A/N
This won't be a true crossover of Twilight Princess. It will also be a combination of A Link to the Past, since I'm following the map layout of that game. I'll use TP Link and Kagome as the main characters, and there will be romance. Expect longer chapters as the story progresses.

After awakening from a terrifying vision of Hyrule's imminent clash with evil, Zelda traveled to the Sacred Meadow with a handful of her guards to the place where the Sword of Evil's Bane rested. Upon her arrival, she realized she was already too late.
A sinister man adorned in a violet tunic and cape, the one represented in her dream, stood further up the path with his hand outstretched toward the hilt of the blade. As she predicted, the barrier encasing the sacred weapon repelled him with a startling shock and burned his hand.
"By order of the Crown Princess of Hyrule, I command you to leave immediately!"
Her warning fell on deaf ears, and as such, her soldiers rushed in with their blades and spears drawn and rushed the intruder. He no more than glanced over his shoulder, revealing crimson eyes, alabaster skin and indigo hair, before turning his palm outstretched at the men.
Zelda gasped at the sight of the dark energy swirling around his palm before it ultimately threw her soldiers like rag dolls until they lay unmoving great distances away. And even as she summoned her spiritual powers to protect the Master Sword, even she failed as her spears of power deflected off him.
"No... How can this be?!"
The dark mage cackled at her failed attempt before returning his attention back to the blade. Without so much as a care in the world, he shattered it into many fragments, until nothing more than its tip remained lodged in the pedestal.
"With this out of the way, no one will stop me this time. Not even you, Princess Zelda..."
