Honestly this is the story that I have been thinking about doing after Season 5 Episode 2 but in a different interaction.
Marinette was in her room talking to Alya about her love for Adrien has caused her to become blind. Thus making Felix have access to give all the Miraculouses to Shadowmoth. Marinette said "You see! I can't get distracted by my love for Adrien. No more complicated plans, I can't make any more mistakes." Alya did poke fun for her to answer herself but Marinette gave her a mean glare. All of a sudden she gets a phone call from him but asks Alya to answer it and tell him that she's helping her parents downstairs.
Meanwhile a girl and her father were moving into Paris a few blocks from the school. After they finished unpacking all the boxes the father asked the daughter how she's feeling about the change. The girl responds "I don't mind the change cause I understand you can be needed anywhere else father. Shanghai was cool and all from where I was born and raised. But I feel like I am drawn to Paris for a greater reason." The father nodded in agreement and said "Glad you are open to new changes. I heard Paris has a really great school and is guarded by multiple heroes here". The girl laughed and said "Father, you taught me Kung Fu so I can take care of myself. Let me just unpack my stuff for the night & call it a night". The father said "Alright good night Fei".
The next morning in different parts of France, both girls got up and got dressed. Marinette wore a pink skirt, white shirt, black rocker low cut boots & a red beret with her hair in pigtails. Fei wore blue jeans, black and white short sleeve shirt, thin gold necklace with a small dragon design and white converse. She kept her hair in a ponytail with sunglasses on when she's out in the sun. Marinette just arrived at school to meet up with Alya a bit early before class starts. Alya was wearing a plaid yellow and black overall with a white shirt under it and yellow all stars.
Alya & Marinette were talking a bit about what happened last night. Marinette said "No Alya I'm sticking to my word. I'm no longer going to be crushing on Adrien". Alya pushed her glasses up and said "Whatever you say girl. I bet on you giving it a week". Marinette pushed Alya jokeful and said she'll prove her wrong and that she'll lose her money. All of a sudden they see a silver car come up and the door opens. Having the girls anticipate on who could it be since Kagami did apply to their school last year & Adrien isn't here yet.
It was Fei coming out of the car with her sunglasses over her eyes and black backpack. She said goodbye to her dad and he left. Marinette & Alya watched her going up the stairs to see her sit in the corner of the right staircase and be on her phone. Marinette shook her head over her fixation over the new girl. She asked "Who's that?". Alya looked at Marinette and said "I don't know but I'll look into her later on. Maybe since she's new she'll be in our class". Nino showed up to hug and kiss Alya out of nowhere before the girls could continue talking. Alya didn't notice that Marinette was staring at the new girl in a gaze.
It felt that Marinette was already invested in knowing her. Fei looked up, saw Marinette staring and Marinette turned away quickly. Fei smirked thinking 'She's cute. I think I would like to know her'. Marinette didn't understand what was going on with her at the moment. But she felt her cheeks blush a bit and heart racing a bit fast. She thought to herself 'What is going on with me? I've never felt this way for a girl cause I always saw them as friends. The only times I felt this way was for Adrien and Luka. No way I'm starting to-'. Before Marinette could finish her thoughts, Alya waved and greeted Adrien coming in.
Adrien is in his Gucci shirt, black pants & white shoes while Nino was fine with the clothes he normally wore. Adrien greeted Nino & Alya. While Adrien was leaning in to give Marinette a french greeting kiss. Marinette was caught off guard by this and moved back, smiled nervously and gave out her left hand as a handshake. Adrien did seem a bit disappointed but still shook her hand. Fei was watching a bit from the distance and noticed what happened. It made her interested to know what was going on with that girl.
Fei knew if they were dating they would kiss even if it was a crush you would do anything to have affection from someone. It doesn't seem that she likes him and maybe she could be bisexual or a lesbian like her. She decided she'll keep a close eye on this situation for a while. The school bell rang so Fei put up her phone and airpods in the case in her pockets. Fei went through the school doors to put herself in some distance from others so she could look at her schedule. Apparently she has English in the morning with this teacher named . She knows this school is smaller than her other school so she wouldn't be surprised that she would see the same teachers for a few years.
