This is the 1st chapter of the crossover story. This is the third season and third and final volume of Queen's Vampire Hunter.
Now, this volume is where they have to go and find Carmilla, but they have to deal with the remaining demons that were scattered in Romania and the occultists who's trying to resurrect Dracula. Also, where Isaac makes his own demonic army and find Hector and Carmilla for their betrayal.
Also, I'm planning to add some characters from the Queen's Blade, not too much, just less so there won't be too many.
Anyway, I don't own the series of Queen's Blade or the videogame of Castlevania.
'Alucard adjusts to his lonely new life, Belmont brothers, Sypha, Luis, Drew, Leina, and Risty pay a visit to an eerie and unusual town, and Carmilla returns home with a prize.'
Bless Your Dead Little Hearts
Romania, Dracula's Castle
A month has passed since the night creatures have scattered and Dracula died. Deep into the forest, everything seems calm and there's no hint of the horror occurred. Alucard is currently at the river, catching fish with his hands with a smile on his face and enjoys his life in solitude. He then grabs two baskets, walk through the forest while finding something edible for dinner. He grabs two berries from the bush, a spring onion from the ground, but notice the flock of birds flew off as he stood up, watches the birds flying away. Alucard grabs his baskets and walk through the forest, heading to the castle.
Everything inside of the castle is a mess because of the fight between Alucard and Dracula a month ago. He went towards the winery room, which it was a mess and the wine bottles were broken as Alucard grabs one of the wine bottles, but frowned when he notice the bottle is broken. He tossed the broken bottle, grabs the other and tossed it. Alucard is going through the wine bottles while trying to find something that isn't broken, manage to find one.
He then to the kitchen to get his dinner ready by boiling water, chopping tomatoes, placing the bamboo strainer at the top of the pot, placed a fish on it and cover it with the bamboo lid. Alucard then gets the cork out and pour the white wine on the wine glass, placed the wine bottle on the table as he grabs the glass of wine, savoring the wine.
As soon as supper was ready, Alucard got the cooked fish ready along with chopped tomatoes, berries, and cooked onions. He then pulls the chair and sits, pulls it close to the table. Alucard grabs the fork and starts eating the fish, glances at the six makeshift dolls that are like the Belmont brothers, Leina, Drew, Luis, and Risty.
"What do you think, Trevor?" Alucard questions the doll, imitate as Trevor. "I think I hate everything and everybody, so I'm going to get drunk on beer that's been brewed in an old sheep's carcass, and then I'm going to stick my tiny penis in a dead dog I found in a ditch to make hate-babies or something because I am actually more stupid than mud. You are a horrible, horrible person, and many other words for horrible and terrible, because I know all the words, because I am smarter than everybody, and one day I will go back to live with my flea-bitten family in a cart, which makes me better than everyone, and you will all die in a fire. A big one."
Alucard the eats his dinner with a smirk after imitating as Sypha, grabs the wine glass. He then felt sad, missing his friends since they're adventuring Romania to find the remaining night creatures.
"Oh my God. I am losing my mind." Alucard muttered sadly, drinking the wine. "It's only been a month. I think."
Somewhere in the forest
Trevor and his group are continuing to ride through the forest while heading towards Braila and find the remaining night creatures that were scattering around in Romania.
Trevor is wearing a different attire. He wore a black jerkin, black leather armor with gold trims, an olive brown shirt collar, and a Belmont crest, black leather vambraces with gold trims and olive brown sleeve, dark olive belt, black-plated tassets, red open skirt, olive brown pants, black boots with gold trims, and a black cloak around his shoulder with red trims.
Bowen is also wearing a different attire. He kept his chainmail, but he has black leather armor with gold trims and a Belmont crest, black leather jerkin underneath, black vambraces with gold trims, olive brown pants, black boots with gold trims, and a black trenchcoat.
Luis is also wearing a different attire. He wore a white jerkin with a leather tunic and chainmail, and a Lecarde coat of arms, leather vambraces, brown pants, brown boots, and black coat around his shoulders.
