I do not own My Hero Academia. Just my oc's and plotlines.
Mirai looks like Ino from Naruto.
Kaito looks like Kite from Yu Gi Oh Zexal.
U.A. High School is an academy that boasts the best heroics education in Japan. It sits atop a forested hill that overlooks Musutafu. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K. Only U.A. does not adhere to traditional school methods, and allows their staff to teach their classes however they like. U.A. is known for having trained and produced some of the best heroes in Japan, including All Might, the number one hero, Endeavor the number two hero, and Best Jeanist the number three hero.
The U.A. High School student uniform consists of a long-sleeve, button-up white shirt, a gray jacket with blue-green stripes, and a red tie. The girls uniform includes a dark blue-green pleated skirt, and a small, golden button on their ties. Each department of learning within the High School has a different orientation of buttons on the shoulders of the uniform jacket; the Hero course having one button on each shoulder.
Mirai straightened her jacket as she walked down the hallways of U.A. alongside her classmates. Her long pale blonde hair was tied back in a large and high ponytail that seemed to continue to flow down her back. Those crystal blue eyes, lighter than her older brothers, seemed to shine within the sunlight coming through the windows.
"Mirai, how's your strange brother?" Pony Tsunotori, a female from the United States asked in Japanese. She is a rather short girl with a round face and a short equine muzzle, her face framed by thick, wavy blonde hair which reaches halfway down her back, some shorter bangs hanging down her forehead. Her eyes are large and round, Prussian blue in color, and she has a pair of tall, lyre-shaped pale tan horns on her head for her quirk Horn Canon. Her calves are notably rounded, shaped similarly to those of a horse, and she has brown hooves for feet, and a short horse tail poking out from the end of her tailbone
Mirai turned her head away from Kendo so she could look at Pony. "Mirio's fine," the female explained to the shorter teenage girl. Mirai was not surprise in the slightest that many of the females within her class thought Mirio could be rather strange and weird at times. "He keeps on thinking his jokes are killer."
"How horrible?" Ibara Shiozaki spoke, her pale white hands already crossing over her heart in a prayer. Only her reaction was to be expected because Ibara is a very modest and courteous person who makes her humility clear due to being a highly religious inclination, due to her talking about heaven and divine. "To think his jokes are killer is heartbreaking."
Mirai looked toward the window. "It's an expression, Ibara."
Yui Kodai gave a small nod, but didn't say anything because she was always the silent and quiet one of the females with Class 1-B. Her shoulder-length, bob-shaped hair, side-swept to her right with some shorter strands hanging above her eyes. She has fair skin, an athletic build, cerulean eyes, and she's usually seen wearing a neutral expression on her face.
"But it's still such horrible phrasing," Ibara explained, thorn-covered vines for hair were moving from side-to-side with each step the female took down the hallway.
Itsuka Kendo looked at the females. "Come on guys, we need to get to lunch."
"Hopefully Monoma hasn't done anything idiotic yet." Pony admits to the other females.
Neito Monoma was a boy with a rather complex personality since it differs depending on who he is addressing: he is particularly mocking, loud and sarcastic when it comes to Class 1-A. Mirai could only hope that he hasn't already started to pick a fight with anyone from Class A in the lunchroom. Only Kendo seems to have any control over the blondes' strange behavior by karate chopping him in the back of the neck.
"Sometimes he's just a magnet for trouble," Mirai answered, a small shake of her blonde hair.
Lunch Rush is a large food court with many venues for students to buy their food at low prices. There are several long tables, each with ten chairs to sit on, Chinese-themed decorations, and large double doors. The Hero Lunch Rush serves a variety of first-rate cuisine in school lunches. Judging by the way the students eat his food, it is implied that Lunch Rush is a very good cook.
Mirai wasn't all the way hungry and chose simple white rice to eat. While Yui was eating tomatoes and making a few; hmm, noises. Kano was eating the normal rice bowl with some kind of meat. Ibara kept her food simple. Pony was eating a strange looking meal that was both American and Japanese.
Mirai's blue eyes were able to catch a familiar looking male from her old middle school. Shoto Todoroki. He still had long hair, though it doesn't pass his neck, and wears bangs, parted twice so as to not obscure his vision. His hair is evenly split between two colors: white on his right side and crimson red on his left, this unusual coloring being due to his quirk or not. His heterochromia iridum, which causes his left eye's iris to appear turquoise which had a burn scar covering most of his face, while his right is a brownish dark gray. His eyes, in shape, are quite thin and reserved. Todoroki was tall for his age along with his muscles being well-built.
Only the female didn't dare leave her chair to say hello because Todoroki was never much of a talker. His Heterochromia iridium eyes always seems to hold a deep hatred within them, glaring at anyone or saying the person was in his way. Shoto took after his father Endeavor in personality it would seem. So it didn't surprise Mirai that the boy was eating cold soba all alone-staying far away from every other student by sitting near a window corner.
Mirai felt the dual color eyes lock on her blue eyes, she froze, basically looking like a deer caught in headlights, before quickly turning her head away.
"Is something wrong, Mirai?" Kendo asked, one of her hands on her spoon, blue eyes looking at the blonde female.
"No," Mirai answered, shaking her head.
Nothing was wrong. It was just Todoroki being Todoroki. But still, the boy made the female fearful.