Marinette, Alya, Nino & Adrien were walking towards class but Marinette saw Fei out of the corner of her eye. Marinette told her friends that she will catch up, she just needs to tie her shoes cause they keep untangling randomly. Alya did tell Marinette to get different shoes but she likes the design of them. Alya shrugs and everyone goes to class. Once Marinette sees that there are a few people in the bottom floor since they are known to be rebellions. Luckily they weren't paying attention but Marinette did lie that her shoes were untied this time. She just got a bit curious about Fei looking at her schedule.
Marinette did hope they were in classes together so she and her could get closer. Marinette saw the girl's left side and checked out her whole body. She can see how attractive she can be to anyone, her body is fit like her and feels that she's drawn to her because she seems so mysterious. Tikki did tell Marinette that she shouldn't be late to class because of her being interested if this girl could be a distraction from Adrien. Marinette giggled a bit cause Tikki was reading the situation wrong cause that's not why Marinette was interested in her.
Marinette did quickly go up the stairs to get into class before the bell rang cause she has been late a few times. Marinette didn't notice that Fei noticed her going into class and knew she was staring at her but pretended to not put any attention into it. Marinette sat down next to Alya and Alya said "Girl so close to missing the bell again. You really need new shoes. One of these days you need to find time to go shopping". Marinette nodded & was going through her backpack to pull out her school supplies. Fei walked in and luckily not no one noticed so she sat in the back of the class where Kagami did sit until she decided to change classes to be closer to Adrien.
Once the class got settled down, Ms Bustier told her class that they had a new student that transferred a bit in the beginning of the school semester. She told the new girl to come down and Fei pushed her sunglasses up to her hair since she was inside. Everyone turned around to see Fei walking down the stairs to get in front of the class. Marinette felt herself tighten up a bit from seeing Fei going down the stairs but had to keep a cool response. Once Fei got to the front Ms Bustier said "Alright class this is Fei Wu. She came here from Shanghai so please make her feel at home. If you need any help with this class, you can always ask our class president, Marinette Dupain Cheng. Marinette please show yourself". Marinette raised her hand kinda shyly for some reason. Fei smiled and Marinette smiled with her cheeks blushing from embarrassment. Fei thanked everyone in class and went back to her seat. Ms Bustier said "Alright everyone turn to page 75". Everyone did as they were told but Marinette looked at Fei when she was going back to her seat. She looked at Marinette and smirked with a quick wink. Marinette blushed a bit but snapped herself out of it. Then again she was just so happy to finally know the new girl's name and thought her voice was so cute.
Alya said "Fei Wu.. now I know I heard that name before but can't remember where". Adrien turned around to the girls and said "A famous friend of mine told me he attended one of her martial arts tournaments. She's a black belt and earned so many trophies so the best advice is to stay away from her." Marinette looked confused and asked without sounding offended "Why do you say to stay away?". Adrien said "Ohh no no I don't mean you can't be friends with her. I mean don't get on her bad side cause she could hurt you". Marinette did seem annoyed and said "I get what you mean Adrien but we don't fully know her and we can't judge her. Not everyone will use their skills against anyone". Nino and Alya didn't say anything but Adrien apologized for not being clear on what he was trying to say. The group thought they weren't being loud cause they didn't raise their voices. There were others talking around the class but Fei did pay attention to the group of four especially Marinette looking like she was standing up for something or someone.
Whatever it was, Fei found Marinette's confidence to be hot on whatever she believed in. When class was over, Fei wanted to go up to Marinette to introduce herself but she was moving fast to get to her next class. Luckily during the day, both girls apparently were in the same English, PE, lunch & history classes together. Fei knew it wouldn't be like the films where you're magically in all the classes that your best friends or crush is in. Fei did try her best to get close to Marinette but figured it'll be best for her to do it when it's the best time. At lunch Fei was looking at her schedule and just being on her phone while eating. She wasn't too crazy about making friends the first day but maybe on the 2nd or 3rd day she'll try.
Marinette did notice Fei was sitting alone at lunch and wanted to go over but some of her friends were concerned about the new girl. She knows they are open to new people but this time they were having doubts for no reason. Marinette understood the whole mysterious vibes can bother others. Kagami was different because she wasn't known for any titles and was willing to know her & Adrien's friends when it was time. Sure what Marinette did to Kagami at first was bad but she made it up to her. She knows this time she won't make the same mistake again especially if Fei's brown serious eyes are such an eye catcher to her. After the whole day Marinette had to get home and be alone to sort out her feelings. Fei went straight home after school since her dad will be at work all day. Besides she's fine walking home cause she can defend herself.
