Warzone of Dreams Chapter 3: Lifestyles of the Recently Rich and Famous

It's the morning of Sunday, August 30th. We begin this episode in South Park Hills, more specifically, the new home of Stan, Lyra, Bebe, Felix, Isabella, and Matthew. With the money Stan won in the lottery, and the investments he made in the stock market from the advice of a co-worker's brother who works on Wall Street, he was able to buy one of the best villas in the neighborhood.

Stan, Bebe, and Matthew are seen inside of the new villa, with the former two making any finishing touches before their friends and family arrive to check out the new home, and Matthew playing in his playpen. Meanwhile, Lyra, Felix, and Isabella are walking about their new neighborhood to do some sight seeing.

"Man," Felix said as he looked at the affluent neighborhood around him, "I never thought I'd be walking the streets of South Park Hills, let alone live here."

"I really hope our neighbors are nice," Isabella said, "I heard rumors about how rude and snobby rich people are."

"That's just poor stereotyping," Lyra said.

"You guys wanna go door to door introducing ourselves?" Felix said excitedly.

"And risk getting kidnapped," Lyra asked, "We don't know this neighborhood that well, Felix. Besides it's not the 50s anymore, nobody goes door to door to introduce themselves, and no neighbor goes up to the new guys on the block with baked goods these days."

"I would," Felix said deflated.

As the trio continued walking the swanky streets of South Park Hills, they came across a house that was definitely different from all of the other ones. Compared to the mansions and villas that this neighborhood had, this house was just a regular log cabin with a fence built around it. In the front yard was a type of scarecrow wearing black armor. In the backyard, it looked like there was some kind of farm where various crops were growing.

"What's the deal here?" Felix asked.

"I never thought a farm with a log cabin would be featured in this neighborhood of all places," Isabella said.

"Who do you think lives here?" Felix asked.

"I can tell you," came a rather snobby voice. The trio looked to see one of the neighborhood kids, and he certainly dressed like a rich kid.

"And you are?" Lyra asked.

"I don't give my name to any new riff-raff that wanders into our neck of the woods," the rich kid said rudely, "But I will tell you who lives in this rustic abode. A man who goes by the name of Nox. Apparently he was the only surviving brother of that oaf who went on a rampage back in the 90s. After his brother disappeared, Nox just appeared in this fine neighborhood of ours. But he doesn't really come out to socialize. Come to think of it, I don't think he's left his little cabin since the 90s. He's either toying around with that stupid farm of his or sitting on his porch and watching the world go by. People wonder why he never leaves his home, but we all think it's because he has an agenda."

"What kind of agenda?" Isabella asked.

"Some say he's plotting to avenge his unrepentant brother and finish the genocidal crusade that he started," the rich kid said, "Others think he's just a serial killer who only leaves his home at night, when the rest of the world is asleep. The rest just dismiss him as a boogeyman type character who lures children just like you and me into his cabin so he can chop them up and use their remains to fertilize his farm."

During that last bit, the rich kid's tone of voice darkened and he made hand gestures like he was about to grab something, causing a scared Isabella to hide behind Felix and Lyra for protection.

"None of that is true," Lyra said annoyed, "You're just trying to scare us."

"You don't believe me, eh?" the rich kid said with a cocky smirk, "If you doubt my stories, then why don't you wander into Nox's yard yourself and see what happens to you."

"I'm not about to trespass onto someone else's property just to appease you, brat!" Lyra said.

"I knew it, you're scared," the rich kid laughed much to the trio's annoyance, "Well, I must be off now. I've spent too much time talking to the likes of you three. Farewell, and remember, beware of Nox!"

The rich kid walked off as Lyra, Felix, and Isabella went back to looking at the cabin.

"Told you folks around here would be snobby," Isabella told Lyra.

"That was just one person out of the whole lot that lives here." Lyra responded.

"You don't think that guy was serious was he?" Felix said nervously.

"Obviously not," Lyra said, "He's probably the neighborhood bully looking to scare us."

"Either way I don't really want to hang around in front of this cabin any longer than I already have," Felix said.

"Yeah, I guess we should head back and see if dad or Mrs. Broflovski need any help before our guests arrive," Lyra said.

"Yeah, let's get out of here," Isabella said.

As the trio walked off, someone from inside the cabin was watching them through the front window. He had pulled the curtain aside to get a better look at them. As soon as they walked away, the man closed the curtain and went off elsewhere.

Later in the day, Stan, Lyra, and Bebe and her kids have finished straightening up and furnishing their new villa. They looked over their work in the living room, which had a couch, a love seat, a couple of recliners for Stan and Bebe and bean bag chairs for the kids, a rectangle coffee table, some small side tables next to the recliners, a 72 inch T.V on the wall, and a fireplace with a mantle that contained an assortment of photos, knick-knacks, and a small urn containing the ashes of Bebe's pet cat Thumper. The living room has hardwood floors and walls are painted a light gray.

"We did good, gang," Stan said proudly.

"I can't wait until our friends and family see our new place," Bebe said.

As they continued to admire their work, there was a sudden ring at the doorbell that brought them back to reality. Stan went to the front door, opened it and saw nobody there. He looked down and saw, sitting in a tray, a cake with white frosting, sprinkles, and in blue lettering was a message that read 'Welcome to the Neighborhood.' Stan picked up the cake and brought it into the kitchen.

The villa's kitchen also had hardwood floors that matched the living room and the walls, draws, and cabinets were painted white. The cabinets and shelves contained all of the pots, pans, utensils, and cooking/baking ingredients The Marshes and Broflovskis would ever need. In the middle of the kitchen was a built-in island with a marble countertop, and hanging above the island was a pot rack that had the main pots and pans that Stan and Bebe would be using whenever they cooked. Other features the kitchen has include a microwave, an oven, a toaster oven, a waffle maker, a knife rack, a stainless steel refrigerator/freezer combo, and a walk-in pantry that had an assortment of snacks, bread, and bagels.