Leina is wearing an armor that resembles a shield maiden. She's wearing a leather armor with a chainmail, a black shirt underneath, leather vambraces, leather belt, leather tassets, black pants, leather boots, and black cape.
Sypha kept her Speaker attire, but she lost her light blue cloak.
Risty is wearing a different attire and she tied her hair into a ponytail. She's wearing a sleeveless black shirt with leather vest, leather belt, leather vambraces, brown leather pants, and leather boots.
"I think it might actually be a nice night, for once." Sypha states.
"I hope so." Trevor agrees with a serious glare. "Your feet get so bloody cold at night."
"Don't they, though?" Sypha rhetorically questions with a smirk.
"It's supernatural." Trevor told her. "Like death, rubbing up and down my leg."
"Even I don't want to be near them, and they're attached to me." Sypha states.
"Yeah, like you're monster's dinner." Risty muttered quietly, causing Drew, Bowen, Leina, and Luis to snicker a bit.
"What was that, Risty?" Sypha questions, heard her.
"Nothing." Risty quickly answered.
"Do you think we'll make the next town before we lose the last of the light?" Sypha questions.
"With a bit of luck. If this doesn't take too long." Trevor answered.
"But last time, we were barely holding against those night creatures, and the cost is our supplies are dangerously low. Thanks to a certain Speaker." Luis told him, frowned at Sypha.
"I said I was sorry." Sypha argues. "I didn't mean it for destroying the supplies."
"You may have helped us kill the night creatures, but you've destroyed the supplies." Leina states seriously.
Sypha crossed her arms with a pout, couldn't even win the argument between them. She then decided to change the subject.
"Do we need to make more noise?" Sypha asks with a smile.
"No. They can hear us." Trevor told her with a smirk.
"They need to hurry up." Sypha complains with a sigh. "I'm hungry."
"And I could use a drink." Trevor adds.
"It's no use complaining about it." Bowen told his brother. "We also need supplies for another journey."
"And we also need money." Drew adds, checking through his pouch. "We're getting low since we used it last time for the supplies."
"He's right. Thus, we still have to check up on Braila." Leina adds.
Trevor knew they're right since they were getting low on money and they're all out of supplies for the long journey. He then turns back to the forest.
"Anyway, it should start any minute now." Trevor said, changing the subject. "Let them get in close and get confident."
"I know." Sypha told him when they heard a rustle from the bushes in the forest and growling. "Here they come."
Then, the glowing eyes reveled themselves as the demon lurks out of the forest, heading towards them. Trevor and his groups pulled the reigns, stopped the horses when they saw the demons are coming their way. Sypha was about to speak, but Risty, Luis, Bowen, Drew, and Leina got out of their wagons. Risty readied her mace while Drew readied his cutlass, heading towards the two demons, but they were glancing at the forest, revealed there are two more demons lurking out of the forest.
"I'm counting four." Bowen states with a smirk, readied his Combat Cross.
"Same here." Trevor agrees with a smirk.
"Yep." Sypha agrees.
"And for the record, Sypha, your way of acting sucks." Risty told her with a smirk, leaving Sypha gawked.
Before they were about to kill the demons, thunder struck two demons on the road, leaving them burned and died. The other two demons were enraged when then they're about to after them, but was sliced into two as the bodies collapses down and the blood have spilled. Trevor and the others are wondering who killed those demons before they do as the two figures revealed themselves. Leina narrowed her eyes, but widens her eyes with shock.
"Claudette!" Leina said her name.
"Tomoe!" Luis said her name with shock.
Claudette Vance is wearing a different attire which it resembles as a knight. She wore a chainmail with white shirt underneath, pauldrons with rerebraces, vambraces and gauntlets, fauld, leather pants with cuisses and poleyns, greves, sabatons, a metal headpiece, and a surcoat that has a lion insignia.
Tomoe has kept the same miko attire, but she wore a kasa straw hat on her head.
"It's been some time, Leina." Claudette told her sister with a smile. "Thought we come here to help you out dispose of these monsters."
"Indeed." Tomoe agrees with a smile, walking towards the group. "You helped us fight against those monsters in the continent, we've come to return the favor by helping you slay those demons."
