Today was an ordinary day for the aftons. Michael was messing with Chris, Elizabeth was trying to stop the chaos, and Clara and William sat in the kitchen drinking coffee. Michael was currently in his room after being sent there by his mother. He was planning another scheme until suddenly a small teen appeared in front of him. They had light brown skin, dark brown curly hair with red streaks in it, light freckles, puppy ears, and a tail, and they wore a choker, (or to him, a collar with spikes hanging down from it) a red hoodie with peachy pink sleeves, a black skirt, and some boots. "Hello." They greeted.

"What the fu-"

"Dad! There's a random girl in my room!" He yelled. Suddenly his room door burst open and standing there were William and Clara. "William—" Clara called out. "Yo."

The teen greeted. "Child," Clara said. "I'm 16 actually I'm just really small." They said. "Would you like some coffee?" Clara asked. "Sure."

"Why are you okay with this?" Michael asked his mother. "She— Sorry— He's very interesting is all." He smiled at her as he sipped his coffee. "Sorry, 'he?'"

"Those are the pronouns I prefer is that an issue?" He asked, his ruby orbs focused on Michael. "No. It's just… new to me is all." He stared at him a moment more, before setting his cup down and getting up from the table, and looking up at Michael. "Tall bitch." He said.

"Tiny whore." He retorted. "What's your name dear?" Clara asked. He turned around to look at her. "Mao."

"What a lovely name!"

"Doesn't that mean warrior in chinese?" William asked. "I think so, yeah. I'm from spain though. Maybe my dad knew chinese? My mom wanted to name me something girly."

William hummed. "I'm gonna go hang out with Simon and the others," Michael said as he headed for the door. "Bring him with you," William said as he sipped on his coffee while reading the newspaper. "What? Why?"

"Because if he says no to Elizabeth she'll start having a tantrum." Michael scoffed. "Fine." Mao cheered. "Michael," Mao called out. "What?"

"Let's get married." Clara choked on her coffee while Michael look surprised, confused, and maybe a little flustered. "Oh, my," Clara said as she stood up. "What? No! Why would I wanna marry you?"

"Why not?" William asked as he looked up at Michael. "Well b-because— Because we don't know each other!" He exclaimed. "Me and your mother didn't know much about each other when we got married. What's the difference?"

"W-well—"

"Just say no dumbass. If you don't want to then say it." A look of hurt flashed in Mao's eyes. Even though Michael didn't know him, Mao has had a crush on Michael for the longest time. And other characters some years after the game first came out. "I'll be outside," Mao said as he walked to the door and opened it walking onto the porch and closing the door behind him as he sat on the steps.

He heard the front door open. "Do you like my son? Clara explained a bit of your situation to me." Mao frowned. "A little yeah. ..It's not just him though. My stupid ass falls for video game characters and expects them to magically feel the same."

He muttered bitterly as he watched cars fly by. "I see. Be careful. Michael's friends are.. aggressive. They're quite the bullies." Mao chuckled.

"Oh don't worry, I'm quite the bully myself. Nice talking to you Mr. Afton." William hummed and went back inside. He heard the door open and close behind him. "Let's go," Mao said as he stood up, allowing Michael to lead the way.

Mao went and sat on a bench pulling his phone out of his pocket scrolling through tiktok. "Ooh, what's that?"

"My phone."

"You from the future or some shit?"

"You gonna keep interrogating me?"

"I like this one. You dating?"

Mao rolled his eyes pulling his hood over his head. "Just leave him alone. Dad made me take him."

"Him?"

"Pronouns."

"Ah."

"If you're gonna talk shit about me, do it somewhere else," Mao said as he got up starting to walk away. "Wh- Are you actually mad about that?" Michael asked as he chased after Mao. He grabbed Mao's shoulder only for Mao to slap his hand off. Mao ran off before he could say anything.

Mao was currently punching a tree to release his anger. He didn't care about his bloody knuckles nor did he care about the footsteps approaching him. He was surprised when a hand prevented his fist from hitting the tree. He looked up to see a teen a foot and some inches taller than him. He had long black hair, brown skin, red eyes, he wore a black short-sleeved turtleneck-like shirt with a long sleeve white shirt under it, jeans, and some sneakers. He also had a purple bunny mask on the side of his head. "Didn't you hear me?

