Miles always assumed Miles Morales was safe. It was Spider-Man who had all the enemies. Miles was just a student at Brooklyn Visions Academy, and he was a good student at that. Only Ganke knew he was the new Spider-Man. Miles knew he could trust Ganke not to blabber.

Miles climbed into his dorm room. Ganke had gone home for the weekend. Miles chose to stay at the school for the weekend. He told his parents he had academic decathlon practice. However, the truth was, it was easier to sneak out of the school than the apartment. He just needed to wait until the school security team finished their rounds.

Miles took off his suit. He placed it in the box under his bed he always kept it in. He was happy Vision's Academy didn't do dorm checks that often. On the rare occasion; that someone was dumb enough to smoke weed in their dorm, they would search the dorms. Miles was lucky that they hadn't found his suit.

Miles put on a white shirt and pajama pants. He slipped on his slippers. Miles needed to use the restroom; that was impossible to do while suited up. He slowly opened his dorm door and walked down the hall. It didn't take long to get to the boy's bathroom.

He pushed the bathroom door open. He went to one of the stalls and used the restroom. Miles flushed before going to wash his hands. As he cleaned his hands, his spider senses started to go crazy. Miles looked around, but the bathroom was too dark. The lights barely worked.

Something hit Miles's head in the back, and he fell to the ground, the hit knocking him unconscious.

Miles's woke up with a pounding headache. He didn't know exactly where he was, but he assumed it was the trunk of a car. A bag was duck taped over his head. There was a small hole for him to breathe.

A cloth was fasted in his mouth as well. His wrist and ankles were duck taped together. He started to kick the trunk of the car. Miles didn't know who took him, but they had to know he was Spider-Man. Miles Morales didn't get kidnapped.

The car stopped. He heard footsteps, but the trunk of the car didn't open. "Hello, Jefferson," Wilson Fisk said. Miles kicked on the trunk door. Fisk was supposed to be in jail for multiple life sentences. Miles couldn't stick around to see what Fisk had planned.

"I'm sure you've seen the image I sent," Fisk said. "I'm going to make this quick. I'm not asking for much. I want all charges against me dropped; Spider-Man brought to me in chains too. If you meet my request, I will return your son to you. If not, I won't hesitate to kill him. You have till the end of the week."
