It all happened so quickly that Tilly didn't even have time to process what was happening before she was literally being pulled through the fogged glass of the bathroom mirror.
"Oh, don't pout." Her own voice answered at Tilly's look of honest shock as she tried to push her way back out of the glass into the small water closet, she shared with Rogers. "Seriously stop pouting." The now much more solid version of herself argues shutting off the water Tilly had been using to brush her teeth before she started her day.
This had to be either a very real-seeming dream or a very bad day nightmare unfolding before Tilly's puzzled eyes as she continued trying to beat her way back out of the mirror much to her copy's amusement as well as an annoyance if the new twitch to her jaw was any clue.
"A little trick I learned from my time with the Swamp Witch in a land known as 'the Nine Kingdoms' strange name for a realm, isn't it?" the other Tilly but not Tilly chuckles to herself curiously moving from the apartment's bathroom to wonder the rest of the place with obvious interest. "and for the last time quit pouting. I'll only be taking your place for the day not forever."
Before Tilly could find her voice enough to answer back even with a broken 'As if that were in any way comforting.' as her more solid self greedily runs her hands along several spines of Roger's small library on one of the few bookshelves dotting the apartment, she felt her stomach or more precisely her heart drop into her toes at a tensive knocking now coming from the apartment front door.
"No, No, No, No, No. Please, please No." Tilly chanted under her breath at the sound. "Dammit Targo, The one time you could have come late, or Roni called you in unexpectedly." She lamented the same moment her darker clothed self gives a rather wicked smile her eyes seeming to glow in intrigued glee as her head swiveled towards the sound.
"Aw we have guests. How lovely." She murmurs as if to herself as she self-consciously soothes a hand down her darker-toned bar maiden style blouse and black colored long skirt.
Tilly and Margot were planning to spend the day together considering the same time the budding couple could arrange a shared free day between their busy schedules a street carnival had set up downtown.
A whole day of food trucks selling tasty eats and treats, craft booths, and various cheesy and obviously rigged gaming stalls. Tilly had been looking forward to the event all week.
"Don't you dare." Tilly growled not even knowing if the other her could hear her. "Stay away from her, witch." She adds in vain considering at the moment she could only watch from various reflections around the apartment as the skirt clade version of herself crossed to the door at another of Margot's nervous knocks.
"I might have magic that's obviously true but I do still prefer to be called by my name thank you very much." Her non-mirror self-snarls glaring daggers into the powered-off television casting Tilly's refection after giving a timid "Just a moment." Call towards the still waiting-woman standing out in the hallway.
"And that would be?" Tilly demands just as hotly.
"Alice, Alice Jones." But her smile was already making Tilly's blood go cold as she adds in a whisper "but others I've met in recent years tend to call me by a new moniker. 'The Dark One'