"We've had it under control." Trevor told her.
"I'm sure you do." Claudette refutes with sarcasm, turns to Bowen. "It's good to see you again, Bowen Belmont."
"And to you as well, Claudette." Bowen nods.
"Wait, you know these two?" Sypha inquires surprisingly.
"Aye, that we do, lass." Drew nods with a smile.
Claudette and Tomoe then turns to Trevor and Sypha.
"I'm Claudette Vance, I'm the current Queen and I'm Leina's sister." Claudette introduces herself.
"And I'm Tomoe, Warrior Priestess of Hinomoto." Tomoe introduces herself. "What names do we call you both?"
Trevor and Sypha glances each other for a few seconds, turns to the two.
"Trevor Belmont, House of Belmont." Trevor introduces himself.
"I'm Sypha Belnades." Sypha introduces herself.
"So, you're Bowen's brother. I was expecting a little more...well, more." Claudette states.
"And what's that suppose to mean?" Trevor asks, feeling offended when Bowen, Risty, Luis, and Sypha snickered a bit.
"And I've noticed you're wearing different attires the last time I saw you." Tomoe states, noticed the two female fighters and two vampire hunters have different attires.
"Not like we have a choice, his culture is a lot different than ours." Risty told her with a shrug.
Tomoe gives her a nod with an understanding when Leina spoke.
"What were you two doing here?" Leina inquires curiously.
"We came here in Romania to help you find Dracula and end him, but when I've heard from the townspeople about the news, I was relieve to hear that he's gone for good." Claudette explains. "But now, the night creatures are scattering in his homeland. So, Tomoe and I are hunting them."
"Speaking of homeland, what was happening in Hinomoto?" Luis asks the warrior priestess.
"After I return home, the Kouma Ninja clan were trying to bring back Delmore. My fellow priestesses and I were able to fend them off, quickly end them for good. We buried the seal and hide it, so it won't fall into the wrong hands. After that, Claudette came here to form an alliance with the Mikado and help me banish the counsels for their own selfish gain when I give her an explanation." Tomoe explains. "The Mikado was furious of the counsels actions and have them exiled."
Luis nods with confirm, relieve to hear of her homeland.
"With Dracula gone, I suppose you're heading to town?" Claudette inquires.
"We were after we took care of those night creatures until you came along." Trevor told her rudely, heading towards the wagon.
"We're dangerously low on supplies and we're short on money." Drew adds.
"Well, we were wondering if we can come along with all of you." Tomoe offered. "With addition of our help, it'll be faster to kill the remaining night creatures here in Romania."
When they're about to accept their offer, Bowen and Sypha walk towards to Trevor, who's going through the wagon.
"Trevor, what are you doing?" Bowen questions his brother, raise his eyebrow.
"Buying some insurance." Trevor explains, grabbed the rope. "Between the wandering packs of night creatures, and the brigands and opportunistic criminals, and that one guy with the horse-drawn sailboat on wheels that called himself the Pirate of the Roads..."
"It's best to look like useful friends when we arrive at new towns." Sypha states.
"You're catching on." Trevor said with an impressed smirk when he and Bowen are tying up the dead night creature.
"Why is that?" Tomoe questions curiously.
"People nowadays are wanting proof of the night creatures dead. If we give them proof, we earned some money and free food." Luis explains, helping Drew tying up the other monster. "Though, we don't stay for too long because of the night creatures that are still scattering around in Romania."
"I'm not surprised, considering the Church who's responsible of Lisa's death and having Dracula committed genocide." Claudette states with a sigh, crossed her arms. "Let's just hope it's enough proof we have here."
And with that, they placed the dead monsters in the wagons, journeying through the forest to get to town.
Austria, Carmilla's Castle
After a long month journey, Carmilla and her forces are finally back at Styria with Hector in tow, who's attire are now in tatter and his face is still bruised from a fight against her, his eye is shut, his head is bleeding, and his mouth is bleeding. The three vampires ae waiting at the castle gates when they saw Carmilla and her forces marched their way towards the gates.
