It was a day like any other day at UA High. The sky was clear, the birds were singing their merry songs, and happy g9 lucky students rambled about their lives.

Then there was class 1-A, going about their usual chatter until Aizawa told everyone to shut up.

That day was the start of what was just a simple hero training project turned to a full on villain rehabilitation process.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves here.

Aizawa, with a big stack of folders in front of him, addressed his students.

"Alright. Today I'm introducing to you to another skill heroes need for their work. Detective skills.
There are always heroes that will work side by side with the police and detectives in their investigations.

Remember that being a hero comes with different fields of heroics.

Now, what I have in front of me is cold cases that were never solved and had to be closed. What each of you are going to do is choose one and use all resources provided to solve the cold case you chose. You have two weeks." The tired raven said.

He then began to call up the students. One by one.

A certain green haired teen sat eagerly waiting for his turn to go up.

As soon as he was called, he went up.

"Go ahead and choose, problem child." Aizawa said.

The child in question, Izuku Midoriya, looked at the files laid out in front of him.

He spotted one that was particularly interesting. He opened it.

It was a very intense case about a family being killed by a child's quirk manifesting and the child going missing. There was nothing much. Just who the family was.

"The Shimura Massacre…" Izuku muttered.

The boy looked at his teacher.

"I want this one." He said.

"That case was closed 15 years ago and there weren't many leads. I don't-" Aizawa was cut off.

"It doesn't matter. I'm taking it. This kid could be still alive right now." Izuku said, showing his teacher a missing poster.

"Tenko Shimura? I don't know…." Aizawa said, shaking his head.

"Aizawa Sensei. It's not just about my grade. I want to actually solve this." Izuku insisted.

The tired teacher just sighed.

"Fine. Just don't do anything stupid again. I don't want to have to fill out paperwork again…" He said lamely.

Izuku nodded with that overly determined look on his face.

And so begins the investigation into a 15 year old case and the search for the seemingly deceased Tenko Shimura.

Izuku didn't know who would be waiting at the end of his journey….
