Prologue

3RD person POV

After twelve years of running, the DMMORPG called YGGDRASIL closed its servers. When the time of the closure arrived, the leader of the well known guild Ainz Ooal Gown, Momonga was playing, waiting for the shutdown before going to sleep. The shutdown was supposed to happen at midnight, but he soon discovered that the deadline had passed and that the game hadn't shut down. Instead, Nazarick, the tomb that his guild created and used has a home, the NPCs and himself were transported into another world where the NPCs gained a conciseness. Momonga sent his new self-aware subordinates to figure out where they were and found out that Nazarick was in an unknown land. Little did he know that he was in the Land of Puppets, once ruled by Demon Lord Clayman. Momonga renamed himself Ainz Ooal Gown and started to prepare to spread his name around the word in hope to find another YGGDRASIL player.

*Meanwhile*

The 8 Demon Lords were having a Walpurgis to decide what to do with the Land of Puppets left behind after the death of Clayman, the reason why they didn't do it earlier is because everyone had other business to attend, things 'more important' they said. But, right before a decision was made, Rimuru Tempest received a message from Ciel, his manas.

{Alert: A portal toward another dimension has opened in the Land of Puppets, this portal seems to have apport in this world a building of some sort and close itself.}

Whaaaa ? What do you mean by that?

{As I said, a portal opened and closed itself after transporting a building of some sort.}

Okay then, what is this building?

{I believed it is some sort of tomb.}

Why would a tomb appear out of Velda… I knows where?

{Master, you do not know where, therefore this assessment does not work…}

*Awkward silence*

Sooooo, back to the topic. Any suggestions for what to do ?

{I suggest you inform your fellow Demon Lords.}

*Few seconds later*

"Ahem… I received some… intriguing(?) news" said Rimuru, a little troubled.

"Care to explain?" ask Guy.

"Well, you see, this land we are talking about. Well, it seems a portal appeared and transported some kind of tomb there." he responded.

"I see, then I am sure you can handle it, as always." said the red primordial.

"Mmhm" agreed the others.

{*giggle*}

"E-Eeeh !?" exclaimed the king of Tempest.

You knew that he would do that, didn't you, Ciel !

{Answer: Unable to answer.}

hmrf, that… again, really.

*Sight* "Fine… I'll do it, but don't complain if it doesn't end up like you wished for, Guy" said the slime.

"Of course." Guy responded.

"Well then, thanks to Rimuru this meeting is now useless, so Walpurgis is adjourned, you can all go back to your occupations." said Guy while smirking at Rimuru.

"(All of this for nothing, such a waste of time)" whispered some of the Octogram's members.