I told you you could hurt yourself doing this!" He then sighed. "Come on, my house isn't far from here. My mom should have some bandages." He said as he grabbed Mao's hand easily navigating through the woods. He opened the door to a cabin and closed the door behind him, turning the light on and letting go of his hand to go find some bandages. Mao sat on the couch trying to process what happened.

The teen came back and sat beside Mao, gently grabbing one of his hands and wrapping the bandage around his hand carefully. "What were you doing out there by yourself? You could've gotten hurt." Mao took a moment to answer. "I was just letting off some steam. I would do this back home so it's no big deal." He said.

The boy looked him in the eyes. "You know you can damage your hands by doing that right? It'd be a shame if your hands were damaged." Mao huffed. "Why would you care?" He asked. "I can see it."

"What?" He questioned. "Your talent. I can see in your eyes. You like to write stories right? It'd be a shame if you couldn't because you damaged your hands." He said giving Mao a smile as he finished bandaging his hands.

"Anyway, I don't feel like I should leave you here. So I'll just bring you with me. C'mon." He said as he stood up. He walked over to the door and opened it, allowing Mao to walk out first before closing and locking the door behind him. Mao followed behind the bunny boy, eventually making it back to the park where Michael's friends were messing with him. "C'mon you guys, leave him alone!" He yelled.

The teen wearing the chicken mask ran over to the bunny boy and slung an arm over his shoulder. "Simon!" He yelled. Simon snorted. He then looked over at Mao. "Yo, Mike! Your boyfriend's back!"

He said pointing to Mao. "Fuck off Jace!" Michael yelled back. Mao walked over to a bench sat down and stared up at the sky. "You still mad?" Michael asked. Mao didn't respond.

"Dude." Michael sighed. "I don't even know what you see in me. But it's whatever. You can marry me or whatever."

"I shouldn't have said that."

"What?"

"Nothing." Michael hummed. A few moments later, Mao spoke up. "I'm gonna marry Simon."

"Wh— You can't marry more than one person!" Mao turned to him. "Of course, I can! I have seven husbands and two wives, I can definitely marry more than one person." Michael had nothing to say. "Did they at least know they were married to each other?"

"Yep." Michael sighed. "Go ahead then." Mao grinned and ran up to Simon, hugging him, surprising the male. "Oh-" He looked down seeing the fluff of Mao's hair. He patted Mao's head.

"He's so small." The teen in the bear mask commented. "Yes. He's very small. Don't you like short people Simon?" Jace asked. "Shut up Jace."

"You didn't answer the question—" Mao looked up at Simon, ruby orbs shining. Simon gave him a smile. "He's so cute. I'm keeping him." The teen in the bear mask said. "Wh— No!

I found him first! And my mom already likes him so she'll be worried if he doesn't come back home." Michael said. "But— He's so cute, I can't help it."

"Whatever, you wanna go to the mall?"

"Wait— Michael, didn't we have school today?"

"Let's go to the mall."

"Dude don't ignore me!"

"God damn the mall sucked in the '80s. Got better shit in 2022. Hot Topic didn't even exist then." Mao commented. "So you are from the future." Mao shrugged. "In a way, yeah."

"Y'all at least got ice cream though, right?"

"Y'all?"

"Bitch you wanna fight?"

"I—"

"Jace leave him alone."

"I didn't do anything!"

"Yes, we have ice cream. You wanna go get some? I've been meaning to get Liz some anyway." Michael asked. "Yes. Let's go. I want ice cream."

Michael chuckled. "Let's go then."

"I'm coming with you because I don't want to be part of whatever chaos they cause," Simon said as he ran beside Michael. "What if I also cause some chaos—"

"Mao no."

Mao ended up bumping into a small child. "Oops. Sorry, kiddo." Mao apologized. The kid looked scared. "C'mon, my face ain't that scary."

The kid snapped out of their trance and looed away apologetically. "Sorry mister." Mao was a little surprised. "Eh, where's your parents?" He asked. "My momma told me to wait here." Mao hummed.

"And where'd she go?" He asked. "She went over there with a strange man. Momma was really mad." Mao frowned. "Wanna check it out? I'll go with you."

