I rolled up to UA in my electric wheelchair and looked at the large intimidating building. I made my way to the table at the front and met with the woman at the table.

"Name and course you are testing for," she said.

"I-Izumi M-Midoriya, Support Course," I said.

"Alright, you'll be in testing room A," she said, pointing down the hall on her left. "It will be marked down there."

"Thank you," I said, turning my wheelchair in that direction. I rolled down the hall until I came across the room marked 'Testing Room A'. I opened the door and rolled in, noting that I was the first one.

"Ah, it seems like you like to be early, what's your name?" a voice asked. I looked to see Power Loader standing by the front desk.

"I-Izumi M-Midoriya, s-sorry," I said.

"It's alright, the test will be starting in about an hour. I guess I can understand why you would want to get here early. If you don't mind, what happened?" he asked.

"I-I can't t-talk about it. It w-was an a-accident," I said, looking down at my legs.

"Ah, I understand," he said, dropping the topic. "So, what kind of equipment do you plan on specializing in if you get accepted?"

"Mechanics and neural controlled devices," I said.

"Hmm, not many do stuff like that."

"U-um, w-well," I stuttered.

"I understand, you must have one hell of a mental quirk," he said.

"Oh, w-well, I-I'm quirkless," I explained.

"Oh, sorry for that," he said, looking up as the room started to fill. "Looks like we've been talking for a while. Go to the table near the scrap pile and I'll give the instructions once everyone gets in," he said, walking to the front. After a few minutes he got everyone's attention by clearing his throat. "Alright, your exam will be to build a small useful gadget that can fit in a pocket. You will use the pile of scrap metal in the back. Any questions?" No one did anything. "Alright, get to work," he said, sitting down.

I quickly turned around and rolled over to the pile. I grabbed two hand fans, a small circuit board, some sheet metal, and a broken cell phone. I rolled back to my station and pulled the phone apart removing the antenna, camera, and battery. I then realized a possible flaw in my plan and raised my hand.

"What do you need?" he asked, walking over to me.

"I-is it a-alright if w-we make the d-device r-remotely connect to o-one we have p-previously built?" I asked.

"Depending on the device it might lower your score but sure," he said.

"Just some g-goggles that have a Heads Up Display(HUD)," I explained.

"Hmm, it will be fine but I will have to see if it lowers the score after the full machine is built," he explained.

"Alright," I said, getting back to work.

I removed the foam from the fans and made sheet metal copies that were slightly smaller and attached them to the propellers as I removed the motors and started working on the casing. After an hour of work I had a thin metal box around the tech of my device.

"I'm done," I sighed.

"Already?" Power Loader asked, walking up. "Let's see this," he said, getting to my workplace.

I took the device out of the box and put my round goggles on. I then turned the power on both the device and my goggles.

UP. I thought, watching the two propellers start spinning and the drone lifted up. I then got the camera feed through my goggles even though I could see it. I then had it fly around the room before landing in front of me.

"How are you controlling it?" Power Loader asked.

"The goggles have a small neuron sensor that can read brainwaves and tell the device what to do," I explained. "It just can't accept difficult commands so with them I can only have it do simple things like fly up and around as well as seeing the camera feed on the goggles and then I can also make it remotely shut down."

"Wow, well, you're free to go. Also leave the drone," the hero said.

"Oh, I-I thought I c-could keep i-it," I said, a little dejected.

"Don't worry, it'll be here on the first day of your classes here. You've done something even I thought impossible," Power Loader said. "You got a hundred percent on the practical for the support course. Now go take the written and I'll see you when classes start back up."

"Yes sir," I said, putting my goggles away.

I rolled out of the room and to the written portion. I quickly finished that and made my way home. I rolled into the single person apartment and started some water for tea and raman. After my dinner I got a quick bath before heading to bed. About a month later I got my acceptance letter stating that I was in class 1-F. I got my uniform and my class list. In the specialty hour it was marked custom. Two weeks after that was the first day of classes. I rolled to the 1-F room and realized it was a full workshop with more equipment than I've ever seen. It also had work stations set up at each table. I made my way to the one near the back that was slightly lower than the rest for me.

"Alright, I'm going to be your homeroom teacher," Power Loader said, walking up to the front. "You can call me Mr. Maijima. In a few moments we will be heading out to the opening ceremony and you will all meet your guidance counselors and have a small one on one. Also, you will notice that half the day starting tomorrow will be spent on just building and your specialties. This will be revoked if your grades in your normal classes start to slip and you will have remedial courses during that time with the teachers of the classes you are having trouble in. Now, normally class order is by name, but I like to have fun and do it by your overall score on the entrance exam," Mr. Maijima explained. "So line up in this order; Izuku Midoriya, Drew Lynx, Nepgear Celestia, Uni Celestia," he kept calling names until all twenty of us were in a line.

I looked behind me to see a girl with long silvery white hair and two black cat ears on her head with a black tail swishing behind her and green eyes. Behind her was a girl with long light purple hair and a d-pad clip in her hair with purple eyes. Behind her was a girl with long black hair and red eyes. I turned my head back and led us to the auditorium where the principal gave a speech and we split off to find our guidance counselors. I learned that mine was the heroine 13 and she wasn't wearing her costume when we met.

"Hello Midoriya, how are you?" she asked, sitting at a desk.

"P-pretty good," I said. "W-why aren't y-you in your c-costume?" I asked.

"Well, during meetings I think it's better if I'm not as my costume is a bit strange if not intimidating. Now then, do you want to set up meetings or do you want to wait and see if you need meetings?" she asked, smiling at me.

"Um, c-can we wait t-to see i-if I n-need them?" I asked.

"Sure, if you ever want to set up a meeting send me an email and we can set one up," she said.

"Th-thank you," I said, turning around and rolling out of her office.

AN-

This has been sitting in my ideas list since I wrote Zero(my first MHA fic) and I haven't gotten to writing it because my friend who used to help me knew very little to nothing about the characters where Izumi will be getting her equipment from. I actually modified my idea for this fic to fit my Iron Spider fic and changed my OC Drew to a different style of character but this will be the original idea for Drew not the one I made for that fic. I am currently making a full list of equipment she will have but you won't get the list until after the festival. I hope you guys like this as this has been in my back pocket for awhile and so my ideas have been building and so this should be good. Make sure to follow, favorite, comment, and kudos! Link Out!