Stan placed the cake on the kitchen island and called everyone over.

"Hey, guys, come on in here," Stan called causing his daughter, Bebe, and her kids to enter the kitchen.

"What's up, Stan?" Bebe asked.

"Somebody left us a cake," Stan said.

"There's a note attached to the tray," Isabella said, "What's it say?"

Stan took the note and read it aloud, "Just a little something to welcome you to the neighborhood - Nox."

Felix got nervous when it was revealed who sent them the cake.

"Are you sure that cake is safe?" Felix asked, "I mean, we just walked by this Nox guy's house earlier today and it looked kind of shady to me."

"It was just a log cabin, Felix, don't make a big deal out of it," Isabella said.

"A log cabin in the middle of a ritzy neighborhood," Felix corrected, "Doesn't that seem a little suspicious?"

"If you're that nervous, Felix, one of us could test it out for you," Lyra said, "Dad, would you like to do the honors?"

"Gladly," Stan said as he took out some plates, forks, and a cake cutting knife. Stan cut himself a piece and placed it on his plate for observation. The flavor was revealed to be a decadent chocolate.

"Looks okay," Stan said as he then moved to smell the slice, "Smells okay. Tastes…"

Stan grabbed his fork and took a bite out of his piece of cake. Upon doing so his eyes widened and a smile appears across his face, "Amazing!" he exclaimed.

"Whoa, really?" Bebe asked.

"Yeah," Stan said as he gobbled up the rest of his slice in a flash before giving everyone else a piece, "It's a perfectly fine piece of cake. Eat up, everyone!"

Bebe, Lyra, and Isabella each took and ate their piece of cake. Even Matthew had a tiny slice that Bebe fed him. Felix however, was hesitant.

"I still don't know," Felix said, "If you guys don't drop dead or start trippin' balls in the next hour, maybe I'll consider helping myself to a slice of cake."

"Suit yourself," Lyra said with a mouthful of cake.

One cake break and a quick dish washing session later, the door bell rings yet again. This time when Stan and Bebe go to answer it, they are greeted by a crowd that consists of The McCormicks, Karen, Firkle, Penny, The Donovans, The Tweaks, The Tuckers, The Stotches, The Oppenheimers, The Powers, The Smiths, Junior, Shelly, Randy, Sharon, Helen, Jeffrey, Gary, Valarie, Gerald, Shiela, and Ike.

"Come on in, everybody," Stan said as the crowd piled inside and entered the living room.

"Now this is where it's at!" Clyde exclaimed.

"Yeah, Stan, nice place!" Sally concurred.

"Thanks," Stan said.

"So, Lyra, Felix," Mimi said, "How are you liking your new digs?"

"We're loving it, Mimi," Lyra said.

"Wow Stan," Shelly said looking, "This living room looks like something out of a Better Home and Gardens catalog."

"This is a Grade A abode," Cody concurred.

"And if you think the living room looks nice, wait until you see the other rooms," Bebe said, "How about we show you the kitchen?

"And from there we can give you all a tour of the place," Stan chimed in.

Everybody agreed with Bebe and Stan as the duo guided everyone into the kitchen.

"Here's the kitchen," Stan said as he showed it off.

"Wow, very nice, Stan." Sharon said.

"Thanks mom," Stan smiled.

"No way, you guys have a kitchen island and a hanging pot rack!" Millie exclaimed.

"Sounds like someone's a little jealous," Bebe teased.

"We also have a walk-in pantry," Lyra said as she looked to see her cousin Junior already looking through it.

"Oh man," Junior said as he looked around the pantry, "Twinkies, Cocoa Puffs, Gushers, Cheez-Its, Lays, Oreos! It's like I died and went to Snack Heaven!"

"Junior, get out of there!" Shelly scolded as Junior walked out a little embarrassed.

"Shelly it's okay," Stan said, "He's just exploring."

"This kitchen is off the charts," Sid said.

"Thank you," came an automated voice. Sid turned around and looked at the stainless refrigerator/freezer, and he realized that it was the one who thanked him.

"Whoa, a talking fridge!" Sid said in amazement.

"Oh yeah," Stan said, "We got one of those new Smart Refrigerators. We call him Chilly Crystal, you know after Billy Crystal."

"Yeah, we got it," Ursula said, unamused by the pun.

"Tell everyone what you can do, Chilly?" Stan said.

"Gladly," the refrigerator said, "On top of doing everything that a normal refrigerator can do, my ice machine/water dispenser is voice activated and I always know exactly how much ice or water I should give thanks to the cameras that I have. On the subject of cameras, I also have some inside of me so that you can see exactly what food or beverages you currently have without opening my doors and wasting power. The image of the food inside of me is displayed on my screen."

"Talk about cutting edge," Tweek said.

"With this screen, I can also give you the time, date, and weather, play music, act as a makeshift T.V, leave notes, and save all of your favorite recipes." The refrigerator said, much to everyone's awe.

"This just might be the coolest refrigerator I've ever seen?" Odette said.

"That statement," The refrigerator said, "Was that pun in it intended or not intended?"

"Can it be both?" Odette said.

"It was great meeting you, Chilly," Red said.

"It's very nice to meet you all too," The refrigerator said.

"I think we've seen enough of the kitchen," Bebe said, "What room do you guys want to see next?"

"How about this room here?" Chelsea said as she opened a door connecting to the dining room.

The dining room was a rather large one with maroon colored walls and, once again, hardwood floors. Beneath the long and large wood varnish table was a black rug to prevent scratching if said table should move. The table also has chairs with white cushions surrounding it and Matthew's high chair is sitting in the corner of the room. Other furnishings in the dining room include some pictures, a stereo that plays music, and a china cabinet that Bebe's parents were more than happy to give to her and Stan.

"Now this is how you eat your meals in style," Justin said.