The first vampire is a slender beautiful young woman of a shorter stature with ginger red hair and red eyes, her hair are gathered into a small long braid on her back with silver hair ornament and a translucent veil, but the rest of her hair is wavy and worn loose. She wore a dark navy blue dress with teal embellishments and trimming and partially covered at the shoulders by a fluffy white coat. She has a belt with a bat-like symbol on the buckle, and she also wears a silver necklace and studs.
The second vampire is a female vampire with androgynous features. She has a long black unkempt hair with dark gray lips and light green eyes. She's not only more stocky and muscular, but is also considerably taller than them. She wore a dark blue cloak which hides her black suit of armor, red sash, dress in a darker shade of white, and a leather belt. She also wore a left pauldron that appears to be fashioned after a raven's head, and an ornament on her hair.
Soon as Carmilla and her forces arrived at the castle gates, one of them spoke.
"We'd almost given up hope." She told her with a smile.
"30 fucking days, Lenore." Carmilla snarled with a scowl when Lenore took the veil off. "We were lucky to march for eight hours a night."
"I'm sorry." Lenore apologizes with sincere.
"Why were you marching?" The muscular vampire questions curiously while the vampire army march towards the castle. "You were given horses for a reason."
"Well, you didn't give me immortal vampire horses of death, did you?" Carmilla retorts with a question, furiously. "800 miles, and every inch of it infested with bastards. We lost the horses to arrows and swords in the first week! It's absolutely bloody chaos out there! Humans fighting each other, night creatures gone mad, even vampire packs trying to set up kingdoms. There is literally no one between here and Braila who I don't want to murder."
"So, what do you want to do first, Carmilla?" The muscular vampire inquires, placed her hand on her hip.
"I want to get in a bath for at least a day." Carmilla told her with a scoff. "And then I want you to bring a cartographer to my chambers. I may have a plan."
Hector was still being towed by the vampire which it left them noticed him getting dragged, but stops.
"Oh yes." Carmilla said, turns to him. "Striga. Take this to a cell and lock it up. Throw it food once a day."
"What is it?" Striga questions seriously with a growl.
"It's a whining bag of shit that I would be happily have dropped in a ditch at any moment over the last month." Carmilla explains with annoyance. "But it is also a Forgemaster. So keep it alive. My plan includes it."
"Take this to the western cellblock." Striga ordered the vampires, points at one of them. "Don't kill it. And throw some water over it. It stinks."
And with that, the vampires complied to her order as they drag Hector to the castle. Striga then turns to Carmilla and spoke.
"If there's nothing else urgent, I suggest we get you indoors and give you a proper welcome." Striga suggests.
"My sisters." Carmilla muttered, placed her hands on their hands. "I've spent the last ten days of that hell march wondering if I'd die of hunger or sheer bloody rage before I got home...and wondering if you'd still be waiting for me. Where's Morana?"
"She awaits us inside." Lenore told her. "Come on."
With that, the three vampires are heading towards the castle to meet up with Morana.
At the west cell, the vampires dragged Hector towards the cell after getting his clothes out and left him naked. One of the vampires grabbed the keys and opens the cell door, tossed Hector into the cell, and shuts the door. The vampire then grabs the wooden bucket, walking towards the cell and tosses the moldy beard to Hector. The vampire then puts the wooden bucket down, heading towards and reads the book while guarding the cells. Hector felt like he's been treated like an animal instead of being respected, like Dracula usually respects him, but he only respects Isaac the most. Hector grabs the moldy bread when he was about to eat it, noticed a bug crawling out of the bread and left as he then eats the moldy bread, tossed it and starts crying quietly.
Inside of the castle at the room, a vampire named Morana is waiting for Carmilla's return while pouring the blood on the wine glass.
Morana is a vampire with an average height and daker features, dark brown hair which appears to be a shoulder-length, thick and wavy, and light blue eyes. She wore an ultramarine blue and white dress which she accompanies with golden shawl. She also wears blue eyeshadows, gold earrings, and a ring on her right ear.
Morana noticed Striga and Lenore are with Carmilla, arriving at the draw room. Carmilla turns her head, noticed Morana is waiting.
