, just so she remained calm.

"I'm just scared. Maybe, maybe there is-"

Then, there was sound of cry. "There is he! Henry Haddock." He turned to see doctor which held a little figure. Tiny figure. His son. Doctor went into theirs direction. He let him pass by, as his target was his wife first. As he looked at her, she looked so delighted. She looked so blessed. She looked so happy. "Take good care of him, miss Haddock."

Beep, beep, beep.

She didn't registered his voice, as hers full attention was on little infant by hers chest. Hers little happiness. She held him with hers arms, tears streaming hers cheeks. She looked in direction of hers husband, looking at her proudly. She placed a soft kiss at hers son forehead and immediately he remained calm, like he knew her. It felt so magical. She didn't wanted that moment to end. "My sweet boy. My little Hiccup."

Father went closer, wanting to check his son. He was tiny thing. Really tiny. His wife always was skinny, rather average height, yet there was his little indeed son. He was confused by it, he wasn't never small. Everyone kept telling him, how big man he was. He must took it after his mother. Even slightly thought about hers cheating on him didn't swiftly went over his head. She was too perfect for that.

Beep, beep, be--

Immediately woman's body went limp. Hers eyes remained opened, even for sudden stop of hers heartbeat. Boy by hers chest cried. Tears formed in his eyes. His wife, his love, his dear. What was happening. Was she dying? There was shouting around him of doctors trying to safe his wife. His son was taken somewhere else, but he didn't cared. What was most important was her, and he is about to lose her. He could hear someone calling for him. He remained still. He won't leave her now.

His whole world shattered, Vanessa Haddock was dead. Her death was caused unexpectedly, as doctors exclaimed, by tiredness of labour. Henry was going to be born much later. He was preterm infant. There wasn't nothing that caused his sudden earlier reborn. And that was reason of his sudden hate towards his own child.

He didn't get any gratulations from his friends about him, only condolences. There wasn't any celebration, just funeral. As time went, he grow only more hateful against innocent child. Yet, he didn't felt he was such innocent at all. Labour started unexpectedly, nobody knew why. For some reason, while looking at child, now cozily sleeping onto one of hospitals little beds for such kids, his thoughts were screaming one thing. It was his fault. He killed his own mother!

He came closer to it, looking as a predator over it's victim. He lost everything. And with what he remained? With it?! With little, useless, weak boy. Even so, he should have even slightly feeling of Vanessa's blood, he didn't felt it. He wanted to get rid of him. He wanted to never see him again. Just as he never even existed.