"We're very much looking forward to hosting dinner parties with you guys because of this room," Stan said, "We're thinking of having one this Thanksgiving."

"You can bet that we'll be here," Cody said, referring to him, Edgar, Tori, Junior, and Shelly.

"And us too, son," Randy said.

"Don't overlook us," Jeffrey said.

"Already a pretty good turnout," Stan said happily.

"This china cabinet really does bring the room together," Cici said looking at said cabinet.

"Thanks, Cici," Bebe said, "My folks gave it to me when Kyle and I first married."

"It looks very beautiful in this room, darling," Helen said to her daughter.

"Thanks, mom," Bebe said happily.

"Now then, on with the tour," Stan said as he guided everyone to the next room.

On the way to the next room, everyone went down a hallway with four different doors, with a fifth door at the end.

"Where do all of these doors lead?" Paul asked Stan.

"Why don't you open them and find out?" Stan said.

Paul opened the first door on the left hand side of the hallway to reveal a linen closet filled with towels, wash cloths, bed sheets, and pillows. Butters opened the second door to reveal a sun room. The sun room is enclosed by double-pane glass windows, and there's an abundance of plant life thriving in that room. As for furniture, it was just some wicker chairs and a wicker couch with cushions on top of them.

"Wow, you guys have a sunroom!" Butters said, amazed.

"Yeah," Lyra said, "It's a nice area in the house to go if you want some peace and quiet. Dad and Mrs. Broflovski like to come here to do some reading, and I know I'm going to be doing my homework assignments here."

"I think I know what my next summer project should be," Butters said as he continued to admire the sunroom.

Back in the hallway, everyone focuses on the right hand side. Heidi opened the first door on the right hand side of the hallway to reveal a laundry room. The laundry room was a small room with yellow painted walls. There was a closet on the right that held an assortment of detergents and fabric softeners, and holes in the wall with baskets beneath them. These holes are laundry chutes that lead to the upstairs area. On the left was a washer and a dryer. In the front of the room was a window that showed the outside and beneath that was a sink.

Craig opened up the second door on the right to reveal a bathroom. The floor had white and black penny tiles and the walls were painted a dark green. Features in this bathroom include a toilet with a magazine holder sitting next to it, a sink with a mirror above it and a cabinet beneath it that holds an assortment of toiletries, medicines, and first aid items, and a clawfoot bathtub, and a glass shower stall.

"This is a nice bathroom, Stan," Craig said.

"Wait until you see the upstairs bathroom," Stan said, "That's just the guest bathroom. A place where any company we get can freshen up after they wake up in this room."

With that, Stan opens the door to the guest bedroom. The guest bedroom's walls were painted blue and had a gray carpeting. There was a queen sized bed with white sheets on one side of the room and some windows on the other side. On both sides of the bed were nightstands that each had a small lamp. The room also had a small closet and some drawers for any guests staying to put their clothes and luggage inside.

"This room looks so cozy," Lindsay said.

"The bed certainly is comfortable," Ike said, laying down on it.

"Ike get off from there," Gerald scolded, causing Ike to get up from the bed with a start "Stan and Bebe just made that bed."

"If you think this room looks welcoming, wait until you see our rooms," Lyra said.

"Can we see them, Lyra?" Mimi asked.

"Later," Lyra said, "In the meantime, we'd like to show you where the magic really happens: the basement!"

"What could be so magical about a dank basement," Penny asked.

"Wait and see," Lyra said.

"Follow us, everyone," Felix said as everybody left the guest bedroom.

Everyone went back to the living room where Felix opened a door that revealed a downward staircase. Everyone went downstairs to the basement, and when they got there they were greeted with yet another hallway. This time there are four doors on both sides and one door on the end.

"You want us to look through these doors like before, Stan?" Lola asked.

"Go ahead," Stan said.

Barry opened the first door on the left side of the hallway to reveal a storage closet where Stan, Bebe, and their kids stored things that they haven't unpacked yet, or have no real need for unpacking, such as holiday decorations.

Karen opened the second door on the left to reveal a small bathroom. This one just had a toilet and a sink and a mirror above it. There was a can of air freshener and a few magazines sitting atop the toilet tank and the walls had floral wallpaper.

Larry opened the first door on the right side to show a small room where the furnace resides. He went over to the second door on the right to show another small room where the water heater resides.

"So far nothing really too 'magical' about this basement, Lyra," Larry told his friend based on her statement from earlier.

"It gets better," Lyra said, "Open the last few doors."

Bridgette and Justin open the third door on the right to reveal a workout room. The workout room has a variety of exercise equipment such as a treadmill, an elliptical, a dumbbell rack, some yoga mats, a yoga ball, a bench press, and a tv to watch work-out videos or basic cable while whoever is in there gets their sweat on. The room had rubber flooring and white painted walls.

"This is a nice set up you have here, guys," Justin said looking at the workout room.

"Yeah, this reminds me of this gym I used to frequent back in Pueblo," Tweek said.

"Say, Stan, I didn't know you were into yoga," Kenny said, noticing the yoga mats and balls.

"That's actually Bebe's stuff," Stan answered, "But she has been trying to get me to do more yoga."

"I can only imagine why," Clyde whispered over to Kenny before he made what sounded like bed rocking noises. Red caught on to her husband's mischief and elbowed him hard in his arm to get him to stop, "Ow, I'm just saying that yoga is supposedly good for that kind of stuff," Clyde whispered to Red while rubbing his arm.

"They've only been dating for a couple of months, I don't think they're ready to take their relationship that far just yet," Red whispered back to her husband.

Sally opens the third door on the left to reveal a home theater. The room was painted black, had eight black reclining seats, maroon carpeting, a popcorn machine in the back corner, a huge screen at the front of the room with a Roku streaming device attached to it, and surround sound audio. Framed on the wall are posters of well known movies which include: Pulp Fiction, The Dark Knight, Avengers Endgame, Blade Runner, Back to the Future, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T The Extra Terrestrial, and Citizen Kane

"Wow!" Sally said in amazement.

