Ben tennyson wasn't the same after the loss of feedback, he was quiet, always kept to himself and hardly spoke to anyone other than his grandpa and cousin.
Ben was silently walking to the rust bucket 2, the original had broken down and grandpa max managed to somehow find another one in a week. Sadly it's engine died a year back and max decided to just stay in the broken rv.
Ben knocks on the door and waits a minute before frowning and picking up a spare key under a fake rock, how original. He opens the door and sees clothing everywhere like a struggle happened "what the..."
He suddenly hears a noise and sees the bathroom light was on, he walks up to it and opens it slowly to find nothing. Then suddenly a weird alien shows itself and Ben jumps back and slams his hand onto his wrist "oh right..."
He looks at the creature and hits it in the eye stunning it for a moment as he jumps back more and hides, the creature sees a shoe and walks up before Ben taps its back then slams a fire extinguisher into it making it fly through the window of the rustbucket 2, Ben silently walks up to the window and sees the creature is unconscious and he sighs in relief, he then flips some switches to reveal a secret compartment in the rv.
Ben sees a disk like item and taps it and grandpa max appears "Ben, I left this recording in a place I knew only you could find it, I'm in a bit of a situation but it's nothing I can't handle, there's renewed alien activity on earth and I'm investigating, oh and don't worry about the omnitrix I have it and it's completely safe they'll never get their hands on it, say hello to your cousin Gwen for me, Max out"
Ben frowns knowing for a fact max doesn't have the watch and he bikes home as fast as he could and sprints into his room surprising his parents as lately he hasn't been to active
He rushes into his closet and throws stuff everywhere until he finds the watch and he shakes as he picks it up, for the past four years the omnitrix has haunted him, when he had it he thought it was amazing until he found out one day what that power means to people close to him
He puts it in his pocket and sprinted to a gym knowing Gwen had karate practice today. He walks in and watches her and another student fight with her winning and he smiles softly, after the wildvine incident on xenon he was worried he'd lose her one day (Before you ask they do NOT have romantic feelings for each other)
She smiles as she sees Ben and runs up and hugs him "Ben! It's been awhile since I last saw you, how are you doing?" She said with a smile and Ben frowns a bit and lifts up the omnitrix and she goes wide eyed "why do you have that? What happened?" She asked concerned
Ben frowns and shows her the holo viewer and she frowns "you think he's lying about it not being a concern?" She asks as he nods slowly and she frowns more "are you sure you want to do this? Once it's on I doubt we can get azmith to take it off again"
He nods slowly and opens it and shakes as it was about on until a door slammed open "The omnitrix ain't yours! Give it up!" Ben and Gwen go wide eyed and run for an exit just to find out it's locked as they get pinned as as they move the man fires a laser at them and removes a mask showing he's a fish like alien "give me the omnitrix now"
Gwen frowns and suddenly walks up pink glowing platforms and looks down at him "yeah, not gonna happen" she then grabs him with the 'magic' and restrains his arms "who are you and what do you want with the omnitrix?"
He frowns "I'm a duly deputized agent of the plumbers, an intergalactic law enforcement agency" he says as Gwen goes wide eyed "a plumber? Like our grandpa max once was?"
He frowns "wait max? Like as in max tennyson?" He asks as they nod and he blinks "so you're the legendary Ben tennyson?" He says pointing to Ben who in response blushes faintly not knowing he was classified as legendary in the plumbers
He frowns "I thought you were some kid who snatched the omnitrix from the rustbucket, max and I were working on the case before he went missing"
Gwen frowns "we are looking for him" she says as the fish thinks "why don't you put me down and we can look for him together" he asks as Gwen thinks for a moment before letting him go and Ben frowns looking at the omnitrix and he slowly puts it on as it locks onto his wrist confirming there was no turning back
Magister looks "I have a tip of a place me and max we're gonna investigate before he disappeared, have any aliens that'll help take us there?"
Ben frowns and presses the green button the the omnitrix showing icons of the now 16 aliens he gained and he selects a insect looking one and slams it down and he transforms into STINKFLY the only alien he has that can fly, minus heatblast but that one isn't built for his passengers
Gwen immediately plugs her nose "oh jeez I forgot how badly he smelled!" Stinkfly just shrugs and they get on his back and they slowly fly to the area since stinkfly doesn't do to well with people but it's manageable
They land and the omnitrix times out as the dial was now red and Ben sighs as they wait