"There you are, Morana." Carmilla said with a smirk. "It's good to see you again."
"You're late." Morana told her with a chuckle after closes the glass door, smirking.
"30 days slogging through..."
"To make terrible time." Morana interrupts seriously, watching Carmilla walking towards the fireplace. "We stationed our forces with a days ride of Braila. Where are the horses?"
Carmilla is getting annoyed by those questions which she's not the only who wants to know what happened.
"Killed by insane humans with pointy sticks." Carmilla told her with annoyance, turns to her. "And half a dozen of starving night creatures. And eaten. And every other fucking thing. The plan couldn't have gone more wrong."
"You'll be wanting a drink, then." Morana suggests with an amusing chuckle, extends the glass of blood when Carmilla accepts it and drinks it.
"Virgin's blood." Carmilla states with a smirk, turns to them. "Oh, bless your dead little hearts. You still love me."
"Welcome home, Carmilla." Morana told her, walks close to Striga. "We're all so glad to have you back with us."
"The plan didn't matter a whit compared to your safety." Lenore told her with a smile. "Welcome back to your castle and your realm."
"It's us against the world, Carmilla." Striga added with a smirk. "Same as it always was."
Romania, Lindenfeld
In a small town, the people are lighting up the lanterns for the night and are about to head to home to get some sleep while the guards are guarding the gates. Some of the people are at the market district, looking for either the food or weapons. A mysterious man is walking towards the market district, looking for something to eat.
The mysterious man is a middle-age man with light beige blonde medium hair with a moustache and a beard. He wore a dark green beret on his head, red jacket with three leather straps and black frills on the sleeves, white shirt underneath, brown pants, white shoes with black trims and a golden buckles, and a dark green coat. He also wears a golden necklace with a large hourglass and carries a cane.
He then uses his cane to tap the apples, leans closer as he smells it. The owner couldn't help but scowl at the man, wondering if he would buy those apples or not.
"Mister Saint Germain."
"Just Saint Germain, please?" Saint Germain told her with an assure smile.
"You're not a mister?"
"I most certainly am not." Saint Germain answered, placed his cane on his shoulder.
"What are you, then?"
"Many things, young lady. Many things." Saint Germain states with a smirk, raise his eyebrow as he placed his hand on his chin. "I'd like two apples, I think."
"Two coins each."
"They were one denarius yesterday." Saint Germain protests calmly.
"That was yesterday."
"Yes. Just yesterday, they were one denarius." Saint Germain told her. "Has there been some apocalyptic development that I somehow slept through in the meantime?"
"Times moved on. Season's ending. Less supply, same demand."
"Time absolutely does move on, and sadly, none of us is master or mistress on it." Saint Germain states, agreeing to her statement while crossed his arms. "You should be a banker."
Even though, she didn't like her remark, but extends her hand for the money.
"Give me some coins to count, then. Practice."
Saint Germain couldn't help but groan as he pulls out his red pouch, goes through it when he pulls out the silver coin.
"Excellent. I have one grosh." Saint Germain to her, who's crossed her arms with a scowl.
"I said two coins each."
"But a grosh is twice as large as a denarius, and twice as thick, with twice the silver of a denarius. You see?" Saint Germain states, tried to negotiate with her.
"Grosh isn't coin."
"It most certainly is a coin." Saint Germain told her.
"We don't truck with that eastern money around here. Proper coin, Mister Saint Germain."
"Good grief." Saint Germain said with annoyance, placed his hand on the coins and turns it into four coins with a smile. "My apples, if you please."
Until, they heard horse steps that was coming at the front gate as he turns his head, seeing Trevor and his group arrived at the small town.
"It's a little late for new arrivals, isn't it?" Saint Germain muttered with a question, raise his eyebrow. "I trust this isn't a bolder breed of brigand, or what imbecile who puts wheels on his boat again."
However, it was neither of them when he noticed the dead night creatures in tow which it got him surprised, yet impressed.
"Well...this is new." Saint Germain muttered.
One of the townspeople walk towards the monster while Trevor and his group got out of the wagons.