"You guys have a home theater!" Tommy exclaimed.

"Yes we do," Bebe said, "And thanks to our Roku, we have access to an assortment of streaming platforms, making our film library nearly limitless."

"There's a lot of classic movie posters on the wall," Heidi said.

"Yeah, when we learned that this house would have a home theater I asked my dad if we could have some movie posters that he collected over the years," Stan said.

"They were just sitting in the basement collecting dust otherwise," Randy chimed in, "I'm happy knowing that you put them to great use here."

"Anyone want to try out the seats here?" Felix asked.

"I'll take up that offer," Kurt said as he plopped himself down on one of the chairs and activated its reclining feature, "Oh, these are comfortable. These would make great napping chairs if they weren't used for this home theater."

"Have you guys started using this room yet?" Craig asked.

"No, but we'd like to this Friday," Bebe said.

"We're still trying to decide which movie we'd like to watch as our first movie here," Lyra said, "Right now it's a toss up between 'Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring', Pixar's 'Up', and 'Space Jam'. Either way, I'm looking forward to it."

"There's still a few more rooms to check out down here, so let's go," Stan said as he guided everyone out of the home theater and to the fourth door on the left.

This door leads to a game room. The walls are painted a sky blue and the floor has light gray carpeting. Furniture in this room includes a shelves holding an assortment of board games and video games, a ping-pong table, a foosball table, a wall mounted dartboard, and a 48 inch T.V connected to an assortment of video game consoles, both current consoles that Lyra, Felix, and Isabella own (i.e Switch and PS4), and consoles from when Stan and Bebe were kids (i.e, SNES, N64, PS1, Genesis, PS2, PS3, etc.).

"Man, this game room totally dwarfs mine and Tori's," Edgar said in amazement.

"Darn right it does," Isabella said proudly.

"Look at all these video game consoles," Junior said, admiring them all.

"Most of them are from when our parents were kids," Lyra said before bringing his attention to the N64, which currently had a game inside of it, "Mrs. Broflovski was showing me her favorite game when she was a kid: Banjo-Kazooie, you know, your main in Smash Ultimate?"

"This was the game they originated from?" Junior asked, causing Lyra to nod, "I've got to play it someday then."

"I own the Rare Replay for my Xbox One, Junior," Paul said, "That game has Banjo-Kazooie on it. Maybe you'd like to come over some time and play with me?"

"I'd like that," Junior said smiling, causing Paul to smile himself.

"Aw man, a ping-pong table and a foosball table," Tori said as she admired the two gaming tables.

"Oh, I'm ready to school some of you fools in foosball," Edgar said, "Anybody want to challenge me?"

"Maybe later, son," Cody said, "We still have a lot of villa left to see,"

"Come right this way everybody," Stan said as they walked across the hall to the fourth door on the right hand side of the hallway.

Stan opens this door to reveal a home bar. The walls of the home bar are painted yellow and it has hardwood floors. There's a wooden bar with some cushioned bar stools in front of it and a whole display shelf of alcoholic beverages and liquor behind it. Also in the room is a poker table and a billiard table.

"And the fun and games continue in this room," Larry said looking at the poker and billiard table.

"While the kids hang out in the game room across the hall, we adults can hang out here, drink, and have a good time," Stan said.

"It's been a while since I played billiards," Red said looking at the pool table, "I wonder if I'm still good at it?"

"Hey, Cody," Kurt said as he stood next to the poker table, "Remember when you, Justin, and I were playing strip poker when we were 17 and then your mom walked in on us."

"Oh yeah," Cody laughed, "She came in right when Justin was about to take off his underwear and she just went, 'I'll come back later'."

Cody's story made everyone laugh.

"What was she thinking you guys were even doing?" Shelly asked, mid-laughter.

"I don't know, and I sure as hell don't want to know," Cody laughed.

"I think the only thing funnier than that story is the fact that you three played strip poker and no females were involved," Lola said.

"We asked Mallory, Ursula, and Bridgette if they wanted to play with us, but they declined," Justin explained.

"So, Stan," Butters asked, "How about some celebratory shots to cristen this new house?"

"Sure, why not?" Stan said as he got out some disposable shot glasses, some tequila for the adults and some lemonade for the kids. He poured out the drinks and handed them to the crowd.

"Here's to Stan, Bebe, and their kids," Randy said, "May, they all have long, happy lives in this kick ass house!"

"Here, here!" Stan said as everyone drank their shots. When it was done, everyone threw their shot glass away and moved on to the final door at the end of the hall.

"You guys ready to see what's behind this final door?" Felix asked.

"Let's see it!" Chelsea said.

Felix opened the last door to reveal a room with an indoor pool. The pool had steps leading into it and the depth ranged from 2 feet in the shallow end and went all the way to 8 feet in the deep end. In one corner of the room was a square shaped hot tub, and in the other was a small sauna. The walls in this room were dark blue tiles.

"YO! You guys have an indoor swimming pool!" Ike shouted.

"Oh yeah," Felix said, "And since it's an indoor pool, we can swim in this baby all year round. As you can imagine, this room is a personal favorite of mine."

"We also have a sauna and a hot tub here so we can relax after a stressful day," Bebe said.

"It's almost like the saunas we went in during our vacation to the Bahamas," Millie said.

"It's official, we have to stay over for a sleepover," Mimi said.

"Count me in," Tommy said.

"I think it's safe to say that Felix, Lyra, and I are the coolest kids in our group of friends," Isabella told her mom, causing Bebe to nod in agreement.

"Shall we head back upstairs so we can show you all the backyard?" Bebe asked

"We'd like that very much, Bebe," Lola said, "Lead the way."

Stan and Bebe led their entourage back upstairs and to back to the living room where they found a sliding glass door. They opened it to reveal the backyard. The backyard had a stone floor patio, which is furnished with a barbecue grill, some patio furniture like chairs and a table with an umbrella in it. On the other end of the patio was a fire pit where bonfires could be held, and there are chairs surrounding it.