"O-okay." I should be concerned but I'm more worried about the mom right now. He thought. "C'mon." He said as he grabbed the little girl's hand and walked over to the direction she'd pointed him to. "Momma." She softly murmured. There was a woman with long black hair yelling at a man that seemed to be forcing himself onto her. "Wait here. I'll be back."

The girl nodded and let go of Mao's hand. Mao knocked on the door. "You alright?" He asked. "Your daughter's out here waitin' for you." He said. "I-I'll be out in a minute!" She stammered. The man had gone into the back. Mao assume it was a weapon so he ran into the store and grabbed the woman's hand and ran out, barely dodging the knife the man had thrown in an attempt to stop Mao. He led her over to the little girl he'd met earlier. The woman let go of his hand and ran over to her daughter hugging her. Mao turned around only to see the man charging at him. Mao dodged it and swiped the man's legs from under him making him trip, the gun flying out of his hands and sliding into the center of the mall where some people gasped in surprise. One person started to call for security.

The man tripped Mao while he was distracted pinning him down. Mao, grateful he knew self-defense, used his knee to flip the man off of him. Luckily security came and got the man before he caused any more damage. Mao panted as he stared up at the ceiling. Michael and Simon ran to his side. "Are you alright? We went to go get Freddy and Jace.

What happened?" Michael asked as he helped Mao to sit up. Before he could answer the little girl hugged him. "Thank you, mister." She gratefully said. "Cassidy and I are very grateful for that. I didn't know what he planned to do to me.

Do you need any help? I'm a doctor, I could check if you have any injuries." Mao looked up at the woman. "Nah, I'm good. I've had worse believe it or not. Get home safe." The woman nodded and Cassidy let go and ran to her mother's side, taking her hand.

"I'll tell you later, but right now I need an ice pack. He hit me in the stomach. I think there's a bruise there. Simon groaned. "I guess we gotta go see Mr. Afton. He's so scary." Jace flicked Simon's head.

"Nah, you're just a wimp." Michael rolled his eyes. "Stop bullying Simon and let's go."

"Dude, c'mon. You either take off the hoodie or I'll take it off for you." Jace smirked. "That's kind of suspicious bro." Freddy snickered and Simon rolled his eyes. "Shut up and go get an ice pack. Simon help me, I'll go get some cotton and peroxide for his cuts."

Mao turned away as Michael left the room. "Mao, come on, you just have to lift it up for a little bit. Or you could just take it off. We won't judge. I promise." Mao looked to the door. "Mike and Jace won't either." Mao sighed.

"Fine," Mao said as he removed his hoodie and shirt. "Ah- Y-you didn't have to take your shirt off too!" Simon stammered as he looked away from Mao shielding his face. "Holy shit his tits are fucking huge," Jace said, nearly dropping the ice pack, standing in the doorway.

"Jace, stop staring!" Simon yelled. "C'mon, look at 'em. They're perfect." Jace said. "What are you— Oh my god Mao!"

Michael yelled turning away from Mao immediately. "Michael why are you yelling— Oh my." Clara immediately turned back around and walked back down the hallway. "You're exaggerating. They're not even that big. They're average at least."

Mao said. "God, Mao, put your shirt back on!" Mao tilted his head to the side. "You didn't want me to take my shirt off?" He asked. "No! I just needed you to lift your shirt up so I could check if you had any cuts or bruises."

"Too late. I don't feel like reaching for my shirt." Michael sighed and came into the room his face pink. "This feels so wrong.." He mumbled as he sat beside Mao, placing bandages over any small cuts Mao had. "Now can you put your shirt on?" He asked.

"Fine," Mao said as he grabbed his shirt and slipped it on. Michael sighed, "Thank god." He muttered. "I never got that ice cream."

"It's not my fault you got hurt. We probably have some in the fridge." Mao rolled his eyes and slipped his hoodie on as he got up off the bed and left the room. "How much you wanna bet he and Michael will end up doing it by the end of the month?" Jace asked. "What- Why would you bet on that—"

"Michael we're not mad, just… concerned with your choices," Clara said as she looked at her son, who's face was completely red. "I-it's not like that! Mao got into a fight and he took his shirt off when we were trying to treat his cuts!" Mao who had disappeared to go explore the house hadn't heard the conversation. "Whatever you say, Michael, just know we're not upset."

Mao was staring at Evan who was playing with his Fredbear toy. "Hello." Mao greeted as he sat on the floor. Evan looked up at him. "Uh, hi. Who are you?" He asked.