He is a middle-aged man with light brown eyes and he's bald. He wore a black robes with black shoulder pads and black boots.
"So...Had you been having problems with a night creature pack outside your lovely town?" Trevor inquires with a smile, walking towards the monster.
"If you mean, 'Were terrible naked bastards from Hell trying to eat people in the forest', then yes." He told him.
"So had the village down the road." Trevor states, thrusting his thumb. "They told us the pack had been hitting travelers and transports. My partners and I decided to take care of that for you. Where are we?"
"This is Lindenfeld." He answered.
"I get it, it's a minister town." Bowen states.
"The spire we saw from the road belongs to the priory, yes?" Sypha inquires with delight, walking towards the townspeople.
"Oh! You're a Speaker. We haven't seen any of your people in some while." He states, raise his eyebrow. "It's a genuine honor. I'm the Judge of Lindenfeld."
"A township Judge!" Sypha states excitedly.
"Easy, Sypha, no need to get over-excited." Luis told her, turns to Judge. "You'll have to excuse her, she can be a bit excited for something new."
"No, it's quite alright." Judge assures the Spaniard vampire hunter.
"What does she mean by township Judge?" Tomoe inquires.
"It's a very old term for the headman and the landlord of a town, from the time before boyers and lords." Bowen explains to the warrior priestess.
"Damn, must be hard to keep up as a Judge." Risty states, scratching her head.
"Anyway, what is your name?" Sypha questions.
"I'm simply the Judge." Judge answered. "And you are?"
"Wait a moment." Trevor muttered with a scowl.
"What's wrong?" Leina asks curiously.
"Let's just say we're not alone." Bowen told his lover with a scowl.
They then saw the monks approaching them.
"What are they?" Luis quietly asks.
"I don't know, but looks like bad news to me." Risty states with a scowl.
"And by the look of those monks, they're trouble." Claudette added with a scowl, placed her hand on her Thunderclap.
"Those are monks of Priory." Judge told them. "Take care. They are somewhat, uh, broken."
"Aye, tell us something we don't know." Drew agrees with a scowl, watching them approaches the night creature.
"Judge." The head monk said.
"Prior Sala." Judge said back.
"What is happening here?" Sala questions, looking at the night creature. "And this is a night creature of Dracula's horde."
"It is." Judge agrees when Sala turns to Trevor and his group.
"Did you kill them?" Sala questions.
"That's right." Trevor answered when Sala approaches closely to the dead night creatures.
"What is he doing?" Tomoe asks.
"I don't know." Luis answered, shook his head. "But I don't like it."
"Good. The horde betrayed Dracula and Braila. Murder at the hands of vagabonds and a long dragging behind a wagon is no less then they deserve." Sala states.
"Betrayed him?" Sypha repeats with a scowl.
"Dracula is dead. Didn't you hear?" Sala questions.
"We didn't." Bowen answered, lying to him. "How did you know about it?"
"Information still gets carried between ministers." Sala explains. "Vampires were trapped at Braila, and they told of his castle being flooded with holy water and sent back to Hell. They said they felt his death. I would very much like to know who killed him."
"And why should be tell you when you've heard about it?" Leina questions with a scowl.
"So my men can punish those responsible." Sala told her. "Dracula sought to reunite us all in Hell with his beloved wife."
"Ok, then. Nice to meet you." Trevor said wearily with a smile.
"There was a Speaker woman at Gresit." Sala states, turns to them. "What are your names?"
"Look, all you need to know is that we're just travelers." Risty told him with growl, scowling at the man while placed her hand next to the handle of her mace. "So you better back off before I decided to end up regretting it later."
"Is that a threat?" Sala questions calmly.
"You bet your ass it is." Risty answered, glaring at Sala. "Now back off!"
Judge decided to call the guards before things could get out of hands as they approach the monks.
"It is time for you and yours to move along now, Prior." Judge told him.
"Indeed. We shall give thanks." Sala said as he and his fellow monks left.
"What the hell was that?" Trevor questions while watching them leave.
"We suffered an attack during the recent troubles. It was a difficult night for the priory." Judge explains. "Honestly, though, when it was learned that the actions of the Church were what unleashed is all, I think it just sent Prior Sala and his people quite mad."