When the U.A. Sports Festival rolls around he'll be the one to defeat. For the students in the Hero Department, the U.A. Sports Festival gives them the opportunity to display their abilities in front of Pro Heroes who might want to hire them after graduation. For the students from the General Department, this event gives them the chance to prove that they are worthy of being transferred to the Hero Departments based on the results of the U.A. Sports Festival. The reverse is also possible if Hero Department students perform subpar, students from the Support and Business Departments can also be transferred as well.
The female let out a small breath, she looked up again toward Todoroki's direction only to see another boy walking by in her line of sight. His light blue-grey eyes, pale skin and blonde hair that is curled up in a point with a dark green spiked front, also featuring dark green bangs. His skin was nothing but pure white that could be carved from marble, along with a finger-less gray glove on his right hand which seems to blend nicely with the U.A. male uniform.
"I didn't know they allowed gloves," Mirai wondered out loud, watching the boy sit down beside a green haired kid, a brown haired female, and a boy with glasses.
"Huh?" Kendo wondered.
Pony's eyes were on the blonde boy that walked by them. "Oh, that's Kaito."
Mirai turned toward the other blonde girl. "Kaito?" Nothing about the name screamed anything for the female in the slightest.
Ibara's eyes seem to glitter like jewels that sparked off the sun. "Kaito. A name meaning sea and ocean. Soar and fly. Sure a pure name."
Mirai looked at Pony with a confused look. "How do you know Kaito?"
"We went to school together in America before he moved to Japan." Pony explained to the group. "But I don't think he remembers me very much. Most of the kids didn't like him because of his quirk. They..." She paused before looking down to the ground. Pony never did see the actual bullying because she was in the other class room next door. "Basically bullied him."
"Why?"
"Because of his quirk."
"What is his quirk?" Mirai wondered, looking at the crown haired male.
"Well its-"
Then a loud alarm sounded. Causing most of the students to sit in confusion while some began to panic. Someone had made it pass the U.A. Barrier that is the gate entrance way into the school that can automatically close if a person trying to enter the premises does not have a Student ID Card or Special Entry Permission ID.
"We need to move," Kendo told the females.
The girls were already to their feet, only when Mirai looked over her shoulder she took notice of how calm Kaito seemed to be. The blonde male was being grabbed out of his seat by his green haired friend and being dragged along among the crowd.
"Why was he so calm?" Mirai wondered out loud to herself, her blue eyes went to Todoroki's direction. Only to stop and freeze once the female noticed that Shoto was gone as well. Maybe the son of Endeavor was in the crowd among the chaos going on with the students that were all heading toward the hallway to the doors.
Mirai felt herself be shoved backwards by someone, only to collide and fall over with someone behind her. Blue eyes looked down toward the person the girl landed on top of. It was a young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head and notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils, and are thin and somewhat triangular in shape, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes. They're usually half-closed, and he has very dark eye bags underneath them.
"Watch where you're going," the male shouted in her face. Spit was already flying upward at the female, landing on her cheeks as she pulled away and got off of the boy, wiping off the spit.
"Sorry," she whispered. Her blue eyes were looking away from the male before staring down at him, curious nature getting the better of the female.
The boy's uniform had two buttons which meant the Department of General Education. Students who don't make the cut for the hero department are included in this department. It boasts a top-notch education with an eclectic lineup of teachers. The department of general education supports students aiming for college and other pursuits. It is also possible for students with exceptional grades to be transferred to the hero department. Classes C, D and E.
If the purple haired boy was in the business Course, then she would have understood the temper? Only the boy wasn't and continued to sit on the floor, glaring at her with pure hate dancing within his eyes.
"What's with you hero course students always getting in my way," the male spat, temper rising.
He must have been passed over by U.A. and not allowed in the hero course. Mirai realized after a second, blue eyes staying on the male and feeling sick to her stomach. The fresh wound of being rejected from the hero course meant this purple haired kid would take his anger out on herself. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
"Whatever," the boy mumbled.
"Shinso," A brown haired female from the general studies course snaps. "Let's go."
Shinso, Mirai thought, blue eyes staying locked on his purple ones.
Shinso looked at Mirai, still seeming bittering. "Don't think you're greater than me. When the sports festival comes I'll steal a spot right out from under one of you." That was all the male said before turning and walking into the crowd with a few of his general study friends.
Mirai let out a small breath. Not even noticing that she was holding it.
U.A. was always about being number one. Every student was against their classmates in all classes. Everyone wanted to be part of The Big 3. It's widely known as the strongest three hero students in all of Japan. Thanks to Hero Work-Studies, the three of them have seasoned their skills and mastered their powerful Quirks at a young age. They are considered to be above Pro Hero levels already and are destined to become Top Pro Heroes once they graduate.
The current Big Three is her older brother Mirio Togata, her brother's friend since grad school being Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado did not rank well in their previous U.A. Sports Festival, and their strange personalities leave a strong impression on most people.
U.A. was about being number one. Mirai would either have to learn to take the number one spot or stay put at the bottom. Every U.A. student wants to be at the top. Shinso was already planning to be number one, greater than the others within the hero course. That means... She has to as well.
There is no way I'm going to lose my spot in the Hero Course to anyone.