Fei could have stopped Marinette today and introduced herself but she saw her run like it was a dire emergency. Once Marinette got home, she did unpack her stuff but she changed to her normal clothes and laid in bed. All she could think about is Fei but trying to understand why this is the only girl out of all of her cute female friends she has. She thought to herself 'Yeah Kagami, Aurora, Juleka and Lila are cute but I don't have any romantic feelings towards them. Is it because this time since I'm trying to move on from Adrien that I'm just throwing myself now at any cute person I see?" Marinette covered her face with her hands and groaned but told Tikki she didn't want to talk about it until she was ready. Before going, she did see Fei walk the opposite way of her path and could have transformed into Ladybug to greet her. But she figured it would be very weird that a superhero was happy to see this new girl who came the same day and decided to give her some space.
Fei knew her first day was alright but she knows there are other days to get close to that girl Marinette. Fei did have a bit of homework to do since she was a bit behind in the class assignments but she knows she can get it done tomorrow so she started on it. She knows she could pretend to not know some things and have Marinette teach her as a tutor to spend time with her. But she would only do it if she really doesn't understand the assignment.
The next morning, Marinette put some cold water on her face to wake up after fantasizing about Fei in certain scenarios. She decided to go in her normal clothes which was her designed shirt, black blazer, pink pants and ballerina shoes. Fei put on a black shirt, blue shorts knee length, and red sneakers. Both girls did get to school at the same time but Fei went to the same spot she was at yesterday. Marinette decided to get the courage to go up and introduce herself to Fei but Alya called her out. Fei did smile at the girls hugging and found the friendship to be nice.
The trio was waiting for that blonde friend of theirs and when he arrived they had the same scenario. Except this time it was different, when Marinette gave out her left hand to shake that Alya girl pushed it down but Marinette did her right hand instead. After the handshake, Alya looked disappointed with a facepalm. Thus making Fei question their friendship cause if Marinette didn't want a greeting kiss from a boy then it's understandable. Fei decided to leave the steps to go inside cause she didn't want to see it anymore. Marinette did notice Fei leave and wanted to know what Alya did probably offended her. Marinette excused herself from the group to find Fei but the bell rang meaning it was time for class. The day went the same as yesterday but Fei decided to walk to a motorcycle shop to get one. She has no issue with walking but a motorcycle can help get to places faster unless she received some big power to help her with that. Marinette wondered if she could have done anything to know what was going on with Fei from this at lunch Marinette could have excused herself to go up to Fei to fully introduce herself but so many students needed help with their requests.
It was Wednesday, almost the end of week one of Fei being in town and Marinette was a bit disappointed that she never got the chance to get close to her. Marinette decided to wear a black overall and white shirt with pink converse and hair in a bun. Fei wore a red dragon shirt in Chinese words, black jeans and red converse. It's fall so the weather is nice but she wouldn't want to feel too hot in her leather jacket. Fei decided to sit down the staircase and just listened to her music for a bit. Marinette was walking to her normal spot in the mornings and saw Fei alone. She checked the time and noticed she has a few minutes before her group showed up.
Marinette took a deep breath and walked up to Fei who noticed from her eye that she was there. Fei took off her airpods, turned off her phone, stood up to meet Marinette's perspective and smiled. Marinette noticed she's a bit taller than her but height never mattered to her. Marinette said "Hi I'm Ma-ma-ma". Fei said "Marinette Dupain Cheng". Marinette looked shocked. She remembered her whole name but giggled and said "You can call me Marinette or Mari if you want. I know we didn't have time to introduce each other. But it's such an honor meeting you Fei Wu". Fei smiled and said "Fei is fine & since you're class president I mean you are busy for others". Marinette wanted to tell her that she can make time for her but got interrupted by Alya. Alya and Fei just did a quick Hi to each other since Fei isn't too close to other females.