"I'm Michael's uh— Friend. I guess." Evan narrowed his eyes. "You don't seem like his friend. Mikey's friends call him Michael." Mao hummed.

"Well uh— I just met him so it'd be kinda weird no?" Evan hugged his bear tighter. "I- I guess. You're not gonna bully me too, right?" He asked.

"Nah, I don't like to mess with kids that particularly haven't done anything to me. If anyone messes with you just tell me. I'll beat 'em up for you, okay?" Evan gave him a little smile and nodded. "So what do you like to do kiddo?" Mao asked. "W-well I like to play with Fredbear and my other toys but Mikey says I'm too old to play with toys."

Mao hummed as he scooted closer to Evan. "You know what I think?" He asked. Evan looked up at him chocolate orbs glimmering with confusion. "I think he's jealous." Evan rose a brow. "Jealous?"

He repeated. "Yep. He's jealous because you're paying them more attention and not him. Or.. Maybe he's jealous that you get more attention than he does. Which sounds better?" He asked.

Evan looked down at Fredbear. Mao could've sworn its eyes moved. "What do you think Fredbear?" He asked. He looked back up at Mao. "I think it might be the second one. …Dad doesn't talk to Michael unless he does something wrong."

Mao hummed. "Can I hold one of your toys?" Mao asked. "Sure. Um, there's Foxy, Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie. I had another one but I can't find it. Which one do you want?"

Mao examined them. He liked Bonnie, but he also liked Foxy. "Foxy. I gotta leave my boy Bonnie today. Sorry, bud." Evan snorted and handed him Foxy. Mao held Foxy close, his head nearly buried in his chest.

"Who's your favorite?" Evan asked. "Hmm, let's see.." Mao trailed off. He liked Foxy's confidence and personality. He also like Bonnie's personality and talents. Freddy seemed nice, and Chica and he shared the same love for food.

"That's a hard question. I'd have to say… Bonnie. He seems like a cool dude. And I like rock music and he's good at playing guitar." Mao said. Evan seemed to be lost in thought. "Who's your favorite?"

Evan snapped out of his trance and looked up at Mao. "What? Oh. Um. I.. I like Fredbear. He's nice and friendly.

He's not mean and I think we would be good friends." Mao grinned. "You like to draw or color?" Mao asked. "I guess, yeah." Mao pulled out his phone, turned it on, unlocked it, and went to a coloring app. "Here.

They got all sorts of stuff on here." He said as he handed him his phone. Evan took it and started playing the game with a sparkle in his eye. Mao chuckled. He looked over to the closet then he looked at the Foxy plush. He laid his head on Evan's lap surprising him. "Sorry.

I do this to a lot of people. I can move if you want—"

"It's okay. I don't mind." Mao hummed and looked over, noticing two doors on either side of his room. "Why do you have two doors to your room?" Mao asked. "Oh, I don't know. Dad says that's how the house was when he bought it."

Mao hummed. Mao then yawned. "I'm tired, but I've already gotten comfortable. Mind if I sleep on your lap?" He asked. "No, I don't mind," Evan said.

"Good." Mao closed his eyes and eventually fell asleep. Evan looked away from Mao's phone and smiled, patting Mao's head. "His hair's so soft," He whispered. He then touched one of Mao's ears, confused when it twitched. "They're real?"

He quietly asked himself. His door then opened revealing his father. "Evan, dinner's ready— Oh, Mao's in here? I'll go tell Michael. But dinner's ready." Evan looked at Mao then at his father.

"I- I can't move. He's on my lap." William sighed. "I'll get him, you just go downstairs and eat," William said as he picked Mao up and laid him on the bed. Mao snored softly his ears twitching.

"What the hell?" William muttered. He ignored it and left the room. He went and sat on the couch, reading a book, not noticing Clara's stare. "Dear?" She called out.

"Yes, Clara?" He responded. "Do you think it's okay if we allow Mao to stay with us, he's getting along pretty well with everyone." William closed his book and looked at Clara. "You'll have to ask them. Michael and Mao get along quite well. They'd make a nice couple.

