it's a nice sunny in the east blue. the sun is out. the birds are singing. everything is going peacefully.

on a marine base island a few marine soldiers lay on the ground, passed out by the looks of it. a few more soldiers roared out from the top of their lungs with wooden swords in hand.

just like that the sword wilding marines got a few punches in on them before being sent to a wall.

dame it. we lost again to the kid said one of the down marines.

what you expect from vice admiral Garp's grandson? asked the other.

who'd ever expect to lose to a 7 year old kid with a blindfold on him? asked another marine.

you fight well soldiers. but i'm still a winner said the young boy as he takes off the blindfold. the boy is a young 7 year old. he wears a marine outfit along with a smile on his face.

the boys name..., is monkey D Luffy.

boy Luffy, your really strong. your just like your grandpa said one of the soldiers.

i hope you make it to fleet admiral soon Luf said another one.

jeez thanks guys said Luffy with a smile.

looks like your having fun as always Luffy said Luffy's grandfather monkey D Garp.

yep said Luffy to his grandfather.

seeing that today is your 7th birthday. i thought about giving you a powerful gift said Garp with a gift in his left hand.

what is it? asked Luffy getting excited.

open it to find out said Garp with a smile.

just like that Luffy pens his gift to see what it is. after opening it Luffy's eyes widened.

grandpa. where did you find this? asked Luffy in shock.

found it next to a dead body. thought he didn't need it anymore.

you found a devil fruit next to a body? asked Luffy surprised.

yep said Garp with a smile.

so. which is this one? asked Luffy.

it's a Logia type, called the clay clay fruit said Garp.

so. i can turn into clay? asked Luffy.

even better. you can turn into all types of clay. with the right training. you can change your shape and size to said Garp.

you mean, i can become the size of a giant of Elbaf?! asked Luffy excited.

bigger then that as well said Garp to Luffy.

just like that Luffy ate the fruit all up.

great. now then. time for the real training to begin said Garp.

as days pass Luffy got stronger and stronger. as weeks and months gone by Luffy was training both mind and body even harder. when years go by Luffy learned the three forms of haki.

after Luffy turned 17. it was time for Luffy to leave the base to find a strong marine crew.

Luffy is wearing a white vest with the marine logo on the front, and the words true justice on the back of said vest. black pants. and black combat boots. as well a backpack full of books of things Luffy will need.

Luffy was heading to his small marine ship.

the small ship is big enough to hold five people.

as Luffy walked to his first ship as a marine who's first rank as a true marine is petty officer. he stopped a little to see his friends saluting to him.

he may be a petty officer right now. but he'll make a great name for himself someday.

as Luffy set sail's away from the island he puts some books that tell how to use the six power master skills in his cabin for until he get's a crew.

i wonder how many members i'll get before becoming fleet admiral said Luffy to himself.