Moments later the guys show up, the same greeting happened but before Marinette could move her hands. Alya forcefully grabbed them down and smiled like she knew Marinette would thank her for this. However Fei noticed that Alya had her eyes closed and saw that Marinette looked terrified. Fei couldn't take this anymore so she grabbed Marinette by her upper left arm to break out of Alya's grip. The friends looked confused, Marinette was blushing red from the sudden action and Fei said "This is for your own good!". She pulled Marinette into the girls bathroom inside the school while Alya was confused about what happened. Alya wanted to say something to Fei but nothing came out.
Luckily no one was in the stalls and Fei put Marinette against a wall. Marinette said "Fei What are y-?". Fei put her two hands next to Marinette's head in a sudden motion and said "I just wanted you to feel safe. I couldn't stand what that boy wanted to do to you because it made you uncomfortable". Marinette was still in shock that Fei, the new girl, noticed her feelings on this more than any of her friends the past 6 months. Marinette said "Oh you mean Adrien. Yeah I don't know what is wrong with him now. He wasn't like this weeks ago until I told him to stand up to his father. For Alya, not gonna lie to you. I have questioned our friendship from time to time but it's a long story". Fei was understanding things better in the situation. She nodded, put her right hand on Marinette's left cheek and said "I don't mind listening to you all day. You deserve to be heard from about this".
Marinette was just so in shock how this girl was willing to listen to everything she says without judging but care for her. She wanted to say something but was amazed on how Fei can change her perspective on things in less than a week. Marinette was just lost in Fei's beautiful eyes from changing into being emotionless to super soft. Fei for some reason felt that she needed to be closer to Marinette's face. Marinette noticed Fei closing onto her but she didn't mind and Marinette closed her eyes. She could feel her heart racing faster than before and lips trembling for even a peck from Fei's lips. During the talk she did look at her lips quickly and before Fei could land a quick one, the school bell rang. Both girls looked each other in the eyes, Fei stepped back realizing what she almost did and turned around.
Her and Marinette fixed their hair and pretended what almost happened didn't happen. Fei and Marinette were both blushing because they wanted to taste the other person's lips. Fei said "Well class president it's time for class. Let's go together to class on time or else others might think of something else". Marinette nodded and both walked in but went into their seats. Alya noticed that the two girls seem like good buddies now which made her become concerned. Alya asked "Marinette why didn't you stop Fei from taking you? She could have tried to do something bad to you based on how she grabbed you with such strength". Marinette said "I figured it was the best time to introduce myself since I'm class president and it is my responsibility to make others feel safe. Nothing to worry about Alya besides I need to help her today after school. Besides you & Nino haven't had time together to go on dates". Alya put her right hand on her chin to think about it and said "True and sorry girl for jumping to that conclusion. It's just she's so brooding, she likes sitting alone, hardly shows emotion, is mysterious and is great in martial arts. But if you can get through her and be her friend then be my guest". Marinette thanked Alya for understanding but will have to deal with Adrien later. Once class started, Marinette and Fei looked at each other and felt their hearts skip a beat. During lunch, Marinette told the girls she couldn't sit with them because as class president she needed to get to know Fei as a classmate.
Marinette said "So Fei I was wondering after today if you want to hang out". Fei responded, "I can't. I have to practice my martial arts and have some errands to run. But we can text each other if you want". Marinette was happy to hear that and both girls exchanged numbers. At the end of the day, the girls said goodbye to each other but on the way home. Fei and Marinette couldn't stop smiling about each other. Later that night while Fei was cleaning her motorcycle for tomorrow, Marinette texted 'Fei I wish we could have time to hang out so I was wondering if this Saturday we can go to the museum? Since you're new here in Paris". Fei smiled at the thought of them two together on a date and responded jokely "Are you asking me out on a date Mari? I thought you were into boys ;)". Marinette felt her cheeks become warm again because she has been dealing with these new feelings and is trying to discover herself. She responded "Umm no .. I.. I just want us to get to know each other better haha.. I mean I like boys but I need to put those feelings away from them. I've been going through some tough times'. Fei laughed at her response but she finds her funny side to be amusing and does want to make her feel better. Both girls then agreed to go together Saturday as "friends" and do a tour in Paris if they could squeeze it in. For once Marinette went to sleep feeling peaceful and thought she found the right person to get her mind off things.
I know this is long for a first chapter but I did want a bit of the episode out of the way before starting on the next one. I will think about how this story goes and try to write down as much as I can.