"Yeah, we noticed how mad he really is." Risty agrees with a scowl. "If he thinks he'll punish us, he's out of his mind."
"Great, an insane fanatic who worships Dracula." Luia groans with annoyance.
"But what does he mean by Dracula sought to reunite us?" Tomoe inquires.
"He means he's planning to resurrect Dracula and kill us all." Bowen told her seriously.
"Which it also means we need to be on our guard whenever the fanatics are around." Claudette added with a ponder.
They all agreed to Claudette's suggestion as the Judge spoke.
"He's just taking in refugees of a similar turn in mind." Judge told them. "It's a problem. Mister...?"
"I'm Trevor. This is Sypha." Trevor told him.
"I'm Claudette. This is my sister, Leina." Claudette adds.
"I'm Trevor's brother, Bowen." Bowen told him. "This is Risty, Luis, Drew, and Tomoe."
"No last names?" Judge asks.
"Not until I feel a little safer here." Trevor points out.
"Sensible." Judge said with smirk, extends his hand when Trevor shakes his hand. "Well, Mr. Trevor, a pleasure to meet you all. Welcome to Lindenfeld."
And with that, Judge walk away.
"What do you want for its teeth?"
They then turn to the merchant, who ask for night creatures teeth.
"What?" Trevor inquires.
"I'll give you two coins for each tooth."
"What do you need those teeth for?" Drew inquires curiously.
"For research. Not many comes here with dead night creatures these days, and by the looks of it, you brought four of them."
"Pardon me?" Sypha questions.
"All right, three."
"But..."
"Sypha." Trevor calls her while talking to the merchant. "Three coins a tooth is fine, but you'll have to get them out yourself."
"Happily!"
And with that, the merchant then uses his teeth extracting tools to pull the demon teeth out. Sypha wasn't too happy about it and neither does the others, but they need the money for the food supplies and for travels.
"Trevor, that is wrong!" Sypha protests.
"You're hungry, aren't you?" Trevor questions seriously.
"Well, yes." Sypha answered.
"We need friends, but we also need coins." Trevor told her.
"I hate to admit it, but he's right. With our supplies are low, along with the money, and with those fanatics are looking for us, we need all the help we can get." Risty states seriously. "Besides, I have a very bad feeling about this Sala guy."
"I felt something, too. I'm feeling dark aura here in Lindenfeld." Tomoe adds, pondered.
Sypha knew that Risty and Tomoe are right about Sala and his group, but she also knows Trevor is right about getting money.
"You know on second thought, for food, and for somewhere to sleep that isn't the back of the wagon. You know, that might be nice." Sypha states. "I mean, I'm used to sleeping in wagons, but it is nice when you stop."
"And that man there has beer." Trevor muttered with his eyes widen, walking towards the bar stand. "Could I get a mug? I'll have some coins in a minute."
The bartender woke up and notice those dead night creatures on the road, turns to Trevor.
"You killed that bastard things. You get one free."
"I love you!" Trevor muttered happily when the bartender gives the mug of pin as he chugs it down, much to Sypha and Bowen's annoyance. "Oh, my God. That is better than sex."
And that got Sypha really annoyed and Trevor into trouble when she uses her ice magic to freeze the pint. Trevor was about to drink, but noticed the mug of pint is frozen when it lands on the ground. Trevor turns to the group.
"Better than sex." Sypha growled with a huff, stormed away.
"What? What'd I do?" Trevor asks, feeling oblivious.
"Poor word choices, Trevor." Bowen groans with annoyance, pinching the bridge of his nose when the others snickered a bit.
Trevor goes after Sypha, tried to reason with her which it didn't end very well.
"And I thought your brother is better than that." Claudette states with a scowl, disgusted with Trevor. "He's vulgar."
"I think it's best we stay out of it. This is between these two." Luis told her.
And with that, Bowen and his group are heading to the wagons to rest for the night while Trevor keeps on trying to reason with Sypha.
That's it for the 1st chapter of the third volume of Queen's Vampire Hunter.
