Currently, Izuku is now walking home from school. His appearance was disheveled, and his walking was shaky. If one looked closer, bruising and burn marks could be seen littering his shoulders, chest, and chin. His clothes looked closer to rags than a pristine uniform. Izuku also carried a defeated demeanor, his eyes show no sign of happiness. He truly looked like he was at rock bottom.
When he arrived near home, he took the back entrance inside and sneaked past his mom. He didn't want Inko to see the damage his classmates cause on a regular basis. Instead, he put on a sweatshirt and pants and washed off the burn marks enough where they weren't visible.
A ten year old Izuku now currently is suffering in the hell that is quirklessness. The quirkless are treated less than human beings and are deemed useless by society, even above those who have seemingly useless quirks. But, Izuku still held on to his dream of becoming a hero, but it wasn't supported by much.
After freshening up, he walked downstairs, the floorboards creaking and alerting Inko to his presence.
"Oh hello Izuku! I didn't hear you come in. How was school today?" She greeted while currently cleaning the floor.
"Oh it was fine mom. The same day as yesterday it feels like. Nothing interesting happened." He replied. Oh, he wish nothing happened, but his school days didn't treat him with such good luck.
"Ok, I'll have dinner ready in an hour." She went right back to cleaning as Izuku headed back up to his room. After 20 minutes or so of resting on his bed, he heard a crash at the front door. A few seconds later, a scream echoed in the house.
Izuku ran downstairs, only to see a group of masked men pointing a gun at Inko. She had tears in her eyes and a scared look on her face. The other masked men noticed Izuku and grabbed his mouth before he could scream.
"Shut up kid! Unless you want a bullet right up that mouth of yours." Izuku swiftly shut up after that. Then, Inko did a foolish thing. She tried to move to get Izuku.
The robber with the gun, thinking she was about to fight back, pulled the trigger in a haste. A boom rang out as Inko's body went limp. Izuku screamed, as the emotion surged out like a floodgate.
The other robbers panicked and left immediately, not wanting to get caught. At that moment, Izuku felt a burning sensation in his eyes. His green eyes began to shift into a red color, with what looked like a shuriken forming in his eyes.
Izuku didn't notice as he called 911. When the police arrived, Izuku was seen crying over his mother's body, the officers cringing at the horrible sight. They knew how much this killed a person's soul to see a family member die.
Izuku was taken in for questioning, but they have no leads whatsoever about the perpetrators. Izuku was then put in an orphanage. Now we cut to Izuku once more.
It was three months since the incident, and Izuku's mental state didn't improve. He noticed his eyes soon after and they were registers as the quirk "Enhanced Vision" The only known ability was crystal clear eye sight and a permanent mutation in his eyes that took the shape of a 3 pointed shuriken.
Izuku heard a knock on his door around noon. Today, he was mostly just reading books and doing light exercises.
"Come in!" He yelled to whoever was outside.
The owner of the orphanage came in with another man dressed in a nice shirt with jeans.
"Izuku, this is Mr. Nomura, and he has requested to adopt you. You can pack your things and sign this form to solidify it."
The man gave an odd smile at Izuku, it seemed very forced.
Izuku complied with the instructions and pretty soon, he found himself in a modest one story house. It was a cozy place with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a dinning area.
"Listen, you're in my house so don't mess any shit up or your ass will regret it. Go set your stuff down in the room down there and come back at 6 for food."
Mr. Nomura walked away, pulling out a cigarette and closing the door to his room. Izuku over the next few weeks felt very alone. Izuku learned that Mr. Nomura was an abusive parent, physically and verbally. When Izuku messed up or didn't listen, he would get scolded and slapped, or punched depending on the situation. One day, however, he truly messed up.
"Shit! Shit!" Izuku said frantically. He picked up swearing from Mr. Nomura. Currently, Izuku had made the mistake of putting an item in the microwave that doesn't belong in the microwave on accident. Then ensued a mini explosion that ruined the microwave and scorched the walls.
