Aincrad falls into the world of Arkkinghts
The sounds of explosions could be heard as monsters fought off all of the soldiers flooding into Aincrad.
"Warning infection spreading" Aincrads A. I said to everyone through their help screens, before opening what looked like a hole on the side of the castle.
The players watched as the castle began to release what looked like giant versions of the magic crystals the players used in the game.
Kirito and Asuna gasped as they were forcefully teleported away from the fight, they could hear all of the other players being teleported into the town of beginnings.
They were about to call their friends to see if they were alright, but before they could they began to see the images of the same soldiers that had attacked them killing everyone that they found.
"Would you like to save the civilians?"
"Please note that by doing so you could bring in some people who side with those attacking them." Aincrad said to them before showing them a yes and no option on their screen.
Kirito and Asuna looked around they noticed that the A. I had asked everyone the same question
Kirito and Asuna pressed the option in front of them but neither of them knew what the other had chosen and the A. I began to count the votes.
"Processing, teleporting all noncombatants to Aincrad" the A. I said before people began to appear inside the town.
Unfortunately, there were so many people that the town of beginnings couldn't fir all of the people so the majority of them were teleported outside of it.
The confused frightened people looked around before finding themselves looking at the players that looked at them with the same amount of fear and confusion.
"Due to the threat in the immediate area, Aincrad will now move." the A. I said before the ground began to shake and the people outside of the town of beginnings screamed in fear.
The players watched as the floor bosses left their areas and headed towards the entrance of the castle.
"Kirito I need to go, Heathcliff and the rest of the guild leaders are trying to see how to handle everything." Asuna said to Kirito before hugging him and running in the direction of her guild.
"This is a message from the guild leaders, to all of the players."
"Aincrad had increased the production of healing crystals so... we brought these people here and that means start healing the injured" a message appeared in front of everyone who just let out a moan.
"Everyone that's hurt form a line in front of someone wearing armor!" Someone screamed and hesitantly the people began to do as they were told and Kirito found himself looking at a boy that had what looked like bear ears on his head.
Kirito didn't say anything and neither did anyone else, this was a game after all so things like these weren't anything new, even if Aincrad didn't have them before.
To him and everyone else, the fact that furies existed now meant that someone had messed with the game they were trapped in.
The boy had cuts and bruises all over his arms and face so he just gave him a healing crystal, the boy just looked at the crystal before it shattered.
"It itches," said the boy before he noticed that his hands had completely healed.
"Okay, this is going to take too long, everyone the moment I give you a crystal move so the person behind you gets theirs." Kirito said to everyone that could hear him.
As minutes turned to hours, he began to notice that there were people with rabbit ears and lizard tails, hell he had even seen a woman with wings.
Yet what struck him the most were the people that seemed to have crystals growing out of their bodies.
When he and the rest of the players were finally done handing the crystals out they found themselves looking at something they couldn't understand.
They had landed near a city and it was the people of that city that they had rescued, the people had been nice to them when they first made contact and now the entire place was burning.
"It's gone!" a woman shouted
"Dad look!" a little boy said to his dad, but Kirito didn't care about what they were talking about, he was too tired to care.
The voices of the shocked people began to fill both the inside and outside of the town of beginnings, but honestly, all of the players didn't care, after all, all of these people were just N. and this was just another event.
Unbeknownst to the players however someone amongst them had managed to send both videos and pictures of what was happening inside the castle to Rhodes Island.
As the operators opened the messages sent to them they found themselves looking at something that was previously thought impossible.
Whatever the crystals the people wearing knight armor had given both the infected and uninfected were, they somehow either regressed the infection or completely cured it.
Seeing this Rhodes Island immediately decided to contact Aincrad as soon as possible before anyone could do anything to the castle or the crystals.
Both the videos and the pictures had been intercepted by another group who didn't like what they were seeing.