Other than that, the backyard was a rather large open space, much larger than the average backyard. There's a gazebo on the left side of the backyard, a lone tree smack dab in the middle of it, and a large shed on the right side of it.

"This is the biggest backyard I've ever seen," Karen said, "Much bigger than I think any of us has ever had."

"I know, isn't it wonderful?" Felix asked, "We've got a barbecue for cookouts, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and all this space to run around and play in."

"We would've set up a tennis court, a volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, or even a small area where we can play bocce or croquet, but summer's almost over and we probably wouldn't get much time to use it." Stan said, "But next summer, it's all going up."

"Looking forward to it," Sally said.

"Are we not going to address the fact that Stan brought up the prospect of playing croquet?" Clyde asked, "I mean who plays that anymore?"

"I do," Cody muttered quietly, causing Shelly to rub his shoulder to calm him down.

"Hey, Mr. Marsh," Sid asked Stan, "What's with that shed over there?"

"Oh this, you guys have to see," Bebe said excitedly, "Follow me."

The group followed Bebe over to the shed, and when she opened the door, everyone saw all of her artworks from her storage unit. On top of that, there were shelves and desks with drawings, pencils, paint brushes, paints, and sketchbooks. In the middle of the room was an easel with a 'work in progress'. This shed was Bebe's art studio.

"Whoa, Bebe, is this your new art studio?" Heidi asked.

"Yes it is," Bebe said proudly, "While house hunting, Stan told me that he looked for a house that had a place where I could work on my paintings. When he discovered that this villa had this cozy looking shed, he thought it would be the perfect place for me, and he was right. The lighting here is excellent! So, I moved all of my paintings and supplies out of the storage unit and into this shed."

"What are you working on now, Mrs. Broflovski?" Paul asked as he stared at the work in progress.

"It's the very shed that we're in now," Bebe said, "When I first saw it, I knew that it would make the most perfect painting."

"It looks great so far," Red said.

"Thank you, Red," Bebe said with a smile.

"Totally not judging, Bebe, but sheds are where most people keep their toolbox and/or lawn keeping equipment," Craig said, "Where do you keep all of that?"

"In the garage," Stan said, "It's a separate building from our villa, and it's big enough to hold both my car and Bebe's. It's also the perfect place to keep our lawn mower, leaf blower, chainsaw, weed whacker, and a nifty tool box."

"Oh, that's pretty cool," Craig said, "I guess it's a rather spacious building then."

"You bet it is," Stan said.

"We'd show you all but it's not really that amazing of a room and aside from it being bigger, it's no different from any of your garages," Bebe said.

"It's okay, we understand," Cici said.

"Now, let's head back inside so we can show you all the upstairs," Stan said.

"Let's do it!" Ursula said as the crowd went back inside the house.

Once inside, Bebe and Stan led the group up the stairs to the top floor where they were greeted with another hallway. From the staircase, which was situated in the middle of the hallway, the left side had four doors and the right side had four doors.

"Hallways, hallways, always hallways," Carrie said, getting tired from seeing all of the house's hallways.

"Where do you guys want to start, left or right?" Lyra asked.

"Let's go left and work our way to the right," Millie said.

The group went left and opened the first of the three doors. Opening this door revealed what looked like a home office. This office had hardwood floors and brown painted walls. By the window was a desk, and on that desk was a computer and monitor, some papers, a desk calendar, and a cup with pens and pencils inside of it. Another smaller table had a printer, and next to that printer was another stack of papers, still in their packaging, and unused envelopes still in their box. Near the door was a wastebasket, and last but not least was an antique globe standing on three legs.

"Great job on the home office," Valerie complimented.

"Thank you," Stan said, "This is where we go over bills and taxes, make birthday cards, and it's where Bebe tends to her wix and sites for her paintings."

"And when it's not being used for those things, the computer is how I play on Steam," Felix said.

"I didn't know you were into PC gaming, Felix," Barry said.

"I'm trying to get into it to see what the buzz is about," Felix said.

"Where did you get an antique globe from, Stan?" Tweek asked.

"I'm glad you noticed, Tweek," Stan said, "To the naked eye, this would appear to be an antique globe, but upon further examination, you'll find…"

Stan opens the globe up to reveal small bottles of liquor and two glasses.

"...that it doubles as a bar," Stan continued.

"Now that is badass!" Kurt said.

"Hell yeah it is," Stan said as he closed the globe up, "Now then, on with the tour."

The group left the home office and moved on to the next door. They opened it up to reveal a room with nothing inside of it. The floors were hardwood and the walls were painted white, but there was no furniture present to compliment either.

"An empty room?" Firkle asked quizzically.

"Hello!" Penny called, hearing her voice ring out in the empty room.

"Why is this here?" Chelsea asked.

"We couldn't figure out what to do with this room, so we just decided to leave it empty until we figured something out," Bebe answered.

"Let's move on to a room with more things to look at, specifically, my room!" Felix said.

The group went across the hall to the next door which had Felix's room behind it. Felix's room had blue painted walls and a light gray carpet. All over the walls were posters of video games or Marvel/DC superheroes. His window curtain was a dark blue. He had a shelf on one side of the room where he had an assortment of figurines and knick-knacks, and on another side of the room, next to his closet no less, was his dresser. His bed had light blue sheets and matching quilt and pillow cases, and there was a nightstand next to his bed with a lamp on top of it.

"I know it doesn't look like much, but it's a place where I can rest my head after a long day," Felix said as he plopped himself down on his bed.

"It is a lovely room, Felix," Chelsea said as she looked around.

"Your collection of posters and figurines are also impressive, Felix," Lindsay chimed in.

"Thanks," Felix said as he sat up in his bed, "I got them as gifts, found them at yard sales, or they were pre-order bonuses from games or dvds that I pre-ordered."

