Perks chose at start (with their description):
- Warranty (hidden): Congrats you won't permanently die when you're killed. Instead you'll be returned to your life just as you were... coward.
- Magic : It's magic. You're magical now, well done. Here's your medal
- Prodigious talent in rituals: Your a genius in rituals! Doesn't mean you aren't still a disappointment to your parents
- Ever-upgrading book on 'basic' rituals: A book that constantly gives you the basics of rituals at ever increasing levels... but it only increases in level when you learn everything on a level.
Drawbacks chosen at start (with thier description):
- Poor: You're poor. Good on you
- Orphan: People always underestimate how much parents do for you
- Asthmatic (severe): Asthma is tame compared to the levels of screwed your lungs are. You might actually die if you pushed yourself too far...
- Crippled leg: Welp, there goes a leg. Hope you didn't need it.
- Weak Immune system: Well... you got at least three decades before you are (probably) dead
- Bad eyesight (minor): Well, now you need glasses. Really it's not that bad... unless you're also poor, but even if you are it's not that bad.
Essence consumed & effects:
- 305 Bird (mostly pigeon) lung essences: - COMPLETE (no more benefits appear)- 'Treated' the asthma, significantly more efficient respiratory system, slight weight loss, very minor feather growth
- 192 Salamander Regeneration essences: Let me heal from the crippled leg, slight regeneration factor (paper cuts heal in a single day levels of regeneration)
- 13 Bat Immunity essences: Get sick a lot less often now.
- 62 troll liver essences: Give me a resistance to most poisons and toxins, make me harder to kill (specifics untested), let me stay awake longer(?)
