It was early-morning as Rocket snuck into Casey's room, as it was the morning of his little one's birthday and she was turning three years old, a big deal for him since that fateful night when he'd found her near a trash can but had planned this for a few weeks with help from not just Groot but also Ranger and Riley along with Thor so right now he was putting up decorations being careful not to wake Casey up, he wanted it to be a surprise putting up streamers and balloons knowing Casey would love this when she awoke which could be soon, admiringhis work leaving her room making himself coffee as he needed to be mentally alert which Lylla his soulmate get, asking if the birthday girl was up yet seeing him shaking his furry head.
"Nope not yet, she will soon though, when she smells the pancakes." he said.
Lylla grinned knowing Casey had a sweet fang, so it wouldn't be long before his little girl was up, hearing excitement and giggling guessing his hunch was right hearing footsteps seeing Casey in her pyjamas with her Groot stuffie in her brown-furred arms, knowing what today was smiling sitting at the table excited seeing pancakes going over using her super-speed power to get to the fridge finding the condiments they used when it came to pancakes especially chocolate syrup makijg Rocket grin at the edible art she was creating because it was sweet knowing she was going to need an nap later before the party which Casey was lookijg forward to, she'd never had a birthday party before because in the past, Rocket just had a celebration with just her, him and Lylla, because she wouldn't know what a party was but now she did, he decided it was time to throw her an actual party which would be awesome.
"Holy crutack, I forgot to get her a gift and I'm her dad," Rocket said.
"Relax, I'm sure you'll come up with something, the toy store is open." Lylla assured.
He frowned at his soulmate's suggestion as he had a feeling the others had did this but had an idea as Casey always watched the other kids on their bikes, giving him an idea to make her a trike until she was ready for a bike like the big kids had goijg to the tech-lab makijg Casey wonder what her dad was up to seeing Lylla grin saying she had to wait and see which she was okay with after cleaning up from her artistic breakfast going to get dressed like a big kit, which Lylla thought should be intresting and would help her if she needed it.
She ran into her bedroom putting her Groot stuffie on her pillow running to her dresser pullijg out armour like her dad's making her proud of herself excited about the day's events stretching and deciding to play with her Lego Duplo blocks, as the adults including her dad were busy so was having fun which made the time fly seeing Lylla enter her room, saying it was nap time surprising her, going to where her books were especially her favourite storybook involving a little raccoon with a big question for his mom, even though her dad frowned when she asked for it not understanding why.
"I know what your favourite book is, your daddy told me plus you're excited about the party but you have to nap." she told her reading as Casey was on her lap with her Groot stuffie in her furry arms relaxing yawning making Lylla grin as it was sweet kissing her nose just like Rocket seeing her out like a light, leaving her room going to check on the party seeing Hulk hoisting up a pinata ,which would be awesome staring over at the playden seeing Linda and Shocket, who were Casey's cousins noticing Shocket annoyed she wanted to play with the pinata but Rocket had said no and they had to wait for her sis to wake up which Irritated her.
"She better wake up soon or else-" Shocket said getting one of her ideas which made Linda worried knowing what that look meant, she was taking things into her own paws as they escaped the playden which was easy because the adults were busy sneaking inside, Linda following wondering what she was goijg to do with the bullhorn.
"Shockie this might not be your best idea, Casey's not done with her nap." Linda said.
They were standing outside Casey's bedroom door and Shocket had a bullhorn she had swiped before going inside, only Linda was not stickijg around, she knew Casey would het upset then her powers would activate, hearing the bullhorn, an upset angry Casey and a freaked-out Shocket running into Rocket, with an angry look on his furry face entering seeing Casey created a shield around Shocket becoming upset understanding seeing the bullhorn in Shocket's paw guessing what she'd did with it.
"Real mature Shockie, you had to flip your sis out now the party will have to wait longer so Casey can finish her nap, after I calm her." he told her makijg Shocket frown as she hated waiting like her dad only right now, she was not his favourite kit right now vamoosing after Casey calmed down feelijg tears fall down her furry little cheeks makijg him frown.
" Sorry, Shocket woke me with the bullhorn." she said.
"It's alright, but everything will be okay but uncle Howard should teach your sis better, like mommy and me teach you that you have to be patient." he told Casey.
A while later, she was awake and in the mood to party making everybody excited seeing Casey looking for Shocket as she wanted to know why she had woken her up using the bullhorn finding her sister with Linda going over, astounding Shocket guessing she wanted to get revenge seeing Linda roll her eyes.
"I just wanted to know, why you woke me with the bullhorn." Casey told her.
"I wanted to play with the pinata but dad said I had to wait until you woke up, so I wanted to wake you so I could." Shocket replied seeing Casey quiet instead of being mad which surprised her.
"Well now we can, mommy Lylla and daddy won't mind." Casey said.
Shocket was surprised at how kind her sister was being to her, seeing her scampering over to her dad pointing at Shocket and the pinata, seeing him nod in reply even though Shocket had did something not nice to her, she wanted to show her kindness seeing him grin seeing Shocket excitedly join her along with Linda impressed by Casey's kindness seeing Shocket giggling, as she was hitting the pinata giggling makijg Rocket understand seeing her happier instead of beijg grumpy or getting into trouble.
"T-thanks sis even though I was mean to you." Shocket said.
"No problem, I knew you didn't mean it.":Casey replied to her.
"I knew you could do it." Linda whispered to Shocket making Casey confused, why was that a big deal for her sister hearing Linda tell her, normally her dad let Shocket get away with her mischief so seeing her feel remorseful surprised her.
"Ohhh I guess uncle Howard should teach her better." Casey told her seeing Linda sigh.
