Never Alone:

Chapter One: Prologue:
Catherine Rollins didn't know what to expect when she got home from a mission temporarily. The Former Naval Beauty heard the news about Steve's husband, & she was crushed, as she heard from one of her sources. Her Ex, & Best Friend went through hell, he didn't need any more grief. "God, I hope I can get in touch with Danny, so he can help too", She thought to herself.
When she got to the McGarrett Household, & enters with the key, that Steve gave her. She found that nothing was touched, which was suspicious. She took out her gun, & had it ready, She called out to her former lover, "Steve ?", as she continues to investigate. Once, She has the bottom part of the house investigated, & cleared, The Ex-Five-O Member slowly went upstairs, & called out once more, "Steve ?", as she checked out every part of the upper part. When she enters the bedroom, The sight alone breaks her heart.
"Oh, Steve", She said, as she saw fresh tears trickling down her former lover's face. She reached out to comfort him, "Cath ?", He asked in amazement. He was glad to see her, cause he didn't want to be alone right now. "Shhhh, It's okay, Babe, I'm here, I'm right here", She took him into his arms, she hugged the fuck out of him, & comforted him too in the process. "I don't know what the hell what I am doing anymore", He sobbed out, as he held tighter to his best friend, & ex.
"I am so so sorry about Clark, He was such a hell of a man, There would be no one like him", She said in a soothing tone. The Five-O Commander gave a small smile, & thanked her. "I am all alone, I have no one left close by", He said sadly, as he thought about his current situation. Catherine told him right then, & there, that he was wrong.
"You are wrong, You have people who love you", The Beautiful Woman reassured him, & helped him into a sitting position. She continued on to say, "Your ohana will go through hell for you, Including me, You are never alone, McGarrett, Never alone". Steve knew she was right, But, Right now, All he wants to do is to get through the pain. "How did you finally get through Billy's death ?", He asked her, as he looked at her with the deepest pert of his soul.
"I had a wise friend to tell me to get back out there, & try again, Don't give up on love, It will be there for you again", She said, as she kissed him on the cheek. "Maybe", He said thoughtfully, as he was composing himself. "Trust me, I know", She said, as she puts a comforting hand on top of his. "How about some dinner ?, I will cook up a feast for two", It was a great offer, Too good to pass up, So , Steve nodded, & followed Catherine downstairs, so he can watch her cook.
After dinner, Catherine had her seal rested on the couch, while he was dozing off, The C.I.A. Agent called Danny up, & explained the situation. He told her not to hesitate to come over, & they can have dinner with him, & the kids. The Former Intelligence Offer thought it was the best medicine that can cure Steve's heart. They agreed that it should be casual, & the evening will be fun. They hung up, & the talk ended on a good note.