"You sure do have a lot of them," Paul said.

"My mom says I need to stop collecting them because at some point I'm going to run out of room on my shelves," Felix said, "I try to resist the urge to obtain more collectibles, but I just can't help myself."

"I think we've seen enough of Felix's room," Lyra said, "How about we go next door to my room?"

"Good idea," Tommy said.

Everyone headed next door to Lyra's room, and she opened the door to show it off. Lyra's room had a white carpet with yellow painted walls. Much like Felix's room, she had a closet, a dresser, and a bed with a nightstand next to it. Differences come when it's shown that Lyra's bed has yellow and white sheets and pillow case, her nightstand doesn't have the traditional lamp but rather a moon lamp with her journal sitting next to it, her window curtains are yellow, and she also has a bookshelf loaded with manga. Furthermore, there appears to be a big lump under the sheets in her bed.

"Oh, cool, a moon lamp!" Sid exclaimed, "What a beauty this is."

"I won it when I saved up enough tickets at the Dave & Busters in Denver," Lyra said, "I think it really brings the room together."

"I never knew you were so big on manga, Lyra," Tori said as she looked at the girl's shelf.

"I got into it about three years ago," Lyra said, "A classmate of mine has an older sister who introduced me to it. I'm currently trying to catch up on my My Hero Academia, and once I'm done with that I'll move on to Bleach."

"Well, my one takeaway for today is that Lyra is a weeaboo," Penny said.

"Hey now, I'm not that bad, okay?" Lyra said defensively.

"What the heck is this?" Larry asked as he noticed the lump in Lyra's bed. He pulled back the sheets to reveal a Tom Holland dakimakura. Everyone just stared at Lyra, causing her face to become as red as a tomato.

"Oh my," Bridgette said, shocked.

"Where do you even get a Tom Holland body pillow?" Butters asked.

"Don't look at me, I didn't get it for her," Stan said.

"Can we just move on to the next room, please?" Lyra said embarrassed.

Everybody left Lyra's room and walked down the hall to Isabella's room. The door is opened and Isabella's room is revealed for all to see. The walls were painted white and the carpet was a light pink. The window was accompanied with pink curtains. Her bed had white and pink sheets and pillowcases, and placed atop her bed were all of Isabella's favorite plush toys. A similar feature to Felix and Lyra's bedrooms was that she had a dresser and a closet where she stores her clothes. Another feature her room has is a toy box where she stores all of her other plush toys or dolls. In the corner of the room is a Barbie Dream House Playset that Isabella still plays with fairly often. Her nightstand has a lamp sitting atop of it.

"Yeah, this is what I imagined Isabella's room would look like," Odette said.

"And what do you mean by that?" Isabella asked defensively.

"Nothing, it's just a normal girl's room," Odette said.

As everyone looked at Isabella's room, Felix looked over at her Barbie playset to find his action figure of Denver Quarterback Brett Rypien.

"Izzy, what's my Brett Rypien figure doing in your room?" Felix asked as he walked over to reclaim his toy.

"Barbie is celebrating the fact that her husband just won the big game against the Patriots," Isabella said.

"I thought Barbie liked Ken." Lola said.

"She did, but one day Barbie found out about Ken's secret affair with the make-up lady at Macy's so she kicked him to the curb and hooked up with Brett Rypien for a rebound." Isabella explained.

"Ah, youthful imagination at its best," Kenny said.

"Well, sorry to say, but Brett has to leave for another game," Felix said, having reclaimed his toy.

"Brett's going to have to return home sometime," Isabella said, "He and Barbie want to start a family."

"Well until then, he stays in my room," Felix said, "If you really want to play with him that badly, please ask for my permission and give him back when you're done."

"Okay," Isabella said, defeated.

"You handled that very maturely, Felix," Shelly said, "I remember whenever Stan would steal one of my toys when we were kids I'd punch him in the back."

"And I still have the bruises to prove it," Stan said bitterly.

"Aw, my poor Stanny," Bebe said as she hugged her second love.

"So now that we've seen Felix, Lyra, and Izzy's rooms, what about baby Matthew?" Helen asked.

"That's right across the hall," Bebe said, releasing Stan from her hug, "Follow us,"

Everyone walked across the hall and opened the door that lead to Matthew's room. The room had light brown carpeting and light green walls which had dark green leaves and yellow flowers painted onto it. The wall also had pictures of adorable animals hanging on it. As for furniture there was Matthew's crib which has a plush toy or two inside of it, a changing table, a toy box with all of his toys, a dresser and closet for his clothes, a rocking chair for Bebe to rock him to sleep in or read a story, and on that note, a book shelf that has plenty of children's books to read from. The corner of the room had a lamp, and there's an outlet in another part of the room that has a nightlight.

"Matthew is all hooked up here," Paul said, looking at all of the furnishings..

"Yeah, all hooked up," Carrie said.

"His room is rather cozy," Lindsay said.

"Nice shade of green," Tweek said, looking at the walls.

"You hear that, Matthew, sweetie, everybody loves your new room," Bebe said to her baby, who was sitting in a wearable baby carrier strapped to her chest the whole tour. Bebe's doting causes Matthew to giggle.

"Does Matthew like his new room?" Kurt asked.

"I think so," Bebe said, "When he gets old enough to the point where we have to buy him a bed, we'll obviously redecorate if he decides he doesn't like the way it looks now. But for right now, I think he likes it just fine."

"Two rooms left, who wants to see the Master Bathroom?" Stan asked.

"Show us the way, pal," Cody said.

Stan led everyone to the room next door, which was the upstairs bathroom. The door is opened, and everyone gets a good look at the Upstairs/Master Bathroom. It's even bigger than the last two, especially the basement bathroom. The floor had white marble tiles and the walls were painted white. It had the typical furnishing that most bathrooms would have, such as a toilet, medicine cabinet, and shelf where toiletries would be stored, but this bathroom had a long sink that had three faucets and above it was an equally long mirror. This bathroom also had a large jacuzzi bathtub and a big glass shower stall that dwarfs the one downstairs. This stall was big enough to have a seat built inside of it.

