"I still don't see why it has to be us," Ahsoka grumbles.

"I don't either, but it's only gonna be for a few weeks," Anakin reasons. "Obi-Wan was already sent ahead of us, so moving in won't be too hard, and all we have to do is get a lay of the culture, make sure there's not any Separatist activity, and we're off."

"It's easier for you, you don't have to wear a holocron cloak every time you go out in public," Ahsoka counters.

"Well, considering it seems this planet hasn't had any contact with other species, it might cause a stir if a togruta was suddenly spotted wandering around the city."

"I understand why, it doesn't mean I have to like it though." The jedi padawan plops unceremoniously into the copilot's chair. She smooths the edges of her usual uniform dress. "My belt, gear and lightsabers are already packed away. Based on the images they showed us, I think this will pass as normal clothing until we find a suitable store. That's if we can manage to land this ship without being seen."

"Relax Snips, I could land this thing with my eyes closed."

Ahsoka smirks. "That didn't turn out so well last time you tried."

"That's because the engine was faulty."

The togruta rolls her eyes. "You always blame the ship."

...

Chase clicks his ballpoint pen absentmindedly. As per usual for AP Calculus, he already finished the classwork, the homework, and is busy waiting for the last half hour of the period to tick by.

"Chase Davenport."

He looks up at the teacher in from of the class. "Yes?"

"Could you come up here please?"

Chase obliges, a bit curious. "Yes, Ms. Barros."

She smiles as he reaches her desk. "We have a new student enrolling. I was speaking with the administration, and given the fact you're at the top of all your classes, I suggested you would be the perfect student to show her around tomorrow, if you're interested."

"Yeah, sure. I'd be happy to."

"Excellent. Report to the office twenty minutes before school tomorrow."
