I do not own Spongebob, but I do own the OCs in this story. I hope you guys enjoy it.

It was a plentiful day for both Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star. Over a few years ago, Spongebob persuaded his best friend to return to school to gain some more knowledge, and surprisingly, Patrick has excelled dramatically in his academics, impressing perhaps every one of his family and friends, especially his own parents.

He works for an advertising company now and is considered not be to be an idiot anymore ever since he graduated from community college and finished his internship. Mr. Krabs had retired and lent ownership of the legendary Krusty Krab to Spongebob himself, who decided to promote his one-sided friend Squidward as manager, which the latter greatly appreciated him for, which ended the one-sided friendship between them. Now, Squidward even dared himself to refer to Spongebob as his "pal".

Business at the Krusty Krab went booming. Sandy Cheeks became a famous technologist and scientist who managed to create a potion that allowed her lungs to take oxygen from water, so she didn't need her spacesuit and helmet anymore.

It seemed as if life for everyone has been going great. Until one day...a very dreaded day in the Bikini Bottom.

It was a hot and humid day in the aquatic environment of Bikini Bottom. Spongebob grabbed his suitcase and walked out of his office as Squidward was just about ready for closing.

"You know, Spongebob. Normally I would celebrate quitting time, but I am disappointed that this day went too fast. I can't believe I'm starting to enjoy work now." Squidward commented as he walked with Spongebob towards the front door.

"I think it is because your job doesn't involve standing in that filthy, urchin-infested boat for 9 hours a day," Spongebob said, smirking at his neighbor.

Squidward laughed. "True that. Anyway, I'm heading home." He said, walking out the door, but then some shady figure from across the street, standing next to the Chum Bucket, was staring directly at the boys. Squidward grew intimidated for just a moment before he asked Spongebob. "Um, do you notice that same girl that has been standing there for the past few hours?

Spongebob looked up from his phone and squinted his eyes, trying to get a better view of the female fish. "Yeah, she looks very familiar."

Meanwhile, Patrick was driving from work to go pick up his best friend as the two offered Sandy to settle her stuff into her new apartment.

He just got off the phone with his client as he pulled his boat next to the Krusty Krab. Spongebob hopped onto the passenger seat and smiled at his best friend, patting his back. "Patrick, my man! Thanks for the lift."

Patrick blew a little raspberry. "It was nothing." Before he could drive off, his phone rang. He groaned. "My client, again?" He answered the phone. Spongebob tapped his foot impatiently as he watched his best friend try to engage in conversation with the person who was on the other line. His facial expression went from that of annoyance to concern when he noticed Patrick's face reverted to that of pure horror.

"HOW DID YOU GET THIS NUMBER?!" Patrick hollered. "DON'T YOU EVER CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN!"

He then hung up and threw his phone in the open glove compartment in front of Spongebob, startling the yellow sponge.

Spongebob noticed Patrick's face was a bright shade of red and he was shaking. "Patrick, are you..." He dared to speak.

Patrick shook his head. "I'm fine Spongebob...it's just..."

Spongebob put his hand on his friend's shoulder and shook his head. "It's ok, I know. It's Wendy, isn't it?"

Patrick sighed. "That was one of the many flaws I face through community college. She still won't leave me alone."

"Haven't you called the cops?" Spongebob asked with an interested tone.

"They told me they couldn't do anything about it, especially since she only made verbal threats that they deemed to be 'not so serious." Patrick scoffed as he started his boat. "A bunch of idiots..."

"Like you weren't one," Spongebob smirked, rolling his eyes. Patrick gave him a playful shove that got the yellow creature to chuckle. "I'm kidding, but who knows? What is she is all talk and no game?"

Patrick chuckled as he and Spongebob drove off. "I guess so."

Unknown to the duo, a strange creature was watching them from behind the Chum Bucket as the sunset. She snickered to herself before walking over to her boat, which was parked in the empty, miserable lot of the failed establishment. She hopped in and drove in pursuit of the one Patrick Star.

The two close friends were having a random conversation about body spray when they stopped by the apartment complex Sandy was moving in. Sandy was outside in the parking lot, just beside her moving truck when she spotted her boyfriend and his closest friend getting out of Patrick's boat.

Sandy squealed in joy as she ran towards Spongebob and kissed his lips, causing Patrick to roll his eyes and gag.

"I can't thank you guys enough for doing this for me," Sandy said with gratitude.

"Anything for you, baby," Spongebob spoke with a flirtatious grin before giving his longtime friend and girlfriend a quick peck on the cheek. Sandy giggled before the three went to work, carrying the boxes from the trunk and into Sandy's apartment.

The boxes seemed to be much lighter than the boys have anticipated, but eventually, they had to haul all of Sandy's inventions into the apartment, which was proved to be easier said than done. Once they managed to get everything into the apartment, they decided to relax in the kitchen just for a bit.

As Sandy readied the lemonade for her friends, she noticed Patrick's rather overwhelmed expression and she grew worried. "Hey Pat, you alright?"

Patrick looked up as he sat at the table and spoke. "Yeah...I'm alright."

"You sound distressed?" Sandy quipped, handing a glass to Patrick. Patrick bit his lip and refused to answer, but then Spongebob cut in.

"He received a call from...her," Spongebob spoke as if saying the aforementioned person's name would be a curse.

Sandy's eyes widened as she knew who 'her' was. She knew Patrick have had issues with his ex-girlfriend, and she knew just how insane Wendy could be.

"It's been a while since she has shown her face," Sandy pointed. "There is no way she could just pop in unannounced."

Patrick smiled. Perhaps Sandy was right. Maybe Spongebob had a point when he said that his ex was all talk and no game.

After the quick break, Patrick decided to retrieve his JBL speaker so that the trio could listen to some tunes while they unpack Sandy's belonging. He exited the apartment and towards his car. He pulled out his keys but then dropped them in horror once he reached his car. He found his entire boat was spray-painted with black paint, the words spelling out: PATRICK STAR! I WILL GET YOU SOMEDAY!

Should I continue? What do you guys think? Please review.