"Now this is a bathroom!" Ike said as he walked inside.

"Look at the size of this sink," Red exclaimed, "Why would anyone want three faucets?"

"In case you haven't noticed mom, a family of six isn't exactly small," Chelsea said, "This sink I'd say is a good investment for them."

"Look at this bathtub," Junior said, looking at the jacuzzi tub, "It's almost like you guys have a second hot tub."

"This one is meant more for bathing purposes, but I guess it could find use as a second hot tub," Lyra said.

"I've never seen a home shower stall with a built-in seat before," Mimi said, "What's it even for?"

"Well, we could hold our shampoos, conditioners, and soaps there. It could be a great place to sit while shaving legs among other parts. And it's a great place to sit if you want to run the water hot and turn this place into a steam room," Bebe explained.

"Hold up, when you said 'other parts,' what do you mean?" Mimi asked.

"That's something you need to ask your mother about," Bebe said bluntly.

"Well everyone, there's only one room left to check out and that's mine and Bebe's room," Stan said.

"Aw yeah," Clyde teased, "Take us to where the magic really happens."

"They're not there yet!" Red said, annoyed.

Stan led everyone out of the bathroom and across the hall to his and Bebe's room. Stan opens the door and lets everyone inside. Bebe and Stan's bedroom had the canopy bed from Bebe's house, as well as two dressers, two nightstands on both sides of the bed with lamps standing atop them, pictures of Stan and Bebe's family and friends hanging on the wall. Three new features in this bedroom include a fireplace, a walk-in closet, and a bay window. This bedroom also had a couple of lounge chairs with a small glass table between them. The floor is a light gray carpet while the walls are painted a darker shade of gray.

"Goddamn, you two are living like royalty in this room," Ike exclaimed.

"Language, Ike!" Sheila scolded.

"Oh my gosh, a bay window!" Sally exclaimed as she walked up to said window, "I've always wanted to have one of these!"

"Yeah me too," Tweek said.

"I guess we know what next summer's home project is going to be, eh?" Cici teased.

"You know it," Tweek said.

"Would you look at this closet," Odette said as she admired Stan and Bebe's walk-in closet. The walk-in closet had loads of shelves and drawers to store clothes and shoes, as well as towels and bed sheets that the linen closet downstairs couldn't hold. There's also a cushioned seat and a mirror in there too.

"Sweet walk-in closet, guys," Kurt said.

"Thanks," Bebe said.

"You've amassed quite the collection of photographs, you two," Cody said as he looked at all of them.

"They're the photos of our family and friends that bring us the most joy," Stan said.

"Hey, look, there's a photo of Kyle, and another of Wendy!" Lola said as she pointed at two photographs smack dab in the middle of the collection.

"Yeah, they really bring our photo collection together," Bebe said.

"Kyle and Wendy would be proud of you two, you know, living high on the hog and stuff," Craig said.

"Yeah, we think so too," Stan said, "But, I guess that concludes our little tour of this place."

"I don't know what else needs to be said, you two," Bridgette said, "This house is excellent."

"You two have come a long way from your school days," Randy said.

"And the rest of us haven't?" Shelly asked her father.

"The rest of you are doing fine too, but Stan and Bebe are really doing it up right," Randy said.

"It was just a stroke of dumb luck that I won the lottery, dad," Stan said, "I guarantee it would never happen again as long as I live."

"But more than that, Stan, you graduated top of your class in both boot camp and community college, you are hailed as a hero for killing Rakish, you're the winner of this year's Fourth of July Sing-Off, you're one of the best officers at South Park's precinct, you got the privilege to be a suitor for two beautiful women, Wendy and Bebe, you have an amazing daughter, Lyra, and now you're living it up in this killer crib." Kenny said, "You've lived a full and active life and all before the age 30."

"I guess my life is pretty awesome, isn't it?" Stan asked.

"And it can only get even better from here," Bebe said as she, Matthew, Lyra, Felix, and Isabella gave him a group hug and everyone looked on with pride.

"Today, I consider myself the luckiest man in all of South Park," Stan said, "I'm lucky to get this house, lucky to have a great job and reputation as a hero, but above all, I'm lucky to have each and everyone of you in my life. May we have many more years together, and may we make many more unforgettable memories."

"Amen to that!" Butters said as soon everybody gave Stan a group hug.

"Not complaining but this is starting to get a little claustrophobic," Lyra said.

"Sorry about that," Butters said as he and everyone else backed off from the huge group hug.

Later on, everyone decided to enjoy Stan and Bebe's new house together. Bebe, the other adult females in the group, and baby Matthew hung out and talked in the living room. Stan and the other adult males in the group hung out in the home bar, taking shots and playing poker and billiards. All of the kids decided to hang out in the game room. Edgar, Tori, Odette, and Sid faced each other in a game of 301 on the dartboard. Isabella, Carrie, Penny, and Tommy were playing 4 player Smash Bros Ultimate. Junior, Paul, Chelsea, and Lindsay were playing against each other in UNO. Mimi and Larry were facing each other in ping pong while Cici and Barry played against each other in foosball.

Lyra and Felix watched joyfully as their friends had the times of their lives. But that joyfulness didn't last long as they had remembered what today was, August 30th. They had remembered Wendy and Kyle's requests for the two of them to return to the Dreamscape with their friends on the night of August 31st into September 1st so they could take on Carlos Murciélago together. Seeing as everyone was united under one roof at this moment, this felt like the perfect time.

"Hey, uh, Chelsea, Larry, Barry, Lindsay, Mimi, Cici, Junior, Paul, Edgar, Tori, Odette, and Sid," Felix called, "Can Lyra and I speak with you lot in private?"

"Sure, dudes," Sid said.