Evan has taken a liking to Mao, but I'm not sure he'll get along with Elizabeth. She's young and she likes to get what she wants." Clara sighed. "Mao is… I can tell he has feelings for Michael and from what he's told me, Michael doesn't seem interested in a relationship. We'll just have to wait. I don't want my boy to be alone."

William hummed. "I'll take Mao to the Diner tomorrow see how he likes the animatronics." Clara smiled. "Well then, I'm not sure what we'll do about clothes. I know he isn't comfortable with things that are too feminine. And he's from a different time so his dressing style is completely different from ours."

"I'll give him some of my old clothes." Clara hummed. "I'll get ready for bed. I'll bring Evan to his room." Clara said.

Evan snuggled up into Mao's warmth, Clara smiling at the sight. She kissed Evan forehead. "Good night dear." Evan looked at Mao then at Clara. "Doesn't Mao get a kiss too?" Clara paused and smiled, kissing Mao's temple. Mao shifted, his ears twitching.

"Good night boys." She said as she left the room quietly closing the door. Evan held Fredbear close. "Please leave me alone tonight. Just for tonight please." He whispered. Mao opened his eyes for a moment, wrapping an arm around Evan.

"Sleep Evan…" He mumbled. Evan nodded and snuggled into Mao. He soon fell asleep.

Mao soon awoke only to still be in the darkness of Evan's room. The Foxy plush peeked it's head into the room from one of the doors. "The hell?" Mao muttered as he went over to the door and opened it. He turned back to see his body holding Evan. "Ah, so I'm in another one of these dreams." He mumbled as he looked down at the plush.

It waved at him. "Yeah, I see you, you little shit." He muttered. It ran down the hall, The Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Fredbear plush following behind. "Jesus this is weird." He muttered as he followed after it— Well them. "Where are we going?" He asked.

They led him over to the Fredbear animatronic. "Oh hellFuck this I'm going back." He turned around and the plushies attempted to stop him from leaving. He rolled his eyes. "I can step on you little shits—" They then formed into animatronics.

"Or you could do that." He said. "Just listen to us lad—" Mao placed a hand on his hip. "No. I'm— I'm not doing this shit today.

I want to enjoy myself. No." Foxy glanced away letting out something between a sigh and groan. "Come on, sweets, just listen please! We— We know you want to enjoy yourself but we're trying to warn you of what's going to happen!" Chica tried.

"No. No, fuck off."

"Language." Mao sent Freddy a look. "Me? Language?" Mao scoffed. "Fuck off. Every time I try to enjoy myself some shit like this happens.

So fuck all of you." Bonnie sighed. "We'll leave him alone for now. We'll be back though. Good night Mao." Mao could barely see or hear Foxy trying to protest before it all faded away. "Now I can sleep—" Then suddenly a loud beeping noise rang in his head. And before he knew it—

Mao fell off the bed waking up and yelling. "Ah, fuck!" He yelled. Evan who was getting dressed for school smiled sheepishly. "I forgot to turn off my alarm," Evan said as he unplugged the alarm clock. Mao sighed.

"Sorry about the whole swearing thing. It's normal." Evan waved it off. "Mikey curses a lot and Dad does too. It's okay." Mao stood up and stretched. "Where's the Foxy plush?"

Mao asked. "Oh. It's on the bed. Are you hungry? Mom made you breakfast since you missed dinner." Evan asked. Mao grabbed the plush.

"A little." Evan smiled. "Come on, we got a bit of time before mom takes me and Liz to school." He said as he opened the door and ran down the hall. Deja vu? A familiar pirate accent rang in his head.

Fuck off Foxy. He thought as he followed Evan, forcing himself to calm down before he panicked. He let out a sigh as he saw Evan grab a plate of waffles and heat it up in the microwave. He walked over to Evan and ruffled his hair making him laugh. "Thanks, kiddo." He said. Evan grinned.

"Come on, Evan! We have to go!" Clara yelled. Evan frowned and hugged Mao. "Bye Mao! I'll see you after school! And don't lose Foxy okay?"

Evan yelled as he let go of Mao and ran over to Clara and Elizabeth. "Mommy who's that?" Elizabeth asked as she looked at her mother. "I won't lose him!" Evan smiled and left the house. Mao only saw William. "Where's Michael?" He asked. "He's going to school today." Mao frowned his flattening. "Don't worry." William smiled.

"I'll keep you company."

This is going to be a very chaotic book
