I'm really sorry about the bad formatting on the last chapter. I tried to fix it, but FF was being dumb and it wouldn't let me. Hopefully it doesn't get messed up this time!

"Welcome to my humble abode!" Steve said, as he swung the door open.

Loki and Tony looked around.

"That's it?!" Tony exclaimed, a little frustrated.

The walls were a faded yellow color. There was a bunk bed on the far wall, with a window with no curtains at the foot. On the left wall was a cot and on the right wall was a grey desk. All the beds had grey comforters and a single pillow with an off white pillowcase on it.

"I get the bottom bunk!" Tony said, as he ran into the room and flopped down on the bed. Steve and Loki walked in at a more leisurely pace.

"Well," Loki said, looking around the room. "I guess I get the top bunk since it looks like the other two beds are taken."

Loki climbed onto his bed and sat down. Steve went and pulled a backpack out from under his bed.

"Sorry, I forgot to unpack last night."

Loki and Tony stared at him. And then he realised.

"Where is your stuff?"

"Well, mine was confiscated for examination. Apparently I had questionable things in my bag." Tony said sarcastically.

Steve shook his head, already getting used to Tony's sassy personality.

"What about you Loki?"

"Well," Loki said slowly "I wasn't really allowed time to pack, so I didn't bring anything except what I had in my pockets."

"Dang bro that sucks." Tony said.

"Bro?" Loki asked, looking at Tony from the upper bunk. "I am not your brother."

"No, not like that. When you call someone "bro" you're calling them a friend."

The look Steve and Loki gave Tony the answer he needed.

"I'm gonna have to introduce you to proper teenage slang at a later time. Right now, I would like to get my stuff back."

"Good idea" Steve agreed. The boys got off their beds and walked out of the room.

"Wait, so you don't have anything?" Steve asked Loki. They were waiting along the back wall of the room while Tony waited in line for his stuff. Loki nodded at Steve's question.

"Not with me."

"No changes of clothes, no toothbrush, nothing?"

"Nope. I didn't have much time to gather anything. My brother walked into my room and told me we were leaving in 5 minutes. He didn't say where. Next thing I knew I was here."

"You have a brother?"

"Yes. His name is Thor."

"Named after the Norse god I assume?"

The confused look on Loki's face made Steve change the subject.

"That's so cool you have a brother. I am an only child, but my best friend Bucky is really close so it feels like he is my brother. Do you have a best friend?"

"Well, my brother has lots of friends, and I hang out with them a lot, so I guess they are my friends too."

Just then Tony walked up with his backpack slung over one shoulder.

"I got it! Apparently carbon dioxide is considered an 'unnecessary and not allowed item.'" He said, making air quotations.

"Ya think?!" Steve exclaimed. He had only known Tony for a few hours, and was already annoyed with his continual sarcastic remarks.

Tony rolled his eyes.

"Come on guys, it's getting late. Let's grab some supper and then head back to our room."

"Good idea" Steve said, Loki nodded his head in agreement.

"Here Loki, I have an extra pair of sweatpants you can borrow if you want." Tony said, holding out the grey pants to Loki.

Loki looked at them hesitantly.

"Thanks."

"And I have a T-shirt. It might be a bit short since you are so much taller than me but it'll be better than nothing, right?" Steve said with a chuckle.

Loki smiled at his new friends and went into the bathroom to change. When he came out the pants looked too big on him, but also too short and the shirt looked like a crop top.

Steve looked at him.

"Hey, it's better than nothing. Also, I hope you don't mind but I had an extra pillow I put on your bed along with some other essentials that I had extras of."

Loki looked at his bed. There was a small bag with toothpaste, a toothbrush, a pair of socks, earplugs, and some lotion.

"There is one thing that apparently all of us forgot to bring, a comb. But we can get that later. Although if anybody needs a comb it's you, since you have such long hair." Steve said with a chuckle.

"Yeah!" Tony said "You do have awesome hair! Not as good as mine though. Yours looks like a lion's mane, but it's black and greasy and curly. So not quite like a lion's mane but you get the idea."

"Hey, you know who's hair did look like a lion's mane?" Steve responded. "That blond guy we saw today. Not only did he have a lion's mane, he was built like a lion. "

"That reminds me of my brother," Loki said. "He's almost the exact opposite of me."

Steve turned to face him

"Wait, did your brother check you this morning?"

"Yes, he did." Loki replied "Why do you ask?"

"I think we saw you in line today while we were getting our lanyards. Speaking of, do you have yours?"

"Yes. My brother called ahead so it was ready when I got there. "

A muffled sound was heard coming from Tony's bed. Tony was stretched out on the mattress with his entire body under the blanket.

"Can we please go to bed? I have had a long day and would like some sleep."

"Good idea" Steve said, nodding.

The boys got onto their beds and tucked themselves in. It was quiet for a few minutes before Steve realised something was wrong.

"The light is still on. Who is going to turn it off?"

"Well, Tony is asleep." Loki pointed out.

"And I don't want to get out of my blankets."

"Me either."

"Let's just go to sleep with the lights on." Steve said

"Good idea. " Loki pulled the covers up to his neck with only his head sticking out.

"Goodnight Loki." Steve said from the cot.

Slowly, Steve fell asleep. Loki was almost asleep when he let his arm out of the covers. With a wave of green light, the light switch flipped, leaving the 3 boys to sleep in the darkness.