"Oh, can we come," Carrie asked.

"No, Carrie, they specifically called for us," Paul said.

"Hmph," Carrie pouted.

"Come on, we'll talk in the work out room," Lyra said as she led the older kids out of the game room.

The group of fourteen walked down the hall to the work out room. Once they were all inside they shut the door and Lyra and Felix stood in front of everyone to address them.

"Alright you two, what's going on?" Edgar asked.

"Felix and I had this dream the other night," Lyra began, "And in that dream a man came and took a piece of mine and Felix's happiness."

The other twelve children's eyes widened in shock.

"I had a dream like that too, but he took a piece of my sadness," Mimi exclaimed.

"And he took a piece of my ambition," Tori said.

"He took a piece of both my fear and my love," Barry said.

"You guys have all had a run in with this man?" Felix asked in shock.

"It looks that way," Odette said.

"Hold on, before we continue any further I have one question," Cici said as she reached into her pocket for something, "Did this man look something like this?"

Cici pulled out the sketch she drew of Carlos and all the kids gasped in shock.

"Yeah, that's him, that's him!" Paul exclaimed, "He tackled me to the ground and took a piece of my love!"

"Now there's no doubt about it," Lyra said, "We all had a dream about this man."

"But who is he?" Junior asked.

"That question brings us to this next statement," Felix said, "As I'm sure you're all aware, my dad and Lyra's mom are as dead as a dodo…well, that's not exactly true."

"Are you saying they're still roaming the Earth as zombies?!" Lindsay exclaimed, "I knew the zombie apocalypse was near, you all laughed at me! It's the end of days!"

"Lindsay, calm down!" Lyra said, "It's not a zombie apocalypse, just listen. Okay, so…there's no real easy way to say this so I'm just going to come out with it…my mom's soul and Felix's dad's soul kind of live on in us."

Hearing Lyra say that made the other twelve kids just stare at her and Felix with looks of confusion. After a brief silence, Felix speaks up.

"Yeah, we know it sounds weird, but it's true," Felix said, "Lyra's mom and my dad came to us in a dream and told us that their spirits reside in our hearts. Kind of like a Sora-Ventus situation for those of you who play Kingdom Hearts."

"I really need to play more of those games," Paul said, going off topic.

"Anyway, during mine and Felix's dream, which we shared by the way…" Lyra said before Chelsea cut her off.

"Wait, you two shared the same dream?" Chelsea said, "How did you do that?"

"Admittedly, even we don't know," Felix said, "Maybe it has to do with how deep our sleep is or how in sync we are with each other, I really don't know, but Lyra, please continue."

"In this dream, our parents fought that man," Lyra continued, "I believe he said his name was Carlos or something?"

"Wait, Carlos as in Carlos Murciélago?" Barry asked.

"You know about him?" Lyra asked.

"Yeah, our dad kind of followed the history of these powerful sort of crystals and their wielders," Barry said, "We don't know a lot, only hearing bits and pieces of his ramblings, but the name Carlos Murciélago certainly sticks out. You're telling us that Mr. Broflovski and Mrs. Marsh fought against this guy?"

"Yes," Felix said, "Or at least a form of him. I think he said something about his body being elsewhere, so this was his consciousness that they fought against. And that thing you said about crystals, he did say something about being 'The Champion of the Dream Crystal'. My guess is that was how he travels from dream to dream to begin with.

"Man, this is all too crazy," Tori said holding her head, "There's no way this can be real."

"Well it is real, Tori," Lyra said, "But to cap off this little discussion, my mom and Felix's dad told us to tell you all about what had happened so we can team up and take him down. We don't know what he wants with our pieces of emotion, but we can't say it's for anything good."

"I don't know what the big deal is," Sid said, "When I met Carlos he was a cool dude. He was willing to listen to my music, so as a 'thank you' I willingly gave him a piece of my happiness."

"You willingly gave it to him?" Lyra asked in shock.

"Yeah, he seemed nice to me," Sid said before Lyra grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"Well here's a little lesson for you, Sid," Lyra snapped before smacking him repeatedly, "Not! Everyone! Is! A nice! Person!"

"Even if they don't seem bad at first," Sid asked, his face red from Lyra's slaps.

"Especially if they don't seem bad at first," Lyra said as she delivered one final smack before letting him go, "Trust no one in this world until they give you a reason for you to give them your trust, that's what my dad always told me."

"Lesson learned," Sid said, rubbing his face.

"So you want us to team up with you so we can take on this Carlos guy," Odette said.

"Yes," Lyra said, "And from what we've seen from his battle with my mom and Felix's dad, he's not someone to be dealt with lightly. I just want to let you guys know what you're in for."

"How bad could it be?" Junior asked, "You two are some of the best friends any of us has ever had. We'd love to help you anyway we can."

The other eleven nodded with Junior in agreement.

"But to help you, we need to do what you two did and find a way to share the same dream," Mimi said

"Mom and Mr. Broflovski said that on the night of August 31st, tomorrow night, we need to meet with them," Lyra said, "I'm kind of thinking this up on the fly, but what if we all fell asleep at the same time that night."

"That could work," Felix said.

"The same time?" Lindsay said, "But what if we're more tired than you and we need to fall asleep before you?"

"Do jumping jacks or eat some candy to get a sugar rush," Lyra said.

"Or what if we're not tired at all?" Lindsay asked.

"Drink Nyquil or listen to ASMR, I don't know what you want me to tell you," Lyra said, "All I know is, at 9:00 PM on August 31st…it's going down. Are you guys in?"

Lyra put her hand in between the fourteen of them and Felix followed suit. After him came Chelsea, Junior, Paul, Tori, Edgar, Sid, Odette, Lindsay, Mimi, Cici, Barry, and finally Larry. All 14 kids have decided to band together and take on Carlos, no matter how ridiculous it all sounds.

"Alright," Lyra said confidently, "Let's get our dream on!"
