Jaune and Courage the Cowardly Dog

Chapter 101: Epilogue

Eight Years Later

Jaune and Iris's Private Domain

"Ow. Okay, that was the wrong target, Gail. But still, nice try." I said, smiling as I stood up after Gail's powers accidentally knocked me down. However, I had to dive to the floor again to avoid getting hit by Jacob's electrical attack. But because I was focused on dodging that attack, I ended up getting wet from Adam's water attack.

It was eight years since Iris and I had gotten married. And in that time, a lot had happened. We met the mystery gang, found the secret of Nowhere, and watched my friends graduate and get married, among a handful of other events. But the most meaningful moment was when Iris announced that she was pregnant. Upon hearing this, I became ecstatic and could barely control myself. And when Iris's parents learned about this, they gave us a private domain. But to our even surprise, we learned that Iris was having triplets, and each one had an elemental power.

"Are you okay, honey?" Iris asked as she helped me up and gave me a towel.

"I'm fine." I answered before kissing her.

"Ew. Gross." Adam, Gail, and Jacob said, causing us to chuckle.

Adam was our son, and he was able to control water. He had orange hair and blue eyes, just like Iris. And just like his beautiful mother, he was full of expression and joy. Jacob, on the other hand, resembled me and had electricity powers. He had blue eyes and short golden hair. Jacob also had a big heart, full of emotions but was also extremely clever. Lastly was Gail. She was our only daughter and had the power to control the wind. Gail had her mother's bright orange, wavy hair and blue eyes. However, unlike both of us, she was extraordinarily mischievous and loved to pull pranks.

"Sorry." Iris and I said, chuckling.

"Anway, is it time?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's time." Iris answered.

"Okay, you heard your mother. Go to your rooms and get ready so we can take you to Grandma."

"YES! GRANDMA!" They shouted before rushing to their rooms.

"Ah, kids. I love them." I said, chuckling.

"And I love you." Iris said before pulling me into a kiss.

"I love you, Iris."

"And I love you, Jaune."

"Okay. We're ready." Our kids shouted as they returned.

"Okay then. Let's go visit grandma." I said as we grabbed hands.

Nowhere

Home that Jaune built

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Come in." A voice said. Unlocking the door, we entered the housed and made our way to the living room, where we saw Courage sitting on Muriel's lap as they watched television.

"Hey, mom." I said.

"Hey, Mom." Iris said, smiling.

"Hi, my sweet children." Muriel said, getting up from her seat.

'Hey, guys.' Courage said, smiling.

"Hey, Courage. Good to see you." I said as we fist/paw bumped.

"GRANDMA!" Our children shouted before running over to them.

"Ah, I do miss my grandchildren." Muriel said, hugging them.

"Thanks for agreeing to watch over them while we go out, mom." I said.

"It's no trouble, dearie. I love spending time with them."

"Where's Eustace?" Iris asked, noticing a distinct lack of grumbling.

"Oh, he's out in town for a while and won't be back until the day after tomorrow." Muriel answered.

"That's good." I said as I didn't like having Eustace around our kids. "Anway, thanks again, mom. We'll be back tomorrow to pick them up."

'Have fun, you two.' Courage said, smiling.

"And don't forget to put lots of vinegar in their food." Iris said, causing our children's eyes to widen.

"I will." Muriel said, smirking. Chuckling, we exited the house and headed toward our destination.

Nowhere Cliff

"It's beautiful." Iris said as we watched the sunset over the horizon.

"But not as beautiful as you, love." I said, smiling as we leaned into the tree.

"Even after all these years, you're still such a charmer." Iris said before leaning in to kiss me.

"And you like it." I countered before pulling her into a hug and deepening the kiss.

If you had told me years ago that not only would I have a loving family but a beautiful wife and kids, I would have laughed in your face. Yet, here I am on a romantic date with the beautiful storm goddess that I now call my lovely wife, Iris. And not only that, but we have three beautiful, wonderful kids that fill me with joy every time I see them. Honestly, it was nothing short of a miracle that this happened, but I'm not complaining. I will treasure every moment of my life with them and try my hardest to make my wife, Iris, and my kids the happiest people in both the heavens and on earth.

"I love you, Jaune." Iris said as we pulled apart.

"And I love you, Iris." I said as she laid her head on my chest. Smiling, I kissed her forehead before closing my eyes and taking a small nap, with Iris doing the same. And even though we were two separate beings, our dreams were the same. Enjoying time with each other and wondering what the future would hold for us. But we knew that whatever happened, we would face it together as a family and have the support of our friends and families.