Mr. Nomura came running out, a furious look on his face. "You insignificant little shit! What did you just do! Useless!"
He reached for the mantle, grabbing a baseball bat that rested against it. Izuku had a terrified look in his eyes as he slowly walked forward. Izuku put his hands in a pleading gesture, but Mr. Nomura had lost it. He swung the bat at his hands, a loud crack resounding from the room.
Izuku rolled on the ground in tears, his wrists both broken. "Get up and take it like a non-pathetic human being you little leech!" Mr. Nomura lined up another one and nailed Izuku's back, another crack sounding. Just as he was aiming a third strike, Izuku began to spiral until he was no longer visible.
With Izuku, he now found himself in a dark place with blue-ish pillars. There was no sound other than his breathing. Izuku, seeing the new scenery compiled with the pain passed out.
He woke up a day later, groaning as he sat up. He immediately laid back down, the sharp pain from his cracked spine and broken wrists basically disabling him. Tears begin to flow from his eyes as he breaks down.
"I'll never go back there! Once I get out of her, I-I'll run away to somewhere he can't find me! Just, please, I don't want to go back." His voice began to go hoarse from the lack of water. That's when the situation hit him.
"W-Where am I!?" He yelled. Not even an echo replying back to him. He slowly lifted his head to look around, but all he found was darkness.
"Help! Please! Help Me!" He yelled into the abyss before him, nothing responding back. He tried to imagine himself back in the real world, but nothing happened. His stomach growled as now he realized.
"Please don't tell me I will starve to death. Or die from thirst. Please." He begged to whatever god could hear him. Why couldn't someone help him. If someone saved him from Mr. Nomura, he would not be here. Why couldn't all the heroes save him. They didn't save his mother, and now they left him to die.
Why couldn't he be the one being saved.
And so, for the next 3 days, Izuku remained in the Kamui. He came up with the name from a book he read back in the orphanage about ancient mythology. In specifically Ainu mythology, there was a supernatural being by the name of Kamuy. The legend of where he sent down a bird spirit and changed the world from an unlivable wasteland into this reminded him of his current predicament, just the other way around.
Izuku's condition is currently dire. His suffers from extreme dehydration and hunger, in which he may die in the next day. His injuries haven't gotten any better, and he currently lays unmoving on the floor. His eyes are open, slowly blinking. He barely looks alive.
He also began to do some thinking while inside. He made up his mind that he didn't want to live with Mr. Nomura anymore and that he would run away. He was thinking maybe to live on the street, like a lot of other people do. He knew that he didn't have many options.
He also slowly lost his will to become a hero, saddened by the realization on how little they could help him. He still wanted to help people, but maybe there was another way. But he didn't think he would be making it out alive.
He felt his vision going dark, and all he began to wish for was a hospital and and food. That's when a familiar spiral began to envelop him as he was whisked away in front of the main hospital. Just as he was about to hit the ground, his vision went black.
In the POV of the hospital workers.
It was a pretty empty day today, luckily. There haven't been any major or serious cases today and current patients have been recovering well. Well, that's at least what the receptionist knows. She is a lady with blonde hair and thick rimmed glasses. She is currently positioned overlooking the doorway, helping someone fill out a form for an appointment. That's when an odd sight took place right in the entrance.
A spiral manifested out of no where and a boy dropped onto the ground. She immediately called for a medical team and ran over to him. The boy looked like skin and bones, with severe dehydration and hunger. He also seemed to have extensive injuries. A team arrived and carted him to the emergency room.
Treatment began as the doctors began to feed his body nourishment. After he was at a sustainable level, they began to repair and mend his wrists. A doctor with a bone readjustment quirk fixed his wrists and spine in no time at all. It looked like Izuku would live to see the sun rise once again.
...
Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed! Leave any feedback or ideas you want. I won't be doing a ship for reasons you'll see later on, so don't even bother. Also, a note. Izuku doesn't have the sharingan, just the Kamui. His Kamui works the same as in the show, obviously not requiring chakra due to Izuku not having any. The next chapter will contain more information.
